This paper deals with curriculum based on the Pedagogical Practices of Young and Adult Education-EJA, which has as its point of departure the analysis of how knowledge and experience of the established teachers acting in a municipal school interconnect themselves taking into consideration their educational-political formation. This action, spent in a rural settlement in Flor?nia/RN, gets support on a Collab orative Investigation of interpretative/reflective character in which EJA teachers think over conceptions and concepts inscribed in curriculum references rebuilding conceptions concerning their personal identities as EJA rural teachers. We take as guideway the presupposition of two logics influencing the curriculum configuration inside EJA Francisca Leon?sia Cruz Municipal School. On the one hand, the one directed by Education Municipal Department (SME); on the other hand, that other brought about by a social movement (MST), each one based on conflicting political proposals nourished on its own human social right conceptions developed by rural men and women. This work tries to comprehend the tensions and dilemmas of these teachers, their contradictory believes and values put together in the construction of a curriculum proposal. The deadlock faced in the curriculum referential, where principles and models are in dispute, permit to think over a curriculum proposal capable of meeting the exigencies of young and adult students established in a certain space of the public school.

Soziale Faktoren der Oper in Lemberg (L'viv)

Kyyanovska, Luba January 1999 (has links)
Jahrhunderts untersuchen will, muß man drei einzelne Geschichtsverläufe in Betracht ziehen.

Experi?ncias com casais inf?rteis que utilizam a medicina reprodutiva: um estudo psicanal?tico / Experiences with infertile couples that use reproductive medicine: a psychoanalytical study

Gasparini, Eliane Verginia Rovigatti 27 February 2007 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2016-04-04T18:29:35Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 Eliane Gasparini.pdf: 2989781 bytes, checksum: 336ce92e619721141fd7369dba5d739c (MD5) Previous issue date: 2007-02-27 / This study relates the emotional experiences of infertile couples who decided to seek help in reproductive treatment. The objectives were: to investigate and analyze the main emotional reactions experienced by couples during the fertility treatment; to study the consequences of the reproductive treatment in couple s bonds as well as their bonds with the medical staff and the psychologist; to understand the psychic representations of the desire to have children when associated to a reproductive treatment, and to describe the psychologist s impressions and emotional experience in regard to the couples subjected to the study. Six couples with different medical diagnosis for infertility, seeking for medical treatment for such a problem were surveyed as primary source of information. For the purpose of the study were used methods and techniques such as the psychoanalytical method applied to the couple group ? special group ? according to K?es (1977) and Anzieu (1993), as well as he technique of non-directive interview of Bleger (1993), and the projective technique of free drawings. The technique of content analysis proposed by Mathieu (1967) and K?es (1977) was used to analyze the material collected. Psychoanalysis and group analysis theories were employed in the interpretation of couple s subjective experiences. From the analysis of the interviews and drawings, some elements in the couple s group mentality could be identified, among them the hipercatexization of the desire to have children. The difficulties associated to satisfying such desire unchained a regressive movement and also defensive reactions. The attempt to preserve omnipotent fantasies has compromised the process of tolerance to frustration and to the capacity to wait, or reformulation of the couple s projects. Persecutory-related anguishes were broken out, mainly in the elements of the couples whose personality aspects happened to be compromised the most. Infertility diagnosis as well as the various different fertility treatments led to the unstructuring of couple s bonds. We could observe the loss of intimacy and decrease in sexual desire after successive fertility treatments that break link between sexual intercourse and the reproductive act. Both the desire to transmit genetic heritage forward and the appreciation of biologic child are still part of couple s psychic representations. The biological-child, from the same blood, is the dreamt and idealized child. The satisfactory bond that the couple established with medical staff has interfered in how safe they feel and in their levels of hope and confidence that the fertility treatment will yield positive results. The majority of the couples managed to establish satisfactory bonds with the psychologist, using the interview session as a way to freely express their emotional experiences. The experience with infertile couples on one hand has allowed to increase their level of sensitivity in regard to the emotional phenomena associated to infertility, and on the other hand has helped such couples to think about appropriate means to deal with some problems that are a consequence of this situation. The method used in this study has assured good conditions for research and analysis once it has made possible the proper interpretation of the relationships between the elements of the couple, between the couple and the institution and of the couple and the psychologist. A work of such transference nature is based on the assumption that it is possible to understand the intensity of the psychic representations of the couple group. We recommend the creation of new environments where infertile couples can keep on freely discussing their desires, difficulties, fantasies and hopes, making it easier to understand the experiences originated from infertility. O filho biol?gico, do pr?prio sangue , ? o filho sonhado, idealizado.

