This research focuses on organizational learning as an essential aspect for
organizations not only to survive, but also to continue progressing in an increasingly
competitive and constantly changing environment. The general objective was to
analyze how organizational learning occurs in a privately managed school in Ventanilla
during the pandemic, and accordingly, two specific objectives were defined: to explain
the aspects related to organizational learning and to examine the practices of
managers and teachers that contribute to or limit its development. The research is
qualitative and worked with two categories of analysis: first, the aspects of
organizational learning (dimensions, elements, and phases); and second, the practices
that contribute to or limit organizational learning. Two techniques were also used to
collect information: interviews and documentary analysis. Two managers and four
teachers of an educational institution were interviewed and two of its main
management instruments were also analyzed: the Institutional Educational Project
(PEI) and the Annual Work Plan (PAT). The information collected was analyzed with
information organization matrices and triangulation was applied. Finally, after the
analysis and discussion of the results, the existence of some dimensions, elements
and phases of the organizational learning process and the conditions that facilitate it to
achieve institutional growth instead of hindering it were identified. With this, it can be
suggested that organizational learning is in an initial development that needs to be
consolidated through the formulation of institutional policies that favor learning and
strengthen the internal capacity of the organization to learn continuously within the
framework of a culture oriented to learning, teamwork, continuous improvement, and
the participation of all members in the achievement of objectives.

significativas, y presentaron magnitudes grandes.
The purpose of this research was to examine the connection between Basic Psychological
Needs (BPN) and Depressive Symptoms (DS) in a group of students who are part of a
university located in Metropolitan Lima. For this purpose, a total of 109 college students aged
between 18 and 25 participated. The instruments used were the "Basic Psychological Needs
Satisfaction and Frustration Scale" (BPNSFS), and the "Beck Depression Inventory II" (BDIII), which showed sufficient evidence regarding reliability in the sample. It was found that the
correlations between BPN and DS were significant, and they exhibited large magnitudes.
Additionally, it was found that the Satisfaction and Frustration of these Needs predict the
presence of DS. Comparative analyses of sociodemographic variables such as gender and
cohabitation were also conducted with the psychological variables of the study (BPN and DS);
however, no significant discrepancies were found. Finally, the purpose of the study was
achieved by demonstrating significant correlations between the dimensions of BPN and DS.

The present study scrutinizes the factors that undermined the Ministry of
Economy and Finance, the administrative body overseeing the financial resources of
the Peruvian State, vis-à-vis the 2020-2021 Complementary Congress amid the
extraordinary circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic. This inquiry delves into
external factors such as the conjunctural and institutional, as well as internal factors
like the utilization of the presidential relative veto on legislation and the radicalized
opposition. This opposition exerted its force from ordinary parliamentary committees
such as Economy and Banking, Budget, as well as Consumer Defense. The thesis
employs a qualitative approach methodology, incorporating semi-structured interviews
with key political figures and information gleaned from primary sources via state
transparency portals. Analysis of this data yields findings that demonstrate a decline
in the capacity, authority, and influence of the Ministry of Economy and Finance in the
legislative approval process related to its purview. The new Congress clandestinely
maneuvered to bolster its influence and popularity by intervening in economic and
fiscal matters, resulting in laws that were subsequently contested or questioned before
the Constitutional Tribunal.

The generation of this program was developed in the context of the pandemic caused
by COVID-19 and our concern for contingency measures in order to prevent the
spread of the disease in the population, which made us see the population of the boys,
girls and adolescents, being the most sensitive to the development of mental and
behavioral disorders, having formed a difficulty in early detection and intervention in
mental health problems in this population group. That is why the main objective was
to implement a primary prevention program through roaming buses that allow
transporting multidisciplinary personnel and resources for the development of
preventive activities in the districts of Lima. For this, the methodology includes an
approach developed by the School of Government and Public Policies of the Pontifical
Catholic University of Peru, which focuses on the generation of public value in order
to provide an innovative solution. For this, the design of a prototype was proposed that
resulted in a high desirability, feasibility at 90% interest in investors and a feasible
development given the offer of the main resources (buses) to carry out everything
proposed. In this way, concluding that the program is viable enough for its application.

