The present diploma thesis "Animated models of heat engines" describes the design of an interactive application. The theoretical part deals with the classification of heat engines and their rotations. The result of the present diploma thesis is the new application "Animation of heat engines" designed in Flash programme. This application is focused on the basic function principle of four demonstrated engines. The present work also deals with assessing and comparison of real engines, their cuts, real models and animated engines.

Partimos do pressuposto de que é fundamental que o professor utilize todo o potencial das novas tecnologias, oportunizando ao aluno cada vez mais um ambiente de aprendizagem desafiador. Neste sentido os computadores passam a ter uma importância muito forte quando se vislumbram a possibilidade do seu potencial ser direcionado por meio de um programa computacional como o Macromedia Flash MX. Caracteriza-se como um estudo exploratório em que se empregou revisão bibliográfica o que reforçou a possibilidade de utilizarmos a tecnologia em sala de aula caracterizando uma proposta de integração entre o técnico e o educador.

abstract: Flash memories are critical for embedded devices to operate properly but are susceptible to radiation effects, which make flash memory a key factor to improve the reliability of circuitry. This thesis describes the simulation techniques used to analyze and predict total ionizing dose (TID) effects on 90-nm technology Silicon Storage Technology (SST) SuperFlash Generation 3 devices. Silvaco Atlas is used for both device level design and simulation purposes. The simulations consist of no radiation and radiation modeling. The no radiation modeling details the cell structure development and characterizes basic operations (read, erase and program) of a flash memory cell. The program time is observed to be approximately 10 μs while the erase time is approximately 0.1 ms. The radiation modeling uses the fixed oxide charge method to analyze the TID effects on the same flash memory cell. After irradiation, a threshold voltage shift of the flash memory cell is observed. The threshold voltages of a programmed cell and an erased cell are reduced at an average rate of 0.025 V/krad. The use of simulation techniques allows designers to better understand the TID response of a SST flash memory cell and to predict cell level TID effects without performing the costly in-situ irradiation experiments. The simulation and experimental results agree qualitatively. In particular, simulation results reveal that ‘0’ to ‘1’ errors but not ‘1’ to ‘0’ retention errors occur; likewise, ‘0’ to ‘1’ errors dominate experimental testing, which also includes circuitry effects that can cause ‘1’ to ‘0’ failures. Isto impõe limitações para aplicações tecnológicas quando as cerâmicas supercondutoras estão submetidas a estresses elétricos e térmicos. Desta forma, uma alternativa é combinar as propriedades da cerâmica supercondutora com as propriedades dos metais. Com este objetivo em mente, nesta dissertação foi investigada a deposição de cerâmica supercondutora YBa2Cu3O7− em aço inoxidável AISI 304 L seguido de tratamento térmico. As medidas de difusividade térmica foram realizadas com um laser de dióxido de carbono com perfil espacial gaussiano, comprimento de onda 10 µ!, intensidade 10 "2 #/!2 e diâmetro igual a 1 !!. A fim de realizar comparações, a medida da difusividade térmica em chapa de aço inoxidável AISI 304 L, tal como recebido, apresentou valor similar ao valor fornecido pelo fabricante. Utilizando chapas de AISI 304 L, foram fabricados vários substratos com dimensões de 70mm x 10mm x 3mm. Posteriormente, esses substratos foram fresados, produzindo canais retangulares de 2 mm de largura por 1,25 mm de profundidade. Os canais foram preenchidos com eletrocerâmicas de YBaCuO. Essa montagem foi levada ao forno por 15 min a uma temperatura de 1040°C, sendo retirada e esfriada ao ar, gerando amostras da junção. Estas amostras de junções foram caracterizadas por XRD, susceptibilidade magnética AC e microscopia eletrônica de varredura. Por fim, realizaram-se as medidas de difusividade térmica através do método flash na junção. A difusividade térmica da junção metal/cerâmica apresentou valores próximos aos estimados teoricamente, considerando a hipótese de aditividade sem interferência entre os compostos. Entretanto, tais conclusões são parciais, o que reforça a necessidade de estudos mais aprofundados acerca da difusividade térmica desta junção Metal/Cerâmico. Ett community är en mötesplats på Internet där människor kan hålla kontakt, lära känna nya människor, diskutera osv. Det finns idag en mängd olika communities med många olika inriktningar. Communityn är idag mycket populära sidor på nätet och vissa har enormt mycket besökare och tjänar stora pengar. Det kan därför vara svårt att locka medlemmar om inte communityt innehåller nyheter som inte redan finns. Målet med det här arbetet har varit att skapa en tilltalande och användarvänlig design till ett community med ett sommar, fest och rese- tema. Delvis används en enkätundersökning för att ta reda på hur viktig det är med en design som sticker ut för att locka medlemmar. Resultatet av arbetet har blivit att en design med ett tema till sommar, fest och resor har skapats. Designen går i huvudsak i färgerna gul, blå och vit. Designen är till största del uppbyggd av CSS, ASP.NET och HTML.

Detta examensarbete är gjort för de tre företagen Hårdoktorn, Vegas och Repris. Tanken var att skapa en galleria på Internet med information om varar och tjänster som företagen säljer samt att skapa en webbshop. Under arbetets gång användes många olika tekniker såsom HTML, Director, Flash och ASP. / This degree projekt was made for the three companies Hårdoktorn, Vegas and Repris. The idea was to create a mall on the Internet with information about products and services that these companies sells and also to create a webshop. During the project many different techniques, such as HTML, Director, Flash and ASP, was used.

Detta examensarbete är gjort för Goodwill Reklambyrå i Norrköping. Uppgifterna var att skapa en hemsida och en företagsportal åt företaget. Med företagsportal menas en applikation upplagd på Internet där företagets anställda kan läsa, uppdatera, radera och skapa poster som är lagrade i databaser. I huvudsak har Flash använts för att skapa hemsidan och ASP (Active Server Pages) för att bygga upp företagsportalen. Resultatet blev en underhållande och informativ hemsida och en säker och användbar företagsportal. I denna rapport får läsaren en utförlig redogörelse för arbetet. / This degree project is made for Goodwill Reklambyrå in Norrköping. The task was to create a homepage and a business community for the company. By business community we mean an application on the Internet where the company staff are able to read, update, delete and create posts which are stored in databases. Mainly have Flash been used to create the homepage and ASP (Active Server Pages) to build the business community. The final result was an entertaining and informative homepage and a secure and useable business community. In this report the reader gets a detailed statement of our work.
