Communication organisante et agentivité à distance : le cas d'une station service en franchise / Organizational communication and agency at distance : the case of a franchised Highway Gas Service’s station

Quaram, Youness 14 November 2014 (has links)
Inscribed in Information and Communication Sciences and in particular in the field of the organizational communication, this research questions the practice of management at distance in contemporary organizations (franchise, subcontracting, joint-venture, etc.). From a field study realized in a Highway Gas Service’s station, it tries to answer three research questions: (1) To what extent can we say that the franchise is a form of management at distance and what are its characteristics? (2) What are the natures of the capacities of action – or textual agencies – that organize working routines in the studied gas station? (3) How do these capacities of action intervene during the conversational routines and what modes of organizational existence do they establish? This thesis sheds light on the strength of the action – or agency – at a distance exerted by management upon what say and do the members of an organization, through a conceptualization of distance and routines based on a the conversational and textual dynamic that organize those capacities of action. This thesis also renews our conception of the mode of existence of the firm and opens the debate on the forms of authority that contributes to widespread the franchise as a model of management at distance.

Singular limits in small amplitude regime for the Water-Waves equations

Mésognon-Gireau, Benoît 02 December 2015 (has links)
In this thesis, we study the behavior of the solutions of the Water-Waves equations in the rigid lid regime as the amplitude of the waves goes to zero. More precisely, the Water-Waves equations investigate the dynamic of a free surface fluid, bounded from below by a fixed bottom. The equations depends on many physical parameters, as the ratio epsilon between the wave amplitude and the deepness of the water. The rigid lid model consists in scaling the time by an epsilon factor and taking the limit epsilon goes to zero, simulating a situation where the amplitude of the waves goes to zero. The mathematical study of this limit correspond to a singular perturbation problem of a dispersive equation. In this thesis, we first use classical tools of hyperbolics equations to prove a long time existence result for the Water-Waves equations. We then prove a dispersion result for these equations, using stationary phase methods and Paley-Littlewood decomposition. We then combine these results to highlight the lack of compactness in the weak (but non strong) convergence of the solutions of the Water-Waves equations as the amplitude goes to zero.

Richard Swinburne's Inductive Argument for the Existence of God – A Critical Analysis

Beckman, Emma January 2008 (has links)
This essay discusses and criticizes Richard Swinburne's inductive argument for the existence of God. In his The Existence of God, Swinburne aims at showing that the existence of God is more probable than not. This is an argument taking into consideration the premises of all traditional arguments for the existence of God. Swinburne uses the phenomena and events that constitute the premises of these arguments as evidence in an attempt to show that his hypothesis is more probably true than nor. Swinburne pursues this task by way of applying Bayes' theorem. The aim of this essay is normative - to judge the strength of Swinburne's argument for the existence of God. My primary objections towards Swinburne is that he professes a subjective concept of probability, that he relies too heavily on simplicity as a virtue of plausible and probable hypotheses and that his concept of God involves an incoherent picture of God's nature. I question not only the actual success of Swinburne's project but what his argument, if it had been successful, would have been able to establish.

Možnosti autenticity a fenoménu Smrti na pozadí Starosti / POSSIBILITIES OF AUTHENTICITY AND THE PHENOMENON OF DEATH AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF WORRY

Kuklová, Pavlína January 2021 (has links)
The existence is substantially coexistence. Sharing does not detract the loneliness of fall and destiny (guilt and consistence) from his existence these days, the regression into dust (end of experience) fights for human dignity in the Shared Phenomena of Old Age and Dying, which step out from their inconspicuousness and are mirror to the (un)hiddenness of possibilities of authenticity and the phenomenon of Dead in the background of Worry. Existencially-existencial connection of human existence expose that the appetence (the reality) of the First Man, based on the anxiety )possibility of Dead) of the historically last Man of the present, becomes a historical trace of authenticity in the sense of unique horizontal possibilities. Keywords: authenticity, Heidegger, Hogen, ontology, existence, death.

