AposiÃÃes restritivas no portuguÃs brasileiro escrito contemporÃneo: anÃlise e formalizaÃÃo no modelo da GramÃtica Discursivo-Funcional / Close appositions in contemporary written brazilian portuguese and formalization in the model of functional discourse grammar

Tatiana Maria Silva Coelho Lemson 20 June 2016 (has links)
This research belongs to the Linguistic area and aims to the analysis of the close appositions in contemporary written Brazilian Portuguese. In order to achieve this goal, the Functional Discourse Grammar (GDF) of Hegenveld and Mackenzie (2008) and the analysis Keiser made for the restrictive appositions in English were used. The FDG (GDF) has its organization characterized as top-down and it is divided into four levels of representation, forming a Grammatical Component: Interpersonal and Representational level, where the Formulation occurs, and the Morphosyntactic and Phonological levels where Codification is processed. These samples were analyzed in three of the four levels of the FDG (GDF): Interpersonal, Representational and Morphosyntactic. They were also analyzed according to the discursive functions proposed by Keizer (2005): Identification by means of more specific information, identification by means of description, contextually new identification and identification through contrast of different characteristics or roles. The results of the analysis of these samples indicate that the restrictive appositions in the contemporary written Brazilian Portuguese are formed, in the Interpersonal Level, by a Referential Subact composed by two Ascription Subacts. At the Representational Level, the results indicate that the forming elements of the appositive construction have a restriction semantic relation in which the first element is restricted (nucleus), and the second element is the restrictive, and each has the predicate function. In the Morphosyntactic Level, they indicate that the restrictive appositions are formed by elements of the noun class. However, they present different subclasses of nouns: proper uncountable noun, common uncountable noun and common countable noun. The element that controls the morphosyntactic relations, that is, the first element of the construction, belongs to the subclass of the common countable noun, and the second element, the one that does not rule the morphosyntactive functions nor is influenced by these relations belongs to the subclass of the uncountable proper or common noun

Validation clinique et métabolique de l'approche endoscopique par notes de la chirurgie bariatrique sur modèle porcin vivant / Clinical and metabolic validation of surgical endoscopic approach using notes for bariatric surgery on living swine model

Vanbiervliet, Geoffroy 18 December 2015 (has links)
Introduction - The aim of this study was to develop an endoscopic experimental model of NOTES bariatric surgery using a simple, reproducible technique and to validate it both clinically (feasibility, tolerance) and metabolically (pathophysiology and action plan). Materials and Methods - The studies were conducted within the CERC and INSERM UMRS 1260 unit. The animal was the pig, aged 3 to 4 months, healthy and not obese. Endoscopies were performed using a dual channel gastroscope operator and the endoscopy equipment currently available. Several development stages were set up from the development of an animal model of gastrointestinal anastomosis using an exclusive endoscopic NOTES procedure to the evaluation of the metabolic impact of gastric bypass bariatric model described using the gastrointestinal anastomosis by luminal apposing stent technique. Results - The gastro-jejunal anastomosis model chosen for its feasibility and safety was developed by luminal apposing gastric and small bowel digestive lumens with a specific metallic covered stent and NOTES technique. The experimental evaluation of the metabolic gastric bypass using this procedure allowed to observe a significant improvement in insulin resistance none mediated by GLP-1 and incretin effect. Conclusion - The concept of anastomosis with luminal apposing stent and exclusive NOTES technique is established and endoscopic bypass model using this procedure is feasible pretend to present a significant metabolic impact.

