Based on internal company data Whirlpool CR, spol. s r. o. is provided the analysis of the marketing mix. The analysis of range and recommendations for its optimization are performed with the Boston Consulting Group matrix.

The first chapter builds up a theoretical framework for the research part of the thesis. It reviews the concepts of competitiveness, Michael Porter´s diamond, and the theory of human capital. The second chapter examines trends and challenges of China´s competitive advantage according to Michael Porter´s diamond model. The third chapter evaluates the development of China´s human capital, its cultivation, current state, and surveys the generation Y´s attitudes to human capital.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to carry out external and internal analysis of the firm according to selected analytic methods mentioned below. The fractional aim of this thesis is to find out what the preferences of customers are like in present times, when, in order with the needs of the firm, and concurrently with respect to the main aim of this diploma thesis, the research question was defined. On the basis of results of the questionnaire survey, I am able to answer this question. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical-methodological part and application part. The theoretical-methodological part is dedicated to the basic concepts of strategic management, and it also represents characteristics of selected methods of strategic analysis and questionnaire survey. In the application part, there are applied theoretical findings, and there is also represented the analysis of external and internal surrounding of the firm. From the analyzes of external surrounding, there were used PEST, the method 4C, analysis of the sector and competitive environment, questionnaire survey and value curve. In order to research the internal environment of the firm, there was used the analysis of internal sources. Results of particular analyzes were summarized in the SWOT analysis, which serves as a background for particular strategic recommendations of the firm. On the basis of the results of the questionnaire survey and value curve, there was established recommendation what direction the optics should take, and how the company should improve the sales of products and services. Other applied methods were the interview and the analysis of documents. Further off, there were applied mathematic-statistic methods, most of all absolute and relative frequency, cross analyzes, median. All collected information and results of the survey were used for processing of the theme of this diploma thesis. I do not have many comments after evaluation of results of the survey and SWOT analysis. But I would still suggest several minor adjustments or changes. Particular recommendation and suggestion of possible changes may contribute to the successful achievement of targets established by the firm, so it would be possible to keep steady clientele, which could be eventually extended. Outputs of the analysis and final recommendation are fully applicable during decision-making carried by the optics management.

Pour longtemps, les politiques de protection de l’environnement ont été accusées d’être la cause d’importantes délocalisations, entraînant le risque du « dumping environnemental » et de ce fait l’apparition du phénomène de « havre de pollution ». C’est cette théorie que nous contesterons dans cette thèse en démontrant que même si elle est exacte dans des cas exceptionnels, elle ne l’est plus dans la plupart des cas et c’est à cause de plusieurs facteurs et mécanismes qui ont rapport avec la nature des politiques environnementales, les structures du marché et la composition interne des entreprises. Nous allons étudier les facteurs encourageant les firmes multinationales à se délocaliser. Ensuite nous allons démontrer l’impact de ces facteurs sur la concentration des industries polluantes et donc sur l’apparition du phénomène de « havre de pollution » (Chapitre 1). Puis nous expliquerons l’inefficacité des interventions publiques de résoudre les problèmes environnementaux et la nécessité de la RSE (responsabilité sociale des entreprises) comme condition de réussite des politiques environnementales (Chapitre 2). Enfin, nous contesterons l’existence de « havre de pollution » et nous vérifierons que la protection de l’environnement et la concurrence économique peuvent se compléter et se converger d’une façon que l’une soit la condition de la réussite de l’autre (Chapitre 3). / For a long time, the policies of environmental protection were accused of being the cause of important relocations, entailing the risk of the « environmental dumping » and the appearance of the phenomenon of the « pollution haven ». It is this theory that we will take issue in this thesis by demonstrating that even it is exact in exceptional cases, it is not any more in most of the cases and it is because of several mechanisms which have relation with the nature of environmental policies, the structures of the market and the intern composition of companies. We are going to study factors encouraging multinationals to relocate. In addition, we are going to demonstrate the impact of these factors on the concentration of the polluting industries and consequently on the appearance of the phenomenon of « pollution haven » (Chapter 1). Then we will explain the ineffectiveness of the public interventions to resolve the environmental issues and the necessity of the social responsibility of companies as condition of success of environmental policies (Chapter 2). Finally, we will contradict the existence of « pollution haven » and we will verify that the environmental protection and the economic competition can converge in a way that the one be the condition of the success of the other (Chapter 3).

The main purpose of this report is to analyse and suggest suitable implementation of information system Justimio, which would be used by Justmighty, a company operataning on the Czech digital market, mainly oriented on internet marketing. The master thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on the analyse of the theoretical knowledge and its related possibilities. Due to the usage of professional methods, the current situation can be analysed and the web applications position in the environment of the closest competitors can be recorded. In second chapter, a focus is also given to the company Justmighty, for which the application is made for. A company’s ability to implement this application is checked by using a basic analytical methods, whereas also can be analysed how this application would be helpful, when comes to the competitors and current market. The last part is focused on possible solutions and implementation of information system Justimio.
