The thesis is devoted to discrimination in the labor market with the stress on the gender pay gap. The aim of the thesis is to assess the status of women in the Czech labor market with respect to different social categories and the analysis of wage differences in different job categories and types of jobs. The main focus of the text is a summary of various theoretical assumptions and concepts that are used to explain discrimination against women and finding the links with the recent demographic data. The text results in analysis of the above mentioned models it terms of their application to explain gender discrimination in the Czech Republic. The thesis results in the answer to the question whether discrimination in the labor market represents major social problem in the Czech Republic. At the end of this text various measures that, in my opinion, could lead to solution of discrimination against women in the labor market are described.

The thesis will focus on family in the area of its significance for the society and particularly the compatibility between family life and career will be investigated. The changes in family coexistence and disadvantageous demographic factors determining the condition of families in the Czech Republic will be brought out for closer comprehension of the problems. Facilitation of smooth concurrency of professional realization and parenting is the crucial question of the present economies. The thesis will introduce contemporary family in the society, its significance and economic condition. It will also try to explain the reasons of demographic changes and their impact on the forms of contemporary Czech households. To follow up this analysis there will be briefly described propositions rising from the era of former regime. Consecutively the thesis will show contemporary system of career compatibility and demonstrate how much this way is used in reality by employers and employees who are taking care of one minor unprovided child at least. Analysis of suggested National conception of support for families with children will follow together with economic impacts on Czech society. No solution is nowadays accepted unanimously by all participants and that is why it is very important to find a compromise acceptable for all.

The aim of this thesis is analyze employee satisfaction in Jindřichův Hradec Hospital, a.s. by using a questionnaire inquiry. Overall, the thesis is divided into four parts, which are the introduction, theoretical part, practical part and conclusion. The thesis begins with an introduction, which describes the structure of the thesis, the reason for selecting the theme and the treatment process. The theoretical part is divided into five chapters, where is described human resource management in the context of disciplines such as psychology and sociology, also mentions the company culture, motivation, employee evaluation system and possibility research of their satisfaction. The practical part is especially concentrated on the questionnaires evaluation and consists of two chapters. The first chapter is focused on a brief description of the organization, in the second chapter is made the questionnaire evaluation. This graduation thesis is focused on the formation and development of unemployment in the present Czech territory. Emphsis is placed on areas most affected by unemployment, it is in Moravskoslezský, Karlovarský and Ústecký region. The theoretical section explores the reasons for high unemployment in these regions. In the practical part is solved the interrelationship between unemployment and population strukture by sex, age and education.

Graduation thesis elaborates on basic principles of forex and interest rate hedge and its fundamental elements as characteristics and types of hedging and focuses on use of derivatives and their combinations. Second part presents and analyzes particular examples of forex and interest rate hedge instruments practically used in world of financial markets, enlighten their structure and construction and states basic principles of their behaviour in accordance with different scenarios of forex and interest rates trends.

The purpose of this thesis is to describe the elements of stylization and the cameraman's procedures, especially for documentary film creation. A further aim is to explain the concept of virtual reality and to provide a description of what this term means today. Finally, this thesis considers VR as a possible upcoming medium and describes the individual points of production of a project, especially from the point of view of the cameraman.

Thesis deals with conscious management of expressivity on stage. Firstly the author of the thesis name basic issues related to psychical and physical tension during performance, secondly the author defines basic terminology related to tention and jitter. The core of this work is application of knowledge acquired during studies at DAMU, during first experiences of performances in front of audience during studies and also acquired from first experiences from professional environment of theatre and film. The author also analyzes her personal themes related to her own personality as possible obstacles in order to do acting profession.

Forced Labour in the Czech Republic Abstract The submitted dissertation thesis examines so far neglected issue of forced labour in the Czech Republic in its complexity, i.e. both its lawful (e.g. work performed by imprisoned persons) and unlawful forms. It seeks to discover whether the present law (and extra-legal regulation) on this topic is sufficient. For this purpose it examines not only the corresponding law across individual branches of law, but also its place in the historical and moral- philosophical context. In the first parts, the submitted thesis deals with the existence of free will as a precondition of considering a work freely chosen and with the existence and content of objective morality as a precondition of considering anything morally right. Special attention is dedicated to forced labour during Protectorate and communist regime in Czechoslovakia. The core parts of the submitted thesis consist of an analysis of corresponding international, European and national law. The attention shifts from first international conventions dealing with this issue adopted by International Labour Organisation to rich case law of the European Court of Human Rights and finally to Czech legal order where e.g. transfer of an employee to alternative work without his or her consent, transfer of employees' rights,...

Práce se zabývá postavením žen na trhu práce v ČR v komparaci s EU. První část diplomové práce se věnuje legislativnímu rámci rovných příležitostí mužů a žen v Evropské unii a České republice, jejich institucionálnímu zabezpečení a podává přehled o základních pojmech. Druhá kapitola se zabývá postavením žen na trhu práce v ČR a Evropské unii, kde jsou analyzovány základní ukazatele trhu práce se zaměřením na situaci žen. Další kapitola se zabývá nápravnými opatřeními a možnostmi zlepšení pozic žen na trhu práce se zaměřením na gender mainstreaming, pozitivní opatření a možnosti obrany proti diskriminaci. V poslední kapitole je analyzováno postavení žen na trhu práce ve vybraném regionu ČR.

Tato diplomová práce je komplexní intraregionální analýza okresu Jičín. Zabývá se všeobecnou charakteristikou okresu, analýzou obyvatelstva, trhem práce, místní ekonomikou a infrastrukturou. Na základě poznatků z těchto kapitol jsem vypracoval SWOT analýzu okresu Jičín, která vyjmenovává silné i slabé stránky okresu, jeho příležitosti i hrozby. SWOT analýza také poukazuje na předpoklady a bariéry dalšího rozvoje okresu.
