Although it is understood that is it aims at him/it to discuss the maintainable development, looking for to reinforce the conscience for better relationship man/nature, it is verified to be of essential importance that the planning and accomplishment of the event, once the same brings great movement to the municipal district, demonstrate concern with the preservation of the environment, and of the cultural goods, for the which it was granted to the city the title of the humanity's cultural patrimony. Of the point of view of the environmental sustentantabilidade, the research search to identify the local development it is ruled in a maintainable tourism, being considered that the area represents great tourist attractiveness in the State, especially, when of the accomplishment of the event. The verification of the proportionate tourist phenomenon for the accomplishment of the it is oportunizou the elaboration of a diagnosis of the current situation. In that procedure they were identified administration problems, evidencing the need to evaluate the planning conduct and accomplishment of that event as well as the local involvement to configure an efficient maintainable development. / Este estudo busca analisar o Festival Internacional de Cinema e Vídeo Ambiental (FICA), especificamente os impactos sócio-ambientais dele advindos para a comunidade local da Cidade de Goiás, sede do evento. Embora se compreenda que o FICA objetive discutir o desenvolvimento sustentável, buscando reforçar a consciência para melhor relação homem/natureza, verifica-se ser de importância fundamental que o seu planejamento e realização, uma vez que o mesmo traz grande movimentação ao município, demonstre preocupação com a preservação do meio ambiente, e dos bens culturais, pelos quais se concedeu à cidade o título de patrimônio cultural da humanidade. Do ponto de vista da sustentantabilidade ambiental, a pesquisa busca identificar se o desenvolvimento local pauta-se em um turismo sustentável, considerando-se que a região representa grande atratividade turística no Estado, em especial, quando da realização do evento. A verificação do fenômeno turístico proporcionado pela realização do FICA oportunizou a elaboração de um diagnóstico da atual situação. Nesse procedimento foram identificados problemas de gestão, evidenciando a necessidade de se avaliar a conduta de planejamento e realização do Festival, bem como o envolvimento local para se configurar um desenvolvimento sustentável eficiente.

No desenvolvimento deste trabalho foram analisados conceitos e propostas visando evidenciar a possibilidade de mudanças tecnológicas para favorecer o crescimento sócio-econômico da região do nordeste do Brasil. Sobre ela ainda paira um conceito pré-estabelecido: trata-se de região sem possibilidade de prover suas próprias necessidades. É preciso reverter esta situação com a melhoria das condições de vida dos habitantes do sertão nordestino por meio da implementação das idéias como as relacionadas ao reflorestamento e ao desenvolvimento sustentável. A presente proposta tem como foco a utilização das espécies de madeiras do nordeste, abrangendo as que resistem à prolongada estiagem da região. São sugeridos os procedimentos para a fabricação de chapas de partículas com matéria prima das espécies: Angico (Anadenanthera macrocarpa), Algaroba (Prosopis juliflora) e Jurema Preta (Mimosa tenuiflora), todas freqüentes na região nordeste do Brasil. Também são apresentados os resultados das propriedades físicas e mecânicas: densidade, inchamento, absorção, intemperismo artificial, resistência à tração paralela às faces; módulo de ruptura, limite de proporcionalidade e módulo de elasticidade na flexão estática, e arrancamento de parafusos. Os ensaios foram realizados segundo as recomendações do documento normativo 1037:1996, da ASTM. Os resultados foram comparados com as propriedades das chapas usualmente comercializadas, obtendo-se valores altamente satisfatórios. / In the development of this work, concepts were analyzed and proposed seeking to evidence the possibility of technological changes for the socio-economic growth of the Brazilian northeast region. It still hovers a pré-established concept about Brazilian northeast: it is treated as an area without possibility of providing its own needs. It is necessary to revert this situation with the improvement of its life conditions through the execution of the ideas as the related to the reforestation and to the maintainable development. The present proposal has as focus the use of northeast wood species, embracing the ones that resist prolonged drought of the area. Procedures are suggested to the production of particleboard with the species: Angico (Anadenanthera macrocarpa), Algaroba (Prosopis juliflora) and Juremapreta (Mimosa tenuiflora), all frequent in the northeast area of Brazil. The results of the physical and mechanical properties are also presented: density, thickness swelling, absorption, artificial weathering, natural weathering, tension parallel to surface, tension perpendicular to surface, modulus of rupture, proportionality limit and modulus of elasticity in the static bending, and nail-head withdrawal test. The rehearsals were accomplished according to the recommendations of the normative document: 1037/1996, ASTM. The results were compared with the properties of the usually marketed boards, and high satisfactory values were obtained.

