Η παρούσα εργασία χωρίζεται σε δέκα κεφάλαια. Αρχικά, αναλύονται οι χωρικές και αναπτυξιακές επιπτώσεις του προγράμματος ‘Ελλάδα 2004’. Έπειτα, αναφέρονται οι επιπτώσεις των έργων του Γ’ ΚΠΣ στη διοργάνωση των αγώνων και περιγράφεται περιληπτικά ο ελληνικός τουρισμός στην αρχή του νέου αιώνα. Στο κεφάλαιο 4 γίνεται πλήρης αναφορά στον τουρισμό πριν- κατά τη διάρκεια κ μετά τη λήξη των ΟΑ 2004. Στο κεφάλαιο 5 περιγράφεται η οικονομία, ομοίως. Στη συνέχεια, αναφέρονται αναλυτικά τα οφέλη από τη διεξαγωγή των ΟΑ Αθήνα 2004, όπως επίσης και κάποιες εκτιμήσεις –θετικές κ αρνητικές-. Το κεφάλαιο 8 αναφέρεται συγκεκριμένα στις επιπτώσεις των αγώνων στην Αθήνα. Έπειτα, γίνονται κάποια σχόλια και παρατηρήσεις όσον αφορά την περίοδο μετά το πέρας των ΟΑ και στο δέκατο κεφάλαιο, αναφέρονται μερικές στρατηγικές για την ίδια περίοδο. Τέλος, παρατίθεται ένα παράρτημα αναφορικά με τον τουρισμό και την περιφερειακή ανάπτυξη από το Σύνδεσμο Ελλήνων Περιφερειολόγων. / This subject refers to the Olympic Games Athens 2004 and it is divided in ten units. There is a description of the Greek tourism at the beginning of the new century. Furthermore, at unit four there is an analysis about tourism at the period of the games 2004. Also, at the next unit is analyzed the economy of the same period and all the effects. Moreover, all the benefits for our country of the Olympic Games Athens 2004 are described next. Also, at unit 8 all the benefits, for the city of Athens, are described. At last, some comments and strategies are referred.

Defesa : Curitiba, 10/03/2017 / Inclui referências : f. 66-75 / Resumo: O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar o efeito da volatilidade cambial sobre o fluxo de exportações da Colômbia com os seus parceiros comerciais. O período compreendido no presente trabalho foi de 2004 a 2014 e o número de países considerados no estudo foi de 11. Para o desenvolvimento do estudo foram considerados os dados do comércio internacional entre a Colômbia e os seus parceiros comerciais, os quais foram desagregados no nível de dois dígitos do Sistema Harmonizado. Por outro lado, as variáveis foram inseridas dentro de um modelo gravitacional de comércio, cujos parâmetros foram estimados mediante as técnicas econométricas: Pooled, Dados em Painel (Efeitos Fixos) (Efeitos Aleátorios) e a técnica econométrica Poisson Pseudo Maximum (PPML) na forma de dados em painel. A inclusão e a exclusão das variáveis nas estimativas mostraram que a instabilidade cambial é prejudicial à relação comercial entre Colômbia e seus parceiros comerciais, já que maior incerteza cambial leva os agentes econômicos, a longo prazo, a reduzir suas atividades no comércio internacional, dada maior exposição ao risco. Palavras-chave: Volatilidade da taxa de câmbio; Equação gravitacional; Exportações. / Abstract: The present study aims to analyse the effect of exchange rate volatility on the export flow of Colombia with its commercial partners. The period comprised in the present study was from 2004 to 2014 and the number of countries considered in the study was twelve. In order to carry out this study, international trade data between Colombia and its trading partners were considered, which were broken down to the two-digit level of the Harmonized System. On the other hand, the variables were inserted within a gravitational model of trade, where parameters were estimated by two econometric techniques: Pooled, Fixed effect models, Random effect models and and Poisson Pseudo Maximum Likelihood (PPML) in the form of panel data. The inclusion and exclusion of the variables in the estimates showed that instability in exchange rates is detrimental to trade relationship between Colombia and its trading partners, since greater exchange rate uncertainty pushes economic agents, in the long run, towards reducing their international trade activities due to high exposure to risk. O pressuposto teórico consiste na crença de que a posição social das famílias está diretamente relacionada à inserção na sociedade de seu integrante de melhor remuneração. Os dados utilizados são os das Pesquisas Nacionais por Amostra de Domicílios (PNADs) a partir de 1981, coletados anualmente pelo IBGE, salvo para os anos em que inexistiu a pesquisa. Os principais resultados apontam para uma redução dos espaços sociais ou para o encolhimento da proporção de pessoas nos três estratos superiores de renda e ampliação dos dois estratos da base da pirâmide, numa trajetória descendente de famílias, ainda com baixo nível de rendimento individual. As famílias com crianças tiveram os piores desempenhos e a comparação entre as trajetórias de pessoas até a pré-adolescência registraram o pior desempenho durante o período 2000-2004. Por outro lado, também é possível constatar que o movimento de melhoria de renda ocorrido logo após aos dois maiores planos econômicos (Cruzado e Real) perderam o vigor ao longo do tempo / Abstract: This dissertation analyzes the evolution of Brazilian society mobility among five income brackets. It is based on the allocation of all family members with their highest individual earnings within their income bracket during the period of 1981 through 2004. The theoretical assumption builds its foundation on the fact that the family social status is directly related to the induction in society of the highest paying family member. The data is used from Pesquisas Nacionais por Amostra a Domicilio (PNADs) from 1981 on, collected annually by IBGE, except for the years in which the research was not performed. The main results point out to a reduction of social strata or proportionate shrinking of individuals on the top three income brackets and expansion of the bottom two of the pyramid, following a downward trajectory of families still with low individual earnings. Families with children had the worst performance and the comparison amongst individuals up to pre-adolescence amassed to the worst performance during the period of 2000-2004. On the other hand, it is possible to demonstrate that the upswing income improvement that took place immediately after the two economic plans (Cruzado and Real) lost momentum over time / Mestrado / Economia Social e do Trabalho / Mestre em Desenvolvimento Econômico