Developed as an action of Educational Psychology, the proposal was constructed based on theoretical-methodological assumptions of cultural-historical Psychology by understanding that it provides support to the role of the psychologist in institutional settings. This study aimed to observe the extent to which an intervention that uses artistic modalities as mediators of the expressions of the subjects, supports teachers development, promoting awareness of themselves, of their professional role and commitment. The research consisted of two groups of teachers from two publics schools located in two cities in the countryside of S?o Paulo, Brazil. Our method is the Dialectical Materialism, which seeks to reveal the movement and contradictions in investigated phenomenon. The artistic expression which we worked with was circular dance. We used emotional experience and affective expressions to build our analysis based on the reflections of L.S. Vigotski. The results indicate that the negative affections are prevalent on teaching experience, characterized by the feeling of suffering experienced in different forms in the profession. However, dialectically, teachers also express positive affections regarding their profession, especially when they can see results and recognition from their work. We also verified that the use of circular dances as a mediator of the teachers affections proved to be a way to work with the intricate dynamics of relationships established in the schools. The data suggest that the dances with their gesture, choreography, movement and rhythm touch the sensitive dimension of teachers providing the reworking of their affective experience inside the school by the possibility of assigning new meanings and senses to their practice, to their lives and work conditions, and their role in education.

Flow Over A Circular Cylinder With A Flexible Splitter Plate

Shukla, Sanjay Kumar 05 1900 (has links)
Previous work on rigid splitter plates in the wake of a bluff body has shown that the primary vortex shedding can be suppressed for sufficiently long splitter plates. In the present work, we study the problem of a flexible splitter plate in the wake of a circular cylinder. In this case, the splitter plate can deform due to the fluid forces acting on it, and hence the communication between the two sides of the wake is not totally disrupted like in the rigid splitter plate case. In particular, we study two kinds of flexible splitter plates. In the first case, the splitter plate is rigid but is flexibly mounted (hinged) to the cylinder, while in the second case, the entire splitter plate is flexible. We are interested in both the dynamics of the splitter plate, if they do vibrate at all, and in the wake dynamics downstream of the flexible splitter plates. The main parameters in the problem are the splitter plate length (L) to cylinder diameter (D) ratio, the relative mass of the plate, the Reynolds number, and the stiffness and internal damping associated with the flexible plate. In our study, we investigate this problem in the limit where the stiffness and internal damping of the plate are negligible and hence are not parameters of interest. For the hinged-rigid splitter plate case, experiments show that the splitter plate oscillations increase with Reynolds numbers at low values of Re, and are found to reach a saturation amplitude level at higher Re. This type of saturation amplitude level that appears to continue indefinitely with Re, appears to be related to the fact that there is no structural restoring force in this case, and has been seen previously for elastically-mounted cylinders with no restoring force. In the present case, the saturation tip amplitude level can be up to 0.45D,where D is the cylinder diameter. For this hinged-rigid splitter plate case, it is found that the splitter plate length to cylinder diameter (L/D) ratio is crucial in determining the character and magnitude of the oscillations. For small splitter plate lengths (L/D ≤ 3.0), the oscillations appear to be nearly periodic with tip amplitudes of about 0.45D nearly independent of L/D. The non-dimensional oscillation frequencies (fD/U ) on the other hand are found to continuously vary with L/D from fD/U ≈ 0.2at L/D =1 to fD/U ≈ 0.1 