A method has been created that addresses the issues that prohibit the conversion of product artifacts into a secure, efficient and reliable Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment. These issues include automatic import of data into a PLM system and revision control of such data. A test case is shown which specifically addresses these issues as they pertain to the management of both legacy and new engineering data in a PLM system.

ETL processes play an increasingly important role for the support of modern business operations. These business processes are centred around artifacts with high variability and diverse lifecycles, which correspond to key business entities. The apparent complexity of these activities has been examined through the prism of Business Process Management, mainly focusing on functional requirements and performance optimization. However, the quality dimension has not yet been thoroughly investigated and there is a need for a more human-centric approach to bring them closer to business-users requirements. In this paper we take a first step towards this direction by defining a sound model for ETL process quality characteristics and quantitative measures for each characteristic, based on existing literature. Our model shows dependencies among quality characteristics and can provide the basis for subsequent analysis using Goal Modeling techniques.

Digitalization is a topic that affects most of the industries as well as the society overalltoday. Within this topic, the use of mobile technology devices, such as smartphones,allows organizations to perform tasks in an anytime-anywhere situation – usually calledenterprise mobility. The Swedish Police Authority see the potential of this technologyshift that is happening and are currently focusing on developing tools to support thedaily operations. The debriefing process for the intervention police is an area wheredigitalization and mobility could improve the efficiency. However, it is today unknownwhat technical solution could support the operations, what features it should include,and how it should look.The purpose of this study was to investigate how mobility can support the debriefingprocess in forms of efficiency for the polices in field from an exploratory point of view.An inductive research approach was chosen together with a case study researchmethod. Semi-structured and unstructured interviews were held with 35 participantsfrom different parts of the organization to get both a breadth and depth of knowledge.The delimitation was made to study the Swedish Police Authority and more in detail theintervention police. The current debriefing process was observed and mapped in thefirst part of this study, followed by part two which included a technical specification andprototyping of a mobile debriefing tool based on interviews and observations. Thefindings from part one and part two resulted in a proposed specification of a mobiledebriefing tool for what it should include and how it should look.The study shows that the proposition of a debriefing tool can increase the efficiency forthe Swedish Police Authority by reducing the duplication of work, increase the usabilityfor the users, reduce the risk for human errors, and reduce the dependency ofstationary workplaces for debriefing. The debriefing tool includes quality assurance ofthe information gathered through a structured working process at the same time. Thefactors mentioned above can also be linked to reduced time spent on the tasks whileretain or even increase the quality of the results – which in this case is the debriefingreport.

Service-oriented environments are central backbone of todays enterprise workflows. These workflow includes traditional process types like travel booking or order processing as well as data-intensive integration processes like operational business intelligence and data analytics. For the latter process types, current execution semantics and concepts do not scale very well in terms of performance and resource consumption. In this paper, we present a concept for data streaming in business processes that is inspired by the typical execution semantics in data management environments. Therefore, we present a conceptual process and execution model that leverages the idea of stream-based service invocation for a scalable and efficient process execution. In selected results of the evaluation we show, that it outperforms the execution model of current process engines.

Актуальность темы обусловлена тем, что на металлургическом предприятии вручную ведётся подсчёт и сверка количества трубной продукции, что предполагает большие трудозатраты и допущение ошибок в подсчётах. Научная новизна состоит в том, что было проанализировано большое количество исследований по теме применения методов компьютерного зрения для автоматизации бизнес-процессов на металлургическом предприятии, а также разработана уникальная программа, распознающая геометрические фигуры на снимке и подсчитывающая их количество. Практическая значимость работы заключается в том, что разработанная программа будет ежедневно использоваться в процессе отгрузки трубной продукции, упрощая процесс подсчёта количества труб в пачке и снижая время обработки заказа на отгрузку. / The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that the metallurgical enterprise manually counts and reconciles the number of pipe products, which involves large labor costs and the assumption of errors in calculations. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that a large number of studies on the use of computer vision methods for automating business processes at a metallurgical enterprise have been analyzed, and a unique program has been developed that recognizes geometric shapes in the image and counts their number. The practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the developed program will be used daily in the process of shipping pipe products, simplifying the process of counting the number of pipes in a bundle and reducing the processing time of the shipment order.

To achieve this goal, the following tasks were identified: to analyze the market of gas stations in the Russian Federation; to study the trends in the development of information systems of gas station services; to study the life cycle of information systems; to determine the requirements and specifications for the creation of an information system; to develop business processes of an information system; to carry out modeling of business processes "TO-BE"; to plan an information system development project; to calculate the economic efficiency of the project; to manage project risks; to develop a service promotion plan; to implement the practical implementation of the project. As a result of the work, a plan is presented for the development of a new fuel delivery system using information technology, the development of which can solve a number of problems of existing IS.
