Basic terms, used methods and analyses of external and internal influences are described in the theoretical part. These methods are applied on the actual manufacturing concern in the analytical part. Suggested alternative solutions are described in the project part. The most suitable alternative is defined in the closure.

Saab är ett ledande företag på marknaden inom försvar- och säkerhetslösningar. De levererar produkter, tjänster och lösningar inom både militärt försvar och civil säkerhet. Saab Aeronautics tillverkar och utvecklar stridsflygplanet JAS 39 Gripen. Saab har en pågående affär med det brasilianska flygvapnet som inkluderar produktion och utveckling av totalt 36 stycken stridsflygplan av modellerna Gripen E och Gripen F. Planering kan ske på strategisk, taktisk eller operativ nivå. Om leveranstiden till kunden är lång är det vanligt att den strategiska och taktiska nivån slås samman, vilket också är fallet på Saab där nivåerna slagits samman och benämns som huvudplanering. Huvudplaneringen har som uppgift att ta fram ett huvudprogram för produktion av Gripen med en planeringshorisont på tio år. För att produktionen ska vara effektiv är det viktigt att huvudprogrammet är så bra utformat som möjligt, samt att det inkluderar alla avtalade teknikutbyten. I dagsläget har huvudplaneringen inget optimeringsverktyg som på ett systematiskt vis inkluderar de faktorer som bör tas hänsyn till vid framtagandet av ett huvudprogram. Syftet med examensarbetet är att utreda vad som krävs för att huvudplaneringen ska kunna ta hänsyn till fler faktorer vid framtagande av huvudprogram. En matematisk modell för Saab togs fram och därefter var planen att implementera den i Excel, eftersom huvudplaneringen använder denna programvara i dagsläget. Under arbetets gång upptäcktes det att Excel har begränsningar som gjorde att det inte var möjligt att implementera den matematiska modellen enligt den matematiska notationen. En avvägning om att endera fokusera på implementerbarhet eller teknisk noggrannhet gjordes och implementerbarhet valdes. Ett verktyg som inkluderar de krav som anges i den matematiska modellen skapades i Excel. För att verifiera den matematiska modellen implementerades den i optimeringsverktyget AMPL. Därefter gjordes en jämförelse mellan de olika verktygen för att visa på eventuella skillnader i resultatet som de genererade. Arbetet resulterade i en matematisk modell för Saab och ett verktyg i Excel. Modellen tar hänsyn till olika typer av teknikutbyte, att ledtiden är inom tillåtet tidsspann för varje aktivitet och att glapptider minimeras. Verktyg i Excel tar hänsyn till faktorerna som inkluderades i den matematiska modellen. För att målet ska uppnås krävs djupare utredning kring befintliga programvaror eller att investera i en ny programvara. / Saab is a global company within defense and security, and they deliver products, services and solutions within military defense and civil security. The business area Aeronautics develop and produce the aircraft system JAS 39 Gripen. Saab has a contract with the Brazilian air force which includes development and production of 36 aircraft systems. There are three different levels of planning, strategical, tactical and operational. It is common to merge the strategical and tactical level if the delivery time is long. The strategical and tactical level at Saab is one unit and they are called Master Planning. The main task for Master Planning is to create a master production schedule with a planning horizon of ten years. It is important that the master production schedule includes all technological transfers and that the schedule is as efficient as possible. They do not use any technological tool that systematically includes all factors that needs to be taken into account when creating a schedule. The aim with this master thesis is to investigate how more factors can be integrated when developing the master production schedule. A mathematical model for Saab was created. Then the plan was to implement the mathematical model in Excel, since the Master Planning use this tool currently. During the implementation it was discovered that Excel has limitations that makes it impossible to implement the mathematical model according to the mathematical notation. A tradeoff was made, to either focus on implementability or technological accuracy, and implementability was chosen. Then a tool was created in Excel, which includes the requirements from the mathematical model. To verify the mathematical model, it was implemented in the optimization tool AMPL. Then a comparison between Excel and AMPL was made, to be able to show possible differences. The result of the master thesis is a mathematical model for Saab and a tool in Excel. The mathematical model includes different types of technological transfer, lead time requirements and minimization of gap time. The tool in Excel includes the requirements which is specified in the mathematical model. To be able to achieve the goal, an investigation must be done to find out if Saab can use any existing software at the company or if they need to invest in a new type of software.