at L/D = 3. As the splitter plate length is further increased beyond L/D ≥ 4.0, the character of the splitter plate oscillations suddenly changes. The oscillations become aperiodic with much smaller amplitudes. In this long splitter plate regime, the spectra of the oscillations become broadband, and are reminiscent of the change in character of the wake oscillations seen in the earlier fixed-rigid splitter plate case for L/D ≥ 5.0. It appears that the vortex shedding is nearly inhibited for L/D ≥ 4.0 in the present case. This is also supported by measurements of the wake vorticity field from Particle-Image Velocimetry (PIV). The phase-averaged PIV vorticity fields show that the strength of the shed vortices decreases rapidly as the splitter plate length increases. For longer splitter plates, L/D ≥ 4.0, the plate oscillations are no longer periodic, and hence it appears that the wake vortices are not synchronized with the splitter plate motions. For the entirely-flexible splitter plate case, the splitter plate deformations appear to be in the form of a travelling wave. In this case, the tip amplitudes are significantly larger of the order of 1.1D, and the non-dimensional oscillation frequency (fD/U )is close to 0.2, approximately the same as the Strouhal number for the bare cylinder. In sharp contrast to the hinged-rigid splitter plate case, the non-dimensional amplitude and frequency appear to be nearly independent of the normalized splitter plate length (L/D)even up to L/D =7.0. PIV measurements of the wake vorticity field indicates that there appears to be a nearly continuous sheet of vorticity on both sides of the flexible splitter plate, and the vortex sheet sheds and forms distinct vortices only at the trailing edge of the plate. The strength of these shed vortices appears to be close to that of the bare cylinder at similar Re. The results appear to suggest that in this entirely-flexible case, the vortices form at the same frequency and are of the same strength as in the bare cylinder case, but their formation is just pushed further downstream. This would suggest that in this case, the base suction and drag could be lower than the bare cylinder. Further, the formation of vortices further downstream of the body could imply that this type of flexible splitter plate could be useful to suppress vortex-induced vibrations (VIV).

Take the empirical universe as the Conjunto Santa Terezinha, located in Fortaleza- Ce. Initially, the study presents a reflection about the housing issue in Brazil and the informal settlementes in view of the Right to the City. In this sense, the main references are, the works of Suzanne Pasternak (2008), Nabil Bonduki (1998) and Erminia Maricato (1996-97), among others. Follows with the discussion of the concepts and classifications of this type of settlement, making a content analysis of legislation and regulations relating to accessibility and proposed the discussion of the accessible route as the right strategy for the city. In another step, the methodology of 'walking together' created by Dischinger (2000) was applied in a passage previously chosen, which the researcher follows the disabled person during the journey through city making records like photos and video. The comments and perceptions are compared to the spatial analysis of urban morphology, made from the method of Del Rio (1990) and Panerai (2006), and the parameters of NBR 9050. Knowledge of the area is enriched by the methodology of the production of space made by Henri Lefebvre in his book 'The production of space' (1974) with these categories: space conceived, perceived and lived. Another key reference of this author it s the book 'The Right to the City' (991), which allowed in-depth reflections on the social function of town. In conclusion, the study finds that to guarantee a minimum access conditions in informal sittlements it?s necessary to know the specifics of their morphology, their relations and urban practices in view of the visitability- experiencebility, describing it as complementary concepts / A presente pesquisa aborda o tema da acessibilidade em assentamentos informais, buscando identificar desafios e limites definidos por configura??es urbanas informais ? aplica??o de par?metros de acessibilidade.

