Ausstellung kuratiert von Johannes Schmidt / Die Ausstellungsbroschüren des „Projektraum am Weißen Hirsch. Galerie Grafikladen“ dokumentieren die Ausstellungstätigkeit eines nicht institutionellen Ausstellungsraumes in Dresden zwischen 2010 und 2016. Die Galerie widmete sich dem Werk zeitgenössischer junger Künstler, vorwiegend Meisterschüler und Absolventen, die in der Regel einen biografischen Bezug zu Dresden haben. Das Ausstellungskonzept war offen für die verschiedensten künstlerischen Ausdrucksformen – von Malerei über Fotografie bis zu performativen Ansätzen. Jährlich fanden vier bis fünf, von wechselnden Kuratoren entwickelte Ausstellungen statt. Vor 60 Jahren begann die Arbeit an dem größten musikbibliographischen Projekt in der Geschichte der Musikforschung: RISM / Répertoire International des Sources Musicales. Die Idee für ein Quellenlexikon, das die musikalische Überlieferung weltweit verzeichnet, entstand nach 1945, als der Zweite Weltkrieg viele Quellen zerstört oder verstreut hatte. Die Geisteswissenschaften benötigten in ihren Wissenschaftsbereichen einen – international ausgerichteten – Neubeginn, eine an den Quellen orientierte, ideologiefreie und Kulturen übergreifende Zusammenarbeit. Die Realisierung war von Anfang an verknüpft mit dem Aufbau der Vereinten Nationen seit 1947 und steht seither unter der Schirmherrschaft der UNESCO. Die Idee, die Umsetzung und die Kontinuität des RISM sind Meilensteine für die Geistes- und Kulturwissenschaften.

La presente tesis de licenciatura pretende describir los cambios y las permanencias en los valores sociales de los peruanos a partir de la teoría del cambio cultural propuesta por Ronald Inglehart y de los datos obtenidos por las cuatro olas de la Encuesta Mundial de Valores realizadas en el Perú entre el año 1996 y el año 2012. Para fines del análisis se han construido cinco grupos generacionales cuyas orientaciones en torno a valores sociales y actitudes hacia la democracia, serán analizadas a lo largo del tiempo, teniendo en cuenta a los elementos coyunturales a sus periodos de socialización pre-adulta y a aquellos que circundaron a los años de la encuesta. De esa manera será posible explicar en cuáles han sido los factores que recaen en el cambio cultural de los peruanos.

Durante los últimos años, el estudiante universitario peruano ha dejado de ser un foco de atención como actor político tanto para la opinión pública como para la investigación académica. La actividad política estudiantil, que se inició con el movimiento universitario por la transformación de la universidad en el país a inicios del siglo XX,1 poco a poco fue perdiendo peso.

L’objectif principal du mémoire est d’identifier les facteurs qui ont influencé les individus à émettre des commentaires politiques ou à partager du contenu politique par l’intermédiaire du réseau social Twitter lors de la campagne de 2012 au Québec.

Lag (2012:978) om uthyrning av egen bostad (UEB) trädde ikraft den 1 februari 2013 och är tillämplig när en privatperson hyr ut sin bostad. Lagens förmånliga regler tillkom för att stimulera privatpersoner att hyra ut sin bostad som de för tillfället inte nyttjar. Reglerna är förmånliga för hyresvärden men desto mindre förmånliga för hyresgästen. Den sistnämnda får aldrig något besittningsskydd och kan när som helst under hyresförhållandet, utan saklig grund, sägas upp till det månadsskifte som inträffar närmast om tre månader. Hyresvärden tillåts även att säga upp tidsbestämda avtal i förtid trots att längre avtalstid överenskommits. Hyreslagen (12 kap JB) var tidigare uteslutande tillämplig på rättsområdet. Enligt lagens huvudregel krävs saklig grund för uppsägning men det finns undantag. Uppsatsen syftar till att analysera motiven till hyreslagens besittningsskydd och jämföra med motiven till avsaknad av sådant skydd enligt UEB samt rätten att säga upp tidsbestämda avtal i förtid. Förarbetena till UEB granskas kritiskt för att fastställa vilka skäl samt vilka undersökningar som ligger till grund för hyresvärdens uppsägningsrätt. Utredningarna som ligger till grund för UEB anses av författaren vara bristfälliga och det saknas underlag som visar att fler bostäder skulle hyras ut om reglerna blir förmånligare. Främst saknas undersökningar som visar att dispositionsrätten ses som ett hinder. En lagändring av sådan här karaktär bör omfattas av grundligare utredningar. Hyresvärdens rätt att utan saklig grund säga upp hyresgästen sätter denna i en osäker ställ-ning, särskilt rätten att säga upp tidsbestämda avtal i förtid. Hyresgästen har svårt att göra sina rättigheter gällande. Lämplig åtgärd är enligt författaren att saklig grund ska krävas för uppsägning vid längre hyresförhållande, som varat i två år eller mer. Hyresvärden bör inte heller få säga upp tidsbestämda avtal i förtid - avtal skall hållas. / The Act (2012:978) on renting of own property (UEB) came into force on 1 February 2013. The law applies where a private individual rents out his home. The beneficial rules of the act are created to encourage private individuals to rent out their homes as they currently do not use. The rules are beneficial to the landlord but less beneficial to the tenant. The latter should never have any security of tenure and may at any time during the tenancy, without objective reason, be terminated with three month notice. The landlord is even allowed to terminate fixed term contracts premature, although longer agreement period is agreed. Tenancy Act was previously exclusively applicable to the legal field. According to the principal rule objective reasons are required for termination but there are exceptions. The thesis aims to analyze the motives of the security of tenure according to the Tenancy Act and compare with the motives for the absence of such protection according to UEB and the right to terminate fixed term contracts prematurely. The preparatory work for UEB is critically examined to identify the reasons and what studies that underlies the landlord's right of termination. The investigations which form the basis for UEB is considered by the author to be inade-quate and there is no data showing that more housing units would be rented out if the rules becomes more beneficial. Mainly no studies show that the right of disposal is seen as an obstacle. A change in the law of such a character should be subject to more thorough investigation. Landlord's right, without objective reasons to terminate the tenant puts this in a precarious position, especially the right to terminate fixed contracts prematurely. It is difficult for the tenant to assert its rights. Action is according to the author that objective reasons shall be required for termination of longer rental relationship, which lasted for two years or more. The landlord should never have the right to terminate temporary contracts prematurely.

