No. of bitstreams: 1 PDF - Leidson Allan Ferreira de Lucena.pdf: 2690352 bytes, checksum: af138cc1f96427cfccb006ba3e949852 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2012-02-17 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / Marine and coastal environments in the world have been facing in the last years a notable environmental degradation process. Macroalgae are the main constituent phytobenthics communities, and they are essentials to the establishment of balance and resilience these ecosystems. The mangroves swamps are coastal environments and may be ecotones, because they are an interposition of continental and marine environments overlap, in scalar patterns. The organisms found have become resistants with the strong transition that occur, such as Bostrychietum macroalgae, where they have formed the most homogeneous communities of mangroves swamps wide world. However, the mangrove swamps typically fall within one of two broad categories of classification: mainland or oceanic island. The mainland mangroves are home biological communities resistants with the strong phisico-chemical variations, and of oceanic island mangroves form on shallow banks or in lagoonal areas well separated from the mainland. In Brazil, mangroves swamps are solely of type mainland, which form the major area these forests in the coastal South America. This ecosystemic pattern is normally associate with fluvial systems – the estuaries, and is combined with many biological disorders, such as salinity and flooding tolerance. The estuarines environments which gives different environments in biological diversity, where can check trait plasticity between population. The estuaries can be classified in three categories: Positives, Low -Inflow and Negatives. Brazilian mangroves there are solely Positives Estuaries where the addition of freshwater river, discharge and thaw exceed the loss by evaporation or freezing, where longitudinal density gradients that drive a net volume output to the ocean. But in semi-arid region, Northeast of Brazil, there are some ecosystemics patterns. The estuarine-mangals show negative characters that are hypersaline and/or reverse, because the flow of freshwater systems are barely making them with a longitudinal density gradient with the opposite sign in relation the positive estuaries and salt concentrations rarely exceed 50. Two rivers (Casqueira and Shark rivers), located in setentrional coast of Rio Grande do Norte state, Macau city, have shown how negatives estuaries (hypersaline and reverse), and are composition species of macroalgae many specific and have a very dynamic environment. A pilot study conducted in April 2010 have been showing one ficoflora visually diverse, that have colonized muddy substrates in great abundance unusually and then resembles those typically found in marine environments typical. To contribute to the scientific knowledge of macroalgae found, this study has as main objective: to do a investigation about composition and structure macroalgae of two hypersaline mangroves, so to observe the effects of hipersalinity and physic-chemical patterns in the dynamics of algal communities. Therefore, this work establishes a comparative relationship between communities and population of seaweeds this environments.

Os gêneros discursivos no livro didático do ensino médio / The types of speech in high school workbooks

Lucimar Regina Santana Rodrigues 26 March 2007 (has links)
In the following study we will analyze the types of speech in high school workbooks and the perspective of an appropriate approach regarding the verbal and written modalities of the Portuguese language. The high school student must know how to efficiently use the language in every aspect of his/her life. This means the ability to read, interpret, produce and adapt to the different types of speech in which he/she will encounter in the most varied of social situations. Without a doubt, it is much easier for the student to gain access to the different types of speech with workbooks. The workbook has a very important role in day-to-day education. Criticism is often deserved in respect to the quality and utilization of workbooks in the classroom, but many times they are the main tool that the teacher has as well as being the main support by which the student has contact with the various types of text in the verbal and written modalities of the language. The workbooks present a large variety of speech types, but how can these different types be explored? Are the proposed exercises for the study of texts allowing the student to understand those that are related to immediate and verbal communication situations as well as those that are related to more complex situations? Starting from the analysis of three proposed high school workbooks, we will observe and discuss how the speech types are approached in the first year of high school from the theoretical perspectives of Bakhtin, Bronckart, Brandão, Marcuschi and others.

