In this study we examined dynamic visual acuity as a functional testing of the vestibulo- ocular reflex. Two groups were examined: 22 healthy seniors and 22 healthy young people as controls. We used two types of situations for testing: while walking on a treadmill at a speed of 2, 4 and 5 kmph, and with a subject's head passively moved in yaw and pitch plane. Visual acuity was measured with optotype charts (for the walking test it was a standard Snellen optotype chart at 6 m distance, for the test of head moves it was a Jaeger chart at 30 cm distance). The values obtained in these ways we related to values of a subject's static visual acuity, measured in the same conditions, just before the dynamic situations were examined. We found significant difference of dynamic visual acuity in senior group within each condition tested. We also found a significant decline as for difference of dynamic visual acuity in the senior group compared to young subjects - in the walking test at 4 and 5 kmph and in both head-moving conditions. These results indicate age-related impairment in function of vestibulo-ocular reflex. Based on our results, the test of passive head moves appears to be more suitable for ordinary clinical examination of dynamic visual acuity.

This diploma thesis concerns with creating of study which deals with the optimization of the ground network infrastructure of radio navigation aids for RNAV in FIR Praha. The thesis contains an analysis of concept of development of Czech navigation environment and introduces DEMETER software, in which the optimization analyses are realized. The thesis describes DME/DME navigation system from the perspective of individual components and parameters. The actual study deals with an optimization of the ground network infrastructure of the radio navigation aids and includes the definition of network performance requirements, creation of general methodology of optimization of navigation performance analysis and a procedure of choosing a suitable placement of radio navigation aid. The integral parts of the study are analyses of current state of navigation performance and analyses of possible improvement of radio navigation infrastructure.

Jarmila Jelínková - Self-devotion women motive showed on the "Breaking the waves" scenerply Abstract The article analyzes the character of Bess in the script of Lars von Trier and Vivian Nielsen's drama Breaking the Waves. The portrayal of Bess' behavior, life, and relationships to her husband, the church and God are interpreted from the perspective of feminist theology as introduced by Isabel Carter Heyward. The main message of the play is the parallel to Jesus' sacrifice of pure altruism leading towards physical self-destruction; other possible interpretations offered in the article are the images of self-sacrifice as a type of mystical obsession or as a type of internalized manipulation conveyed by means of discursive power. This work attempts to characterize internal modernization and international expansion of Russian speaking organized crime. Special emphasis is placed on the main stages of development of organized crime in the Soviet Union and its current state primarily in Russia and Ukraine. The paper proffer the new definition of modern forms of organized crime and different characteristics of regimes as for the relations between the state and organized crime (criminal syndicalism, mafia, state kleptocracy). The paper characterizes different types of international expansion of Russian speaking groups (regional expansion, global retirement and emigration). In this regard, research was focused primarily on the activities of the Russian speaking organized crime groups in the EU and the Czech Republic. In the last phase of the work I focused my research on some important measured how to reduce risk in the current conditions. Though the work is primarily devoted to organized crime from the CIS countries, it should be noted, modernization of organized crime everywhere in the world takes place by a similar manner. It was therefore necessary to briefly address the wider contextual issues. Working so many places highlights some aspects of the development of organized crime in Italy, USA , Czech Republic, Japan and China.

Diese „Vorgeschichte“ ist von Fachleuten verständlich geschrieben, soll die Geschichte dieser Gegend vor dem Jahr 1517 den Lesern verständlich näher bringen. Dieses Buch wendet sich an allen jetzigen und ehemaligen Bürger der Lommatzscher Pflege und weitere Natur- und Geschichtsinteressierte. Dieses Buch gibt Antworten auf: Wie entstanden unsere Gegend und unser Boden? Aus was besteht unser Löß? Wie ist er in die Lommatzscher Pflege gekommen (geschwommen oder geflogen)? Was befindet sich tief unter dem Löß? Wie wurde unsere Gegend geformt? Warum bevorzugten die ersten Menschen unser Gebiet und was wurde uns aus der Vorzeit hinterlassen? Was bot unsere Gegend den Menschen (beginnend bei den Jägern und Sammlern)? Wie lebten sie hier im Wandel der Zeiten? Warum bezeichnen sich diese Zeiten oft nach Materialien? Was war in dieser Zeit für die Menschen wichtig? Wie lebte man hier vor mehr als 500 Jahren? Wie wurde unsere Gegend verwaltet? Warum gab es hier so viele Adlige und Burgen? Wie lebten die Bauern hier? Welche Rolle spielten Kirchen und Klöster? Was passierte in der Welt als hier … und welcher Ort ist (etwa) gleich alt wie …? Einzelne Ereignisse unserer Gegend werden solchen in anderen Gegenden gegenüber gestellt. Wo in der Lommatzscher Pflege haben sich bestimmte Ereignisse konzentriert? Wann wurden unsere Orte erstmalig urkundlich erwähnt und was passierte zu dieser Zeit? Die „Vorgeschichte der Lommatzscher Pflege“ ist angelegt als Ergänzung bzw. Vorspann für alle vorhandenen und noch zu schaffenden Ortschroniken der Lommatzscher Pflege (wie z.B. unter der URL http://nbn-resolving.de/urn:nbn:de:bsz:14-qucosa2-75960 - online verfügbar und zitierfähig). Das Buch umfasst 120 Seiten (A4 quer) mit über 180 vorrangig farbigen Darstellungen. Erhaltene Fördermittel ermöglichten es, die Gestaltung /das Layout zu finanzieren.