This thesis focuses on a research proposal, with a research-action methodology, on the so-called be crazy, its corporeality and interpersonal relations established by these bodies and that are revealed in everyday scene of a psychiatric institution, when in direct contact with artistic processes of the instauration of scenes; always remembering that these bodies under the sign of madness deal with stigma. It is about finding the way of being bodily predominant by restrictions and disruption in the relationship that these people create with one another, with time and space. With that in mind, it is observed how these bodies are structured and how they move in social spaces that appear to be impregnated by an ideology of values, beliefs and prejudices acquired in the socio-historical process. The treatment of the insane is historically defined by a practice of exclusion and difference that makes the crazy a being destitute of reason and conscience, amoral and harmful, and thus discrimination is effected by control through the enclosure and/or exacerbated medication; The cruel marks of this oppressive ideology that characterizes the history of madness, where the crazy still occupies the place of the oppressed, are still visible in this research and perceived in gestures and oral and body expressions; the history of these bodies is personalized in narrated dramas and by the emotional charge impregnated in gestures, the tone of voice in speeches, songs and screams that are revealed in the everyday scene. Thus, this work proposes a link between madness and art and for this, we try to find connections between concepts and issues that permeate the theme of madness and creation processes, emphasizing the importance of the contact and of the human experience with the language of art through the contact with the residents of the Psychiatric Hospital Dr. Jo?o Machado, working together with Cruor Arte Contempor?nea, a permanent group of art and culture, from the DEART/UFRN (Art Department), a dramaturgy group from the N?cleo Transdisciplinar de Pesquisa em Artes C?nicas e Espetaculares (Interdisciplinary Center for Research on Performing and Spectacular Arts). Articulating art and madness in this study is linked to the experience obtained in the interaction of these bodies in the meetings. This is the relationship of these labeled and institutionalized bodies appointed as mentally ill, for having a record of enclosure in hospital stays, places termed madhouse, which contains a coercive social control culture. We investigate the encounter of the bodies of artists who bring in themselves the experience of art and, from there, we consider the possibility of an existential aesthetic of the relationship between body, space, time and movement in totalitarian institutions and in a wider sense, in conditions historically determined for the crazy, marked by abandonment and absence of this body, as well as the temporal and spatial disorientation. In order to study this scenario, we took advantage of the contribution of the Body Psychology added to an existential phenomenological reading and of the Analytical Psychology, by studying the meaning of the symbols in the relationship of the human with themselves and the environment. These theoretical perspectives presented were chosen for bringing contributions to the study of the human being in its symbolic, bodily and existential aspects, from the perspective of art. Such studies are essential to the construction of the phenomenological experience of the subject as a way of life in their relationship with themselves and the other through the experience of madness with the presence of art. During this investigative process, we understood that studying the current everyday scenes enthralled in the hospital Dr. Jo?o Machado by considering differentiated subjectivities as mentally disabled or people in psychological distress pervades the understanding that in today's society there are new forms of production of madness, e.g., new ways to be crazy, and therefore reaffirming that the manufacture of these emerging subjective ways of being crazy is social and historical and the art can show a way for this understanding. Then, it is possible to allow the plasticity and aesthetics to other forms of experiences, and "be" with openness to dare, create and reflect their issues, their strangeness, their adopted positions and places undertaken in the community. In this sense, by the art, in a space of health and science to produce knowledge about the real and the lived, with the artistic language of the performing arts, as this makes the human being being able to express and perceive the world in a more intense way. It was in sight to consider experiential and body pedagogies to handle the scenes and the bodies that circulate and are present in that institutionalized reality, and it was created, with some patients, the scenic instauration (Lou)Cure-se!!! [(Un)Heal Yourself!], presented to the public in July and August 2016, on the premises of the psychiatric hospital Dr. Jo?o Machado.

