In recent years studies on complex systems have been gaining strength and tools to be able to simulate and verify their behavior statistically.Much of this is due to many systems that have come to behave in a nonlinear and dissipative way.For these cases conventional geometries such as Euclidean is not possible for the prowess of explaining it, with this the geometry of the fractals emerged as an important alternative for the treatment of this medium, being laws of scales (power) applying very well for this system being exemplified in the form of time series and surfaces (two-dimensional and three-dimensional geometries). Thus a variety of methods were counted for this treatment, among them are the analysis via exponent of Hurst and multifractal analysis. Our work aims to propose a new method to analyze two-dimensional images multifractally, being these images coming from clouds simulations of the interstellar medium.First step was to generate 12 MHD simulations in which they differed from values of pressure and magnetic field, then generated the 2D image that is applied on them the multifractal MFDMA treatment method. With the application of this method it is possible to evaluate the images through a frame containing the exponents of multifractal analysis, being possible to evaluate the scale behavior in the images and verify the degree of complexity, and to find out which sources cause multifractality, using two methods of multifractal analysis that are shuffling the original image data and replacing the original data from the Fourier transform. The results show that for all images the shuffling method can destroy the multifractal source of the original image and still behave like a monofractal,While the other method is ineffective, concluding that nonlinear factors are not included among the sources and indicating as a source of multifractality the long-range correlations. Other important results are the relation of degree of multifractity ?h with pressure, sonic number of Mach and number of Alfv?n.

Each new application presents its own characteristics, specificities and consequently new challenges that must be overcome in order for it to become viable and be sent to production and shipped to real devices. However, network simulators generally do not provide some important functionalities for the simulations and evaluations of wireless applications. For example, simulators require implementation of the application targeted to the simulator environment requiring twice the effort of the developers and problems of integration between the technologies used during the tests and those used to ship the application to real devices. In addition, simulators must support in more complex scenarios of wireless networks such as environments with high mobility or high node density. Finally, software-simulated behavior rather than real device analysis using final code, compiled for the final real devices, does not provide the best visualization of simulated application behavior. To fill these gaps we have developed LVWNet: a Linux-based virtualization-based simulation and environment for evaluating wireless network applications that supports real-world simulation and hybrid integration between virtual nodes and real devices, as well as flexibility and low resource consumption. This paper presents the implementation details of the LVWNEt and its basic functionalities through the simulation of an IEEE 802.11s wireless network in a hybrid environment with mobility support, in which tests were developed to evaluate the authenticity of the simulation data obtained during the tests that have proven their efficiency as evaluation environment of wireless networks.

The present study aimed to investigate the biomechanical influence of different dimensions of custom temporomandibular prostheses by means of the Finite Element Method. Frist, a 3D computational model of the mandible was generated using computerized tomography. This model was replicated and its copies were then submitted to three different progressive resections, which were rehabilitated with custom temporomandibular prostheses, thus generating three experimental models (Mandibular Notch Model ? MIM, Occlusal Line Model ? MLO and 3rd Molar Model ? M3M) plus the intact mandible (Control Model ? MC). Based on the generated geometries, four models of finite elements were created, aiming to mimic a clinical condition. The models were considered isotropic, homogeneous and linearly elastic. Using virtual simulation software, the actions of the main muscular forces acting on the mandible were reproduced, and analyses of the stress and strain distribution on the adjacent bones of the prosthesis, opposite condyle to the prosthesis, personalized prosthesis, and on fixation screws were performed. It was possible to observe that there was an increase in von Mises equivalent values in the adjacent bones and in the opposing condyles after installation of the prostheses. However, these values remained similar between the models. Stress concentrations in adjacent bones and prostheses occurred in the region around the screws, and the latter had the highest stress peaks ranging from 836 MPa to 13010 MPa. In the strain distribution analysis, it was possible to observe that there was no concentration of strain in the opposing condyles. However, the MIM showed the highest strain peaks in the adjacent bone and prosthesis, whereas the M3M presented the highest strain on the screws, reaching 9770 ??. Increasing the dimensions of the customized prostheses led to an increase of the stress peaks and strain at critical values in the bones adjacent to the prostheses and fixation screws which, can compromise the stability and function of the prostheses in all the experimental models. Increasing the number of screws could give adequate stability and stress distribution to the models, especially with the increase of the dimensions of the temporomandibular prosthesis, then requiring more than three fixing screws.

