Bytový dům / Block of Flats

Jánská, Kamila January 2017 (has links)
Diploma thesis describes the design and processing of project documentation of the apartment building. The apartment building is located in the central part of the city of Brno, in the district of Štýřice. The building has 5 floors. Its basementless with flat roof and it is based on the footings of plain concrete. Load-bearing, peripheral walls and partitions are designed from ceramic blocks POROTHERM. Ceiling construction is designed to be assembled of ceramic ceiling fittings MIAKO built on POT supports. Peripheral walls of all floors are insulated with external thermal insulation composite system ETICS with thermal insulation of mineral wool. In the place of the plinth is wool replaced by XPS polystyrene. In the facade there are anchored wooden lattice constructions using ProPasiv anchors. These constructions are covered by façade cladding sheets CEMBRIT METRO and they devide whole building into separate units. There is housing and communal part of the building. On the first floor there are storage areas, the main service room, utility room and two barrier-free apartments. In the second to the fifth floor there are 9 residential units, one of which is designed as duplex apartment . All floors are connected by staircase and wheelchair lift. Parking for 17 cars is designed in front of the building . Two parking spaces are wheelchair accessible.

In pursuit of consumer-accessible augmented virtuality / En strävan efter konsumenttillgänglig augmented virtuality

Berggrén, Rasmus January 2017 (has links)
This project is an examination of the possibility of using existing software to develop Virtual Reality (VR) software that includes key aspects of objects in a user’s surroundings into a virtual environment, producing Augmented Virtuality (AV). A defining limitation is the requirement that the software be consumer-accessible, meaning it needs run on a common smartphone with no additional equipment. Two related AV concepts were considered: shape reconstruction and positional tracking. Two categories of techniques were considered for taking the measurements of reality necessary to achieve those AV concepts using only a monocular RGB camera as sensor: monocular visual SLAM (mvSLAM) and Structure from Motion (SfM). Two lists of requirements were constructed, formalising the notions of AV and consumer-accessibility. A search process was then conducted, where existing software packages were evaluated for their suitability to be included in a piece of software fulfilling all requirements. The evaluations of SfM systems were made in combination with Multi-View Stereo (MVS) systems – a necessary complement for achieving visible shape reconstruction using a system that outputs point clouds. After thoroughly evaluating a variety of software, it was concluded that consumer-accessible AV can not currently be achieved by combining existing packages, due to several issues. While future hardware performance increases and new software implementations would solve complexity and availability issues, some inaccuracy and usability issues are inherent to the limitation of using a monocular camera.

Interprofessionellt samarbete : - en studie i lärarprofessioners samarbete i relation till särskilda utbildningsbehov i matematik / Interprofessional collaboration : - A study in collaboration between teachers’ professions in relation to special educational needs in mathematics

Bengtsson, Camilla, Gren, Helena January 2022 (has links)
This study aims to identify interprofessional collaboration between special educational needs teachers in mathematics, special educational needs coordinators and mathematics teachers in relation to special educational needs in mathematsics. The stdy has focused on collaboration from the perspective of interprofessional learning, inclusion and an accessible learning enviroment. The research apporoach is qualitative and interviews in focus goups have been conducted as well as observations. The activity theory has functioned as the theoretical framwork through this study. Three public schools from two different municipalities were chosen for this study. The results show that collaboration between the different professions occurs frequently. However, the collaboration tends to relate more to presenting information or producing individual solutions where professins work side by side rather than together in the classroom. It is considered more efficient to extract students frpm ordinary education to provide extra support, than to collaborate within the classroom to develop the learning environment towards inclusion and learn from other professions in relation to special educational needs in mathematics. Thus, the collaboration remains on an individual level both professionally and for the students as opposed to generating new knowledge within the professions as well as an inclusive, learning environment.

A Landscape with Furniture. Designs, plans, and buildings of Jan E. Koula (1896-1975) and his notion of a "people's dwelling". Marcela Suchomelová Abstract (EN) The thesis focuses on the professional and personal course of life of a Prague architect, designer, painter, documentarian, teacher, theoretician and editor of specialized magazines on architecture and housing culture in the interwar and the onset war era and in line with the avant-garde thinking. Nowadays, the theoretical and artistic legacy of Jan E. Koula (1896-1975) is seen in his remarkable ability to popularize ethics and aesthetic in the contemporary housing culture, and in his capability of pragmatic characterization, evaluation and promotion of modern style of living. He was very consistent and unceasing in doing so, while having the model of Le Corbusier's functionalist purism in mind. An analysis of the then publications, archival documents and Koula's autobiography allowed us to compare his singular interventions in architecture and design as well as the interior housing or exhibition concepts, not to mention the circumstances of their origin and ideological contribution in the plurality of activities, interests, and the social and cultural background of the period between 1920' and 1940'. Jan E. Koula dealt with the issue of housing...

Baroň, Alexandr Unknown Date (has links)
The first part of this diploma thesis is to design an energy-efficient hotel with restaurant and car parking. The second part is also to create an assessment of the energy performance of the building and usage of energy from renewable sources. Hotel is designed with the idea of „smart buildings“ which means, that all the technological background is controlled by the main computer, which also harvests data to achieve a minimum energy use and financial demand and maximum comfort and safety at the same time by controlling the connected technology. By placing on a sloped terrain in the center of Brno, the basement floor can be used as car parking. The roof of this building is flat, green, with modifications for placing solar panels, whose design is part of this work. The third part of this diploma thesis is the spatial acoustics of the conference room on the first ground floor.
