This thesis aims on care for child with autism in family. First part is about psychological aspects and sums up klasification autistic disorder, diagnosis and importance of way how is diagnosis told to parents of disabled child. Furthermore this part charakterizes influence caring for child with autism on psychologic health of parents, discuses risks and protective factors which are important in overcoming problems that are connected with this situation. Second part describes social aspects which may influence decesion making of parents about way of caring for child with autism. There are explained opinions of public and church. Special attention is placed on families needs caring for child with autism. Third part discuses parental dilema in decesion about way of how to manage care for their child with autism and exlains some ethical issues of these decesions. There are a lot of factors determinating decesions of parents and the same factors can influence different families in completly different ways. If we sum up theoretical informations and practical experiences we can say that decesion of parents about care for their child cannot be objectively judged, it can be only accepted.

Hyperactivity and attention deficit disorder belong to very complicated disorders which should be considered in a global view. At present no general or miracle medicine can be used. However, specific learning disabilities and ADHD are focused on very intensively at basic schools in the Czech Republic. Children´s aggressiveness, hyperactivity and difficulties in raising are discussed very often. No programme or method can substitute a nice family life, loving parental care and good relations in the family. However, many cases of destroying a contended family life caused by child´s disorders or disharmony are reported. Even the best family is not expected to be able to bring up a hyperactive child by itself. The dissertation is focused on children who suffer from functional disorder called ADHD syndrom. First part of the work is divided into chapters which detail ADHD terminology, its historical development, symptoms, probable causes, diagnostics and ways of dealing with it in general. Further chapters analyse specific learning disabilities which are closely related to ADHD. The goal of the work consists in emphasising importance of self-help societies and civic associations at local and national dimensions. Next part concerns with the study on current situation of the care and service provided for ADHD children and their families in the region of Česká Lípa.Children´s parents were asked to fill in the questionnaire in order to find out their opinions and needs, and if they are satisfied with services provided for their children. They were also informed about the self-help societies and civic associations and ways of establishing local ones. The work should draw attention to the disorders mentioned above and most of all emphasise the importance of civil sector which plays a significant role in dealing with these problems. The author would also like to refer to the necessity of improving lives of these childrens and their close relatives.

Memory changes or disorders are typical for old age. The ability to absorb new information, to store it in memory and the subsequent information processing decline in old age. The dividing line between memory impairment and dementia is very vague. Czech Alzheimer Society deals with people affected by dementia. The organisation was launched in June 2008 under a project called Days of memory, project of the early memory disorders detection promotion. The practical part of my thesis deals with the project Days of memory. The first goal of the practical part is to find the reasons why clients suffering from memory disorders seek help at the ČALS contact point {--} the Centre for the Elderly PATUP in ZSF JU. The second aim of the practical part is to compare experiences of the ČALS contact point workers who are involved in the Project of the early memory disorders detection promotion, "Days of Memory", in memory scanning. The data required for the practical part of the thesis were obtained by a combination of a qualitative and quantitative research.

The diploma thesis deals with the issues concerning implementation of the RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) method on large power installations (boilers and their accessories) with the use of the new AMST software tool in the conditions of a particular energy company.