Although the theme World War II is as fascinating as colossal, it is within the scope of so-called war efforts that emerges issues that deserve a careful looking, among them, one captures our attention for its amplitude and incontestable effectiveness: the propaganda. Recognising war propaganda as a major tool for leverage, maintenance and control for the conflicts that marked the World War II, this paper aims to analyze discursive aspects of war propaganda, bringing it into the realm of Discourse Analysis and lean on theoretical references such as Michel Foucault, Dominique Maingueneau and Stewart Hall. Among the possible advertising media appropriate to the constitution of this paper?s corpus of analysis, it was in the war posters that we found the possibility of exploring the categories of analysis required for this research. Through documentary research, addressing aspects related to the field of Discourse Analysis, we elucidate questions about the processes of influence and information control that focuses on individuals that are affected directly and indirectly in the context of war, answering questions such as, for example, how the entities, responsible for the propaganda, operate in this discursive control process? Analyzing the communication mechanisms of war posters, specifically those produced by the United States and Germany during the World War II, we will observe the potential of this tool, in its work of involving the public in the war time context and in the search for its goals.

This research is based on Textual Analysis of Discourses, that is an approach proposed by Jean-Michel Adam (2011) with the aim to think text and discourse into new categories, one of them, our focus, is the category called Utterance Responsibility, that points to the "voices" of the text, to polyphony, to assumption or not of the utterances. In this sense, the aim of our investigation is to identify, to describe and to analyze the Utterance Responsibility at essays (opinion articles) writing by candidates to vestibular UFRN 2013. Thus, we seek to answer the following question: how is Utterance Responsibility characterized the opinion articles writing by students in selective process for college? From this central question, we observe if students assume responsibility at utterances, if they report another(s) source(s) of knowledge, as well language marks those lead us to identify different voices at statements and also points of views [PdV] of candidates. In addition to Textual Analysis of Discourses, we also reference other theoretical academics those focus on the voices?s study, such Rabatel (2005, 2009, 2010), Authier-Revuz (2004) and Rodrigues (2010). The results show that depending on gender requested greater tendency of candidate assumes Utterance Responsibility, through of epistemic mediation, in order to reaffirm his PdV, as a polyphonic feature known as argument from authority.

Essas categorias permitem reconstruir textualmente a argumenta??o nesses textos. Dessa forma, a an?lise aponta para um discurso argumentativo constitu?do por diferentes e variadas marcas lingu?sticas e configura??es argumentativas, que fundamentam a decis?o final julgadora do m?rito. / This work is the investigation of the argumentative discourse in damning judicial sentences. To identify, describe, analyze and interpret the textual and argumentative aspects, recourse to textual studies on Linguistics (LT) and the categories of analysis of Textual Analysis of the Discourses (ATD) (see Adam, 2011; Soares, Silva Neto, Passeggi, 2010), and the text of the study (Maingueneau, 2001 Marcuschi, 2008), and studies on argumentation (cf. Koch, 2009). It is proposed, therefore, to analyze how the argumentative aspects are discursively constructed in judicial decisions through analysis of categories such as argumentative operators, modalizadoras expressions and, finally, the textual configuration of argumentative sequence. The analysis, methodologically, followed the qualitative approach paradigm (Chizzotti, 1991; Nelson et al, 1992), nature documentary (Severino, 2007) in order to interpret the set of empirical data present in the analyzed texts. In this research, we analyze a corpus formed by a copy of the court judgment genre published in 2012, given by the judge or judge and collected directly from the home page, the trial query field 1st degree, site of the State Court of S?o Paulo (Id). There is, therefore, which are built in the analyzed corpus, different language marks of argument as resources for textualization and construction of argumentative setting in gender court judgment. These categories allow to reconstruct verbatim the reasoning in these texts. Thus, the analysis points to an argumentative discourse made up of different and varied linguistic brands and argumentative configurations that support the final decision of judging merit.

The southeast border of the Parna?ba Basin (BPar), which follows the borders between the Piau?, Bahia and Pernambuco states, is characterized by an expressive NE trend parallel to the one of the Transbrasiliano Lineament, as well as a narrowing of the outcropping belt of the Silurian-Devonian formations, as compared to the situation in the east basin border. The evidence of a structural control in this basin border was analysed interpreting hillshade images obtained from radar imagery. NE-trending photolineaments were highlighted in the crystalline basement and in the sedimentary cover, as well as in the contact zone between these domains. An integrated analysis of macroscale (radar and multispectral images) and mesoscale (outcrop data) structures, lead to the characterization of three deformation events on the basis of their orientation, kinematics and chronology. Dn structures were recognized in the crystalline basement and molassic sequences of Ara?? and S?o Juli?o basins, being correlated to same context of the Jaibaras Group, in NW Cear?, of Ediacaran-Cambrian age. This deformation event is related to a retrometamorphic, plasticbrittle late stage of Brasiliano mylonite zones. Its signature includes NE-trending dextral transcurrent shear zones, as well as acid veins filling dilational C bands and E-W extension joints. Dn+1 deformation corresponds to a new stage of dextral movement along the NE-trending structures, accompanied by normal faults and extension joints oriented WNW to E-W, in this case overprinting the Silurian-Devonian formations. Dn+2 deformation is characterized by normal faults, basic dykes (correlated to the Eocretaceous Sardinha Suite) and siliceous veins (filling anisotropy in rocks), all of them following a NE-SW trend. The NE-trending faults may occur in the contact between basement and the sedimentary cover, or inside the basin. This event resulted from a NWSE extension, analogous to the one recognized further east in the Northeast Brazil Interior Basins, associated to the South Atlantic rifting.

