Strategické řízení ve vybrané obci / Strategic management in chosen municipality

This work deals with strategic management in a village called Borkovice a with the options and suggestions to improve current situation. In introductury theoretical part is described problematice of municipality and its management, cooperation of municipality with subjects from public sector, financial budget of municipality, problematic of strategic management with the most used analyses for rating of level of strategic management. At the beggining of application section there is described the current status of strategic management in Borkovice. This part of work is focused on strategic analyses PESTE analysis, SWOT analysis and there are also included two activities contained with the subscription of current status in village survey, guided interview with Borkovice´s major. Third part of application section is focused on characteristics of chosen subjects (municipalities Řepeč and Malšice) and usage of benchmarking to compare situation between Řepeč, Borkovice, Malšice. After that follows point evaluation and definition of stong and weak factors of municipality Borkovice. The last part includes suggestions to change current status and eliminate weaknesses of municipality Borkovice.

The main goal of this Master´s Thesis is to analyze the risks of quality management in manufacturing branch of BTL zdravotnická technika, a.s. The introduction part is summarization of important terms from the field of management quality, risk management and metrology. Analysis of the current risk management is a part of the practical part of this Master´s Thesis. The key part of this Thesis is identification of risks in the metrology field and their analysis. For the analysis was used FMEA methodology. The outcome is a register of risk which is valuable for this Thesis as well as for the company. Suggestion for improvements for the critical risks are introduces at the end of this Thesis.

In my graduation thesis I was interested in personnel activities in company Servant, a. s. This company offers logistic services. First I described this firm, then I analysed each personnel activity and I found some problems and made a suggestions for better situation in firm. During my graduation thesis I gathered information from expert literature, from firm's documents and from information which I extracted from personal interview with firm's employee. I think that this company has some problems in personnel activities but in my opinion it works positively.

The diploma thesis focuses on the issues of risks in manufacture company from the prospective occupational health and safety at work (OHS). The first part of the diploma thesis contains theoretical background of the OHS process then proceeds with analysis and corresponding risks identification. There are suggested solutions on the concrete examples in the model company which completely eliminate discovered risks or at least reduce them. The final part of the diploma thesis summarizes conclusions and presents recommendations.

En central del i patientsäkerhetsarbetet inom hälso- och sjukvård är att personalen rapporterar risker och avvikelser som upptäcks i verksamheten. En avvikelse är ett faktum när verksamheten inte når upp till satta mål och krav utifrån lagar, föreskrifter och beslut och kan vara allt från småstrul som tar tid från patientarbete till en allvarlig skada som inträffar (SOSFS 2011:9) Att ständigt arbeta med förbättringar är ett måste för att anpassa verksamheten utifrån nya uppkomna behov krav och förutsättningar. Att ständigt identifierade brister och ta tillvara på medarbetares förslag till förbättring, samt sträva efter en samsyn är förutsättningar som krävs för att verksamheten ständigt ska förbättras. Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur man använder rapporterade avvikelser som underlag till att förbättra sin verksamhet samt vilka förutsättningar som krävs för att arbeta med avvikelser på ett systematiskt sätt. Studien utgörs av flervalsmetodforskning där data samlats in via semistrukturerade intervjuer med tre vårdenhetschefer inom en verksamhet för att få en fördjupad förståelse av förutsättningar och utmaningar med att använda avvikelser för att förbättra sin verksamhet. För att få en förstärkt och bredare bild av studiens frågeställningar kompletterades datainsamlingen med en enkät där 60 medarbetare inom fyra vårdenheter svarat. Empirisk data analyserades genom tematisk analys. I resultatet framkommer fem övergripande tema som både chefer och medarbetare identifierat som viktiga förutsättningar för att förbättra sin verksamhet med grund i avvikelser; Samsyn, Struktur, Chefens stöd, Lärande och Medarbetares delaktighet som även inkluderar fler underliggande identifierade subteman. Utmaningar identifierades som tre övergripande tema; Fokus på rätt sak, Prioritering av tid samt Integrera förbättringsarbetet i det dagliga arbetet. En av frågeställningarna handlade också om hur medarbetares förslag till förbättring fångas upp och resulterade i intressanta reflektioner både hos medarbetare och chefer. / A central aspect of patient safety work within healthcare is for the staff to report risks and deviations. A deviation occurs when healthcare fails to meet set goals and requirements according to laws, regulations, and decisions. It may include minor issues that take time away from patient, to serious incidents causing harm (SOSFS 2011:9). Continuous improvements are necessary to adapt the care unit based on new emerging needs and conditions. Constantly identifying shortcomings, make use of employees' improvement suggestions, and striving for consensus are prerequisites for continuous improvement in care units. This study aimed to investigate how reported deviations are utilized as a basis for improving operations, as well as the prerequisites for working with deviations in a systematic manner. The study was designed as a mixed-methods research design, with data collected through semi-structured interviews with three unit managers within a healthcare organization to gain an deepened understanding of the prerequisites and challenges associated with using deviations to improve care units. Data collection was complemented with a survey in which 60 employees from four units responded to enhance and broaden the understanding of the research questions. Empirical data were analyzed through thematic analysis. The results showed five overarching themes that both managers and employees identified as important prerequisites for improving operations based on deviations: Consensus, Structure, Managerial Support, Learning, and Employee involvement, including several underlying subthemes. Challenges were identified in three overarching themes: Focus on the right things, Time prioritization, and Integrating improvement work into daily operations. One of the research questions also focused on how employees' improvement suggestions are captured, resulting in interesting reflections among both employees and managers

