En grav för två? : En fallstudie om graven från Bergsvägen i Linköping och flerpersonsgravarnas problematik under båtyxekulturenHolm, Ebba January 2016 (has links)
The essay deals with the phenomena “multiple individual burials”, which implicates a burial with two or more individuals, during the Boat Axe Culture (2800-2300 BC) in Sweden. The focus of this essay is the burial from Bergsvägen in Linköping, east Sweden. The burial is described as unique because of its well-preserved skeletons and grave goods, but the question is how unique is it in comparison with other multiple individual burials? This matter is analysed in the essay by a comparative analysis, and multiple burials are also compared with single burials to understand why some individuals of the community were buried in multiple individual burials while others were not. Maybe they died at the same time and multiple individual burials were practical or maybe they had high or low status within the community. The purpose of this essay is to understand the relationship between the individuals in the multiple individual burials. The later part of the essay deals with the burial from Bergsvägen as a unique culture heritage, and how it is interpreted in an exhibition in the Museum of Östergötland, Linköping.

This volume brings together twenty-eight papers from an International conference on attitudes towards the past and the creating of identities in Antiquity. The volume addresses many different approaches to these issues, spanning over many centuries, ranging in time from the Prehistoric periods to the Late Antiquity, and covering large areas, from Britain to Greece and Italy and to Asia Minor and Cyprus. The papers deal with several important problems, such as the use of tradition and memory in shaping an individual or a collective identity, continuity and/or change and the efforts to connect the past with the present. Among the topics discussed are the interpretation of literary texts, e.g. a play by Plautus, the Aeneid, a speech by Lykurgos, poems by Claudian and Prudentius, and of historical texts and inscriptions, e.g. funerary epigrams, and the analysis of the iconography of Roman coins, Etruscan reliefs, Pompeian and Etruscan frescoes and Cypriote sculpture, and of architectural remains of houses, tombs and temples. Other topics are religious festivals, such as the Lupercalia, foundation myths, the image of the emperor on coins and in literature, the significance of intra-urban burials, forgeries connected with the Trojan War, Hippocrates and Roman martyrs.

Vem var det som kom på vägen? : Bibelbruk i Britt G. Hallqvists psalmerEricsson, Carl Eric January 2017 (has links)
I uppsatsen undersöks sju psalmer som alla har text skriven av Britt G. Hallqvist (1914-1997). De sju psalmerna är ”Vem är det som kommer på vägen?” (1955), ”De skall gå till den heliga staden” (1976), ”Lär mig att bedja av hjärtat” (1970), ”Han gick den svåra vägen” (1975), ”Sackeus var en publikan” (1958), ”Ett litet barn av Davids hus” (1966) samt ”Graven ligger tom” (1970). I uppsatsen ges en bakgrund kring psalmer som fenomen och psalmerna är placerade in i en psalmbokskontext och psalmboken i en nutida kontext. Därtill är författaren, Britt G. Hallqvist, presenterad, vars psalmer är studerade i uppsatsen. Därefter är en analys av de valda psalmerna gjord, psalmerna är i sin tur jämförda med de nytestamentliga texter som är kopplade till den psalmen. I diskussionen gås alla psalmerna igen utifrån några punkter som förenar psalmerna med varandra, eller för dem längre ifrån varandra. I slutsatsen sammanfattas resultatet i analysen och i diskussionen och förtydligas vad svaret på uppsatsens frågeställning blir.
