Manual de aproximação é um embate que se quer fluido entre a pesquisa acadêmica e o caos da criação entre as Artes Visuais e a Dança. Tenta degustar sem enlatar, para mostrar aqui um resultado parcial de uma pesquisa que começou bem antes do mestrado e possivelmente não se encerrará com ele. São descritas experiências significativas em relação a três trabalhos realizados no início da pesquisa: Pele na água, Relógio Pélvico e Borboleta Pélvica. Pele na água mostra um processo de trabalho relacional que está entre a performance e a gravura. Relógio Pélvico e Borboleta Pélvica partem de um lugar da anatomia e desenvolvem-se através de encontros com pessoas interessadas no saber do movimento e da criação somáticoperformativa. Em meio às relações vividas nesses processos, elaborou-se um sentimentoideia chamado Sim-eu, que trata da potência criativa entre pessoas que apostam na integração de si com o outro. / Manual de aproximação is a clash that is intended fluid between academic research and the chaos of creation between the Visual Arts and Dance. It tries to taste withoutcanning in order to show here a partialresult of a research that started well beforethe masters course and possibly will not endwith it. Significant experiences aredescribed in relation to three studiesperformed at the beginning of the research: Pele na água, Relógio Pélvico and Borboleta Pélvica. Pele na água shows a relational work found between the performance and the engraving. Relógio Pélvico and Borboleta Pélvica depart from a place of anatomy and are developed through encounters with people interested in the knowledge of somatic-performative movement and creation. In the midst of the relationships lived in these processes, a sentimentidea called Sim-eu was created, which deals with the creative power between people who bet on the integration of themselves and the other.

Na situação estudada há muitos elementos com comportamento estocástico, que podem influenciar na produtividade da linha, além da diversidade de insumos que abastecem a montagem, o que torna o balanceamento da linha uma tarefa complexa e favorece o uso da Simulação como procedimento de solução. Na modelagem conceitual do problema estudado adotou-se o método IDEF-SIM e para a simulação foi utilizado o software ProModel®. Como resultados tem-se um modelo conceitual e implementado para uma linha de montagem que possibilitou informações interessantes sobre o problema, tais como: juntar funções de dois postos de trabalhos, eliminar excesso de movimentação e eliminar gargalos. / The overall objective of the research was to develop a simulation model discrete event to be applied to balancing an assembly line components in automotive company, seeking to increase line productivity and using lower amounts of inputs. In the situation studied for many elements with stochastic behavior, which may influence the productivity of the line beyond the range of products that supply assembly, which makes the balancing line a complex task and promotes the use of the simulation procedure as a solution. In conceptual modeling of the studied problem adopted the IDEF-SIM method and for the simulation we used the ProModel® software. As results has a conceptual model and implemented for an assembly line that has enabled interesting information about the problem, such as joining functions of two posts jobs, eliminate excess movement and eliminate bottlenecks.

We focus our writing instrument (questionnaire) with issues related to Marketing. During the research we seek to bring concepts related to andragogy, meaningful learning of Ausubel. Games in general and gamification, business game, investigating the ways of how does learning the game especially in game companies. Regarding learning theories and approaches, we brought a brief account of Skinner behavioral, social cognitive, historical and socialization Vygotsky, and it is through these approaches that happens to promotion of learning and insertion apprentice in half or corporate group. This has been confirmed by the fact that some corporate executives to encourage their employees to participate in training that accelerate and promote learning with content from various fields of expertise and organizational projects. Currently the business games are used as an aid in learning tool for training in various areas at universities, especially in business administration courses, thus ensuring the future managers a significant baggage to face the real world of business. Theoretically we rely on concepts covered by major authors: Bellan, Gramigna, Sauaia Martinelli, Huizinga, Kirby, Piaget, Karl Kapp, Malcolm Knowles, Moreira, Vygotsky, Ausubel among others, adopting concepts related to learning through the intermediary of the business game. The survey also brings the analysis of some steps taken in the game to promote learning the light of the approaches and theories of Vygotsky / A pesquisa trata acerca de business game ERP-SIM, uma ferramenta do IBTA, Instituto Brasileiro de Tecnologias Avançadas, trazendo a análise de estudo e resultados de alunos que jogaram o Business game ERP-SIM como ferramenta para desenvolvimento e promoção da aprendizagem para profissionais no mundo corporativo, onde o público-alvo é pertencente à modalidade andragógica. Focalizamos nosso instrumento escrito (questionário) com questões relacionadas ao Marketing. Durante a pesquisa procuramos trazer conceitos relacionados a andragogia, aprendizagem significativa de Ausubel, games em geral e gamification, business game, investigando as formas de como se dá a aprendizagem no game, especialmente nos jogos de empresas. Em relação às teorias da aprendizagem e às abordagens, trouxemos um breve relato behaviorista de Skinner, sociocognitivo, histórico e socialização de Vygotsky, e é através destas abordagens que acontece a promoção da aprendizagem e a inserção do aprendiz ao meio ou grupo corporativo. <p>This thesis investigates how Ericsson AB should do to achieve fast and secure handover when roaming in a WLAN. It also provides a security analysis of the system that the wireless access point is part of. The reason for this is that Ericsson is selling an access point called the ABS 2200 aimed at the public hotspot market. </p><p>The premise was that they wanted a standardized way of handling the roaming issue. At the outset the 802.11F standard looked like a good alternative (in fact the only standardized alternative). Towards last stages of the work though, it was discovered that the 802.11F standard is no longer supported by IEEE. </p><p>Despite this fact, the conclusion is that secure and fast roaming can be attained if 802.11F is combined with the security standard 802.11i. </p><p>The security analysis concludes that Denial Of Service is a major threat to WLAN hotspots. It also points out the link between the access point and authentication server is the weakest link in the system. The recommendation is that this link receives an additional layer of protection through IPsec withESP. The algorithm recommendations for ESP are AES for confidentiality and SHA-1 for integrity. </p><p>This thesis can also be used as a primer on security in WLAN and contains an extensive glossary making it useful as a reference when reading 802.11 standards.</p>

