1 ABSTRACT The diploma work titled "The parents', teachers' and day care center staff view on possibility of placing two-year-old children in nursery schools" analyzes the specifics and problems of today's families with young children. It defines the concept of early childhood, describes a child's development at toddler age, and also characterizes today's toddler. The work is dedicated to the maturity of children for entry into nursery schools. Furthermore the diploma work describes the history and current problems of the care for children younger than three years in the Czech Republic in comparison with representative European countries. The diploma work is a survey focused on three categories of respondents' views on the possibility of inclusion of children from two years of age in nursery schools as a plan for future solution of the issue of systemic agenda of day care center for children under three years of age in the Czech Republic. The aim of the research was to find out how the surveyed parents, nursery workers and preschool teachers perceive the possibility of inclusion of two-year-old children in pre-primary educational institutions and whether today's two-year-old children are ripe for entry into nursery schools. Připravenost vybraných škol města České Budějovice na vznik mimořádné události / Emergency preparedness of schools of the city of České Budějovice

School readiness for an emergency situation should be one of the basic priorities for all employers and employees of these facilities. For this purpose, there was implemented a questionnaire survey with three types of questionnaires a questionnaire for school principals, teachers and students. The theoretical part deals with of legislative definition of emergency situation and terminology of concepts such as safety or emergency, emergency situation, an emergency threat, rescue and liquidation work, crisis situations, integrated rescue system, protection of the population and evacuation. Another chapter is the concept of public protection teaching , which is divided into periods before 1989 and after 1989. Within chapters population protection before 1989, we may include terms such as antiaircraft civil protection, civil defense and military training the concept of . Teaching in area of the population for emergencies in the Czech Republic after 1989 is divided into preschool education, elementary education, secondary education and university education. This chapter included preventive educational activities directed at the desired target group. Further chapters in the theoretical part of the thesis are Protection of Population and Concept of Population Protection. The last chapter was focused on the current state of schools in the Czech Republic, in the South Bohemian Region and in the city České Budějovice. The target of the research part was to assess the readiness of selected schools in the emergency situation. For the purpose of research were developed three types of questionnaires. The first questionnaire was designed for school principals and contained 26 questions. Questions have closed answers. The beginning of the questionnaire characterizes the research sample. Followed by the thematic block that deals with the evacuation plan and the subsequent evacuation. Further questions are aimed to asses the readiness of schools, teachers and students for the emergency situation. The last questions asks whether directors ward appreciated to retrain the teachers in the area of Human Protection in emergency situation. The second questionnaire was intended for teachers. It included 34 questions and was organized into two thematic sections. The questionnaire was a combination of open and closed questions. The beginning of the questionnaire characterizes the research sample. The first thematic section discusses about the evacuation plan, how often it is performed evacuation training, whether the school is working with the Integrated Rescue System, whether the students are acquainted with the recommended behavior when an emergency event is and how, whether teachers participate in training to protect the population, or which training or thematic area should bet he best for them. The second thematic section was focused on the teacher knowledges. The third questionnaire was for students and included 28 questions. The first three questions were used to gather information about the respondent. After the questionnaire was focused on the students' knowledge in the area of civil protection, fire protection, first aid, release of radioactive and chemical substances. Each area contained four questions. Another 3 questions were focused on the knowledge of phone numbers which students should know in case of emergency. The last issues examined whether and how they were pupils and students introduced with the recommended behavior in the course of an emergency event.In case of school principals was used as a qualitative method PAPI - Paper and Pen Interviewing. This method is based on personal interviews in which respondents' answers recorded in a printed, standardized questionnaire. In The questionnaire for teachers and students was used a quantitative methods of questionnaire survey. All results were entered into the Excel program, which is a part of the Microsoft Office software package and evaluated in graphs.

This thesis deals with the topics of value orientation, value of education and reasons for early-quits schools both generally and particularly focused on SOŠ and SOU Písek. The theoretical part defines basic terms such as value, and value orientation of adolescents and determinants which influence the youth´s values. Furthermore, the thesis describes the system of higher secondary education in the Czech Republic and selected EU countries. It introduces the strategy of education policy to year 2020 and depicts the present situation at SOŠ and SOU Písek. The matter of concentration is occurrence of early-quits schools in the Czech Republic in comparison with selected EU countries. Moreover, the thesis presents findings of some Czech as well as international researches. The practical part goes into the empiric research which is focused on values of education and practical reasons of early-quits school at SOŠ and SOU Písek. The research particularly investigates the fact whether these students find education important and what the practical reasons of early-quits are at this school.

