1	Två sidor av samma mynt : En studie om mötet inom ekonomiskt bistånd Zellmani, Yvonne, Bauer, Betty January 2012 (has links) The overarching aim of this paper is to study the professional encounter in its complexity. The requirements for receiving welfare is set by the professional and it's the professionals decision if they are met in the proper manner. This makes the assessment of the clients conditions and the correctness of the assessment hence important. There are several levels which is necessary for the social worker to take into consideration. We have therefore made a socio-analysis by using a theoretical model of Johansson (2006) where he uses the Social Psychology of the encounter to create a model with four levels, which is always present in the professional encounter: structural, positional, relational, and experience level. Our base was that the one responsible for handling these levels was the professional which led us to search for literature concerning the professional approach. Our study is formed as a qualitative case-study. Our empirical data consist of qualitative interviews with four social workers handling social allowance.The results shows that the complexity of the professional encounter requires a professional approach. Furthermore it shows a need for more reflection of all factors of the meeting in its context. 2	Att påverka eller att bli påverkad : En studie om hur skolpersonals bemötande kan påverka skolgång och självutveckling hos elever med substansbruk Ingvarsson, Ola January 2022 (has links) Syftet med denna studie är att bidra till ny kunskapsutveckling relaterad till berättelser om hur skolpersonal kan bemöta elever med substansbruk och hur dessa bemötande kan påverka deras möjligheter till utbildning samt självutveckling. Studiens resultat baseras på kvalitativa intervjuer med tidigare högstadieelever som hade ett substansbruk när de gick på högstadiet och skolpersonal som har mött elever som har haft ett substansbruk. Ur resultatet kunde tre olika bemötanden urskiljas: skolpersonal som tog avstånd från elever som brukade narkotika; skolpersonal som öppet fördömde och tillrättavisade eleverna; skolpersonal som upplevdes öppna och villiga att hjälpa elever som brukade narkotika. Resultatet analyserades utifrån Meads (2015) ”the social self”. I analysen framställs det att de två första beteendena kan göra att eleverna får en mer negativ attityd till skolan, när elever upplever att de antingen blir ignorerade eller negativt bemötta kan det stärka deras negativa attityd till skolan och det kan hindra deras förutsättningar att ta till sig utbildning. Det tredje och sista bemötandet kan göra att eleverna får en mer positiv attityd till skolan som ökar deras möjligheter att ta till sig utbildning. Analysen av intervjuerna visar att skolpersonal som var personliga med eleverna och öppna för att lyssna in deras tankar kan ha större möjligheter att nå fram till eleverna. 3	Ett andra övergrepp : En kvalitativ studie om sekundär viktimisering hos kvinnor som utsatts för sexuellt våld inom en nära relation / A second abuse : A qualitative study on secondary victimization of woman exposed to intimate partner rape Erlandsson, Nathalie, Lindberg, Frida January 2024 (has links) The objective of this study is to examine how professionals approach women that have experienced intimate partner rape. Sexual abuse is an area that has seen an upswing of interest in later years partly thanks to samtyckeslagen (the consent law) and #metoo. At the same time the field is full of misinterpretations and old prejudice that sometimes risks leading to poor professional approach from the professionals. Secondary victimization is an effect of the poor approach that means that the women feel victimized again but by the professionals instead of the perpetrator. Though the area has gained more scientific traction in later years there are still many questions remaining and gaps in knowledge to examine. Through this study we have found that the women continuously experience approaches that makes them feel victimized. We have also found that a lot of the victimization is based in old belief connected to rape myths, the belief that a rape looks a certain way and therefore also that the victim of rape is a certain way. At the same time the women also describe that some professionals have been absolutely essential to their healing. This imbalance in approach is also evident in the earlier research that we have found. Our analysis also found that secondary victimization doesn’t only happen in the meeting between the women and the professionals. The choice of wording in the documentation after the meeting have also proven to be able to wake feelings of both shame and pride with the women. It also became evident that the women that had been exposed to secondary victimization in some cases would go to long lengths to avoid further contact with professionals. This finding means that the secondary victimization risks preventing the authority from helping these women in the future.
