國民小學學校本位教學視導與教師專業成長之研究阮靜雯, Juan, Ching-Wen Unknown Date (has links)
本研究旨在探討國民小學學校本位教學視導的實施與其提升教師專業成長之意見。主要目的有:(1)藉由探討國民小學學校本位教學視導與教師專業成長之相關理論做為本研究之基礎,並可做為我國實施此制度時之參考;(2)透過問卷調查,欲瞭解我國國民小學實施學校本位教學視導的情形與意見;(3)透過問卷調查,欲瞭解國小教師對學校本位教學視導增進教師專業成長之看法;(4)探討教師個人背景變項與其對學校本位教學視導看法的關係;(5)探討教師個人背景變項與其對教師專業成長各變項間的關係;(6)綜合研究結果,提出結論與建議,俾做為日後國民小學實施學校本位教學視導、提升教師專業成長與未來進一步研究之參考。
本研究所使用的研究方法有:文獻分析法、問卷調查法、與內容分析法等。係以台灣地區各縣市之公私立國民小學為主要調查對象,包括國小校長、主任及教師。採用分層等比例隨機抽樣的方式,共計發出1000份問卷,回收666份,回收率為66.6﹪,其中有效問卷為624份。研究工具為自編之「國民小學學校本位教學視導與教師專業成長之研究」調查問卷。問卷的處理採用SPSS 8.0 for Windows套裝統計軟體,進行百分比、次數、平均數、標準差及卡方考驗等統計分析。
本研究的主要結論如下:
一、學校本位教學視導在先進國家已趨盛行發展。
二、國內推展學校本位教學視導的工作亦開始萌芽。
三、現行視導方式有待加強改進。
四、教師多認同學校本位教學視導的理念,但迫於時間限制難以配合。
五、學校本位教學視導具許多優點,應普遍推廣使之制度化。
六、學校本位教學視導是一套可促進教師專業成長的制度。
最後,研究者根據文獻探討、實施範例及本研究實證的調查結果,提出下列對教育行政機關、學校、教師、與後續相關研究的建議:
壹、對教育行政機關的建議有:一、遴選有意願之學校先行試辦;二、推動校際或社區合作,設置相關資源網站;三、定期舉辦相關研習以利推廣;四、教育行政機關應設法提高教師編制。
貳、對學校的建議有:一、校長以身作則,推展校內教學視導工作;二、學校行政單位應各方面協助以利實施;三、學校教師會亦應負起推廣觀念的責任;四、校內可成立一專門的委員會辦理實施。
參、對教師的建議:一、發展程度較高的教師可鼓勵其自我視導;二、應多鼓勵年輕、資淺的教師瞭解並參與教學視導;三、教師應具備開放與學習的態度以追求專業成長。
肆、對後續相關研究的建議有:包括在研究範圍方面(含文獻蒐集、學制、地區與研究對象等)、與對於本研究之研究工具的檢討。

Professional development for inquiry-based science education in a low stake high support environment : The French ASTEP-programLundström, Johanna January 2016 (has links)
This work examines the learning outcomes of a French professional development program for science education in primary school, ASTEP. The program is based on a partnership between a primary school teacher on one hand and a subject expert on the other. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that the subject expert is a young university student who is challenged to be assessed on his/her learning for academic credits. Compared to most other professional development programs, ASTEP displays an alternative knowledge hierarchy, it is neither top down nor bottom up, but rather a form of knowledge exchange. Data on students´ and teachers´ reflections on the collaboration were analyzed through a grounded theory approach and subsequently organized within the interconnected model of teacher professional growth (IMTPG). Although the analyses indicated significant changes in the practice of the teachers, the learners who individually seem to benefit the most were the university students. The ASTEP program appears to provide a low stake high support scaffold for the students to refine their values and beliefs about a professional life and develop a professional identity.

La presente investigación aborda la rotación laboral voluntaria, debido a que en los últimos años, esta es considerada una problemática de gran impacto en el sector hotelero, ya que genera altos costos, tanto directos como indirectos en la gestión de un hotel, así como la pérdida de conocimiento y cultura organizacional. El objetivo de este artículo es estudiar la influencia de las condiciones laborales más frecuentes sobre la decisión de rotación voluntaria del personal hotelero a mayor profundidad. Para lograr el objetivo propuesto se utilizó la metodología de revisión de literatura con un enfoque integrador, donde se realizó la búsqueda y análisis de diversas fuentes académicas relacionadas con la problemática. Los resultados muestran que las condiciones laborales en el sector hotelero a nivel mundial son inadecuadas; además, las condiciones salariales, el ambiente organizacional y las oportunidades de crecimiento profesional influyen en la decisión de rotación voluntaria del personal hotelero. Por último, se recomienda realizar estudios cuantitativos a futuro, por área de hoteles para conocer qué departamentos presentan niveles de satisfacción laboral inferior al resto y ponerles especial atención. / The following research approaches voluntary job rotation because in recent years this is considered a problem of great impact in the hotel industry due to the high costs that generates, both direct and indirect, in the management of a hotel, as well as the loss of knowledge and organizational culture. The objective of this article is to study the influence of the most frequent working conditions on the decision of voluntary rotation of hotel staff in greater depth. To achieve the proposed objective, the literature review methodology with an integrative approach was used in which the search and analysis of various academic sources related to the problem was carried out. The results show that working conditions in the hotel sector worldwide are inadequate; in addition, salary conditions, organizational environment and opportunities for professional growth influences the decision of voluntary rotation in hotel staff. Lastly, it is recommended to carry out quantitative studies in the future; by hotel area, to know which departments have lower levels of job satisfaction and pay special attention to them. / Trabajo de investigación