In recent decades the Brazilian education has undergone significant changes that have brought more quality education, however, there is still a long way to go, because the Brazilian educational system is permeated by numerous problems that affect their quality. The high school is the last stage of basic education, is considered by many scholars as the major bottleneck of Brazilian education since records high dropout rates, low performance in the ratings, and a low number of students enrolled in this educational cycle. Thus, the present study sought to relate the social capital, cultural and educational failure, within a perspective social / personal networks related to school-age population of 15 to 17 years, attended the high school in the city of Ielmo Navy / RN. Therefore, we used the Social Network Analysis (SNA) a multidisciplinary methodology that aims to identify and understand how social networks, ie social relations has impacted the behavior of an individual or a group within a social structure. In order to complete the analysis conducted a descriptive and analytical approach to performance of these students in (ESMS) of the year 2015.

Using the recent observations of the gravitational wave GW150914 produced by the binary black holes coalescing system, the present thesis investigates the fractal and multifractal nature of the temporal variation of the strain measured by the detectors of the Observatory of Gravitational Wave by Laser Interferometry-LIGO. A selection of methods and procedures, such as the R/S andWavelet analysis, as well as the multifractal method denoted by MFDMA, were used to estimate statistical parameters that synthesize the gravitational wave as a complex time series. Whether in the Hanford or Livingston data, the fractal analysis revealed that the series presents a behavior with strong persistence and long-term memory quantified by the Hurst exponent. In addition, the strong agglomeration of the fluctuations found by the R/S analysis indicates the high degree of scale dependence characteristic of a multifractal signal. On the other hand, multifractal analysis using the MFDMA method suggests that the time-series presents a predominance of weak singularities in detriments to the strong, causing an asymmetry in the singularity spectrum D(h). In this context, two types of procedures were performed that analyze the possible sources of multifractality present in the time-series. The results show that procedures point to the existence of two multifractality regimes in the time series separated by the region where the black holes collide, referring to the Hanford data, and, for the Livingston data, near the end of the inspiral phase. Then, the temporal evolution of the multifractal parameters was verified, a process similar to that adopted when applying the R/S analysis. As a result, it was found that, during the evolution of the left lateral diversity of the spectrum D(h), this parameter undergoes a small impulse. The physical origin of this pulse may be associated with the amplitude of the memory derived from the polarization level in relation to the observer?s line of sight. This feature may open the way for a range of speculations, among them, the elasticity of the space-time fabric to be inferred by the multifractal behavior of the gravitational wave.

Flying Fish is an important fishery resource of the northeastern coast. However, its consumption is devalued by the population due to the large presence of pimples in the muscle. The processing of this fish allows the production of Mechanically Separated Meat (CMS), which can be used as raw material for production of various foods products. The objective of this work was to develop formulations of flying fish burguers (Hirundichthys affinis) and evaluate the influence of rosemary in the sensory profile and quality of the product during the storage. Three formulations of hamburguers were produced with different amounts of rosemary: F1(0%), F2 (0.5%) and F3 (1%). For the characterization of the product were performed analysis of proximate composition and microbiological. The sensory profile of the burgers was evaluated using the Quantitative Descriptive Analysis (QDA), after several stages of formation of a sensory panel trained. The evaluation of the physical properties and physico-chemical properties over time were verified by analysis of moisture, pH, acidity and colorimetric analysis. Flying fish burger presented carbohydrate content of 8.3%, protein 12.88% lipids 0.99% and caloric value equivalent to 93.66 kcal per 100 g of sample. All formulations were in acordance with the microbiological criteria at the beginning and end of storage period. Moisture values showed no differences between the formulations during storage period. Acidity of the sample F1 (without rosemary) increased significantly at the end of the period of storage, while the pH increased at the end of the storage only for F2 and F3 (p<0.05). With regard to color, we observed a significant decrease in the *a values of all formulations. Trought QDA analisis we observed a tendency of maintenance of descriptors related to the sensory quality for samples with higher content of rosemary, when compared to the samples without rosemary.
