Návrh nového autoservisu / Proposal for a new car service station

The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a proposal of a new car service station in a new lokality with regard to acquired experiences of the company. The first part of this work analyzes the current state in the company and current condition of a workshop. Together with that, it contains an economic research and put forward a strategy for the service station construction. The next, technical part, consists of the service station proposal with regard to outcomesin preceeding parts. Last part suggests an ekonomice valuation of the project.

Design cestovního automobilu / Car Design

I chose car design, because I like to discover modern car accidence. I find developmnet in this part of design fascinating. I’d probably have most freedom while designing a sport car, but since its very popular theme among students, I went with car for traveling. At first I wanted to create a futuristic concept. So I mostly did just idea sketching, while focusing on dynamic shape. Later I started to add more functional aspects to the design. I wanted to create automobile, that would bypass private cars and minibuses. I tryed to make my car flexible for traveling even longer distances, also sideseeing and city transport, therefor big part of exteriour is covered by windows, which leads to weaker cabine. Thats why I made firmer side posts to support the roof. While designing I was influenced by recent concepts and latest technologies, that were presented by leading automobile companies, such as electric glas and glas shaping. I believe one of the most interesting parts on my car is the headlights, that are situated under the front window surface. The headlights and also partialy the engine is visible from above through the frontal glass hood.

This diploma thesis deals with the design of the bodywork of a weekend sports car, based on the current Sigma TN vehicle, in order for better appearance and extended usability. The goal is accomplished by a new dynamic exterior design. Where the usability issue is solved by a modular roof system and luggage compartment. This work provides a new perspective on the concept and design of cars designed primarily for leisure driving.

The operational vehicle cabin design on the basis of T815-7 Tatra chassis shows possible way how the modern special category vehicle could look like. The design proposal corresponds with current factory production and at the same time brings new individual and unique look. The airport fire fighting special was worked up to be the most universal. The vehicle should fulfil the whole spectrum of the requirements which will be put on it. This diploma thesis solves the design as a complex. Therefore, the whole body was designed to show all the constraints and sequences.

This master‘s thesis pertains to the design of a cargo truck with battery electric drivetrain. The presented design offers a solution which respects the technical requirements of such a vehicle, ergonomic needs of its crew, and demands on the aesthetics of a modern commercial vehicle. In consideration of the chosen drivetrain, this solution is proposed as a concept with an outlook of 10 to 15 years in the future. In keeping with the specified goals, this vehicle offers a novel appearance which attempts to characterize the electric drivetrain with certain visual elements, includes solutions that are readily available or currently in development, and optimizes ergonomics for maximum user comfort and safety.

Das autonome Fahren ist derzeit aufgrund zahlreicher aktueller Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekte namhafter Automobilhersteller und -zulieferer im Fokus des öffentlichen Interesses. Der stetige Fortschritt des autonomen Fahrens kann unter anderem auf der jährlich in Las Vegas stattfindenden Consumer Electronics Show (CES) festgestellt werden, welche seit einiger Zeit auch von Automobilherstellern als Plattform zur Vorstellung neuer Technologien genutzt wird. So demonstrierte die Audi AG einen A7, der vollständig autonom vom Silicon Valley eine Strecke von 900 km Länge nach Las Vegas fuhr. Darüber hinaus legen auch automobilfremde Hochtechnologiekonzerne ihr Interesse an dieser Schlüsseltechnologie offen und präsentieren eigene Forschungs- und Entwicklungsarbeiten. Google verkündete die Forschung an einem eigenen autonomen Fahrzeug und auch Spekulationen über das Interesse von Apple wurden medial publik. Dennoch stehen die rasante Entwicklungsgeschwindigkeit und die öffentlich bereits präsentierte Funktionsfähigkeit des Autonomen Fahrens im Kontrast zu der geringen Anwendung im deutschen Straßenverkehr. In Deutschland und anderen Ländern sind bisher nur Pilotprojekte aus Forschung und Entwicklung existent. Diese unterliegen aktuell noch vielen Restriktionen. Dies macht deutlich, dass trotz der bisher erreichten Einzelerfolge dieser Technologie keine Serienreife besteht. So müssen für den tatsächlichen Einsatz des Autonomen Fahrens im Straßenverkehr technologische, soziologische sowie gesetzliche Rahmenbedingungen eingehalten, erweitert, angepasst, respektive erst noch definiert wer-den. Insbesondere im urbanen Umfeld besteht hier hoher Forschungsbedarf auch im Hin-blick auf technologische Rahmenbedingungen. Die vorliegende Arbeit soll einen Einblick über offene Fragestellungen und technologische Hürden sowie deren Bedeutung für das Autonome Fahren ermöglichen. Zudem wird ein kurzer Überblick darüber gegeben, wie dies auf den Sektor der Baumaschinen übertragbar ist.