Study of the mechanical properties of the granitoid rocks and the influence of blasting parameters on the quality of aggregates : Literature Research

Kondelchuk, Dimitry, Novikov, Evgeny January 2005 (has links)
In order to carry out blasting operation with optimal results the influence of rock properties on fragmentation process and the quality of the aggregates should be studied with the proper thoroughness. Recent investigations of granitoid rocks infer that the resistance of rock to abrasion improves with increasing amount of quartz and feldspar. The increasing amount of mica results in the opposite effect. The resistance of granite to the impact effects improves with the increasing amount of mica and decreasing content of feldspar. Another finding states that flakiness positively influenced by the frequency of micro cracks, on the other hand, the increasing micro cracks frequency negatively affects on the rock strength. For practical reasons it can be concluded that safety blasting decreases the propagation of micro cracks, hence improves the quality of the rock material. To obtain desired quality of aggregates the blasting parameters and the types of explosives should be properly considered. This thesis work presents the review of the modern literature concerning the blasting operations and aggregates production. It combines both theoretical and practical parts. It describes the petrographical and mechanical properties of the granitoid rocks, different laboratory tests for mechanical properties and results, types and features of explosives, the parameters that intervene in blast designing and influence of blasting on rock aggregates. The rock mass properties greatly affect the blasting results and the quality of aggregates. However, it’s hard to extend this conclusion on full-scale blasting operations in mines and quarries, because the nature and properties of the rock mass change significantly over the short distances. / <p>Validerat; 20101217 (root)</p>

Tipološki pristup dimenzijama ideološke orijentacije / Typological approach to dimensions of ideological orientation

Selimović Alija 20 October 2014 (has links)
<p>Ispitivanje prikazano u radu problematizira relacije između ličnosti posmatrane sa tipolo&scaron;ke perspektive i ideologije obuhvaćene preko sistema vrijednosti, dru&scaron;tvenih stavova i religioznih uvjerenja. Dru&scaron;tveni stavovi i vrijednosti takođe su skromni prediktori političkog pona&scaron;anja, s tim da je prognoza ne&scaron;to bolja u slučaju predikcije glasanja za stranke desnog centra (SDA), gdje je moguće objasniti oko 20% varijanse glasačkog pona&scaron;anja.</p> / <p>This study discusses relation between personality from aspects of typological perspective and ideology determined as system of values, social attitudes and religious beliefs. The research was conducted on sample of 1046 respondents (65% female), aged from 18 to 74 years (average age 32,74 years). The instruments administrated in research were: Big Five plus Two (Velikih pet plus dva, VP+2), Schwartz Value Survey (PVQ), Eysenck&rsquo;s Inventory of Social Attitudes, Religious Beliefs Scale and Polarity Scale.<br />Clustering of Big Five plus Two (VP+2) inventory led to the categorization of personality to overcontrolled, undercontrolled and resilient type. The results showed that specific value profile is related to each type of personality. Resilient type is mostly related to the value cluster Openness to Change (Self direction and Stimulation) and Self-Transcendence (Universalism and Benevolence), while undercontrolled type is mostly related to value cluster Self-Enhancement (Power and Achievement). About 40% variance of values could be explained through personality types. Social attitudes Ethnocentrism and Liberalism are weakly associated with personality types. The same relation could be stated to religious beliefs and normative-humanistic orientation with personality types. Basically, personality operationalized through types or through dimensions either, has not showed as&nbsp;significant predictors of political behavior. Social attitudes and values are modest predictors of political behavior, although the prediction is somewhat better in case of prediction for right-wing parties (SDA), where is possible to explain about 20% of variance of political behavior</p>

A cartografia temática no estudo do turismo: o município de Santo Antônio do Pinhal (SP) / Thematic cartography in the study of tourism: township of Santo Antônio do Pinhal (SP)