Therefore, it got data along with the Office of Tourism of the Municipal district of Natal , the Office of Tourism of RN and the cadasters of the firms of the lodging means in the district of Ponta Negra. In after research of field, it verified the enterprises that now develop lodging activities in that quarter in Ponta Negra. It applied Instrument of research which it was elaborated based on the set of indicators of social responsibility of Ethos Institute, structured with binary questions and some open ones. It shows as results which actions the investigated companies develop. Confronting these results with researched theoretical referencial, it points an intermediate degree of socially responsible actions. Comparing with the evaluation accomplished by Ethos Institute, the investigated firms are in incipient condition, with punctual actions, however, they already present the awakening about this thematic / Tem como objetivo investigar e analisar as estrat?gias desenvolvidas por empresas de meios de hospedagem com fins de responsabilidade social no Rio Grande do Norte (RN). Para tanto, levantou dados junto ? Secretaria de Turismo do Munic?pio de Natal, ? Secretaria de Turismo do RN e aos cadastros das empresas dos meios de hospedagem no bairro de Ponta Negra. Em pesquisa de campo posterior, averiguou as empresas que atualmente desenvolvem atividades de hospedagem naquele bairro. Aplicou Instrumento da Pesquisa elaborado com base no conjunto de indicadores de responsabilidade social do Instituto Ethos, estruturado com perguntas bin?rias e algumas abertas. Com o objetivo de demonstrar como estas ações estão produzindo mudanças sociais, econômicas e ambientais nas localidades onde estão sendo aplicadas, são apresentados exemplos dessas ações em alguns países e também em cidades próximas à área de estudo. Como objetivo principal, dá-se ênfase à análise dos aspectos ambientais urbanos da cidade de Santa Gertrudes - SP, e, buscando fazer um diagnóstico local, trabalham-se os resultados dos questionários aplicados junto à população urbana da cidade. Com o diagnóstico em mãos, são propostas estratégias sustentáveis para o alcance da qualidade ambiental urbana de Santa Gertrudes, enfatizando-se a necessidade de sensibilizar e capacitar a sociedade para, futuramente, elaborar a Agenda 21 Local do município. / The present work illuminates some concepts of maintainable strategies in cities, at the same time in that analyzes as the beginnings of maintainable they are being treated in elaborated planning strategies and applied in the world and in the Brazilian Calendars 21 Places. With the objective of demonstrating as these actions are producing social, economic changes and you set at the places where they are being applied, examples of those actions they are presented in some countries and also in close cities to the study area. As main objective, gives him emphasis to the analysis of the urban environmental aspects of Santa Gertrudes's city - SP, and, looking for to do a local diagnosis, they are worked the results of the applied questionnaires close to the urban population of the city. With the diagnosis in hands, maintainable strategies are proposed for the reach of Santa Gertrudes's urban environmental quality, being emphasized the need to sensitize and to qualify the society for, to elaborate the Local Calendar 21 of the municipal district.

Tends as central objective to structure the Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar - PESM to assist the objectives of Environmental Preservation of the Atlantic Forest, PPMA, for the area of Picinguaba, adds this aim at the preservation of the culture traditional inhabitant of the seaside, besides the improvement of the conditions of that community's life, because her existence enlarged the possibilities of environmental preservation of the area and it would impede her destruction. With this goal, makes use of a policy of sustainable development that can encompass both goals. In that sense, this investigation tries to align a conductive thread that marks the evolution of the concepts in economy towards the "new parameters" and of the "new rights" and consider them as base of the present study, tends in view if treats of a differentiated population and that was out of the market / Este trabalho tem por objetivo investigar se a implantação do Projeto de Preservação Ambiental PPMA trouxe melhora às condições de vida da população de Picinguaba. Tendo como objetivo central estruturar o Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar - PESM para atender os objetivos de preservação ambiental da Mata Atlântica, o PPMA, para a região de Picinguaba, adiciona a este objetivo a preservação da cultura tradicional caiçara, além da melhora das condições de vida dessa comunidade, pois sua existência ampliava as possibilidades de preservação ambiental da região e impediria sua destruição. Com esse desiderato, lança mão de uma política de desenvolvimento sustentado que possa abarcar ambos objetivos. Nesse sentido, esta investigação procura alinhar um fio condutor que marque a evolução dos conceitos em economia em direção aos novos parâmetros e dos novos direitos e os considere como base do presente estudo, tendo em vista se tratar de uma população diferenciada que se encontrava fora do mercado

O que são o desenvolvimento sustentável, seus desdobramentos teóricos e suas implicações, pode não suscitar muitas dúvidas ao investigador da academia, mas sua aplicação real vem provocando intensos debates nas muitas ciências, em razão dos temas que o cercam: quase tudo pertinente ao sistema social, para não dizer tudo. A extensão de qualquer enfrentamento a tal tema não permite grandes concessões e exceções das diversas áreas do conhecimento, sob pena de incompletude de observação, esta por si naturalmente limitada ao seu ponto cego. Assim, alguns pontos latentes para o desenvolvimento sustentável foram alinhados nos respectivos capítulos, de maneira que, no último, o somatório de revisões redunda num representativo avanço. A iniciar, e por meio do resgate histórico crítico, buscou-se a melhor definição para o desenvolvimento sustentável na contemporaneidade. Esta é observada em veias reflexivas na sequência, para contextualização do leitor nesta modernidade avançada. O processo produtivo de consumo, com ênfase para este último, detém toda a atenção a seguir, permitindo o conhecimento das engrenagens econômicas motivacionais. Dando continuação, aborda-se o desenvolvimento sustentável sob o prisma do sistema jurídico brasileiro, no qual a matriz do direito entra em discussão.