The diploma thesis: "Impacts of supervision on resilience of helpline workers" presents the results of case study focused on particular helpline, the case of which is the impact of supervision on workers feeling themselves comfortable with their professional roles on helpline. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the key concepts of resilience and supervision, and presents the general characteristic of helplines, the method of telephone crisis intervention and the social service of telephone crisis assistance. The empirical part of the thesis explains the context of the particular helpline which was the subject of case study. The main topic of the research is: mastering of helpline workers of their professional roles and the influence of supervision on its changes in time. The research captures the changes of perception of supervision and of its effect on helpline workers dealing with their professional roles.

Our work is focused on the period of the global COVID-19 pandemic at its beginning, specifically in the spring and autumn of 2020. It particularly features the area of Czech educational system. We aim to reflect how the pandemic and the closely related distance education in schools affected teachers' attitude towards the education process and also their mental health. In the theoretical part we aspire to define basic terms, such as the teacher's personality, professional growth, motivation, stress, burn-out syndrome and mental hygiene. In addition, we offer an explanation of the process of distance education. The empirical part was realized via semi-structured interviews with teachers of theoretical subjects on vocational schools who were involved in the educational process during the time when it was forced to be led online. The most troublesome issues were the following: the teachers' inadequate technical skills and low self-confidence related to those, but also the minimal support from the schools' management regarding both the training in usage of on-line tools and the need of care of students', school employees' and parents' mental health. Teacher Developmen in Cuba : An analysis of two strategiesBuchberger, Helena January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this study is to describe two strategies of professional teacher development in Cuba and analyse how they affect the professional growth of the teachers. The strategies investigated are methodological work sessions and further education at the university. Eight upper-secondary school teachers were interviewed and it was analysed how their professional growth was affected by the Cuban professional development strategies. The model utilized was the interconnected model of professional growth (Clarke & Hollingsworth, 2002).The results show that, four of the eight interviewed teachers experienced change sequences and growth networks as a consequence of participating in the two investigated strategies. The methodological work sessions promote a collaborative approach among the teachers to developing the education in their school. Further education in the university, on the other hand, encourages the teachers to reflect individually on practical school-related problems. The results indicate that the organization of the work both the professional development strategies provided acted as an incentive for the interviewed teachers’ development. / Målet med den här studien är att beskriva två lärarutvecklingsstrategier i Kuba och analysera hur de påverkar lärarnas professionella utveckling. De undersökta strategierna är metodologiska arbetsmöten och vidareutbildning vid universitet. Åtta gymnasielärare intervjuades och det analyserades hur deras professionella utveckling påverkats av de kubanska lärarutvecklingsstrategierna. Modellen som använts är the interconnected model of professional growth (Clarke & Hollingsworth, 2002).Resultaten visar att de metodologiska arbetsmötena uppmuntrar lärarna att arbeta kollektivt med att utveckla utbildningen i sin skola. Universitetsvidareutbildning, vad andra sidan, främjar individuell reflektion över praktiska skolrelaterade problem. Resultatet indikerar att den organisation av arbetet som båda lärarutvecklingsstrategierna medför stimulerar lärarna att utvecklas.