After many considerations I choose the villagecenter in the place of today´s office and the supermarket. The new center will be consist from the three parts. First is a part of the commerce, services, post office, and the doctor. In this part will be rebuilded old officebuilding and supermarket and will be builded new supermarketstore and new building of stores, and new apartment building. In the second part will be rebuilded schoolbuilding and the kindergarden. The old playground will be recultivated and also livingdistrict for seniors will be builded,for zouny merrids and families. In the third part of new center the apartaments building and wellness centre will be builded. I proposed a new function´s use of landscape of Kunčice under Ondřejník together with villagecenter.

[pt] A indústria brasileira de óleo e gás é, atualmente, uma das mais atrativas do mundo. Investidores, fabricantes de equipamentos e companhias de petróleo procuram a todo momento formas de entrar neste mercado para sustentar sua competitividade. Devido à complexidade e aos elevados investimentos necessáriosà atuação neste setor, as alianças estratégicas, fusões e aquisições tornam-se indispensáveis para o aproveitamento dessas oportunidades. Desta maneira, o objetivo deste trabalho consiste em analisar as alianças estratégicas, fusões e aquisições da empresa FMC Technologies com seus atores-chave no setor de óleo e gás. A investigação foi conduzida mediante o emprego da metodologia de estudo de caso, com triangulação de métodos. Assim, os dados da pesquisa foram coletados por vários meios, a saber: investigação documental/telematizada e levantamentos de percepções, com o auxílio de questionário predominantemente estruturado e de entrevistas respectivamente. Tais elementos foram tratados com base no referencial teórico, fundamentado na revisão da literatura pertinente à área de estudo, com o auxílio da ferramenta analítica Global SNA Framework de Macedo-Soares (2011). Os resultados da pesquisa evidenciaram uma adequação entre os objetivos estratégicos explicitados pela empresa e as alianças e F&A realizadas com parceiros, proporcionando um aumento das oportunidades e uma redução das ameaças no nível da indústria. Como recomendação resultante da pesquisa, sugere-se a realização de novos trabalhos enfocando os principais concorrentes da FMC Technologies os quais também competem globalmente por meio de alianças globais no setor de óleo e gás. / [en] The Brazilian oil and gas industry is currently one of the most attractive worldwide. Investors, equipment manufacturers and oil companies continuously seek ways to enter in this market to sustain its competitiveness. Due to the complexity and high investments required to operate in this sector, strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions become mandatory to benefit from such opportunities. Thus, the aim of this thesisis to analyze strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions of FMC Technologies with their key players in the oil and gas sector. The investigation was conducted using a case study methodology, with triangulation of methods. The survey data were collected by different ways: analysis of documents, telematic and perception research, using surveys and predominantly structured interviews. The data treatment was based on the theoretical framework, pursuant to a review of the relevant literature, with the support of the analytical tool GlobalSNA Framework Macedo-Soares (2011). The study results showed a match between the strategic objectives for the company and explained the alliances and M&A transactions with partners, providing increased opportunities and reducing threats in the industry level. As a result from the research, it is recommendedto conduct new studies focused on the main competitors of FMC Technologies, whose international operations are also based on global alliances in the oil and gas sector.

[pt] No atual ambiente de negócios, onde um dos poucos fatos imutáveis é que a mudança neste ambiente é constante e cada vez mais acelerada, as empresas necessitam adequar-se às novas situações rápida e continuamente, pela redefinição e adaptação de suas estratégias. Neste cenário, de competição acirrada, as empresas buscam concentrar suas atividades no que elas têm de maior valor e que seja único para seus clientes, ou seja, suas competências essenciais. Isto explica em grande parte porque elas formam redes de relacionamentos com outras empresas, notadamente de alianças estratégicas: as suas competências são complementadas com as das outras empresas parceiras destas redes. Um dos principais fatores organizacionais internos de apoio à estratégia de uma empresa é a Tecnologia de Informação e Comunicação (TIC). Aspectos como infra-estrutura, aplicações, equipe e processos de TIC precisam operar de forma coordenada e coerente, de modo a possibilitar a existência de processos integrados entre as empresas de uma rede, e contribua para que as informações necessárias possam fluir entre elas, de forma rápida, automática e controlada. Do ponto de vista da empresa focal, o alinhamento entre sua estratégia de TIC e sua estratégia de negócios, na sua Rede de Alianças Estratégicas (RAE), precisa