The aim of this thesis is evaluate the development of the inner peripheral regions of the Czech Republic between years 2001 and 2011 in terms of internal resources (human and social potential, demographics) of these location. In the theoretical part were described differences between peripheral and core regions, the specifics of peripheral regions, their formation and how the periphery can act on human and social capital. In the practical part we set five hypotheses that we used for evaluate developments. These hypotheses were focused on the Index of aging, Index of total dependency ratio, education, employment and commuting residents to work and school. The results were evaluated not only between the inner peripheral regions but also between peripherals and other regions.

Využití tabletu v interaktivním vyučování / Use of the tablet in an interactive teaching

This thesis deals with the problematic of the tablet usage in an interactive teaching. The first chapter is devoted to interactive teaching at all. The second and third chapters are dedicated to a detailed description of tablet category. Both parts explain functions, technical details and key features. The fourth and fifth chapter narrate how interactive whiteboards and electronic voting equipment might be used in classrooms and other education process. The following chapter six is related to the issues of connectivity between tablet and interactive whiteboard. The seventh part narrates software and tutorials suitable for the teaching process. The eighth part consists of exact and specific examples of lessons, where interactive elements were used. The last ninth chapter investigates the technical school equipment and their access to interactive teaching. The conclusion summarizes which goals and aims of the thesis were reached.

Last but not least, closer to the ties of labor market, it covers the unemployment and status of university graduates on the labor market. The research focused on finding employment of graduates of leisure education from Faculty of Theology of University of South Bohemia on the czech labor market in relation to this field, their preparation for practice and obtaining their opinions about that field of study.

Diploma thesis "Content issues of teaching civic education through the changes of time (with focus on professional journals dealing with civic education)" is dealing with an evolution of a content of civic education in the 20th and at the beginning of the 21st century on pages of professional-oriented journals. The first part of the diploma thesis deals with the history of civics. It describes the evolution since the establishment of civics in Czechoslovakia until the evolution after the Velvet Revolution in the Czech Republic. The second part of the diploma thesis introduces five journals devoted to a subject of civic education. These are the magazines Časopis československé obce učitelské, Časopis pro občanskou nauku a výchovu, Společenské vědy ve škole, Občanská výchova: časopis pro občanskou výchovu, filosofii, psychologii a logiku a Společenskovědní předměty: čtvrtletník pro pedagogy základních a středních škol. The final part of the diploma thesis is dedicated to articles from the journals mentioned above which describe the content transformation of teaching civic education.

The theme for this thesis is based on the European Resuscitation Council's guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation of 2015. One of the important points of these procedures is the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED). These devices were developed for informed responders without the knowledge of cardiac rhythm diagnostics and allow to perform an early defibrillation of the heart, before the arrival of emergency services. AED is a sophisticated device that is a part of the equipment of I - firefighters and policemen. Training of these so-called first aid responders performs the local emergency service team. Over the years 2015 and 2016, the majority of the professionally active firefighters and police officers in one selected Czech district who have the automatic external defibrillator in their equipment attended a training in how to use this device. The aim of this thesis is to determine whether the concept of the training courses is sufficient. If the theoretical part is well understandable for the respondents, and whether the practical training is sufficient - not only the actual compressions and ventilation, but also the use of an automatic external defibrillator, or whether it would be appropriate to extend this training. V teoretické části diplomové práce jsem se zabývala rizikovými faktory, které mohou přecházet v poruchy chování u dětí v období školní docházky. Dále jsem zpracovala metodiku, která je s touto problematikou spjatá a uvedla možnosti přístupů, které lze v preventivních aktivitách využít. Nejedná se pouze o aktivity směřující k dětem a mládeži, ale i o přístupy směrem k pedagogům, rodičům a široké veřejnosti. Snažila jsem se vždy zdůraznit to, co je pro školní prostředí nejúčinnější. Nechybí ani názorné příklady.
