Duomenų apsauga HL7 standarte / Data security using HL7

Šimas, Valdas 31 May 2004 (has links)
That is not the secret that most of health insuranse institutions are still using hand-documentation methods for information helding, processing and transmission. The research shows that about 70% of international medical transactions are accompished with the help of the telephony, fax or paper. For example, only in Lithuania this percent is the whole 100. Only in very special cases medical information exchange invokes current technical solutions. KMU centre of heart disease can be said is the beginner of the idea…The project started had to be extended to invoke all the medical Lithuanian institutions. With the help of KTU faculty of informatics the prototype for medical documents interchange was created. Having the solution of medical documentation interchange, I defined the problem area as medical information security problems. The data security problem is not the new one in the world of computer science. But this problem is very important and the new one in the world of medicine. The only one medical information fault in medicine can reason the human’s tragedy. The first my step is to define medical information security strategy. This will be accomplished by the analyzing main information security services. Having the defined strategy I will choose security technologies and will design the medical documentation security implementation. This work can be find in the analytical part of the current document. Design part of the document will show the solution of medical... [to full text]

Evaluation of BizTalk360 : From a business value perspective / Utvärdering av BizTalk360 : Från ett affärsvärdes perspektiv

Eriksson, Oskar January 2019 (has links)
This thesis was requested by Solution Xperts in Linköping and is an evaluation of the software BizTalk360, which is a add-on to the very well known application integration software BizTalk Server. One problem that many face with BizTalk Server is how to handle the post-implementation operations of their implementation. Referring to such factors as monitoring and security for instance. The built-in tools are very limited and lack a variety of functions that are very desirable. BizTalk360 tries to solve this. In order to evaluate the value that BizTalk360 brings to its users, two factors were taken into account. How important are the functions provided for the company? And how difficult would these be to implement independently?. After testing the BizTalk360 core functions and features and also implementing a representative function of BizTalk360, everything learnt were presented to group of experienced BizTalk Sever developers in order to receive estimates regarding their individual importance and theoretical implementation time. The importance of the functions proved quite minor. The platform offers a lot of smart solutions to various problems but these wont see enough use to justify the cost. The difficulty of implementing a similar platform were also estimated to be quite low, only time consuming. Estimated to take (through average) 653 man hours.

Can Microsoft Logic Apps replace Microsoft BizTalk? : An evaluation of integration platforms

Berglund, Anton, Fredriksson, Oscar January 2018 (has links)
Integration has always been an important and tricky task for IT-businesses. There are several products available for solving integration issues, one of them is the long developed platform BizTalk from Microsoft. As cloud computing has grown in recent years, Microsoft has been putting more focus towards the cloud. With their cloud, named Azure, expanding a new integration platform have been released, the iPaaS (integration Platform as a Service) Logic Apps. This report aims to evaluate the integration platforms Logic Apps and BizTalk with the purpose of finding out if the new Logic Apps can replace the long developed BizTalk. The evaluation is performed by implementing an application in both platforms, then evaluating selected parameters by giving each a score to concretize our assessment on quantify whether Logic Apps can replace BizTalk.

Orders From the Cloud : Business Integration as a Service

Hammar, Karl January 2009 (has links)
<p>This thesis describes the development of a SOA-based architecture for integrating large EDI-using manufacturing companies purchasing processes with smaller non-EDI capable manufacturing companies, using online services.</p><p>The underlying need for this project lies with the fact that these small manufacturing companies risk to miss out on business, due to their inability to communicate via the industry standard EDI format. At the same time, getting EDI-capable involves significant investments in software licenses, connectivity services and consulting or training that these small companies may not be ready to make. The mentor company of this thesis project, System Andersson, produces resource planning software for this type of companies and would like to be able to provide them with an easy to use way of “jacking in” EDI support into their businesses, without having to make such significant investments. Ideally this feature would be developed as a standalone subscription based service that could be provided to users in such a way that their existing System Andersson software could connect to it and no further hard- or software would be needed on site. This EDI-enabling should be as easy as to be entirely transparent for the end-user companies. The task handed to the author was thus to develop an architecture for how such a subscription based service could be developed. Furthermore, in order to promote re-use and simplify development, the architecture was to be based on SOA concepts.</p><p>As a result of the project, such an architecture has been developed. The architecture details two services for translating and storing for later delivery a number of EDI message types of the EDIFACT variety. The architecture also specifies communications protocols (SOAP over HTTPS and AS2 over HTTPS) and APIs (web services) for how to communicate with these services. These specifications can be used to implement a system that performs the necessary integration, so that the smaller companies may indeed communicate via EDI.</p><p>The fitness of the developed architecture has been tested by implementing a prototype version of such a system based on it. It has also been validated by way of comparing to how well it adheres to SOA design principles. All in all, this design appears to be quite sound and presents a working solution to the studied problem.</p>

Porovnání nástrojů pro integraci aplikací / Comparison of tools for application's integration

Kmínek, Jiří January 2008 (has links)
In this diploma thesis, I focus on the application integration. Main goal of this thesis is comparison of integration platforms of the biggest vendors on the market, there are products of companies Microsoft, IBM, Oracle and SAP. I compare these products according criteria, which I had chosen. I use mainly own experiences with the products to achieve a goal. These products I compare with respect to general, technological and possibility of using point of view. My work can be as a source for decision, which of the integration platforms is optimal to use. Then I describe one of them - Microsoft Biztalk Server with simple example. The next goal of this work is to summarize the theory of application integration, where I describe the possibilities of integration's application from the simplest till the most complicated. The next goal of this work is making a methodology in Biztalk Server, which will contain concrete solutions and techniques in different situations. This methodology can help developers and analysts to make better proposals, more convenient solutions and beware of needless problems.

XML-based Frameworks for Internet Commerce and an Implementation of B2B e-procurement

Zhao, Yuxiao January 2001 (has links)
<p>It is not easy to apply XML in e-commerce development for achieving interoperability in heterogeneous environments. One of the reasons is a multitude of XML-based Frameworks for Internet Commerce (XFIC), or industrial standards. This thesis surveys 15 frameworks, i.e., ebXML, eCo Framework, UDDI, SOAP, BizTalk, cXML, ICE, Open Applications Group, RosettaNet, Wf-XML, OFX, VoiceXML, RDF, WSDL and xCBL.</p><p>This thesis provides three models to systematically understand how the 15 frameworks meet the requirements of e-commerce. A hierarchical model is presented to show the purpose and focus of various XFIC initiatives. A relationship model is given to show the cooperative and competitive relationships between XFIC. A chronological model is provided to look at the development of XFIC. In addition, the thesis offers guidelines for how to apply XFIC in an e-commerce development.</p><p>We have also implemented a B2B e-procurement system. That not only demonstrates the feasibility of opensource or freeware, but also validates the complementary roles of XML and Java: XML is for describing contents and Java is for automating XML documents (session handling). Auction-based dynamic pricing is also realized as a feature of interest. Moreover, the implementation shows the suitability of e-procurement for educational purposes in e-commerce development.</p> / Report code: LiU-Tek-Lic-2001:19.