Ontologicko-ontický rozvrh podmínek a předpokladů neautentického pobytu na příkladu neautenticky uměleckého díla / Ontological-ontic Concept of Conditions and Prerequisites of Inauthentic Dasein Demonstrated by the Example of Inauthentic Work of Art

Krcha, Martin January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with the issue of authentic or inauthentic work of art in the context of philosophy of authentic / inauthentic mode of existence (Dasein) as it was developed by Martin Heidegger in his Time and Being. The reason for addressing this issue is an effort to open the possibility of understanding authenticity or inauthenticity of individual Dasein in the manner which grasps it in the act of its performance, i.e. as a singular event. Thinking of authentic / inauthentic work of art demonstrates the limits of approach which understands authenticity only as certain originality or "selfness" which should belong to something authentic or inauthentic, almost like its accident. This thesis is therefore concerned with what is revealed if the concept of authenticity is transposed to a work of art. Since it is the subject who can make the act of performance of authenticity happen, the author and the recipient of the authentic / inauthentic work of art are problematized as well. When dealing with the work of art with respect to its temporality (historicality) or its being, the thesis also provides room for the issue of perception of the work of art. The resemblance of the author and the recipient is thus revealed and so is the necessity to learn to see not only artworks as such but to see them...

Člověk a pohyb: status pohybů lidské existence v myšlení Jana Patočky / Human being and a movement: Status of the movements of human existence in the thinking of Jan Patočka

Nováková, Alžběta January 2016 (has links)
The work is focused on the evolution of Patočka's conception of movements of the human existence throughout his thoughts. My aim is to show sources of this conception, its explicite expressions and their structure and finally the meaning of this conception for the human life and its status in Patočka's whole-life philosophical project, all this by the analysis of three metodologically defined periods of Patočka's work. The inevitable past of this kind of rethinking of Patočka's conception is dealing with the question of succesion of his two great teachers, Edmund Husserl and Martin Heidegger, and showing, that his conception of movements of the human existence can't be explained simply from the polarity of uncritical bulilding on them, neither the complete refusing them. Also I would like to show the conceptional kinship with other thinkers of western philosophical tradition, whose selection is selective, but in my opinion meaningful. I also hope, that this rethinking of the conception of movements of the human existance will show the place, which belongs to Patočka's thougt in the western philosophical tradition and, first of all, it's meaning for human life. Key words Phenomenology, movement, existence, philosophy of history, authenticity

Zdánlivost - nový právní institut českého práva / Non-existence as a new institution of Czech law

Bláha, Václav January 2020 (has links)
Non-existence as a new institution of Czech law Abstract The aim of the thesis is to examine the institute of non-existence which is new in the Czech law. Therefore, the beginning of the thesis is arranged in order to make clear the chronological development of civil law in terms of wrongful conduct and/or wrongful legal act sanctions. Historically, the General Civil Code (ABGB) is of particular relevance. ABGB was an important civil code not only on our territory but also in Austria and other countries of the former Habsburg Monarchy. While the original text of this Code sanctioned wrongful legal acts by invalidity ("Ungültigkeit"), the 1916 amendment introduced another term into the Code, taken from the German Civil Code (BGB), and namely "Nichtigkeit". Although this term means "invalidity" as well, it was mistakenly translated into Czech by the word "nicotnost" (literally "nothingness" in English). In the thesis, the legal situation in the period from 1948 till 2014 is discussed briefly, mentioning in particular the Family Act which, commencing from 1998, included, in addition to the term "invalidity" (of marriage), also the term "non-existence" (of marriage) stating that no marriage is formed in these cases. The following part of the thesis deals with the applicable law. The problems of legal act, its...

Karaktärmekanikers påverkan av designen för spelvärldar

Ax, Lukas, Tallnäs, Alexander January 2020 (has links)
The following text is a study that addresses the relationships between phenomenology, queer, orientation, objects, existence, game- and leveldesign. The text dives into the creation of characters for games with a focus on philosophy and how it can be used to design games. The study addresses discussions about how in our design, how philosophy and thinking about being and even one's own "I" and how the perception of "the self" can influence design and whether it does so at all. The text addresses various methods used for design, but also methods for project management. In the research we also see if something happens in the decisions or in how we use the methods to produce the design. The study addresses various design philosophy authors in support of how thinking and interaction between aspects can take shape to create an entertaining experience that at the same time is exciting and mysterious. The Theory of Fun by Raph Koster is an example. In his book he presents various theories about how man and the game interact with each other, and what it is that makes the game "fun" to play.