ser flexível, com rápida adaptação às novas necessidades definidas por estes relacionamentos. Argumenta-se que é necessário que haja um alinhamento com margem. Para tanto, acredita-se que TIC deve não somente atender às necessidades atuais do negócio e de seus relacionamentos, assegurando o alinhamento estratégico requerido, mas também deva estar preparada para atender, parcial ou totalmente, às necessidades futuras. A presente pesquisa propõe um arcabouço analítico que provê subsídios para definição e implementação de uma estratégia de TIC de uma empresa específica, inserida em uma RAE, que seja alinhada à sua estratégia de negócios e que tenha a necessária eficiência e flexibilidade para a operacionalização e sustentação bem sucedida desta estratégia, considerando os diferentes stakeholders envolvidos. Esta pesquisa foi essencialmente empírica e qualitativa. As etapas de pesquisa foram: i) o desenvolvimento do referencial teórico; ii) a proposição do arcabouço analítico; iii) a avaliação do arcabouço analítico proposto. Na primeira etapa realizou-se um levantamento bibliográfico fundamentado em rankings de periódicos nacionais e internacionais. Na segunda etapa realizou-se uma pesquisa preliminar (investigação quantitativa da percepção de gestores de TIC), seguida de entrevistas de confirmação da pesquisa (investigação qualitativa da percepção de gestores de TIC). Ao final desta etapa foi proposto o arcabouço analítico de gestão estratégica dinâmica da TIC das empresas que atuam em RAEs. Na última etapa realizou-se um estudo de casos múltiplos, para aprimorar e ilustrar o arcabouço analítico proposto. Os resultados dessa pesquisa sugerem que as RAEs influenciam a TIC das empresas, e que esta influência se manifesta de várias formas. O arcabouço analítico proposto sugere que há fatores intervenientes que moderam a força destas influências. Por fim, sugeriu-se que, uma vez compreendida as possíveis influências de uma RAE, os gestores de TIC podem antecipar-se a estas influências e planejar melhor a TIC das suas empresas para dar sustentação à sua competitividade. / [en] In the current business environment, where one of the few unchangeable facts is that change in this environment is constant and more and more accelerated, firms need to adapt quickly and continuously to new situations, by redefining and adapting their strategies. In this scenario, of tough competition, firms strive to concentrate their activities in what is of greater value and unique for their clients, that is, their core competencies. That explains, by and large, why they create relationship networks with other firms, in particular strategic alliances: their competencies are complemented by their network partner firms` ones. One of the main internal organizational factors that support a firm`s strategy is Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Aspects such as infrastructure, applications, teams and processes must operate coordinately and coherently, so that integrated processes between firms of a network may exist, and that the needed information may flow among them, in a quick, automatic and controlled way. From the focal firm`s point of view, the alignment between its ICT strategy and its business strategy, in its Strategic Alliance Network (SAN), must be flexible, with fast adaptation to the new needs established by these relationships. What is argued is that there is need for an alignment with margin. In order to have this, ICT must not only respond to the current business and relationships needs, assuring the required strategic alignment, but should also be prepared to respond, partially or totally, to the future needs. This research proposes an analytical framework that provides resources to definition and implementation of the ICT strategy of a firm participating in a SAN, that is aligned with its business strategy and that has the necessary efficiency and flexibility, in order to implement and sustain this strategy, considering the different stakeholders involved. This research was essentially empiric and qualitative, and had the following steps: i) theoretical framework development; ii) analytical framework proposal; iii) proposed analytical framework evaluation. On the first step a ranking-based bibliographic research of national and international journals was prepared. On the second step, a preliminary investigation (quantitative analysis of ICT managers perceptions) was prepared, followed by confirmatory interviews (qualitative analysis of ICT managers perceptions). At the end of this step, an analytical framework for dynamic ICT strategic management for firms that act in SANs was proposed. In the last step, a multiple case-study was developed to enhance and illustrate the proposed analytical framework. The results suggest that SANs influence ICT at firms, and that this influences manifest its self in multiple ways. The proposed analytical framework suggests that there are intervenient factors that moderate the strength of these influences. Finally it was suggested that, having understood the possible influences of a SAN, ICT managers can anticipate these influences and better plan the ICT of their firms, in order to sustain their competitiveness.

