En esta publicación te resumimos los eventos cronológicos que desencadenaron el conflcto entre Rusia y Ucrania.

El grado de prioridad que alcanza el Perú, a nivel individual, para una gran potencia lejana como Rusia es bajo en términos generales, sobre todo si se realiza la comparación con otros países latinoamericanos cuyo peso a nivel económico y de poder global es mayor, como Brasil, o cuya agenda desarrollada con Rusia es más activa, como Argentina. Pero pese a esto, Rusia suscribió con el Perú un acuerdo de Asociación Estratégica en el año 2015, el cual planteaba como aspecto fundamental el desarrollo de las relaciones comerciales y de inversión. Frente a ello nos preguntamos qué motivos llevaron a la firma de dicho acuerdo dada la baja prioridad que hemos mencionado y, sobre todo, dadas las cifras que demuestran que las relaciones entre ambos países en el ámbito económico son relativamente poco relevantes. Aplicamos un marco teórico vinculado a las corrientes Realista y Constructivista, así como una metodología basada en fuentes secundarias (documentos de política exterior, fuentes periodísticas y bases de datos) y primarias (entrevistas con académicos y funcionarios del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores del Perú). Encontramos que el motivo principal no fue un interés de Rusia por el Perú de manera específica, sino un interés más amplio por estar presente en América Latina. Ello, a su vez, obedece a un contexto en el que la presencia en América Latina contribuye al cumplimiento de objetivos de Rusia en el plano material (exportación de productos con valor agregado hacia países con menor desarrollo tecnológico, importación de materias primas en un contexto posterior a las sanciones provocadas por el conflicto en Ucrania) y no material (proyección de una identidad de gran potencia activa en los asuntos mundiales).

Each year the level of migration rises. In the Czech Republic, we observe a sustained increase of variety in terms of nationalities, cultures, ethnicities. Among the numerous communities that can be found within our borders are the ethnic groups of Russians and Ukrainians. The influence that a person's cultural background has on their behavior in times of sickness and in times of health is enormous. Culture has an impact not only on a person's lifestyle, but also on the way in which such a person responds to, and should be treated with, medical care and nursing. Medical staff should be aware of the different patterns of behavior of members of various nationalities and ethnicities. The objectives of this diploma thesis are: identify specific aspects of providing nursing services to the Russian and Ukrainian minorities, and ensure that Russian and Ukrainian clients are satisfied with the nursing service in our hospitals. This paper is divided into two sections. In the theoretical part, the reader may familiarize himself or herself with the religious beliefs that form a part of the life of Russian and Ukrainian clients. This part also includes an overview of the history of these peoples, their migration, their assimilation to our conditions, the issue of barriers to communication, and the ensuing problems. The practical part of this thesis relies on qualitative research via structured interviews within the Russian and Ukrainian communities, and on quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire with which we identified the degree to which nurses are knowledgeable in the belief system of orthodox christianity, and their opinion regarding the necessity of a specific approach to providing care to Russian and Ukrainian clients. Four research questions were formulated, and have drawn answers, in the course of our research. Based on this research, we put together a nursing standard that should facilitate and improve the care provided by nurses in our hospitals. The results of this research, and this thesis itself, could be used in practice to enhance, and to improve the quality, of nursing services rendered, as a training tool for nurses, to present the results on scientific or undergraduate conferences, and for publication in professional journals.

