In the increasingly fierce international competition today, short product life cycle has led to lead time compression and narrow profit margins. Rapid respond to customers has become the key to survival of modern enterprises. Many large corporations in Taiwan have implemented the Toyota¡¦s just-in-time (JIT) production planning approach to reduce inventory to a minimum level, keeping on hand only the amount needed in production until the next order arrives. However, most of those companies have often overlooked that the basic principal of just-in-time replenishment model is the raw materials and other purchased items should be delivered steadily by the supplier when they are needed, and meanwhile those materials from suppliers require no inspection. Nevertheless, it is very difficult to achieve those objectives of JIT Production, especially in an increased market demand. Once some of the suppliers can not meet the delivery time of raw materials and quality is also affected, it would derive lots of problems.
This study is aimed to JIT replenishment models on examining firms¡¦ inventory issues. Based on the result of the analysis, it would be the reference to build up the model of quality-oriented embedding collaborative replenishment mechanism for enterprises to improve their JIT replenishment operations. This model, quality-oriented embedding collaborative replenishment model, could assist business in measuring the accurate and precise delivery time and ensuring product quality from suppliers.
The research is on the basis of Taiwan optoelectronic industry to investigate the companies of the TFT-LCD panel, and the supply chains of the industry. In analyzing the main TFT-LCD panel providers, the paper will probe into TFT-LCD firms to implement the inventory management system by building the quality-oriented embedding collaborative replenishment mechanism to improve the reaction capacity of businesses, to reduce the risk of raw material quality issues, and to respond to the market rapid change. The study exerts simulation software to conduct simulation and improvement of such models, then according to the simulation results to utilize them as a reference to implementation of quality-oriented embedding collaborative replenishment model into the future operation.

En el mundo, las industrias textiles y de la confección tienen una alta rotación y bajos márgenes industriales y su competitividad depende de servicios confiables de logística, transporte y entrega. Las empresas textiles peruanas enfrentan un gran problema con el suministro de materias primas, ya que tienen la necesidad de importar casi todos sus recursos, lo que causa altos costos logísticos. Las características distintivas de la logística de insumos textiles para pymes son la importación de materias primas de Asia, la concentración de productos estratégicos en unos pocos proveedores, los pedidos de materias primas en períodos fijos, el uso de correo electrónico y teléfono para finalizar acuerdos, revisión manual de existencias, falta de know-how con proveedores, uso de la orden de compra para verificar la orden, falta de clasificación de la materia prima en el almacén, inventario y rotura de stock. Ante el problema antes mencionado, se presenta un modelo estratégico de compra Lean basado en la aprobación de proveedores y 5s para mejorar la operatividad de las áreas involucradas. Se lleva a cabo una validación experimental en un estudio de caso que cumple con el perfil mencionado como PYME y fue posible demostrar la reducción de paradas no programadas en 9, 12 y 15 en los meses de agosto, setiembre y octubre de 2019, respectivamente, y contribuciones financieras para la organización de un VPN de S /. 3030.18 y una TIR del 29.38%. / In the world, the textile and clothing industries have high turnover and low industrial margins and their competitiveness depends on reliable logistics, transportation and delivery services. Peruvian textile companies face a major problem with the supply of raw materials, since they have the need to import almost all of their resources, which causes high logistics costs. The distinctive characteristics of the logistics of textile inputs for SMEs are the import of raw materials from Asia, the concentration of strategic products in a few suppliers, the orders of raw materials in fixed periods, the use of email and telephone to finalize agreements, manual review of stocks, lack of know-how with suppliers, use of the purchase order to verify the order, lack of classification of the raw material in the warehouse, inventory and stock breakage. Given the aforementioned problem, a strategic Lean purchasing model is presented based on the approval of suppliers and 5s to improve the operability of the areas involved. An experimental validation is carried out in a case study that complies with the profile mentioned as SMEs and it was possible to demonstrate the reduction of unscheduled stops in 9, 12 and 15 in the months of August, September and October 2019, respectively, and financial contributions for the organization of a VPN of S /. 3030.18 and an IRR of 29.38%. / Tesis

O gerenciamento de riscos da cadeia de suprimentos consiste na identificação e na gestão dos riscos da cadeia de suprimentos com a finalidade de se reduzir vulnerabilidades na cadeia de suprimentos. O objetivo da auditoria interna é realizar recomendações de modo que se promovam a eficiência e a eficácia das operações e auxiliar a organização a atingir os objetivos do negócio e, dessa forma, corrobora com a gestão de riscos. Esta dissertação tem em vista o problema de gestão de clientes de uma empresa do ramo de gases industriais e medicinais. A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar a gestão de suprimentos desta empresa mostrando que, por meio da segmentação de clientes aplicando técnica Holt-Winters (HW) de previsão de demanda, é possível obterem-se reduções de custos logísticos ao se utilizar da gestão por Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Supply Chain Risk Management relies on the identification and management of supply chain risks in order to reduce vulnerabilities along the supply chain. The purpose of internal auditing is to make recommendations that promote the efficiency and effectiveness of operations that can help the organization to achieve business goals and thereby corroborate with risk management. The purpose of this research is to analyze the supply management being adequately provisioned to customers showing that with the use of Holt-Winters (HW) demand-forecasting it is possible to highlight the customers with the implementation of the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) method in order to reduce logistics costs. The results present an overview of how and what can be done by internal audit, in order that academic researchers and managers can benefit from this work by using the concepts and content brought together in the document as a subsidy to further studies, audit practices and overall risk management. Gains related to the cost reduction were also obtained within the studied corporation, reinforcing the contribution of this study s results to the industry.

El presente artículo tiene la finalidad de abordar el caso de una empresa pyme del sector vitivinícola, la cual tiene como principal problema el incumplimiento de pedidos a los clientes. Entre las causas que ocasionan este problema está la falta de materia prima disponible debido a una inadecuada planificación al momento de realizar las órdenes de compras al proveedor, lo que afecta la gestión de inventarios de la empresa. Asimismo, otras causas son el retraso del proveedor en la entrega de la materia prima y la entrega de la materia prima con defectos. Esto se debe a una mala elección del proveedor idóneo y a que la empresa solo cuenta con un proveedor en la actualidad, lo cual afecta la producción y la atención de los pedidos de los clientes en el plazo establecido. A partir de esto, se realizaron estudios donde se propone implementar un modelo de gestión basado en MRP, orientado a la gestión de abastecimiento y AHP, orientado a la gestión de proveedores; con la finalidad de reducir el porcentaje de incumplimiento en un 10% con respecto a los pedidos demandados y mantener una mejora sustantiva de la confiabilidad de los clientes y proveedores hacia la empresa. / The objective of this article is to address the case of an SME company in the wine sector, whose main problem is the non-fulfillment of customer orders. Among the reasons that cause this problem is the lack of available raw material due to inadequate planning when making the purchase orders to the supplier, which affects the company's inventory management. Also, other causes are the delay of the supplier in the delivery of the raw material and the delivery of the raw material with defects. This is due to an inappropriate choice of the optimal supplier and the fact that the company currently only has one supplier, which affects production and the fulfillment of customer orders within the established time frame.
