Publicité en ligne sur les sites de presse issus de l'imprimé. Construction du marché, logiques de fonctionnement et perspectives d'évolution

Ouakrat, Alan 05 December 2011 (has links) (PDF)

Becoming a Fan of Social Media Marketers : Uses and Gratifications of Facebook Brand Pages

Song, Silbi January 2014 (has links)
The advent of social media has witnessed a transformation in how audiences interact with marketers online. While previous research has shown that media consumers generally hold a negative view of advertising, today’s media consumers are engaging with brands more than ever. This study examines what it means to be an active fan of marketers in social media to the modern media consumer through an investigation of how audiences relate to brands in the social media space. Centered around audiences’ uses and gratifications of three successful brand communities within Facebook through qualitative (field observations and individual interviews) and quantitative (surveys) methods, this study intends to gain further knowledge about the role of social media and its impact on forming new cultural trends. The findings suggest that while the uses and gratifications of Facebook brand pages and what becoming a fan of a brand on Facebook signifies to social media users vary, the prevailing motivation for and function of brand community membership is the construction of one’s digital identity in association with the brands of one’s choosing. Furthermore, despite being aware that Facebook brand communities are marketing platforms, fans were largely receptive to and held a positive attitude towards the brands. This critical study of brand fans on Facebook presents the importance of studying social media’s uses and implications in order to better understand new audience cultures within the interactive media landscape.

En gökunge i public service-boet? : Publikens roll i digitaliseringen av marksänd television / A cuckoo in the public service nest? : The audience role in digitalization of terrestrial television

Severson, Pernilla January 2004 (has links)
In a Swedish setting an audience orientation is applied to investigate public service TV in the ongoing development of terrestrial digital television. Focus is on institutionalized politics and public service TV companies Sveriges Television (Swedish Television) and Utbildningsradion (Education Radio). In a case study through a multitude of material, emphasizing policy documents and interviews but also including media coverage, it is explored how and why the audience is involved in public service digital TV development. Is it an operation in the public interest, and what does this mean for public service as a media policy principle? The empirical result indicates a complex and problematic audience, which is not constantly prioritized but always present. The audience legacy is threatened in public service TV by a consumer orientation. Concluding implications are on the one hand that feedback from the audience can not only be based in ratings and market analysis. On the other hand there is a need for an attitude towards public service legitimacy as utopian realism.

Netspeak som retoriskt verktyg : Skapar elementen inom netspeak mer påträngande problem än vad de löser?

Ronan, Sean January 2013 (has links)
With inspiration from Bitzers situational analysis a phenomenografic method has been used, influenced by Brown & Levinsons´s theory of politeness, to find perceptions concerning constraints (in Bitzer´s sense in his model of the rhetorical situation) in Internet-based communication. Based on three qualitative interviews, this essay has found that the perceptions are closely linked to views of what constitutes formal and informal contexts, varying due to the gender or age of the informant. Netspeak is not considered appropriate, with some exceptions, in any formal situation. However, the perceptions regarding decorum in informal situations differ in nature, based mainly on what kinds of associations and connotations are produced by elements found in netspeak. Since perceptions regarding informal situations vary, there is a large risk of misunderstanding, which this essay aims to survey.

K-12 Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) in a Rural School District on the High Plains of Texas: Mechanism for Teacher Support of Innovative Formative Assessment and Instruction with Technology (iFAIT)

Talkmitt, Marcia J. 03 October 2013 (has links)
The purpose of this study was to explore the evolution of collaborative practices of PLCs as they emerge when using technology based formative assessment via iFAIT or innovative Formative Assessment with Instruction and Technology developed by the researcher using audience response systems and the online data compiler, Eduphoria!. This study used sequential explanatory mixed methods to address the problems that schools face when implementing technology based formative assessments to improve instruction and student achievement. A survey administered in September 2012 and again in December 2012 provided a measure of teacher use of formative assessments, technology use in formative assessments, and perceptions of teachers using the PLC as a mechanism of support for technology based formative assessment. Training was facilitated by the researcher as PLCs worked together to develop, administer, and interpret formative assessments. Teacher interviews were conducted, and the study ended with the administration of the December 2012 survey and open-response questions for further qualitative analysis. Quantitative data analysis was completed using ANOVAs to determine if there were significant differences of teacher groups (subject taught, grade level taught, and years of teaching experience) use of iFAIT. This data analysis also included measures of frequency and paired sample t tests between the September and December 2012 responses. Qualitative data was analyzed using hand coding, word clouds, and WordSmith Tools. The triangulation of qualitative data in the quantitative data provided a narrative to document what collaborative factors affected the use of iFAIT. For school improvement and implementation of iFAIT, the study revealed that (1) with the right technology infrastructure, on-going professional development must be offered by administrators or sought after by teachers; (2) teachers must have strong beliefs in formative assessment and the technology that supports it; (3) open lines of communication must be supported through the PLC and administration; (4) teachers must see purpose in using revealing student data to drive instruction; and (5) PLCs must have common beliefs and believe that student achievement is connected to school improvement. PLCs should discuss data, share successes, and plan instruction through extended involvement in face-to-face and online venues as communities of practice.

Vývoj počítačových her jako média a jeho odraz ve specializovaných a mainstreamových médiích / Development of computer games as a medium and its reflection in specialized and mainstream media

Švelch, Jaroslav January 2013 (has links)
This dissertation aims to be a social history of 8-bit computer gaming culture in Czechoslovakia. It focuses mostly on the 1982-1989 period, i.e. from the beginnings of organized computer hobby scene until the end of the so-called "normalization" era. It draws from archival texts, mainly computer club newsletters, and oral history interviews. The resulting corpus is used both to reconstruct the social context surrounding computer game play at the time, and to identify social practices, norms and values connected with computer game playing. Theoretically, the dissertation draws from the social history of media, audience research in the vein of the British cultural studies, and game studies. The dissertation claims that in the earliest days of Czechoslovak computer hobby, the hobbyists were a prime example of active audience. As there was virtually no hardware and software market behind the Iron Curtain, hobbyists had to improvise ways of importing hardware and distributing software, often forming computer clubs to facilitate this. Computer game programming and play were integral parts of hobbyist experimentation. Around 1985, Western commercial games started to enter Czechoslovakia via efficient unauthorized distribution. Computer games have, however, become a hobby of its own a started to spread...
