Spolupráce škol s vnějšími partnery v rozvoji environmentální gramotnosti žáků / Cooperation of schools and external partners on the development of environmental awareness among studentsFrýblová, Jitka January 2012 (has links)
This master thesis is concerned with current issues of educational politics, namely the integration of environmental aspects into the curriculums of grammar schools and high schools. Environmental education, and awareness raising has appeared in schools following the introduction of the framework education programme as one of its cross-curricular subjects, reflecting new social needs. While there lies a great potential for the development of our education system within cross-curricular subjects and framework education programmes, these also introduce new requirements for teachers, who are not always quite prepared for dealing with them. The introduction of external partners into education is one possible way of dealing with those requirements, as these external partners have many years of experience with ecology oriented education programmes and their methodical specifics. The presented master thesis familiarizes the reader with the individual forms of cooperation among schools and external partners and tries to generalize its pros and cons and outline the possibility of engaging external educational partners in teaching subjects other than environmental education. The paper deals with a multidisciplinary topic in which the findings of public policy, pedagogy, ethics and ecology intertwine. The...

Title: Problems of pupils of high school in solving geometric construction exercises Author: Miroslava Dyntarová Department: Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Education Supervisor: Mgr. Michal Zamboj, Ph.D., Department of Mathematics and Mathema- tical Education Abstract: The aim of this thesis is to reveal various errors and issues that high school students face in triangle construction problems. The thesis is divided into two parts for clarity. In the theoretical part we deal with construction problems in general and look into their various solution methods and formal procedures recommended by high school textbooks. Next, we focus on sets of points of a given property (that are part of the high school curriculum), give related denitions, basic properties and use cases. For better understanding of the demonstrated problems the thesis is lled with au- xiliary graphs made in the program GeoGebra. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, we introduce various problems that are expected to occur during geometry con- struction problem solving by students themselves. Those were the main focus of the following study. The preparation of the study, its implementation and subsequent ana- lysis of collected data is described in the practical part of the thesis. Pracovní uplatnění absolventů středních škol z Jedličkova ústavu v Praze / Employability of Secondary School Graduates from the Jedlička´s Institute and Schools for physically disabled young people in PragueDRDOVÁ, Ivana January 2010 (has links)
In my thesis I deal with the issues related to disabled young people work opportunities in the job market. The extent of movement disability significantly affects the quality of human life, not excepting working integration. If handicapped people cannot realize their potential in an employment, it may impair their self-confidence and self-respect. Considering their specific needs and conditions resulting from the given handicap, such as wheelchair access to the workplace, lower education, bad accessibility of the workplace by public transport, slow working tempo, worsened ability to express oneself etc., such people may be qualified by the state as people endangered by social exclusion. The aim of this practical part of the thesis is to explore the employability of secondary school graduates from the Jedlička´s Institute and Schools in the job market and to monitor the expectations and barriers of employability of the students in the last year of secondary schools in the Jedlička´s Institute and Schools. On this basis the following hypotheses were formulated: 1. Students from the Jedlička´s Institute and Schools have unrealistic expectations in connection with their actual employability. 2. Students and Graduates from Jedlička´s Institute and Schools tend to continue to study so that they could postpone solving problems associated with their employment. The research proved the confirmation of the first and the second hypotheses. To test the validity of the hypotheses, the quantitative research was selected. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire, an analysis of documents and an structured interview.

Příprava žáků ZŠ ke zkouškám na SŠ / Elementary school pupilsś preparation for the secondary school enterance examinationŠvarcová, Michaela January 2012 (has links)
In this thesis we have tried to analyse 35 different tests, which make our entrance examination specimen sets for Year 5, 7 and 9. Some schools use the services of the 'Scio' company thus these tasks represent 52 written examinations from the subject of Czech language and literature. According to our findings the main emphasis of the tests is put on the lingual parts of the curriculum, especially on orthography. The applicants distinguish the sentences, in which there are (or are not) orthographic errors. They proof to have managed the lexical, morphological and syntactic orthography in simple and complex sentences well, primarily by correction and doing filling-in exercises. Apart from that, the tasks where the applicants have to work with text are used very often. They primarily decide whether the information given results from the particular passage, they examine the verity of the submitted statements about an article, etc. From the linguistic curriculum, the word class and the sentence constituents occur abundantly. Very often the applicant's competence regarding grammatically correct word forms are being tested - the pupils might create or recognize them or complete a part of the text. In many tests, we can find tasks in which the applicants search for synonyms (or antonyms) of Czech originated or...
