Tillit och trovärdighet inom webbdesign : En stegvis modell för utvärdering av trovärdighet med utgångspunkt från ett kommunikativt perspektiv / Trust and credibility in web design : A progressive model for the evaluation of credibility based on a communicative perspective

Löfstedt, Joachim January 2010 (has links)

/
This study examines how a private healthcare company's website should be designed to convey a high level of credibility to users and potential customers. Prekės ženklo charakterio archetipų sistema ir jos praktinis pritaikymas dizainui / Brand archetype sytems in design practice

Berlinskij, Dmitrij 03 July 2014 (has links)
Brand archetypes are great tool to design using philosophical systems. These systems can change communication workflow of the artist or their agents with their clients. Working with the target group, asking questions, gathering information about their perception, allows artist to change existing cliche or fallow, search for existing. This approach brings more decision making to designer. Then the design is created by using gathered material, client values and market situation.

Andrén, Sandra, Man, Nicole January 2016 (has links)
In Pursuit of Harmony: Calligraphy & Typography

Fan, Feifei 07 May 2009 (has links)
Chinese calligraphy and Western typography have been evolving for around five thousands years. During this time, they have developed quite different characteristics. Compared with the geometrical form and precision of Western printing types, Chinese calligraphy features abstract shapes and spontaneous strokes. These differences result in a gap that prevents a harmonious and organic relationship between them. This project explores the possibilities of combining these two historical visual systems, demonstrates specific methods and approaches for creating compelling formal relationships, and endeavors to establish a friendly, organic and harmonious dialogue between Chinese calligraphy and Western typography. The outcome of this project is a handmade book and a series of posters. The content of them comes from the writings of Lao-Tzu.

The Generation of Forms and Thai Typeface Design

Phatanateacha, Pornprapha 01 January 2003 (has links)
Changes in culture, design, fashion and lifestyle are very common for a developing country such as Thailand. Losing the identity and significant quality of Thai culture is the biggest concern in this rapid movement in Thai society. The biggest challenge is to preserve the existing culture within the development in the society. These problems within the rapid change not only affect Thai lifestyle and fashion but also Thai graphic design. There is a trend in poster design, advertising, and packaging to follow Western design. That influence suggests that Thai design follow a Western model in order to be as successful. Thai type designers have adopted the elements of the roman type and applied them to Thai letterforms without considering the impact on the Thai language. As a result, important characteristics of the Thai letterforms have been lost because of this borrowing of Western forms. My creative project is to design Thai letterforms that reflect Thai culture. The development of my letterform design will be translated in systematic ways. The generation of forms will be demonstrated through my design methodology.

Self-reference Through White Space in Graphic Design

Birand, Can 08 August 2008 (has links)
In the graphic design, successful use of white space provides the designed object with a strong reference to its material quality and internal structure. Showing the paper breaks the wall between the design and the viewer, and gives the audience a better understanding of the construction of graphic design. White space is devoid representation, which leads the work to become completely honest about its materiality. This project explores different methods and processes for creating aesthetic/conceptual integrity in graphic design by using white space as a primary device.
