The problem of this research study was to identify the status of home visitations as a part of Vocational Homemaking Education in Texas as perceived by useful homemaking teachers. The study had a twofold purpose. The first was to develop and validate a survey instrument which would address specific concerns related to home visitations and which may be used as a model for future research studies in Vocational Education. The second was to survey a random sample of useful homemaking teachers in Texas to identify the perceived status of home visitations. Findings indicated that useful homemaking teachers believe home visitations should continue to be a part of homemaking programs, although they are not satisfied with the current status of home visits. The teachers did not perceive home visits as they now exist to be important to the total homemaking program and believed the program would be effective without home visits. Nevertheless, a majority of the homemaking teachers indicated that they would make home visits even if no conference period were provided for the purpose of visits and that they currently make home visits at times other than the designated visitation period. Approximately 40 per cent of the teachers reported they expected to visit only 25 per cent or less of their students by the end of the school year. Scheduling home visits was identified as the major difficulty by a very high percentage of the homemaking teachers.

A pesquisa busca ainda verificar e compreender o modo como aconteciam as visitações empreendidas às Ordens Terceiras do Carmo pelos frades regulares, sendo eles os responsáveis pela orientação e punição aos irmãos que se desviassem do cumprimento das regras estabelecidas nos estatutos; assim como por cobrar dos mesários a administração espiritual e temporal própria da congregação Carmelita. / Cette recherche a pour son but l’étude du développement des Tiers-Ordres du Carmel siégés dans les villes de Vila Rica et de Mariana. Notre étude examine l’institution et l’administration de ces ordres entrepris par les terciaires desdites villes ; on met en évidence les exigences démandées aux membres, la préparation des novices ainsi que les rituels promus par les associations. On prétend encore vérifier et comprendre la façon dont se passaient les visitations rendues aux Tiers-Ordres du Carmel par les moines réguliers, ceux-ci responsables de l’orientation, voire de la punition des frères qui ne respectaient pas les règles établies par les statuts, aussi bien que de requérir des membres du conseil d’administration les directions spirituelle et temporelle adéquates à la congrégation du Carmel.

<p>The purpose of this essay was to enhance the understanding and knowledge about phenomenon access support. Access support means that a third person (contact person) must be present during access visits between a child and its parent, if it is necessary for the child’s security or because the child needs support. The study was based on qualitative interviews with four contact persons and two professional social workers, whose main task have been to support and, partially, coordinate the work of contact persons. During the interviews I put the focus on participant’s experiences and thoughts about the phenomenon access support. Two theoretical perspectives were used to analyze the empirical material. These were an experiential perspective and role perspective. The results showed that being a contact person required certain personal qualities and strategies for managing different situations during access. Generally, the access situations are often affected by problems between divorced parents and the lack of cooperation with other institutions, especially with the court. Parents and children can have different expectations of access support. Nevertheless, participants find the work as access support meaningful and valuable in terms of life experience.</p>

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo estudar o cuidado na prática pastoral desenvolvida frente às pessoas com o HIV e AIDS e assim enriquecê-la através da leitura de textos que refletem sobre esta prática. Na leitura buscouse uma abordagem interdisciplinar. O estudo pergunta pela Igreja, considerando que as pessoas com o HIV e AIDS, são parte de seu corpo. Buscando assim, pelo posicionamento das igrejas avaliar a postura que as mesmas deveriam assumir no enfrentamento da epidemia. No confronto com a literatura, numa leitura crítica tenta dar pistas, ser auxílio para o cuidador na sua prática pastoral. Cuidando da vida cuidar de si, cuidar do outro, ser cuidado por Deus, assim termina este primeiro momento. Na descrição da prática pastoral desenvolvida no Hospital Centenário de São Leopoldo-RS, hospital público, é apresentada a formação de visitadores e a organização do serviço de visitação espiritual no hospital. Por fim este estudo quer destacar os desafios que a doença coloca para as igrejas como comunidades de fé, como cristãos pessoas individuais e sociedade. Vê a necessidade da Igreja em redescobrir a si mesma, sua teologia, os meios da palavra que lhe foram concedidas, em como acolher, ouvir, perdoar, tocar, permitir a vida, ser fiel ao seu chamado hoje e permitindo a cura da vida. / This study aimed to reflect the care in the pastoral practice developed with the people who live with HIV/Aids and enrich it with texts that reflect on this practice. In this study an interdisciplinary approach was used. The study also reflects about the church, considering that the people, who live with HIV/Aids, are parts its body. In this perspective the question about the persons position as well as the position of the Church in combating the epidemic was raised. By revising the literature, a critical reading has been done, looking for ways to help the caregiver in his/her pastoral practice. Taking care of life, taking care of himself, taking care of another and be cared by God thats how this first moment envy. The description of the pastoral practice developed at the public hospital Hospital Centenário in São Leopoldo, RS, is introduced with the training of visitors and the organization of the spiritual visitation in the hospital. Lastly, this study intent to show the challenges that the illness (sickness) brings to the Church as a faith community, Christians individual persons and society. There is a need for the Church to reflect about herself, her theology; the ways the Word was conceded, how to care, listen, forgive, touch, and allow life and to be faithful to her call today, allowing the cure of life.

Bispos, agentes inquisitoriais e representantes da Coroa portuguesa produziram uma série de documentos entre 1717 e 1802 que permitem perscrutar o cotidiano das Minas Setecentistas. As principais problemáticas do estudo são: quem eram estes mágicos? Qual sua relação com a população das Minas? Quais as solidariedades e conflitos que estabeleceram através de suas práticas? / This master’s thesis seeks to clarify the established relation between those practicing magic - healers, faith healers, soothsayers and sorceresses - and colonial society through Ecclesiastical Visitations that have swept the inside of the region of Minas during the eighteenth century. Bishops, inquisitorial agents and representatives of the Portuguese Crown produced a series of documents between 1717 and 1802 that allow to peer into the daily life of eighteenth-century in Minas. The main issues of the study are: who were these magicians? What is their relationship with the population of Minas? What solidarities and conflicts they have established through their practices?