Registrar esta pesquisa na área acadêmica é algo importante para podermos dar continuidade na história da ginástica em nossa cidade e com isso entendermos o crescimento relevante dessa modalidade em Campinas, que transformou a vida de muitas pessoas ao longo dessas três décadas e nesse decorrer, foi tomando diversos rumos, ganhando espaço e conquistando cada vez mais adeptos. Para essa composição histórica, foi utilizada a metodologia da História Oral, que possibilitou a reconstrução com os personagens que fizeram e fazem parte dela, além da utilização de imagens e reportagens pesquisadas nos jornais da cidade e dos acervos pessoais cedidos pelas entrevistadas. Este trabalho teve como resultado o registro da história desta modalidade esportiva, que nessas três ultimas décadas tem encantado o cenário esportivo campineiro / Abstract: The objective of this study was to ransom The History of the Rhythmic Gymnastics in the city of Campinas ¿ São Paulo ¿ Brazil, since that theme had never been explored in academic researches before, and that is, beyond doubt, a great story, a life story of people who went through that sport and left their marks of conquests, victories and passion. Registering this research in the academic area is something important, to be able to have the continuity of the gimnastic history in our city, and so as to understand the relevant growth of that modality in Campinas, which has changed the life of many people along these three decades and which, in the meantime, has taken several courses, gaining space and conquering more and more adepts. For that historical essay, the methodology of the oral history was used, which enabled its rescue with the characters that made, and still make, part of it, besides the use of images and reportings collected into the city newspapers, as well as the personal assets given in by the interviewees. This work had as a result the registering of this sports modality history, which within these last three decades has delighted the Campinas sports scenery / Mestrado / Pedagogia do Movimento / Mestre em Educação Física

The main objective of this study is to evaluate, analyze critically and reflectively the implementation, concepts, principles and achievements of FECOP, regarding the behavior of the indices related to extreme poverty and poverty in the aforementioned period, in a differently and more comprehensive than the dominant explanatory variable used and focused only on insufficient income. / Este é um tema relacionado ao Fundo de Combate à Pobreza do Estado do Ceará – FECOP, instituído pela Lei Complementar nº 37, de 26 de novembro de 2003, regulamentado pelo Decreto Estadual nº 27.379, que busca dar suporte para as ações de políticas públicas na superação da pobreza no Estado do Ceará, em duas vertentes na mudança estrutural e nos processos de políticas compensatórias, que envolvem todas as ações das secretarias estaduais do Ceará no combate à pobreza, e o projeto proposto busca situar como problemática se está política pública esta realmente reduzindo a pobreza no Estado cearense, e qual a sua natureza de atuação, no período de 2004 a 2010, no contexto do quadro neoliberal e da mundialização do capitalismo financeiro, como elementos constitutivos da reprodução ampliada da pobreza, de forma generalizada em todos os países em desenvolvimento, dentro de uma inclusão injusta da globalização capitalista. O objetivo principal deste estudo é avaliar, bem como examinar e reflexivamente a implementação, as concepções, os princípios e os resultados alcançados do FECOP, com relação ao comportamento dos índices referentes à pobreza extrema e da pobreza, no período há pouco mencionado, de maneira diferenciada e mais abrangente do que a variável explicativa dominante utilizada e focada apenas na insuficiência de renda.

Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited. / This thesis looks beyond the tragic events of 11 March 2004 to uncover the greater Spanish strategic culture that motivates and influences Spain's political elites. By examining the interaction between Spanish conservatives and liberals, discerning the Spanish strategic culture will allow for a greater understanding of the foreign policy implications to both the Spanish-US relationship and Spanish-EU integration after the Madrid bombings. By understanding how Spanish elites make decisions on the utilization of military force with respect to NATO operations and European Union security, this thesis first demonstrates the strategic preferences of the Spanish elites. Secondly, this thesis shows that the collective identity of Spanish elites seeks further influence in regional economic and global policy making. Lastly, this thesis reveals that Spain is in a unique position to develop a strong bilateral relationship with the US while furthering its integration with the EU but is unwilling to support the furthering of cooperation and integration at the expense of Spanish national interests. Uncovering the Spanish strategic culture will provide a possible generalization to whether this event will lead to a shift in the Spanish strategic culture or open a new chapter in the transatlantic relationship. This thesis suggests that the bombings will not redefine the strategic culture of Spain but reinforce Spain's commitment against international terrorism. / Major, United States Marine Corps
