The thesis deals with a design of a highway bridge with multiple spans. The bridge is constructed for highway D1 and goes across the river Bečva close to the city Přerov. Two different solutions were carried out from which a solution with subsequently prestressed box girder was chosen. Static model and load actions were modelled in program Scia Engineer 2016.0. Design checks were done manually according to corresponding Eurocodes. Load actions from wind, uneven support settling and horizontal actions from transit were neglecte.

This diploma thesis aims to design a structure of pedestrian bridge over the Svratka river. To make a preliminary study of possible bridging, three different outlines were drafted. The cable-stayed variant was selected for further analysis. Two towers, inclined in both their longitudinal and transverse direction, support a cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete deck through stay cables anchored in the tower and the deck. After determining the desired initial state, a finite element analysis was carried out using the Ansys software. The capacity of all main load-bearing elements was checked so it meets the ULS and SLS design criteria in accordance with EN 1992 codes.

The subject of diploma thesis is the design of the grinder over river Bebrava. The maintopic is static calculation of supporting construction of three span structure. Three varianties were executed, from these varianties was chosen pre-stressed girder bridge. The lenght of the spans is 23+29+23 m. Static model and effect of loading are solved in software SciaEngeneer 15.1. All calculations were performed in accordance with Eurokode.

The aim of the work was the usage of the Building Information Modelling system to ensure the complete building-up, including the working part of the line constructions. In the first part of my thesis I was dealing with the costs of the total life of the line construction, the line construction life-cycle, with the difference between the Building Information Modelling model and traditional projecting, with the participators participants of the Building Information Modelling model and which levels in the Building Information Modelling exist. In the practical part I was dealing with two levels of the Building Information Modelling designing, in which I set the total price of the building researched and then I was comparing them. In the final chapter of the thesis working expenses were set which are involved in the expenses of the total life.

The subject of this thesis is the design and assessment of the bridge across the expressway and the deep valley in section Hričovské Podhradie - Lietavská Lúčka of highway D1 in Slovakia. The box girder structure with eleven spans was chosen of three variants. For each course there is a separate structure. The design of the bridge is carried out according to limit states including consideration of the impact of construction. The assessment of the construction is carried out using the beam model. The appendix contains structural analysis, drawings and visualization of the bridge.

I deal with the road bridge near Velké Meziříčí in the thesis. The highway bridge overcomes valley 360 m long and 36 m high. For each course there is a separate super-structure. Each of the support structures converts three stripes of road transport. I do calculation of internal forces both manually and in Scia Engineer. In the thesis is drawings, showing the gradual construction, diagram of prestressing and reinforcement.

This dissertation thesis focuses on the philosophical aspects of the relationship of Man toward the city. The main methods of the work are interpretation of texts connected with the city and a philosophically inspired analysis of the bond of Man with the city as a space and time constructed, inhabited and shared by humans, and with its experienced phenomena. First of all it presents the method by which the theme of the city has been dealt with by scholars from the field of philosophy and other social sciences. We find the theme of the city in the works of a whole range of philosophers: For example, it served J. A. Comenius as a symbol of human situation in life, Michel Foucault as a point of departure for his political-philosophical analysis of power, and Emmanuel Lévinas for his discourse on culpability, punishment and responsibility. In order to understand the phenomenon of the city, observations from sociologists, architects, town planners and historians of architecture are also important. Terrestrial plants and insects account for the majority of the Earth's biodiversity today, and almost half of all insect species are herbivores. Thus, insects and plants share ancient associations date back for more than 400 million years. However, investigation of their interactions stands largely at the beginning in Western Europe. Nearly 4300 plant remains showing various kinds of feeding damages are available for the present study. These trace fossils are classified as so-called functional feeding-groups supply an outstanding example of the complexity, the structure and the changes of terrestrial ecosystems, are not well known during this interval. In Europe, the Neogene is characterized by palaeogeographic re- organization due to the collision of the African with the Eurasian plates. The subject of this diploma thesis is the structural design of a railway bridge over river Dyje based on materials given by my supervisor. The tied arch bridge with prestressed concrete girder is chosen for the structural check. The structural assesment is focused on prestressed concrete girder and basic calculations are made to check steel arch and hangers as well. Eigenvalue analysis provides dynamic properties of this structure. Appendices contain Structural design report, drawings including Construction stages scheme and visualization.
