A alquimia do \"adultescer\": a literatura para juventude como rito de passagem / The alchemy of adulting: literature for youngsters as rite of passage

Bardari, Sersi 15 August 2008 (has links)
Placed within the field of Comparative Studies on Literature Written in Portuguese, this work has studied how youth literature can represent the passage from adolescence to adulthood, considering the contribution that literary texts may give to the formative process of a youths subjectivity, be it through realism or symbolism. Regarding its theoretical background, the research relies on the ideas of several authors from the field of Developmental Psychology, both those whose works concentrated on investigating the ego, and those who took a further step towards theorizing on the self and the individuation process. For the purpose of demonstrating how the myth of the hero serves as narrative structure to the process of adulting, a comparative study has been undertaken between O relógio do mundo, by the Brazilian author Lino de Albergaria, and Aventuras de João Sem Medo: panfleto mágico em forma de romance, a classic work from Portuguese literature by José Gomes Ferreira. Such works, built upon invariable elements of the marvelous structure, reveal that reaching maturity, in terms of its psychic nature, is a universal and timeless process, nonetheless, the way it is expressed in the world is directly connected to the culture of each specific time and place.

Hermansson, Eva January 2008 (has links)

Social workers' conceptualizations of spirituality as lived experience in professional practice

Lwanga, Kasekende S., Christine 27 September 2016 (has links)
This doctoral study explores social workers’ shared understandings of spirituality as lived experience in their personal lives and professional practice. It examines Canadian social workers’ shared conceptualizations of spirituality as lived experience, what it entails, its role and purpose (why), and how it informs professional practice. Data collection involved three steps: a national publicity led to 24 completed self-screening questionnaires (SSQ); 14 in-depth interviews conducted through constructivist grounded theory’s theoretical sampling and; the preliminary findings were validated by the 24 SSQ participants. This study generated two key findings. The central concepts category of the conceptual schema of spirituality as lived experience emerged as Transcendent Life Energy (TLE) as Unconditional Love (UL) in Transformative Relationships (TR) With Self (WS) in Support of Wellbeing (SW)- i.e. TLE-UL-TR-WS-SW. Second, the conceptual schema analyzed through Self as body-mind-emotions-spirit-social (B-M-E-S-S) being—the social work practitioners—illuminated that spirituality as lived experience is about inherent, interconnected, transformative relationships that involve individuation as a life-long process that support healing, development of personal values, growth, and wellbeing in participants’ lives, their clients’ and social life. These findings unveiled interrelated discoveries of significance in social work practice. The wellbeing of Self is inherently interconnected with practitioners’ professional practice, their clients’ and others’ wellbeing. This confirmation is consistent with the concerns about the use of Self in countertransference and religion/culture. However, the personal values that participants developed through the conceptual schema were consistent with human rights and social work values; they included: respect for inherent dignity and worth of persons, self-determination, personal and professional integrity, do no harm, and social justice. Participants’ process of developing personal values exposed a distinction between beliefs and values acquired through socialization and those developed through the conceptual schema. These findings illuminate the function of social work as catalyst for transformative relationships and clarify the role of individuation as directly related to wellbeing, in the midst of cultural and embodied hegemony. Furthermore, the findings illuminate how, why, and what spirituality as lived experience entails and; highlight the multidisciplinary nature of social work practice and theory as inherently interconnected, encompassing human, natural, and social sciences. / October 2016

Poslední obrazy / Last Paintings

Šiklová, Lucie January 2018 (has links)
The dissertation thesis Last Paintings deals with the issue of the last works of the authors at the end of the work. This question represents a complexly unexplored topic in the field of Czech art history. Last paintings are often so different from the previous work. So they may in specific cases give rise to a discussion: Have we include them or better give them to brackets in the artist's work as an excess and not too much deal with? Rather the second alternative is happening. In a wide range of possible focus, the work focuses on last works of modern and contemporary art history. Because such a group or category of art within the Czech art history has not yet been considered, it focus on Czech authorship. The selected iconic world's last works are presented for comparison at the end in a quick overview. Given the topic of the departure of a man from this world, tis work outlines the cultural anthropological bases, their symbolism, it reflects the iconography of last paintings. It offers options for categories, which appear to be diversified, permeating, and beeing rather as auxiliary matter. The main weight of the work is based on selected case studies of individual authors. On the basis of case studies with the implied support of analytical psychology, the last paintings appear as a guide to...

Miroir familial et agirs sexuels violents d'adolescents : intérêt d'une clinique évaluative / Familial mirror and teen violent sexual acting : interest of evaluative clinic

Bernard, Alexandra 04 November 2016 (has links)
It is commonly recognized by psychodynamic model clinicians, who undertook intrapsychic exploration approaches, that a teenager responsible of violent sexual acts experiences a paradoxal psyche redevelopment of his links towards his parent figures and a blockade of his separation-individuation process. There is no research focusing on easing or inhibitor factors of the separation-individuation process of these teenagers, whereas the violent sexual acting is meant to belong to a development continuum, specific to the puberty period. There might be then a need to lead the problematic further. One factor that has a great influence on the separation-individuation process during puberty has not been much investigated until now: it is the unconscious psyche capacity of the family group to offer a space of separation-individuation during this development phase. The hypothesis of this research is that the blockade these teenagers suffer from is related to a greater difficulty of the family group those teenagers belong to, to achieve on its part this separation psyche work which it is responsible for, during this development phase. Thanks to the familial psychoanalytic and psychodynamic concepts of “Familial Depressive Position” (Roman, 1999), “Familial Mirror” (Cuynet, 2001, after our proposition for puberty, Bernard, 2016) and “Unconscious Image of the Familial Body” (Cuynet, 2005, 2010) we have created a clinical device to evaluate this particular dimension of the separation inside the family group. This device includes semi-structured interviews with family projective tests such as “The Familial Projective Genography” (Cuynet, 2001) and “The Dreamhouse Drawing Test” (Cuynet, 2005).This evaluation device has been tested and the separation dimension has been evaluated thanks to interviews with teenagers concerned by this situation in their family. The result of this research through in-depth case studies brought to light the interest of such a device for the study of the separation dimension but also to set up extended hypotheses about the comprehension of the problematic and the acting of the teenagers taking part to the device. The analyses of all the case studies show the difficulty the family group has to offer a differentiation space that is however necessary for the teenager during this period. Those analyses are then in favor of the validation of the hypothesis. Taking into account the state of the familial depressive position of the group and the familial mirror thus constituted and applying them, could be factors considered as therapeutic solutions to enable the psyche evolution of those teenagers. They could also represent a useful working basis in the fight against the transgenerational transmission that is frequently observed with this problematic.
