Jundia? was the city chosen for presenting diversity in the urbanization of favelas and in this work the interventions will be demonstrated through four nuclei: Jardins, S?o Camilo and Novo Horizonte, Parque Centen?rio and Vila Ana considering the period from 2010 to 2017. The research was developed from a theoretical review on the concept of urbanization of favelas in Brazil, the origins of the same, the municipal interventions in precarious settlements, considering the concepts post City Statute, demonstrating what is currently understood by urbanization of favelas in Brazil. The history of Jundia? was rescued with regard to housing of social interest and after, the previous and later projects were raised the interventions of the settlements studied as well as visits to the field to verify what was done. In this stage a detailed description of each intervention demonstrated through maps, plants and planialtimetric surveys was made. / A presente disserta??o busca, demonstrar uma experi?ncia municipal que utilizou recursos federais, ap?s o Estatuto da Cidade, nas interven??es de favelas propondo diferentes medidas e para isso, verificando as necessidades espec?ficas de cada assentamento prec?rio. Jundia? foi a cidade escolhida por apresentar diversidade na urbaniza??o de favelas e neste trabalho as interven??es ser?o demonstradas atrav?s de quatro n?cleos quais sejam: Jardins, S?o Camilo e Novo Horizonte, Parque Centen?rio e Vila Ana considerando o per?odo de 2010 ? 2017. A pesquisa desenvolveu-se a partir de uma revis?o te?rica sobre o conceito de urbaniza??o de favelas no Brasil, as origens das mesmas, as interven??es municipais em assentamentos prec?rios, considerando os conceitos p?s Estatuto da Cidade, demonstrando o que se entende atualmente por urbaniza??o de favelas no Brasil. Foi resgatada a hist?ria de Jundia? com rela??o ? habita??o de interesse social e ap?s, foram levantados os projetos anteriores e posteriores as interven??es dos assentamentos estudados bem como visitas ? campo para a verifica??o do que foi realizado. Nesta etapa foi feita uma descri??o detalhada de cada interven??o demonstradas atrav?s de mapas, plantas e levantamentos planialtim?tricos.

The challenger it becomes related evaluation of this process, as much of the point of the view of municipality, how much of the inhabitants, after the occurred changes of remove for the urbanization of the Santo Andr? city. To develop this objective one applies a documentary research and interview of verbal history. One of the main reasons that it justifies this study it is the recognized representation in the national and international level of the Projeto Integrado de Inclus?o Social-PIIS , currently called Santo Andr? Mais Igual , in quarrel and experience in management participation in projects of the slum upgrading in the slums urbanization in the country. / O objetivo deste trabalho ? analisar o processo de gest?o participativa na urbaniza??o da antiga favela Jardim Capuava e, a partir de julho de 2005, bairro Jardim Capuava em Santo Andr?, SP. O desafio relaciona-se ? avalia??o deste processo, tanto do ponto de vista da gest?o p?blica municipal, quanto dos moradores, ap?s as mudan?as de remanejamentos e reassentamentos ocorridas no n?cleo pela urbaniza??o da Prefeitura de Santo Andr?. Para desenvolver este objetivo, aplica-se uma pesquisa documental e entrevistas de hist?ria oral. Uma das raz?es principais que justifica este estudo ? a representatividade reconhecida em n?vel nacional e internacional do PIIS - Projeto Integrado de Inclus?o Social, atualmente denominado Santo Andr? Mais Igual, na discuss?o e experi?ncia em gest?o participativa em projetos de urbaniza??o de favela no pa?s.

This fact has been perpetuated during years and added the current social found problems in the large cities and contributed for the environmental degradation caused by irregular nestings. The Environmental Sensible Areas vary between environmental interests to risk areas. Beyond the predatory occupation of the urban spaces with intense urbanization without planning, the precarious nestings also contribute with the alteration of the vegetation, of the ground, hydro resources and even in the change of the microclimate, becoming also a risk to the health and the physical-mental integrity of the there resident population. These urban inadequacy must be prevented and avoided, reparable and compensatory measures with adjusted technologies must be adopted to solve the diverse problems of degradation. Ahead of such situation, it is necessary to know the public politics, especially the habitation ones, directed to equate the deriving problems of occupations and the programs and techniques of urban and environmental recovery. The city of Campinas, studied region, has similarities with other regions of Brazil, with innumerable nestings also in Environmental Sensible Areas, being, therefore, a representative case. / Ao longo da hist?ria do urbanismo brasileiro, observamos a aus?ncia do Estado com medidas mais eficazes para atender ? demanda por habita??o. Esse fato se perpetuou durante os anos e, somado com os atuais problemas sociais encontrados nas grandes , contribuiu para a degrada??o ambiental ocasionada por assentamentos irregulares. As ?reas Ambientalmente Sens?veis variam entre de interesse ambiental a ?reas de risco. Al?m da ocupa??o predat?ria dos espa?os urbanos com intensa urbaniza??o sem planejamento, os assentamentos prec?rios tamb?m contribuem com a altera??o da vegeta??o, do solo, recursos h?dricos e at? na mudan?a do microclima, tornando-se inclusive risco ? sa?de e ? integridade f?sica e mental da popula??o ali residente. Essas inadequa??es urbanas devem ser evitadas, e medidas mitigadoras, reparat?rias e compensat?rias com tecnologias adequadas devem ser adotadas para solucionar os diversos problemas de degrada??o. Diante de tal situa??o, ? necess?rio conhecer as pol?ticas p?blicas, especialmente as habitacionais, voltadas para equacionar os problemas oriundos das ocupa??es e os programas e t?cnicas de recupera??o urbana e ambiental. A cidade de Campinas, regi?o estudada, tem similaridades com outras regi?es do Brasil, com in?meros assentamentos inclusive em ?reas Ambientalmente Sens?veis, sendo, portanto, um caso representativo.
