The purpose of this thesis with the title "Analysis of motivation and remuneration system of employees" was the analysis of current situation in the selected company O.T.E.C. CR s.r.o. The analysis concentrated on the motivation and the remuneration for the human resources. In case of need changes of HR system were suggested. For the method of survey I chose the investigating method of asking the employees to get the complete picture. On the basis of the results from the question blanks a new, more effective system of personal fees and motivation was suggested. Suggestions for the improvement of the motivation of the employees in the company are: Improving the format and regularity of the information´s transfer to employees. Regular evaluations of the employees (not only the company results) in a suitable form. Revaluation of the existing remuneration system and using more of the variable part of wage. Revision the system of non-financial benefits and extension its actual supply.

This diploma thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part reviews some theories of motivation as well as theories of work motivation. Secondly, it describes the relationship between motivation, job satisfaction and performance. Thirdly, there is a description of job satisfaction factors. In the practical part, job satisfaction was analysed in the particular company and a few recommendations to the company management were made. The company situation was revised after ten months and other recommendations to the management were made.

Diploma thesis provides an analysis of job satisfaction in a selected company. The main goal is to monitor employees' job satisfaction in terms of all levels of management with emphasis on issues of organizational change. Possible factors of dissatisfaction should result as a by-product from the analysis. Among the methods of investigation I applied questionnaire, workshop and interview with HR manager. In conclusion, the results of each method are summarized and according to the findings of dissatisfaction I suggested measures to improve the current situation in the company.

The theoretical part describes the principles and processes of personal management in the form of human resource management, further it features basic concepts of motivation, main motivation theories, factors affecting satisfaction of employees and instruments of their stimulation to desired work output. The practical part presents the company ČSAD Vsetín Inc. and analyses individual instruments of stimulation of employees which simultaneously compares with the accepted theory, clarifies advantages of chosen procedures, eventually suggests other solutions.