本研究旨在瞭解目前高雄市高級中等學校教師知覺教師專業成長、教師在職進修動機與教師專業倫理實踐之現況。為達研究目的,首先蒐集相關文獻加以探討分析,了解教師專業成長、教師在職進修動機與教師專業倫理實踐之內涵,以建立本研究之理論基礎架構,作為本研究研究問卷編製之依據。在實證研究上採調查研究法,以高雄市高級中等學校教師為樣本對象,並以「分層隨機抽樣」方式進行資料蒐集,共發出570份問卷,有效問卷552份,可用回收率達96.8%。回收的問卷分別以描述性統計、t考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關以及逐步多元回歸進行統計分析。
綜合文獻探討及問卷調查結果,本研究獲致研究結論如下:
一、高雄市高級中等學校教師之教師專業成長為中高程度,三個層面知覺程度差異不大。
二、高雄市高級中等學校教師之教師在職進修動機為中等程度,以「認知興趣」、「逃避刺激」之知覺程度較高,「社會發展」與「他人影響」知覺程度較低。
三、高雄市高級中等學校教師之教師專業倫理實踐為中高程度,以「教師與學生家長之間關係」知覺程度最高,「教師與社會(區)之間關係」知覺程度最低。
四、高雄市高級中等學校教師在「教師專業成長」方面,不同「性別」、「服務年資」、「擔任職務」,與「學校地區」之教師,知覺程度有顯著差異。
五、高雄市高級中等學校教師在「教師在職進修動機」方面,不同「擔任職務」之教師,知覺程度有顯著差異。
六、高雄市高級中等學校教師在「教師專業倫理實踐」方面,知覺程度整體上無顯著差異。
七、高雄市高級中等學校教師之教師專業成長與教師在職進修動機具有顯著相關。
八、高雄市高級中等學校教師之教師專業成長與教師專業倫理實踐具有顯著相關。
九、高雄市高級中等學校教師之教師在職進修動機與教師專業倫理實踐具有顯著相關。
十、高雄市高級中等學校教師之教師專業成長、教師在職進修動機對教師專業倫理實踐具有顯著預測作用。
根據以上研究結果,提出具體建議,提供教育行政機關、學校行政及教師,以及未來相關研究之參考。 / The purpose of this study was to investigate the current development of teacher professional growth, motivation of in-service education, and teachers’ practive of professional ethic in senior high school of Kaohsiung City.
To achieve the research purposes, a literature review was conducted to understand the teacher professional growth, motivation of in-service education, and teachers’ practive of professional ethic, and then to establish the fundamental theory of this study and develop questionnaires. This is a cross-sectional survey study using stratified random sampling design. The study recruited teachers in Kuohsiung senior high schools. A sample of senior high school teachers in Kuohsiung City, stratified random sampling, issued a total of 570 parts, 552 valid questionnaires, the effective rate of 96.8% questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed by descriptive analyses, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple stepwise regression analysis.
The main findings of the study include:
一、Moderate-high teacher’s perceptions of teacher professional growth were shown, and three of the visions had the same level.
二、Moderate-high teacher’s perceptions of the motivation of in-service education were shown, in which the item “cognitive interest” and “escape / stimulate” was the higher, “social development”and “other people affected” was the lower.
三、Moderate-high teacher’s perceptions of teachers’ practive of professional ethic were shown, in which the item and “the relationship between students’parents” was the highest, and “the relationship between community and society” was the lowest.
四、There are significant differences in the senior high school teachers’perception of teacher professional growth in terms of gender, years of service, position, and school location.
五、There are significant differences in the senior high school teachers’perception of the motivation of in-service education in terms of position.
六、There are no significant difference in the senior high school teachers’perception of teachers’ practive of professional ethic.
七、There is a positive correlation among teacher professional growth and motivation of in-service education.
八、There is a positive correlation among teacher professional growth and teachers’ practive of professional ethic.
九、There is a positive correlation among motivation of in-service education and teachers’ practive of professional ethic.
十、Teacher professional growth and motivation of in-service education have a predictive effect on teachers’ practive of professional ethic.
According to the above research conclusions, the suggestions are proposed to be used as reference by educational institutions, school administrative units, and teachers in the future.

THE NATIONAL BOARD CERTIFICATION PROCESS AS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: PERCEPTIONS ABOUT THE IMPACT THAT CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROCESS HAD ON PROFESSIONAL GROWTHBumgarner, Heather J 01 January 2015 (has links)
Professional development is used by teachers to improve their teaching to enhance student learning, and research indicates that the National Board Certification (NBC) process contains high-quality professional development characteristics. Engagement in the NBC process can lead to professional growth by changing teachers’ knowledge, instructional practices, and students’ learning. This quantitative study investigated the extent to which characteristics of the NBC process influenced National Board Certified Teachers’ (NBCTs) professional growth. Using an online survey, the study collected responses from 119 NBCTs who participated in a specific NBC support program. Key findings included that all 20 high-quality professional development characteristics investigated had a perceived positive influence on professional growth, with some notable differences. The characteristics involving individual analysis of student work and teaching videos along with reflection were perceived to be most important, while those centering on collaboration with other candidates were perceived as less important. Second, characteristics that had the greatest perceived impact were those that focused on changing pedagogy rather than increasing content knowledge. Furthermore, a significant relationship was found between the perceived importance of duration in the experience and the length of time the candidate was in the process: NBCTs who achieved in one year, as compared to NBCTs who achieved in two or three years, had statistically significant lower ratings on the influence that the duration had on their professional growth. Additionally, those who engaged in the process for financial reasons, as compared to professional growth, had a lower rating of perceived importance when all characteristics were combined.