Simulator for Resource Allocation in Hybrid Networks

<p>Much work has been done in simulating traditional cellular networks. But with the incoming of ad-hoc network technology, the next generation networks will employ hybrid network architectures using both cellular and ad-hoc networking concepts. </p><p>We investigate how to create a simulator being able to simulate a hybrid wireless network. This involves setting up a cellular network and an ad-hoc network respectively. However, the most important thing is how to integrate them seamlessly. </p><p>Fortunately, there has already been a simulator called SIMRA which simulates a UMTS cellular network. Therefore, this thesis work is greatly simplified as how to extend and improve SIMRA to implement a simulator for hybrid wireless network. We selected J-sim as the developing platform for our simulator and our development was greatly based on the wireless package provided by the latest version of J-sim. </p><p>To evaluate the new simulator, different resource allocation algorithms were run against it and the results were compared to those generated by earlier extensions to SIMRA under the same simulation settings. It showed that the resource allocation algorithms behaved similarly under the hybrid wireless network environment. Nevertheless, there are some discrepancies in behaviors of algorithms used for evaluation that still need to be studied.</p>

För att nå detta syfte har vi valt att göra en fallstudie av Mjölby kommuns arbete med utvecklingen av 24-timmarskommun.</p><p>Fältarbetet har utförts med hjälp av kvalitativa semistandardiserade intervjuer med ämnesområdets relevanta personer inom kommunen. Analys av empiridata har genomförts med hjälp av förändringsanalys enligt SIM-metoden.</p><p>Resultat av vår undersökning visar att införande av 24-timmarskommun bör ses som en del av kommunens förändringsarbete mot en modern förvaltning. För att detta arbete ska vara framgångsrikt krävs det strategiskt ledarskap som ska ta fram, förankra och kommunicera visioner och målbilder av den moderna förvaltningen i organisationens alla delar. Samarbete, systematisk process- och brukarorienterad verksamhetsutveckling och den professionella kompetensen utgör en garanti att uppställda målen och visioner for 24-timmarskommun kan förverkligas. Integrating Bandwidth Measurement into TCP

Conventional TCP is window based, which exploits the sliding window mechanism to conduct the flow control. It increases the sending window additively and decreases the sending window multiplicatively in response to successful transmission and, packet loss/timeout events respectively. While the mechanism works quite well in normal networks, TCP can hardly reach the ideal bandwidth utilization in long fat networks (LFNs) due to long delay and bursts of packet losses. Besides, as wireless and mobile computing has become popular today, packet loss in such networks may occur due to noise, interference and handoff across different domains. TCP could not react to different situations effectively as it sees all packet losses as an indication of network congestion. In this thesis, we proposed a new transmission control mechanism called Active Rate Anchoring TCP (ARCH-TCP). In ARCH-TCP, we explicitly integrate bandwidth measurement into TCP to solve the aforementioned problem. Specifically, we exploit packet-pair measurement to quickly estimate bandwidth share and then RTT variation is observed to compensate measurement error. We built the model in J-Sim network simulator to evaluate the effectiveness of our proposal. We found that ARCH-TCP can react to network conditions quickly and precisely in both wired and wireless networks and both in the normal networks and LFNs.

Industry-University Cooperation Systems are used by government, private enterprises and universities to adapt to a changing world environment spurred on by technological development. These systems can promote a nation¡¦s human resources as a result of research and development or the establishment of new ventures. They also complement knowledge and technology and promote the connection of academia and its application in order to push the nation¡¦s competitive power forward. Taiwan¡¦s Industry-University Cooperation system is similar, but younger than Japan¡¦s. Based on the Flying-Geese Model, a development of countries in Asia, Japan has always held the top ranking of technology management and innovation. Therefore it would be worthwhile for Taiwan to imitate Japan¡¦s Industry-University Cooperation system. The range of the Industry-University Cooperation system is fairly wide, therefore this research paper will study the effects of Japan¡¦s system and the development of the Electric Vehicle industry. The Electric Vehicle (EV) industry offers effective solutions to the problems of global warming and rapid energy depletion. Among advanced countries, Japan has been the most serious in developing an EV industry and has developed advanced technology. Japan¡¦s government has started to combine research and industry in recent years. It has also tried to make policy that is based on technological development and popularizes the EV and eco-friendly car. This research attempts to explain the main links between the Industry-University Cooperation system and the EV industry, including the extent of effectiveness and superiority. This thesis is an analysis of a case study of the cooperation between SIM-Drive Corporation and Keio University. By understanding Japan¡¦s Industry-University cooperation system, Taiwan¡¦s EV industry circles will be more able to connect with academic circles and gain EV development experience by learning from Japan.