The proposed clipping delimits the research in three newspapers of great circulation and prestige in the Carioca society of the period, they are: ?ltima Hora; Jornal do Brasil; O Globo. The choice of these journals takes into account the different positions that, according to historiography, have been presented by them in relation to themes relevant to Brazilian society. It is worth mentioning that this aspect has sometimes been the object of a linear reading of researchers who have studied the subject, crystallizing over the years by the repetition of the arguments, but which, according to what we seek to present, does not hold up after a more detailed empirical research. In addition to a simple framing of position in relation to ideological currents (neoliberal, developmentalist, socialist), we seek to present arguments that support the hypothesis that, avoiding reductionism, the position of the great newspapers must be understood within a broader universe and, fundamental condition, in relation to the other vehicles involved in the dispute for the imposition of a (more) legitimate view on the subject. The analysis of the arguments presented by the press in relation to the automobile industry is fundamental to the objectives we are proposing, since it was at the center of heated debates (political and economic) and constituted as a "revitalizing sector" of the project proposed by Juscelino from the Plano de Metas (Plan of Goals). Moreover, it allows access to essential topics for reading the positions taken, such as state intervention, economic planning, foreign capital regulation, customs protection, exchange control, role of development banks, administrative apparatus, among others. / O presente trabalho busca analisar a inser??o da grande imprensa carioca no debate acerca do processo de instala??o da ind?stria automobil?stica durante o governo de Juscelino Kubitschek (1956-1961). O recorte proposto delimita a pesquisa em tr?s jornais de grande circula??o e prestigio na sociedade carioca do per?odo, s?o eles: ?ltima Hora; Jornal do Brasil; O Globo. A escolha destes peri?dicos leva em considera??o os distintos posicionamentos que, segundo a historiografia, foram apresentados pelos mesmos frente ? temas relevantes para a sociedade brasileira. Cabe ressaltar que este aspecto fora, por vezes, objeto de uma leitura linear de pesquisadores que se debru?aram sobre o tema, cristalizando-se ao longo dos anos pela repeti??o dos argumentos, mas que, segundo buscamos apresentar, n?o se sustenta ap?s uma pesquisa emp?rica mais detalhada. So, we tried to identify the strategies that have enabled the development of these two automobile companies of national nature, its growth ambitions and the way they related to multinationals, this industrial branch, installed here. High taxes that protected the Brazilian industry in the years 70/80, allowed the emergence of dozens of small manufacturers over the proposed period. However, the economic imbalance of the eighties, demanded immense creativity of these entrepreneurs, who started the 1990s with an economic opening that exposed their markets and companies for competition with imports. From this, we fix its technological developments and innovation capabilities as a central means for understanding their realities and potentials. Methodologically, this thesis was based on bibliographic analysis and primary documents, combined with several interviews with people involved in the issue, and others performed in various news programs. / A tese que segue, buscou analisar a ind?stria automobil?stica brasileira entre as d?cadas de 1970 e 1990 a partir da an?lise do desenvolvimento empresarial de Jo?o Gurgel, Aldo Besson e Iltemar Gobbi e suas empresas: Gurgel Motores S.A. e Aldo Auto Capas, renomeada posteriormente para Besson, Gobbi S.A. Para tanto, partimos da compreens?o de que a ind?stria automobil?stica desempenha ainda hoje papel central na economia brasileira. Assim, buscamos identificar as estrat?gias que permitiram o desenvolvimento destas duas empresas automobil?sticas de cunho nacional, suas ambi??es de crescimento e a forma com que se relacionavam com as multinacionais deste ramo industrial aqui instaladas. A estrat?gia de pesquisa adotada foi o estudo de caso ?nico incorporado, com abordagem qualitativa e natureza explorat?ria, com a utiliza??o de entrevistas em profundidade como t?cnica de coleta de dados. A unidade de an?lise foi uma cadeia de suprimentos do setor automobil?stico ga?cho, sendo que foram investigados a empresa focal e oito membros cr?ticos da respectiva cadeia. Os dados coletados foram analisados seguindo as orienta??es da an?lise tem?tica de conte?do. Dentre os resultados desta pesquisa, foi poss?vel concluir que o instrumento final constru?do conseguiu contemplar seu prop?sito ao analisar a incorpora??o da sustentabilidade nas empresas pertencentes ? cadeia em refer?ncia. This paper performs a foreign trade analysis for the automotive sector in Brazil. Elasticities of substitution between imported vehicles and those produced and sold in Brazil, as well as between exported vehicles and those produced for the internal market, are calculated for the period of 1997 to 2015. This approach was first proposed by Armington (1969) and it was use Kume, Tourinho e Pedroso (2007). Using data of total import and export sum of vehicles, domestic, import and export prices, the Armington elasticities are computed according to the methodology of Tourinho, Kume e Pedroso (2007). / O setor automobil??stico no Brasil ?? respons??vel por 20% do produto interno bruto (PIB) da ind??stria de transforma????o e, por ser um setor estrat??gico, historicamente ?? amparado pelo governo brasileiro. O presente trabalho consiste numa an??lise do com??rcio exterior para o setor automobil??stico no Brasil. Para tanto, foram estimadas as elasticidades de substitui????o entre ve??culos importados e ve??culos produzidos e vendidos internamente, bem como entre ve??culos exportados e ve??culos produzidos e vendidos internamente, no per??odo de 1997 a 2015.
