New City Baths in Brno The form follows its program and location. Mutual shift of both buildings creates garden's intimate atmosphere. Baths and winter garden are situated in building's upper part, services like hairdresser's, cosmetics and restaurants are available on the ground floor. Car parking lot is underground.

The Building is a combination of a green house and multi familyhousing building. The building´s courtyard is transformed in to a winter garden and creates an climate controlled environment with exotic vegitation blooming all year around. The courtyard is working as an extra livingroom with nice public walks in different levels were people can relax, exercise and socialise. The heat generated from the winter garden can be reused and recycled in to the floor slabs. It can also be deposited into the ground under the garden creating a climate smart heating system. One important aspect when drawing the plans was to give all the apartments a private space inside the wintergarden. I created plans where the allocation of the garden is equal. the private space is located on the second floor in the duplex apartments but some apartments only consist of one level and some extra care went in to making a private space for them too. The winter garden not only allows people to watch the trees and plants it also gives them the possibility to grow there own food on the private balcony and  just outside the kitchen window. Having plants outside the kitchen blocks the view from people passing by on the public promenade. / Byggnaden är en kombination av ett växthus och ett flerbostadshus. Byggnadens innergår har ett glastak som som möjliggör ett controllerat climat med växter som blommar året runt. innergården fungerar som ett extra vardagsrum med trevliga promenader i olika nivåer där människor kan träna, socialisera eller bara slapna av och njuta naturen. Värmen som genereras av den inglasade gården kan återanvändas och pupmas in i bjälklagen och marken under gården vilket skapar ett klimatsmart uppvärmningssystem.  en viktig aspekt när jag ritade planerna var att ge alla lägenheter ett privat rum inne i gården. Jag skapade planer där anspråket av gården var så lika som möjligt. Det privata rummet är placerat på övervåningen i etage lägenheterna men några lägenheter har bara ett plan vilket ledde till några special lösningar för att skapa ett avgränsat rum för dem också. Den ingalsade gården erbjuder inte bara en vacker miljö med växter och träd, det finns även möjlighet att odla sia egna frukter och grönsaker på den privata balkongen samt utanför köksfönstret. Planteringen av högre växter utanför fönstret kan skydda insynen från grannar som går förbi på den publika prommenaden.

The main aim of the thesis was to create design documentation, energyefficient terraced house in the village of Moravian Knínice. The proposed building will be located in the vacant space between buildings. Layout of the building is limited by the size of building lots located in hillside surrounding buildings, and orientation to the cardinal. The thesis deals with the layout, building and construction, buildings, so that it effectively uses renewable energy and efficiently work with them.

The most important resource is no longer the river, forest or mine - it is information, creativity and knowledge. Larger urban areas has transformed in to bigger cities with global perspectives, cities where we ́ve never before seen as much segregation and class differences. The smaller cities that once transformed Sweden from a poor peripheral nation to a country in the financial and social forefront, has been deprived of the possibility of being part of the knowledge economy. However, in this hierarchical transformation of the society the digitalization is forming a new type of center - an autonomous bomb goes off - and we all become our own center. This project explores the possibilities for a more decentralized society development, when the big cities is unable to deliver the perfect life setting for all. Smaller cities of the periphery is often beautifully situated and offers life qualities and spaces that many are longing for. Though, the last decades have been tough and left a lot of the smaller cities with a scattered and rough context – and a common lack of spaces to meet in. Therefore this project ended up becoming, what I imagine to be a new kind of symbolic building for meetings - that with its form, function and programme should express the new future of the periphery. The ambition is to introduce spaces which could act as a generator of a new time where the small towns get to be part of the knowledge economy, a time where people get to choose their own location of center through the tecnology of today. A future concept allowing the whole of Sweden to become more vibrant, connected to essential functions and filled with life - no matter the amount of people or the physical location of the place. / Den viktigaste råvaran är inte längre vår skog, gruva eller flod - utan dagens råvaror är information, kreativitet och kunskap. Större urbana platser har fått följa med sin tid och förvandlats till storstäder med globala perspektiv - städer där vi samtidigt aldrig skådat så stora skillnader i klasstillhörighet. Landets småstäder som i begynnelsen förvandlade Sverige från en fattig utkantsnation till ett land i framkant - har dock berövats möjligheten att vara en del av kunskapsekonomin. I detta hierarkiska samhällsbyggande kan vi dock genom digitaliseringen se ett nytt typ av centrum ta form - en autonomibomb smäller - och vi blir alla vårt eget centrum. Detta projekt utreder möjligheterna till en mer decentraliserande samhällsutveckling - när storstaden inte lyckas leverera den perfekta tillvaron till alla.

The first part of this diploma thesis is to design an energy-efficient hotel with restaurant and car parking. The second part is also to create an assessment of the energy performance of the building and usage of energy from renewable sources. Hotel is designed with the idea of „smart buildings“ which means, that all the technological background is controlled by the main computer, which also harvests data to achieve a minimum energy use and financial demand and maximum comfort and safety at the same time by controlling the connected technology. By placing on a sloped terrain in the center of Brno, the basement floor can be used as car parking. The roof of this building is flat, green, with modifications for placing solar panels, whose design is part of this work. The third part of this diploma thesis is the spatial acoustics of the conference room on the first ground floor.
