New wine into new wineskins(Luke 5:38): church growth and revitalisation

Haase, John Martin 30 September 2004 (has links)
Individuals and organisations follow a general developmental cycle, that begins with birth, and progresses through growth, maturity, decline and death. While individuals necessarily die after a period of years, organisations may continue through many generations, though they too may die. Once an organisation reaches maturity, it tends toward decline, for sin has corrupted not only men, but all creation (Rms. 8:21-22). Though all things tend toward decay and death, they can be revitalised, for such is the power of God's grace. Like all organisations, the church can become ineffective. Many prefer abandoning the old organisation and starting a new work. Revitalisation may be the better solution, though it is certainly the greater challenge. This project considers the organisational life cycle biblically, historically and contemporarily. It considers how the church grows, and what keeps it from growing. It also considers the merits of creating `new wineskins,' versus revitalising old ones. / Christian Spirituality, Church History and Missiology / M.Th. (Missiology)

Normativisation et enseignement de la langue amazighe au Maroc : état des lieux, méthodes et réalisations / Standardization and teaching of the Amazighe language in Morocco : methods, inventory and achievements / Amsasa d usslmd n tutlayt tamazivt v lmvrib : askan n waddad, tivarasin d tyafutin

Nachef, Lahcen 29 September 2016 (has links)
The present study aims at defining the inventory of the amazighe language planning (standardization) and its teaching in Morocco, with a view to showing if the adopted methods and the attained achievements contribute to the revitalization of this language which has long been undervalued and confined to orality, but which has recently enjoyed “significant" renewed interest both from the society and the State. This newly conferred status has been reinforced by its very recent officialization granted by the new constitution of the country (July 2011).The research issue has been framed as follows: " Standardization and teaching of the Amazighe language in Morocco: methods, inventory and achievements".The corpus we have submitted for analysis consists of various documents designed so far by various educational authorities in favour of teaching/training of the amazighe language which has recently been integrated into the Moroccan education system. We analyzed institutional references, educational and didactic tools (official teaching guidelines, teaching methodologies, curricula, reference books in linguistics, school handbooks, training modules, surveys, pedagogical material, teaching cards …).In addition, we carried out a field survey aiming at consulting the main educational actors, and conducting classroom observations at the various levels where amazighe is taught to study the impact of the adopted methods. All in all, the study has revealed significant, yet still perfectible achievements, concerning the standardization and the teaching of amazighe in Morocco. However, its establishment in the various fields of the public life still remains problematic notably for socio-political reasons.

Legris-Dumontier, Sophie-Hélène January 2014 (has links)

Využití vodních toků a ploch v urbanizovaném území venkovského prostoru / The use watercourses and waterbodies within an urbanised countryside area

Šímová, Jana January 2017 (has links)
Water is an integral part of our life and waterways and areas were and still are an essential part of the public space of our cities and municipalities. We can find public space in every seat and we meet with the water on many of them. The water in public spaces appears in a different form. Whether these are minor elements, such as fountains, drinking water features, or larger water flows and water area. The water in the public space has its indispensable role. It is well known that its presence has a great impact on the well-being of man. Despite the fact that water is really important in the Interior of human settlements, over the years, water has disappeared on many places from public spaces, due to the technical development and development of settlements. The development of human settlements and public spaces takes place constantly from the time they were established. In recent years, the viewpoint of their importance is significantly changing and lot of the seats are aware of their value. The public space is like a living room of the city, thus a representative place. That´s why, the reconstructions of public space are quite often in recent years with use of water elements. The phenomenon of water surfaces is a factor which affecting the sustainable development and quality of life. Public space is not only an important functional element in the big cities. It has a great importance for smaller municipalities too. And just on them the thesis is focused. Their public space is often neglected. As well as water features in the surrounding area, which are uncared-for or extinct. Water in the form of water courses or water bodies have a great potential, in which a lot of possibilities is hidden, with which you can work in the urbanized areas. The goal of this thesis is to find a new role for the watercourses and water areas to be integrated into public space and public space, thanks to this, become a representative and functional part of the village once again.

Rougier, Etienne 04 1900 (has links)
Beginning in 2019 an ethnographic field in Auvergne (and peripheral regions of the Massif Central in Southern France), several current themes of Endangered Languages - theme increasingly central in contemporary studies of linguistic anthropology - will be presented and discussed. The Auvergnat language is a North-Occitan dialect located in a marginal area of the Occitan cultural area, as well as the centralized French space, which makes it in many ways the "patois of patois”. It is classified by UNESCO among the most endangered languages in Europe. Basing my research work on the question of linguistic usage, I discuss the registers, representations and socio-cultural formations made possible by activity that is both political and poetical. Intellectuals and academicians of normativity, folklorists of the romanticism of last speakers and, above all, natural speakers, the "great absentees of the discourse on language", meet in these linguistic and cultural settings. The fieldwork reported here focused on village festivals, Occitanist political and associative meetings, and urban anarchist or worker cafes in which the Auvergnat language is spoken. This to evoke the contribution of disruptive practices and concerns for linguistic revitalization to the romantic and political potential of Auvergnat Occitan. This study concentrates on the Panoccitanism represented by the performativity of militant and artistic linguistic usages: these manifestations of creation and hybridization which form a revitalized language, a new language, defying the strong monolinguism dominating France. This study has been supplemented by a comparison with the Occitan dialects of Piedmont (Italy), thus making it possible to highlight the influences of a linguistic policy on the use and representation of a language and a culture.