Diploma the 'is deals wi th the research of effect of biofeedback in the form of electrotactile stimulation of tongue in the patients with balance disorders eaused by the cerebellar lesion. For the therapeutic program 4 patients with cerebellar ataxia at the age of38 - 74 years were chosen. Subjects have partieipated in the therapeutic program with the application of biofeedback, they were training postural stability while visual control was excluded and they were using electrotacti le signal on the tongue for orientation. I used neurological tests BESTest and Dynamic Oait Index, questionnaire The Activities- Specific Balance Confidence (ABC) Scale, Dizziness I Tandicap Inventory (D ll) a Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), and examination by stati posturography for evaluation of postural stability in the patients. I supposed that therapy by biofeedback in the form of electrotactile stimulation of tongue improves postural stability in the patients with balance disorders caused by cerebellar lesion. In this Master's thesis entitled "Effectiveness Evaluation of Sfumato Metod of Initial Reading in Prevention of Dyslexia" we tried to find out, whether application of a certain teaching method of an initial reading eliminates presence of dyslexia. Thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part characterizes theoretical basis in the area of specific learning disabilities and education of initial reading with special focus on dyslexia issues and Sfumato Method of Initial Reading. The practical part is based on interviews and questionnaire surveys, which provides us possibility to compare methods of education of initial reading and evaluate them in context of development of specific learning disability - dyslexia. The thesis aims to evaluate of selected methods of education of initial reading in relation to prevention of specific disability of reading learning - dyslexia.

Diploma thesis "Development of musicality in children with specific learning disabilities" will be focused on children in elementary school age with diagnosis specific learning disabilities. The thesis is divided into two parts - a theoretical one and a practical one. The theoretic part includes information about specific leasing disabilities and about basic musical term. Also, there is a chapter about the psychomotor development. The practical part involves information about three children with specific leasing disabilities, be specific two boys and one girl at the similar age.This work will be find out level of musical skills in children with specific learning disabilities and compare their level of musical skills with intact children In second part of this thesis will be particular suggestions and procedure how to develop musicality in children with specific learning disabilities.

The thesis is focused on problems of bullied pupils and teachers in elementary schools. The theoretical part describes the matter of bullied pupils and teachers. The terms like bullying and cyber bullying are explained. The thesis also deals with main signals, phases and forms of bullying. It defines main actors of bullying, their relations and the consequences which bullying causes. The thesis also deals with the characteristic of bullying and its preventing. The practical part is made by the research which is focused on the issue of bullying in children collective and bullying teachers. The research instruments were questionnaires about bullying, their goals were to find out the occurence of bullying between the pupils and the teachers. The results proved that the bullying occures in a third of the pupils who were also able to describe how and how often they are hurt. It was also proved that the bullying is such an unpleasant topic between teachers that they are not able to accept its existence and that it is very problematic to find the way to solve it. The results are processed both in written form and graphic form in wiev of the theoretic knowledge from the first part.

Title: Sexuality of people with mental disability and autism spectrum disorders in residential facilities in South Bohemia Author: Bc. Veronika Beránková Supervisor: Doc. PhDr. Jan Šiška, Ph.D. ABSTRACT This thesis solves the attitude of the sexuality of people with mental disability and autism spectrum disorders in residential facilities in South Bohemia. We specifically wonder, if there is any work with sexuality and in which way. Chosen research problems were solved during an interview with the employees of the facility whoch provides residential services. Then we did an analysis of the interview by coding and categorization of answers. In the final stage, emerged from the analysis of the interviews main interests of respondents and their attitudes to the sexuality topic. We created a summary which shows how staff work with sexuality of clients with mental disability and autism spectrum disorders and which are their individual attitudes. The benefit of this thesis is effort of explanation our topic to the general public and to the facilities providing residential social services itself. The thesis focuses on the issue of self-esteem in clients diagnosed with anxiety disorders. While this condition belongs to the most common mental illnesses, the role of the patient's self-esteem has not been sufficiently researched. The aim of the thesis is to contribute to a better understanding of the relation between anxiety and self-esteem, and to examine whether clients with so called Other Anxiety Disorder manifest specific differences in their level of self-esteem. In the theoretical part we summarize the key findings in the domain of anxiety disorder research; we further compare the different psychological approaches to the issue of self-esteem. There is a particular focus on authors who explore the possible causes and features of self-esteem deviations in patients with anxiety disorders, and who propose hypotheses regarding the nature and origins of this linkage. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the explicit and implicit self-esteem level in clients with anxiety disorder. For the purpose of measuring explicit self-esteem we have used foreign questionnaires, namely the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and the SLSC-R.
