Teodor Holmberg was a Swedish author, political opinion-shaper and political debater who were active during the late 19th century and the early 20th century. The Swedish political party Sweden Democrats emphasizes Holmberg as an important ideological source of inspi­ration in their policy program. In a few books and articles, Holmberg is presented as one of the few conservative debaters who were a supporter of democracy and who advocated the introduction of universal suffrage for both men and women during the Swedish democratiza­tion process in the early 1900s. In articles and previous research, there are conflicting opin­ions about Holmberg’s ideological approach to democracy, universal suffrage and parliamentarianism. The aim of this thesis is to analyze Holmberg’s ideological approach to the universal suffrage, parliamentarianism and conception of democracy during the Swedish de­mo­crat­ization process 1906-1925. The result show that Holmberg advocated the intro­duction of universal suffrage for both men and women during the democratization process, and also had a positive attitude towards citizens participation in the governance of the nation. Holm­berg’s ideological position is influenced by both a nationalist idea of the rights and free­doms of national citizenship, and a traditionalist conservative view of the popular self-govern­ment as a Swedish governmental tradition. Holmberg’s conception of democracy is also based on both a nationalist and a pragmatic conservative view, and means that all citizen and social classes have the same right to participate in the governance of the nation. Holmberg’s view on governance can be described as a popular self-government in which all the people in the na­tion are striving together to cater for the nation’s welfare and interests. Holmberg’s conception of democracy implies a resistance to the majority principle and parliamentarianism. Holmberg’s advocacy of universal suffrage and positive view of the citizens’ political partici­pation is very radical and different compared to the dominant view within the Swedish right wing. In contrast, Holmberg’s opposition to parliamentarianism and strong defence of the Swedish king’s political power is consistent with the dominant view within the Swedish right wing.

This paper examined a few different types of interacting galaxies and the implications the data has on cosmological theories. An analysis of the Holmberg Effect, Holmberg (1969)’s observation that companion galaxies tend to be near the poles of edge-on galaxies rather than in the planes, was done by reexamining the spirals viewed by Holmberg. Only using radial velocity confirmed companions to test for this effect showed that if anything, the opposite of the Holmberg effect is true. However, due to small number statistics, more edge-on spirals and their companions would have to be viewed in order to determine if this is an actual physical effect of anisotropic companion distribution around primary galaxies. It is important to discover if there is a preferred distribution, because it could point to the distribution of dark matter around the primary galaxies, and have interesting impacts on large-scale universal structure and cosmology theory.

Den här studien syftar till att visa hur Åke Holmberg och Astrid Lindgren gör för att ackommodera läsarens uppmärksamhet från en genre till en annan genom en genreanalys av Kati i Amerika och Skuggornas Hus. Genom en berättarteknisk analys avser jag även att undersöka hur ett genreinslag kan användas för att kompositionellt motivera övergången till ett inslag inom den andra genren. Båda romanerna har en berättarperson som också deltar i handlingen men frågan är om de båda romanerna ger samma intryck av äkta sceniskhet? Analysen av Kati i Amerika och Skuggornas Hus visar att Holmberg och Lindgren kombinerar två olika genrer var, som går parallellt i romanernas handlingar. I studien kommer jag fram till att författarna använder den ena genren för att kompositionellt motivera den andra genren och tvärtom. Detta fenomen är något tydligare i Skuggornas Hus än i Kati i Amerika. Resultatet bekräftar även min tes om att intrycket av ett berättande jag är starkare i en reseroman än i en äventyrsberättelse med inslag av thriller. Skuggornas Hus ger därför ett kraftigare intryck av äkta sceniskhet i förhållande till Kati i Amerika.

Si bien el 80 ha sido trabajado y leído desde distintos contextos socio históricos y literarios, la continuidad y resignificación de su corpus y sus legados, deja abierto un espacio para la crítica, con una cantidad considerable de autores que han sido lateralizados, en muchos casos, por lecturas convencionales. Enrique Loncán es un autor periférico de comienzos del siglo XX al igual que Eduardo Holmberg, a punto tal que su obra <i>Olimpio Pitango de Monalia</i> recién se publicó en el año 1994. Según Arturo Cancela, "con Enrique Loncán, se cierra para siempre el ciclo de la literatura mundana comenzado por la generación del 80, en cuyos cánones se inscriben su personalidad, sus gustos y su literatura". Heredero o epígono de escritores como Mansilla en el <i>Sud América</i>, de Lucio V. López, de Eduardo Wilde y de Miguel Cané, pone en práctica su versatilidad discursiva frecuentando el periodismo, la oratoria, la política y la literatura, a la vez que se desempeña en la cátedra universitaria, el Congreso Nacional y la diplomacia. Eduardo Holmberg, por otra parte, pertenece a la saga de los escritores conocidos a medias y muchas veces, por esta misma causa, ha sido motivo de una simplificación oportunista de su significación, sujeto a una lectura rápida, proclive a juicios no del todo probados. La tesis está estructurada en dos partes y cada una tiene como eje el estudio de uno de los dos autores citados. La primera está dedicada a la obra de Enrique Loncán, particularmente <i>Palabras de la derrota</i>, <i>He dicho</i> y <i>Aldea Millonaria</i>, y la segunda aborda dos conferencias "Carlos Alberto Darwin", "Pinceladas descriptivas" y los dos últimos textos escritos por Eduardo Holmberg, <i>Lin Calel</i> (1910) y <i>Olimpio Pitango de Monalia</i>. El título de la tesis, "Permanencia y superación del 80 en dos escritores de 'entre-siglos'", adelanta sus dos hipótesis centrales: la 'permanencia' o continuidad poética e ideológica del 80 en los trabajos de Loncán, y la 'superación' del mismo período por la práctica de escritura de Eduardo Holmberg. El cruce de ambos autores y sus respectivas obras pone de relieve un doble movimiento, el regreso al pasado por parte de quien desarrolló su carrera literaria durante los primeros cuarenta años del siglo XX, y la evolución hacia el futuro de Holmberg que se desarrolló literariamente a lo largo del 80. Este doble movimiento -el retroceso hacia las fuentes por parte de Loncán y el 'progreso' rupturista de Holmberg- mantiene una relación dialéctica con la historia social y política del país en el primer caso, y una relación con la historia y con la filosofía de la historia en el segundo, sobre todo en <i>Olimpio Pitango de Monalia</i>, en la medida en que deconstruye la historiografía liberal oficial.