This doctoral thesis addresses the process of parental engagement among 123 parents from Quebec, Canada whose child has been placed in temporary foster care by child protection services. More precisely, the work aims to deepen the understanding of engagement as a multidimensional phenomenon in the specific context of the child protection intervention when there is a placement ongoing. The thesis aims to improve evaluative methods of this phenomenon. It thus focuses on the development of the different dimensions (parent attitudes toward the intervention, parent-caseworker relationship and parent participation in the intervention process) and its links with key factors. The first study conducted allowed to validate a French version of a multidimensional evaluation instrument and to formulate recommendations for its further use. Psychometric properties establishment and confirmatory factorial analysis confirm adequation as well as 4-factors structure in the French population of Quebec. Construct validity was also established, clarifying relations between engagement’s dimensions and related variables (parental satisfaction toward services, conformity). This study supports the necessity to evaluate engagement from different angles and highlights needs and gaps remaining in this matter. In the second study composing the thesis, path analyses were used to study strength and direction of relations between dimensions of parental engagement. Links between caseworkers’ practices and engagement’s dimension were also established in order to explain mechanisms underlying. This second chapter relies on empirical data. Results show relational components are central to the engagement process in this intervention context. Practices employed by caseworker that focus on parents’ strengths would favorize the establishment of a high-quality relationship between them. Such relation would be associate to positive attitudes toward the intervention. In sum, this doctoral thesis supports the proposition that parental engagement is a multidimensional phenomenon and underlines its relational aspect. It also highlights the importance to pursue the work in order to improve the evaluation methods of engagement, in research as well as in clinical settings. Relations between engagement dimensions and intervention outcomes should also be studied more extensively. This work provides input to researchers and practitioners interested by service provision to this population, which is known to present resistance. It brings to light the relevance of paying attention to these issues and to develop ways to target, and thus improve their engagement in the intervention process.

The "revolving door" phenomenon in emergency departments (ED) is preoccupying for many managers and the general public but especially for users themselves and their families. A number of studies have described the characteristics of these frequent users. Knowing that mental health is an important issue for many of them, this research takes a look at frequent users living with mental health issues and gives a voice to their families. This exploratory study seeks to answer two questions: what are the psychosocial vulnerabilities of ED’s frequent users according to their families and what are these families' perspectives on this subject. To answer these questions, eight semi-structured interviews were conducted with family members of frequent users living with mental health issues. Psychosocial vulnerabilities mentioned by family members were mainly regarding socio-economic difficulties, social isolation as well as precarious health. Three main patterns were also highlighted among the users examined in this research: elderly people visiting ED for motives due to aging; users consulting for crises related to their mental health troubles and people visiting the ED for a variety of physical complaints. Concerning the perspective of family members, results mainly show a variety of difficulties encountered trying to navigate through the health care system. Family members expressed being concerned with the users' situations and their willingness to help the users especially in a context of a lack of services and resources. This research supports the idea that frequent users should not be considered a homogeneous group and that it is necessary to offer them and their caregivers services adapted to their specific needs.

By exposing how closely related society and the religious community are, the present case study explores the dynamics surrounding the land tenancy and the development of the buildings forming the monastery of the Ursulines of Three-Rivers. Today, the future threatens the survival of their heritage and this issue is a common one for many religious communities in the province of Quebec : the conversion and change of purpose begs the question as to what parts of their heritage must be preserved. By studying the structuring role of this Catholic institution in the formation of the urban cultural landscape of Three-Rivers, the research will undeniably contribute to understanding the processes of the urban morphology of Quebec. The study will attempt to establish guidelines for a possible future requalification of the site and a likely change of use for the buildings following the decline ofthe religious community. Inspired by the diachronic methodology and the analytical approaches created by Saverio Muratori and the Italian school of urban morphology, the research exposes the morphology of their estate and their monastery. The morphology of the building, the site and the city exposes periods of continuity and rupture through time (construction/demolition, fires/reconstruction, expansion, etc.). The case study seeks to describe and understand how the land and properties supported the development of nuns’ monastery missions and affected the urbanization of their surroundings. The research explores how the amount of support through cash, resources and other means for the building of the Ursulines’ Monastery and the maintenance of their educational and charitable missions is directly tied to the number of deeds and the material transformations of the Ursuline’s properties in the city and the countryside. Is there a relation between the community’s resources fluctuation and the evolution of their estate? The initial research question foresees the existence of a dynamic interaction between the resources of the community, the development of their estate and the evolution of a part of the city. The exchanges represented by the deeds on the Ursulines’estate structure the production of space. An interdisciplinary approach is inevitable as architecture, history, and geography are closely related disciplines. Subsequently, material evidence is used to make a qualitative assessment aiming to contribute to the operational history. This study method provides an opportunity to reflect on the heritage of religious communities and the feasibility of hypothetical projects using research knowledge as well as sound architectural reasoning. Indeed, the evolution of the site will reflect of the local will, between enlightened and informed preservation or progressive disappearing.