This thesis evaluates the legacy/impact of the London 2012 Games for a non-hosting sub-region Leicestershire, principally through evaluations of four legacy-programmes (i.e. the Workplace Challenge, Get Set, Sport Makers, and Games Makers programmes), drawing conclusions about lessons learned from the Leicestershire 2012 legacy experience. The selection of Leicestershire as a non-hosting sub-region reflects the fact that little is known about the legacy/ impact of the Games in such contexts. The nature of Olympic legacy evaluation is considered as a complex, wide-ranging, and multi-staged process. This thesis thus focuses on two main areas: i) conducting a systematic review of the literature (covering the period 1996-2011) to explore and establish an understanding of the concepts of Olympic legacy , and evidenced legacy/impact of hosting the Olympics in previous Games; ii) assessing the extent to which the London 2012 Games had impacted on the changed legacy outcomes for Leicestershire through realist evaluations. Together with realist evaluations, analytic logic models and the assessment of additionality approaches are adopted in this study, focusing on the four legacy-programmes evaluations, wherein quantitative and/or qualitative methodology are utilised in order to identify the causal mechanisms that produced the anticipated/unanticipated effects in their specific contexts. This study is an empirical example of the application of the realist evaluation and assessment of additionality. It also produces an evidence base for policy analysis in order to inform stakeholders thinking regarding sustaining the legacy of the Games and any future major sporting events by identifying lessons learned for non-hosting contexts.

Successful presentation of a country as a brand and positioning its unique image on the global level can give significant opportunities for development and progress of the state in the different areas. This research applies theories on the country branding to estimate impact of mega sport events on the image of state. To accomplish these goal I used case study – formation of brand Ukraine before hosting European Football Championship 2012 (EURO 2012). To investigate  brand strategy of Ukraine and analyze implemented projects I conducted in-depth interviews with government officials and independent experts, who are involved in promo campaigns of Ukraine. The research concluded that Ukraine is in the process of  brand formation, but it is too early to to assume the existance of the comprehensive brand of the country. For Ukraine, EURO 2012 impulses change of negative perceptions of the country and  is a step towards complex strategy of brand creation. Future of this strategy therefore depends on conducting preliminary studies of each promo project and coordinated collaboration between all actors who take part in creation of brand Ukraine. Research also provides recommendations on how to make brand campaign more efficient.

Memoria (licenciado en ciencias jurídicas y sociales) / La libertad condicional como institución penitenciaria que permite la excarcelación anticipada para condenados y condenadas, recibe aplicación en Chile desde el año 1926. En su larga data, recién 90 años más tarde provocó un revuelo mediático sin precedentes. A su respecto, en el proceso de abril del año 2016 se dio lugar a un debate público entre autoridades, medios de comunicación y la sociedad en general, preocupada por el alto número de decisiones favorables a las postulaciones de libertad condicional. Este suceso provocó la iniciativa parlamentaria inmediata a través de diversos proyectos de ley que buscaban limitar a este beneficio penitenciario, motivados por la alta sensación de inseguridad. Desde nuestra vereda, el campo del Derecho, decidimos volcarnos a estudiar esta institución poco desarrollada y atendida en nuestras aulas de pregrado. Así, nos percatamos de un cambio jurisprudencial sobre el tratamiento de la libertad condicional, particularmente desde la entrada en vigencia de la Ley N° 20.587 del año 2012. También de un procedimiento que considera la coordinación institucional de diversos actores, y la importancia que reviste esta institución para cumplir con el fin resocializador de la pena. Sin perjuicio de lo anterior, con esta investigación logramos conocer la falta de interés institucional en la materia, y del abandono académico, político y social en que se encuentra la etapa de ejecución de penas.

A dissertation in fulfilment of the Degree of Masters of Arts in Fine Arts (MAFA) at the University of Witwatersrand, 2017 / In 2012, the Johannesburg-based artists’ collective, Center for Historical Reenactments (CHR), presented Fr(agile), a social sculpture and public intervention, following a threeday residency at the Alf Kumalo Museum in Diepkloof, Soweto. The Fr(agile) Residency intended to reimagine the archive by searching it for points of interest related to visual artmaking. This research dissertation aims to revisit Fr(agile) in order to explore new ways of engaging the photographic archive, and artist-led processes and methodologies within this archive. The archive was never completely sorted although Kumalo had, had intentions of properly cataloguing his archive and had begun the process of digitising his photographs at his museum. With the archive closed for legal reasons, this research will draw on memory and account, and this dissertation will be presented orally. I feel it is necessary to remember what the archive was like during the residency, but to also propose ways to activate the archive through contemporary visual arts practice. The research further proposes ways in which archives can occupy a space within contemporary visual arts, how they can potentially function when looked at as contemporary objects, and begin to question the ephemeral relationship between the photographic medium, archive and memory. / XL2018