The situation that China's pensions cannot cover the expenditure is becoming more and more serious. On the one hand, it is to increase the rate of return of enterprise annuities. On the other hand, it is to increase the participation rate of enterprise annuities. In order to improve the participation rate of enterprise annuity, it is of great significance to solve the problem of insufficient funds of enterprise annuity from the aspect of supply. Based on this, this dissertation conducts detailed research, focusing on the impact of relevant factors on the participation rate of enterprise annuity from the enterprise level and the individual level. After making a detailed overview of the situation of domestic enterprise annuity, this dissertation analyzes the influencing factors of the participation rate of enterprise annuity of China based on the latest nationally representative micro data CHIP 2018. The analysis uses the "bivariate Probit model", that is, the enterprise level and the individual level, employing 0-1 bivariate as the dependent variables and employee income, employee education, employee gender, enterprise income as independent variables. The analysis also includes other control variables. The empirical evidence found that employee income, employee education, and employee gender have impacts on employee participation in enterprise annuity; enterprise ownership, company income, and the industry in which the company is located have impacts on whether the enterprise establishes an enterprise annuity plan. In addition, there are differences in the state-owned system and private system and industry differences on the establishment of enterprise annuity plans. Title: Selected motivational aspects for beginners and advanced in karate Aim: The main aim of my thesis was to learn how the current poor popularity of karate sport influences students of elementary and secondary schools in Prague and its surroundings and their motivation in this sport for achievements and at the same time to suggest how to furthermore support and expand motivation with these students. Methods: To gain information and data for this thesis I used survey methods and its specially designed questionnaire. Further additional interviews were used with advanced karate students with the highest ambitions and with former Czech Republic karate representatives (2006-2013) and compared with motivational aspect with these two different generations of athletes. There was second specially designed questionnaire for these additional interviews with a possibility for free answers. Results: Through the survey the differences in motivational aspects at beginners and advanced in karate were found and with additional interviews differences were found in ambitions and motivational aspects among former Czech Republic karate representatives and current advanced students with high ambitions in karate. Intern materialhantering är ett ofta bortglömt område inom logistik, ett ämnesområde som annars i takt med den snabba och globala utvecklingen har fått ökad uppmärksamhet de senaste åren. I detta examensarbete studeras den interna materialhanteringen på Fläkt Woods ABs fabrik i Jönköping begränsat till flödet mellan godsmottagning och slutmontering. Syftet med fallstudien är att undersöka vilka problem som finns med den nuvarande interna materialhanteringen samt ge förbättringsförslag för hur den skulle kunna utvecklas för att minimera antalet produktionstopp orsakade av materialbrist. Studien har en abduktiv ansats där datainsamling genom dokumentation, observationer och intervjuer ligger till grund för en flödeskartläggning av tre produktgrupper som företaget bedömt vara mest intressanta att studera. Utifrån flödet identifieras möjliga problem och med hjälp av ett analytiskt ramverk klassificeras dessa för att urskilja de problem som leder till produktionsstopp. Studien visar att dessa handlar om att komponenter av någon anledning är felaktiga/skadade, lagras in/plockas på ett felaktigt sätt eller att det sker felaktigheter vid godsmottagning med avseende på registrering och sortering. Genomförda litteraturstudier ligger till grund för ett teoretiskt ramverk innehållande principer som bör tas i beaktning vid arbetet med intern materialhantering. Ramverket är en utgångspunkt för de förbättringsförslag som tas fram för att lösa de problem som bedöms orsaka produktionsstopp. Övergripande sett hamnar förbättrings­­förslagen inom tre skilda områden. Det första området berör problem orsakade av mänskliga faktorer vilka kan minimeras genom ökad motivation, produktkunskap och helhets­förståelse. Område nummer två täcker fysisk förflyttning av material samt registrering av detta i affärssystemet vilket bör ske på ett standardiserat och mer säkert sätt. Det tredje området innefattar ett behov av utökad mätning och uppföljning av de problem som uppstår i flödet för att få ökad kontroll över vad som sker. Studenterna rekommenderar företaget att, förutom att implementera föreslagna förbättringar, också studera det teoretiska ramverket för att kunna tillämpa detta på ytterligare problem som studien har identifierat men som ligger utanför studiens omfång. / Internal material handling is an area within logistics that receive little attention. Logistics on the other hand has received increased attention in recent years due to the fast and global growth of markets. The aim for this report is to study the internal material handling at Fläkt Woods AB’s factory in Jönköping, Sweden. The study is limited to include activities from receiving goods until the start of final assembly. The purpose with this case study is to identify potential problem within the current setup of the internal material handling system and provide suggestions for improvements in order to minimize downtime in production caused by lack of material. Based on an abductive approach, the data collection performed via documents, observations and interviews lays the foundation for the compilation of a number of flowcharts. These flowcharts describe the flow for three separate product groups which the company previously has identified as most interesting to map. With the flowcharts as a starting point potential problems are identified and, with the use of an own-composed analytical framework, also classified in order to sort out problems that are likely to cause downtime in production. The study states that these problems originate from damaged/defective components, incorrect storing/picking or occur due to errors when recording and sorting newly arrived goods. Literature studies are the basis for a theoretical framework containing a number of principles that should be taken into consideration when handling material internally. This framework is the base on which the presented suggestions for improvements rely. The suggestions can be divided into three separate areas. Problems caused by human factors can be minimized by increased motivation, increased knowledge and a more comprehensive view within the workforce. All kinds of physical movement along with registration in the ERP-system should be conducted in a more standardized and secure way. A need of increased measuring and monitoring has also become evident in order to increase control over different types of undesirable events. Beside implementing the proposed suggestions for improvement the students also advice the company to study the theoretical framework in order to be able to apply it on other problems. This study identifies quite a few other problems, but due to the scope of the study they are not further analyzed.