On numerical investigations of flow-induced vibration and heat transfer for flow around cylinders

Elbanhawy, Amr Yehia Hussein January 2011 (has links)
Vortex shedding is an important mechanism, by which the flow around bluff bodies create forces that excite vibratory motion. Vortex-induced vibration (VIV) is studied for a single circular cylinder by means of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations. An arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) formulation is used to achieve the grid deformation needed for VIV. In this thesis, a multifaceted approach is undertaken by which response dynamics and wake interaction are addressed. Four major aspects are considered in the study: the Reynolds number (Re); the mass and damping; the degree-of-freedom for VIV; and the mutual effect between VIV and heat transfer. As attention is paid towards high pre-critical Re flow, the turbulent flow around the cylinder is treated by two turbulence modelling approaches: unsteady Reynolds Averaged Navier Stokes (uRANS), and Large Eddy Simulation (LES). The wake-VIV interaction is analyzed by looking at mean velocities and Reynolds stresses, where decomposition of flow scales is undertaken to explore the evolution of coherent eddy structures, downstream of the cylinder. Conversely, the VIV response is analyzed by considering oscillation amplitude and frequency, in addition to the excitation and inertial dynamics.High turbulence in the separated shear layers disorders the cylinder's VIV response and induces higher amplitudes. The sensitivity for Re is found more pronounced in cylinders with low mass and damping. Meanwhile, VIV is found to enhance wake mixing, and to significantly change the near wake Reynolds stresses. It is suggested that the increase in Re brings a change to the wake patterns, which are known in VIV at lower Re. The kinetic energy production, of near wake eddy structures, is qualitatively altered with the presence of VIV. Furthermore, the surface heat flux is found to cause a noticeable increase in VIV amplitude, as long as it does not disorder the wake correlation. The cylinder's oscillation increases the average value of the Nusselt number (Nu), while the local variance of Nu rises markedly post-separation.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Karine Cambuy 1.pdf: 1927298 bytes, checksum: 0211d039e4c54ec656e3360e304de4d7 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2005-10-17 / This study had the purpose to ponder about the function of community health agent since the private experience of a group of agents of a Campinas Health Center, so in relation to the institutional dimension (as a integrated work to an interdisciplinar group) as in relation to the community dimension (as a work together the population). It is the qualitative research and it was used the phenomenological method to analyse the data. The research also had an ethnographical characteristic due to the insertion of the researcher in the field and through the heterogeneity of data. The participants universe consisted of all health agents (24 at the total) who work in a Health Center in South Region of Campinas City Council SP. Six community health agents were interviewed, one of each local group of reference of Family Health Program. The criterium of choice to the interviews was the effective relationship with the function of the agent. The instruments, which were used to collect the data, were: field diary and active non-directive interview. The declarations were encouraged by a direct (discharged) question about the meaning of community health agent for the interviewed people according to their experience. The interview was recorded with the consent of the participants. It was concluded that: 1) The work of a community health agent represents a great efficacy to the Health System; 2) For the agents to settle an entailment with the population and develop actions more effective close to it, it is important to have or develop some attitudes like: empathy, hearing availability, sheltering, ethics preoccupation, professionalism, to know how to approach the people, responsabilization and promisement; 3) The presence of the agent in the group represents an enlargement of the actions and knowledge changes; 4) The social role of community health agent is the aspect that makes much more difference from other professionals of the group; 5) There is a degree of a high personal satisfaction by the help that they can offer to the population. Based in the report about difficult experiences in the quotidian of agents, it was possible to show clearly some proposals to see this health worker in a better potential way; it is suggested that: I) It must exist a permanent capacitation, mainly in situations that carry emotional mobilization; II) It is considered important to delimitate the professional identity of the agent, even in and out the Institution in order to have people with more clarity of their professional role; III) It is necessary to hire professionals who can help with the administrative services inside the Institution to dispense the agents of this function and to power their community dimension; IV) The activities at the Family Health group need to be better integrated in order to permit affective changes among professionals; V) It is necessary to ponder about the hiring that considers important personal characteristics to the development of the function that consent a better form of remuneration for these professionals, for them to have perspective of continuity in the post of community health agent.