Ce manuscrit de thèse concerne le développement d'une stratégie de synthèse multi-étapes de nouveaux composés comportant plusieurs plateformes hétérocycliques (rhodanine, benzimidazole, pyrazole et imidazole) à visée thérapeutique multiple contre la malaria, la leishmaniose, le cancer et les maladies neurodégénératives. Les pharmacomodulations de ces composés ont été élaborées sur la base du modèle de la pentamidine 35 comportant 2 motifs benzamidines (parties « Ouest » et « Est »). En effet, la substitution de sa partie « Ouest » par une plateforme rhodanine ou benzimidazole et de sa partie « Est » par un système aromatique plan ou système azole (pyrazole, imidazole) a permis d’accéder respectivement aux 5-arylidènes rhodanines (50, 58), aux dérivés ''aza'' (99,100) et aux dérivés ''aza azoles'' 174 qui sont des analogues de la pentamidine. Les rendements de ces composés sont respectivement compris entre 26 et 98%, 10 et 93% et 10 et 97%. L’ensemble des composés synthétisés dans les chapitres II, III et IV de ces travaux ont été l'objet d'évaluations pour leur activité antiproliférative sur les lignées cellulaires et pour leur activité inhibitrice sur les protéines kinases. / This thesis manuscript is focused on the development of multi-steps synthesis strategy of new compounds bearing several heterocyclic platforms (rhodanine, benzimidazole, pyrazole and imidazole) for multiple therapeutic use to fight malaria, leishmaniasis, cancer et neurodegenarative diseases. The pharmacomodulations of these compounds were developped from the design of pentamidine 35 which containins 2 fragments benzamidine (parts ''West'' and ''East''). Indeed, the substitution of its part ''West'' by a platform rhodanine or benzimidazole and its part ''East'' by an "azole" aromatic ring system (pyrazole, imidazole) lead respectively to 5-arylidene rhodanines (50, 58), to derivatives ''aza'' (99,100) and to derivatives ''aza azoles'' 174 which are pentamidine analogs. The chemical yields of these compounds are ranging respectively from 26 to 98%, 10 to 93% and 10 to 97%. All the compounds synthesized in the chapters II, III and IV of this research work were evaluated for their antiproliferative activity on tumoral cell lines and for their inhibitory activity on protein kinases.

Under pandemiåren 2020 - 2021 förändrades förutsättningarna att vara kyrka i grunden. I denna uppsats analyseras kören som ett uttryck för församlingsgemenskap. Genom en intervjuundersökning bestående av fokusgrupper med körsångare och enskilda intervjuer med körledare och kyrkoherde beskrivs den församlingsgemenskap som framträder och hur den påverkades under perioden. Hur digitala verktyg användes som resurs under pandemin beskrivs också. Intervjuerna har transkriberats och analyserats utifrån Andreas Holmbergs avhandling om levd ecklesiologi i Svenska kyrkan.

<p>Mitt examensarbete har gått ut på att stå för den grafiska formgivningen till en historiebok om byn Vormsele. Den här rapporten behandlar de layoutmässiga och typografiska frågor som har varit relevanta för mitt arbete med boken.</p><p>För att genomföra uppdraget har jag gjort litteraturstudier där jag tagit fram riktlinjer för det praktiska arbetet med boken. Jag har läst böcker inom informationsdesign och mer inriktade böcker som behandlar layout och typografi. Litteraturstudierna gav mig ökad kunskap inom området och jag kunde utifrån dessa få en förståelse för vilka grafiska beslut som var nödvändiga att ta innan jag kunde påbörja själva layoutarbetet.</p><p>Att sätta samman boken har varit ett omfattande arbete och mycket finns att läsa inom området. Rapporten avser inte på något sätt att behandla alla frågor som kan komma upp vid formgivning av en bok, utan behandlar de övergripande frågeställningar som har varit mest relevanta för mig i just detta arbete.</p>