De l’apposition à la construction nominale détachée : Étude syntaxique et textuelle des constructions [GN1, GN2] en allemand / From apposition to detached noun phrases : Syntactic and textual study of [NP1, NP2] constructions in German

Durand, Marie-Laure Blanche 02 December 2013 (has links)
This syntactic and textual study examines the various ways apposition can be defined. German grammars and linguistic studies devoted to apposition vary widely in the range of that notion, which is still very much under the influence of grammatical tradition. The various criteria which appear in definitions (case agreement, adjacency, referential identity, non-restrictiveness, deletability, similarity to a grammatical clause, subject-predicate relation) are critically examined, which leads to a redefinition of the object of our study, both intensionally and extentionally: noun-based detached constructions can be seen as additional averbal predications in which the appositive NP2 can always be morphosyntactically positioned immediately to the right of the NP1 base. Our definition makes it possible to distinguish detached constructions from phenomena which are usually considered as appositive (als- or wie-introduced NPs, dislocations, absolute constructions).NP2 displacement away from NP1 results from the distribution and prioritization of information within utterances, and further at the textual level. Detached constructions provide relevant elements for textual comprehension. This explanatory function creates and maintains a high level of mutual comprehension between the speaker/writer and the reader, which the speaker can use for argumentative purposes. The corpus of our study (vol. 2) is made up of newspaper and magazine articles and contemporary literary texts.

Apozice v titulcích českých a anglických online médií / Apposition in the headlines of the Czech and English online media

Stanjura, Jakub January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on apposition and its syntactic and semantic characteristics in the headlines of Czech and English online media. In the theoretical part, the format of a headline is introduced as a part of written journalistic texts as well as significant Czech and English concepts about appositions are presented. The selected approaches are then united into a classification which is later used for the purposes of the linguistic analysis in the practical part. The aforementioned analysis deals with syntactic and semantic aspects of appositional units, classifies the language data and describes them in detail. The final chapter of the thesis contain the conclusion and offer the results of the linguistic analysis. KEY WORDS apposition, nominal apposition, nonnominal apposition, nominal phrases, clause, sentence, appositional constructions, appositives, headlines, Czech media, English media, online media, restrictiveness, non-restrictiveness

Équivalence, style et insertions incidentes : Traduction des phrases longues d’un livre d’histoire politique / Equivalence, Style and Insertions : Translation of Long Sentences in a Book of Political History

Toräng, Hans Patrik January 2021 (has links)
This essay is an investigation of a translation from French into Swedish of inserted syntagms in sentences occurring in seven extracts chosen from a book in political history: Requiem pour un empire défunt - Histoire de la destruction de l'Autriche-Hongrie by François Fejtö. The extracts belong to different genres: a narrative essay describing Europe before the first World war, treaties, political speeches etc. In French inserted items are often isolated by punctuation marks as commas, semicolons, colons and dashes. The essay examines how different styles have an effect on the translation of these items. A presentation of the theory - styles issues, definitions of terms as "equivalence" and "inserted items" ... - is followed by analyses of the extracts.  It is concluded that the inserted items occur more frequently in the French original than in the translated text. Especially in speeches, descriptive and legal texts, the use of such elements in long sentences is a part of the style. In descriptive and legal sequences the long units and the inserted elements are often maintained in the target text for stylistic reasons. Otherwise, the equivalence of style is mostly assured by the choice of vocabulary, notably when an idiomatic translation requires a reconstruction of the sentence. Another observation is that the comma is frequently used as a cursor of inserted elements in the source text, Sometimes the omission of the comma is compensated by a longer expression in the translation in order to highlight the item.

Le ganglion sentinelle post chimiothérapie

Gimbergues, Pierre 11 June 2010 (has links) (PDF)

Apposition in the contemporary French: description, position, function, frequency. Comparison with Czech.

DAŇKOVÁ, Klára January 2015 (has links)
The first aim of this work is to describe the way in which the term apposition is defined in French and Czech linguistics. The second aim is to examine the use of one type of French apposition in journalistic and legal texts and to find out which equivalents are used in the Czech language for these expressions. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes a description of different approaches of apposition in the French and Czech language. The practical part begins with a choice of one definition of apposition which will be further used in the corpus analysis. The corpus analysis is conducted by using the corpus InterCorp and its subject is to examine the function and frequency of French apposition in journalistic and legal texts and furthermore to analyse its Czech equivalents.