[pt] Um amplo rearranjo institucional e de mercado decorreu das privatizações de concessões de serviços públicos no Brasil em diversos setores econômicos. Tornou-se evidente, assim, uma crescente necessidade de estabelecer ações de gestão que produzam o desempenho esperado dessas concessões. Inseridos num ambiente de incertezas, setores regulados, como o de distribuição de gás canalizado, têm sido pouco investigados por pesquisadores no âmbito da gestão estratégica. A presente pesquisa procurou, sob as óticas integrativa e relacional, estudar o efeito dos fatores macro ambientais no desempenho da CEG e da CEG RIO, distribuidoras de gás canalizado do Estado do Rio de Janeiro privatizadas em julho de 1997. De acordo com a metodologia de estudo de caso de Yin, foi adotada a estratégia de triangulação dos métodos. Os dados foram coletados por meio de investigação documental/telematizada, pesquisa de percepções tipo survey via questionário predominantemente estruturado e entrevistas complementares. A interpretação e a análise dos dados foram realizadas com base no referencial teórico apropriado e com o auxílio dos modelos genérico integrativo e relacional de Macedo-Soares. Os resultados evidenciaram a adequação estratégica das empresas, embora os fatores macro ambientais pudessem ser mais estrategicamente orientados. Ainda que o estabelecimento de alianças não seja uma prática estratégica, a análise relacional agrega valor à análise tradicional, contribuindo com novos insights para a tomada de decisão estratégica da CEG e da CEG RIO. O estudo também trouxe contribuições aos referidos modelos de análise estratégica e à gestão de concessões de serviços públicos. / [en] A wide institutional and market reorganization derived from the privatizations of public services concessions in Brazil in economic sectors. It became evident an increasing need to establish business management actions in order to produce the expected performance from those concessions. Embbeded in uncertainties, regulated sectors like piped gas distribution have been underestimated by researchers in respect of strategic management issues. The present research focused, under integrative and relational perspectives, the effect of the environmental factors to the performance of CEG and CEG RIO - gas distribuiton companies in Rio de Janeiro State, privatized in july, 1997. According to Yin´s case study methodology, a triangulation of methods was adopted. Therefore, data was collected through documental/telematized investigation, survey of management perceptions using a mostrly structured questionnaire and complementary interviews. The interpretation and analysis of data were based on the appropriate theoretical reference aided by the generic integrative and the relational models from Macedo-Soares (2000 e 2002). The results highlighted a strategic fit by the companies, although environmental factors could be more strategically oriented. Despite the establishment of alliances not being a strategic practice, the relational perspective added value to the traditional perspective, contributing with new insights to the companies´ strategic decision making processes. The study also brought contributions to the mentioned strategy analysis models and to the management of public services concessions.

The hospital organization, as company, even so with its peculiarities, is not different. Although he is low the level of competitiveness in this area, the strategies are employees, at the very least, in the direction of survival of the same ones. The research objectified to verify the convenience and the chance of organizations, in special the hospital organizations, more than to adopt a generic strategy of Porter and to demonstrate as the correct implementation of the Management of the Quality finishes for benefiting the generic strategy adopted by the organization, making possible, also, to improve it. The most advanced concepts on the relations between the Management of the Quality are placed and the Strategical Management, showing the benefits that the organizations that better and more completely implement the Management of the Quality get and that if they evidence in the evolutions that its generic strategies obtain. A pesquisa objetivou verificar a conveni?ncia e a oportunidade das empresas, particularmente as organiza??es hospitalares, adotarem mais de uma estrat?gia gen?rica de Porter e demonstrar como a correta implementa??o da Gest?o da Qualidade acaba por beneficiar a estrat?gia gen?rica adotada pela organiza??o, possibilitando, inclusive, aprimor?-la. S?o colocados os mais avan?ados conceitos sobre as rela??es entre a Gest?o da Qualidade e a Gest?o Estrat?gica, explicitando os benef?cios que as organiza??es que melhor e mais aprofundadamente implementam a Gest?o da Qualidade obt?m e que se evidenciam nas evolu??es que suas estrat?gias gen?ricas conseguem. A pesquisa foi realizada no Hospital S?o Vicente de Paulo no munic?pio do Rio de Janeiro, no per?odo de julho a outubro de 2005. A abordagem metodol?gica utilizada foi a qualitativa, com ?nfase descritiva. Para este estudo de caso, a coleta dos dados foi efetuada atrav?s de entrevistas individuais em profundidade, utilizando-se um roteiro com quest?es abertas. Concluiu-se que a Qualidade complementa e refina a estrat?gia adotada, tornando-a mais caracterizada e depois proporcionando ? organiza??o que levou aquela implementa??o, o mais longe poss?vel, a capacidade de empregar ao mesmo tempo mais de uma ou todas as estrat?gias gen?ricas. O trabalho tamb?m exp?e como a implementa??o da Gest?o da Qualidade torna poss?vel ? organiza??o ao mesmo tempo competir com base no pre?o, na diferencia??o e no relacionamento.
