A educação não-formal como acontecimento / The non formal education as event

Garcia, Valeria Aroeira, 1970- 05 June 2009 (has links)
Orientador: Olga Rodrigues de Moraes von Simson / Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Educação / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-14T12:46:14Z (GMT). / Abstract: This doctoral thesis intends to analyze the creation of the concept of non formal education, starting from the deleuzian philosophy, which encompasses the creation of a concept together with its movements and its re-creations. Under this perspective, we defend the idea of nonformal education as na autonomous concept, with its particular makings and a proper field, and a specific logic of functioning. Through the supporting bibliography, which considered foreigners authors, and specially Spanish, North American and Brazilian authors, the historic trajectory of the concept of nonformal education is presented, both in international contexts as in the Brazilian context. The nonformal education is analyzed from the point of view of the public policies targeting children, adolescents, and young adult students, and under such context, we consider its relationship with the social education. We also do a short presentation and discussion on the trajectory of the social education in Brazil. We analyzed three educational institutions of nonformal character in the region of the city of Campinas (State of São Paulo), one of them having a religious origin, another related to the public administration, and the third one having a community character. From the field research, the conceptions of the educators from these institutions were considered as the elements for the creation of concept of nonformal education. We also considered the ideas publicized through the mass media respect to the makings - activities related to nonformal education, as well as the way the communication channels talk about this field. In this way, the present research was concerned in picturing and understanding the nonformal education not as a discovered field, not as a static concept, but instead, as a concept in movement, which is being created and re-created in different moments and different places. With that in mind, we realize that the concept of non-formal education assumes different forms, depending on the country and depending on the period we are focusing. / Doutorado / Ciencias Sociais na Educação / Doutor em Educação

Compensation for individual roads– Outsidezoning / Ersättning för enskilda vägar – Utanfördetaljplan

Haräng, Johanna, Lindgren, Pernilla January 2013 (has links)
A driveway is needed to get to and from a property. Sometimes there are no opportunities to locate the driveway on the own property. One possibility is to use someone else´s land for locating a driveway in exchange for compensation. The purpose of this study was to examine how the compensation is determined for both long and short driveways outside zoning by doing a case study and compare the result with the various reimbursement rules. The work also addresses the different methods of profit distribution and how they are applied in practice. The conclusion from the case study is that the average value principle is used the most because it is expected to be similar to the case in “normal voluntary agreement”, which is the purpose with the reimbursement rules. To make the reimbursement correspond with the value decrease of the waiver property, adjustments are made on the average value in different ways. The cadastral files to the case study did not match the purpose completely. Therefore, the result can be questioned, but another conclusion drawn from the case study is that in the cadastral files no one discusses about the size of the driveway. It may be that the size of the road is not considered to be a problem or that there is a well-tested method to solve this problem.

Persson, Linnéa, Eklöv, Felicia January 2020 (has links)
Men även med hjälp av begreppet outside and inside the flow.

Exposure to English outside the Classroom

MacLeod, Fraser, Larsson, Pia January 2011 (has links)
This study attempts to outline the exposure to English language students between the ages of 14 and 16 experience in Swedish schools. Due to the relatively small scope of our study we have limited our parameters and concentrated on two schools with predominantly Swedish pupils. The aim was to establish the nature of English influence on teenagers in Swedish schools and then to examine whether this naturally occurring acquisition of knowledge is utilized in the more formal language learning environment of the classroom. We used a survey to get an overview of our topic and to help us establish patterns and trends of English language exposure amongst our target students. In order to further analyze our topic we conducted two group interviews. Our research shows that English has a great influence on Swedish children though perhaps not as much as we had first anticipated. While receptive acquisition is high, chances to actively produce the language remain low. It is also noted that while different types of English media is in fact utilized in the classroom, it may not be relevant or interesting to the students.

Co-opted boards and voluntary disclosure

Ha Yoon Yee (11205408) 29 July 2021 (has links)

This study examines whether directors appointed after a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) assumed office (“co-opted” directors) affect corporate voluntary disclosure. I find evidence that firms issue management earnings forecasts less frequently when directors are co-opted. These results hold even when these directors are considered independent by regulatory definitions. Cross-sectional tests indicate that my results are stronger when firms disclose bad news, provide higher pay to co-opted directors, CEOs have greater ability to withhold disclosure, and co-opt directors early in the CEO’s tenure. I use NASDAQ/NYSE listing requirements as an exogenous shock to board co-option and find that director co-option has a causal link to less voluntary disclosure. I further show that the effect was robust to the effect of CEOs’ disclosure preferences and experience inside the firm. This study suggests that boards that appear independent using the conventional measures may fail to elicit adequate voluntary disclosure to monitor managers.