This diploma theses focuses on the possibility of federalization of Ukraine or autonomy of Donbas in order to ensure the stability of Ukrainian political system and societal cohesion. The bases for this is the analysis of the cleavages in both, Ukrainian society and its political space. The analysis is bases on definition of ideological dimensions presented by Arend Lijphart with some modifications with respect to is applicability on Ukrainian situation. This part of the theses therefore analyzes the language and religion questions, issue of foreign policy orientation, democratization and deoligarchization of Ukraine, the support for Ukrainian independence and territorial cohesion or the socioeconomic differences. On the bases of this analysis and the discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of such solutions for divided countries, the final part of the theses discusses the suitability of federalization of Ukraine and the autonomy for Donbas. En los últimos treinta años (1991-2021), la relación bilateral entre la Federación de Rusia y la República Popular China ha evolucionado hasta convertirse en una asociación estratégica de considerable relevancia en el desarrollo de las relaciones internacionales. Identificar las bases sobre las que este vínculo se sostiene es esencial para explicar la creciente sintonía exhibida por ambas naciones en materia de política exterior. La presente investigación se apoya en el marco teórico de la escuela constructivista para analizar tres dimensiones de corte ideacional que explican la convergencia entre Moscú y Pekín: el establecimiento de un orden internacional multipolar o policéntrico, el respeto a los principios del derecho internacional y la identificación de un “Otro” y la construcción de la identidad estatal. Para realizar este tipo de investigación, se apela al análisis cualitativo de contenido tanto de los discursos y documentos oficiales emitidos por las autoridades políticas de ambos países como de los documentos oficiales divulgados por los BRICS y la Organización de Cooperación de Shanghái (OCS), dos espacios multilaterales liderados por ambos países. Este estudio concluye que existe una significativa coincidencia entre Rusia y China en la defensa de un orden internacional multipolar y el derecho internacional, pues son causas funcionales a sus intereses nacionales; en cambio, más incierta y ambigua es la confluencia respecto de la caracterización que cada uno hace de un “Otro” en el escenario internacional, el grado de importancia que cada uno le asigna al momento de ejecutar su política exterior y la forja de su identidad en el tablero internacional. / Over the last thirty years (1991-2021), the bilateral relationship between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China has evolved into a strategic partnership of considerable relevance in the development of international relations. Identifying the foundations on which this bond is sustained is essential to explain the growing attunement exhibited by both nations in foreign policy matters. This research is based on the theoretical framework of the constructivist school in order to analyze three ideational dimensions that explain the convergence between Moscow and Beijing: the establishment of a multipolar or polycentric international order, respect for the principles of international law, and the identification of an "Other" and the construction of state identity. In order to carry out this type of research, qualitative content analysis of both the speeches and official documents issued by the political authorities of both countries and the official documents disseminated by the BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), two multilateral spaces led by both countries, is used. This study concludes that there is a significant coincidence between Russia and China in the defense of a multipolar international order and international law, as they are functional causes to their national interests; on the other hand, more uncertain and ambiguous is the confluence regarding the characterization that each one makes of an "Other" in the international scenario, the degree of importance that each one assigns to it when executing its foreign policy and the forging of its identity in the international chessboard.

Tesis

La tesis estudia la evolución de la estructura de propiedad de compañías y de sus efectos sobre resultados económicos reales. El capítulo 1 proporciona un análisis empírico de la privatización en Rusia en los años 90. Se utilizan datos de 530 empresas industriales rusas para estimar los factores implicados en la decisión de privatizar una empresa, en la selección entre diversas opciones de privatización, en la distribución inicial de la propiedad que resulta, y en su evolución posterior. El capítulo 2 estudia los efectos de diferencias de intereses entre accionistas sobre decisiones de inversión y el mercado de acciones en un modelo simple. Suponiendo que los mercados financieros son incompletos, la distribución inicial de la propiedad, la riqueza y las preferencias de los propietarios afectan a su nivel preferido de inversión. Las decisiones sobre la inversión son tomadas por mayoría. Dos extensiones, la protección de accionistas de minoría y ventajas privadas del control, permiten un análisis del papel de las instituciones del gobierno corporativo en las decisiones de inversión y estructura de propiedad. Las predicciones del modelo para la evolución de la estructura de propiedad son coherentes con las observaciones empíricas en el capítulo 1. / The thesis studies the evolution of the ownership structure of companies and its effects on real economic outcomes. Chapter 1 provides an empirical analysis of the large-scale privatization in Russia in the 1990s. A comprehensive data set of 530 Russian manufacturing firms is used to estimate determinants of the decision to privatize a firm, of the choice among different options of privatization, the resulting initial ownership distribution, and its further evolution. Chapter 2 studies the effects of conflicting interests of shareholders on investment decisions and share trade in a simple model. In a setting with incomplete financial markets, the wealth, initial stake and preferences of owners affect their preferred level of investment. Decisions on investment are taken by majority. Two extensions, a protection for minority shareholders and private benefits of control, allow us to analyze the impact of corporate governance arrangements on investment decisions and ownership structure. The model predictions for the evolution of ownership are in line with the empirical observations in chapter 1.