Silva, Marinyl Ribeiro da 17 December 2010 (has links)
Tourism is an economic activity and social practice that is linked in multiple relationships with the society that vitalizes it. Analyzing a destination, a particular tourist site allows us to regard different perspectives. We seeked to focus this study in the geographical reading of the process that transformed tourism in an important vector for the production of space in the township of Santo Antônio do Pinhal (SP), destination we selected, among many others, that permits us to research and reveal every component, being it natural or social, which integrates the area used for tourism. Beginning from the townships foundation, we proceeded in search of understanding the relationships that configure history, spatial distribution and in which manner it emerges and is part of our current reality. We continued the investigation to view the possible paths of tourist activity and warn of potential predatory tourism. In order to reason about the possibilities and how the appropriation of space for tourism and tourism in the township itself, we learned to know and understand how this territory has developed. Both socioeconomic and environmental aspects were chosen to promote an understanding of how tourism elected Santo Antônio do Pinhal. From the analysis of selected variables and attributes, coupled with the chosen theoretical and methodological fundaments, we traced the goal in this study. We outlined a presentation of analytical and supportive maps for the research and cartographic treatment of the study area. This enabled us to draw up a map of synthesis, specifically of the types of landscape that could, through critical viewing, subsidize a preliminary proposal of tourist zoning for the township, based on an approach of thematic cartography. The present study allowed a connection capable of linking geography, cartography and tourism, permitting the formation of a structure of data and information that guided the research, to achieve our goal.

Playing Roles: Literati, Playwrights, and Female Performers in Yuan Theater

January 2019 (has links)
abstract: This dissertation investigates how Yuan zaju drama reshaped Chinese culture by bridging the gap between an inherently oral tradition of popular performance and the written tradition of literati, when traditional Chinese political, social, cultural structures underwent remarkable transformation under alien rule in the Yuan. It focuses on texts dated from the thirteenth to the fifteenth century by literati writers about playwrights and performers that have been treated by most scholars merely as sources of bio-bibliographical information. I interpret them, however, as cultural artifacts that reveal how Yuan drama caused a shift in the mentality of the elite. My study demonstrates that Yuan drama stimulated literati thought, redefined literati self-identity, and introduced a new significance to the act of writing and the function of text. Moreover, the emergence of a great number of successful female performers challenged the gendered roles of women that had been standardized by the traditional Confucian patriarchal system. This careful uncovering of overlooked materials contributes to a better understanding of the social and cultural world of early modern China. / Dissertation/Thesis / Doctoral Dissertation East Asian Languages and Civilizations 2019

The semantic analysis of advanced programming languages

Eades, Harley D., III 01 July 2014 (has links)
We live in a time where computing devices power essential systems of our society: our automobiles, our airplanes and even our medical services. In these safety-critical systems, bugs do not just cost money to fix; they have a potential to cause harm, even death. Therefore, software correctness is of paramount importance. Existing mainstream programming languages do not support software verification as part of their design, but rely on testing, and thus cannot completely rule out the possibility of bugs during software development. To fix this problem we must reshape the very foundation on which programming languages are based. Programming languages must support the ability to verify the correctness of the software developed in them, and this software verification must be possible using the same language the software is developed in. In the first half of this dissertation we introduce three new programming languages: Freedom of Speech, Separation of Proof from Program, and Dualized Type Theory. The Freedom of Speech language separates a logical fragment from of a general recursive programming language, but still allowing for the types of the logical fragment to depend on general recursive programs while maintaining logical consistency. Thus, obtaining the ability to verify properties of general recursion programs. Separation of Proof from Program builds on the Freedom of Speech languageby relieving several restrictions, and adding a number of extensions. Finally, Dualized Type Theory is a terminating functional programming language rich in constructive duality, and shows promise of being a logical foundation of induction and coninduction. These languages have the ability to verify properties of software, but how can we trust this verification? To be able to put our trust in these languages requires that the language be rigorously and mathematically defined so that the programming language itself can be studied as a mathematical object. Then we must show one very important property, logical consistency of the fragment of the programming language used to verify mathematical properties of the software. In the second half of this dissertation we introduce a well-known proof technique for showing logical consistency called hereditary substitution. Hereditary substitution shows promise of being less complex than existing proof techniques like the Tait-Girard Reducibility method. However, we are unsure which programming languages can be proved terminating using hereditary substitution. Our contribution to this line of work is the application of the hereditary substitution technique to predicative polymorphic programming languages, and the first proof of termination using hereditary substitution for a classical type theory.
