A presente dissertação relata um processo artístico em que um ator criador organiza e desenvolve procedimentos técnicos - focados na linguagem corporal, na criatividade e no estudo de movimentos - para confeccionar uma máscara inteira expressiva, desenvolver o personagem proposto por esta e, posteriormente, criar uma cena. A pesquisa também explora o potencial cênico da máscara teatral e tem como referencial teórico a pedagogia desenvolvida por Jacques Lecoq e elementos presentes na linguagem cinematográfica de animação. / This study presents an artistic process wherein an actor creator organizes and develops technical procedures focused on body language, creativity, and the study of movements. CineScrúpulos es una revista digital que recopila los trabajos desarrollados por los alumnos en la clase de Historia del Cine de la Facultad de Comunicaciones de la UPC. El curso no pretende brindar una visión historicista del cine repleta de fechas, nombres de directores, títulos de películas y lugares exóticos, sino que intenta evidenciar la linealidad casi genética que es intrínseca al quehacer fílmico, una tradición que no solo se repite sino que se reinterpreta en distintos escenarios y en distintos momentos. Porque se entiende que el cine es, ante todo, la herencia permanente de lo que se ha hecho antes. Los textos de la revista CineScrúpulos han sido elaborados por los alumnos, profesores y colaboradores de la Facultad de Comunicaciones de la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Las imágenes utilizadas han sido obtenidas de distintas páginas web y el uso de las mismas se inscribe en lo estrictamente académico y divulgativo. / La presente edición de Cinescrúpulos se centra en la obra de Stanley Kubrick, excéntrico y extraño, alejado de los reflectores en los últimos años de su vida pero entregado en cuerpo y alma al entorno familiar. El director legó una filmografía del crecimiento, del descubrimiento, del enaltecimiento de la experimentación, del regocijo que origina evitar los formulismos del género, de encontrar la independencia tras haber flirteado con el monstruo corporativo, de no hacerle ascos al terror o al erotismo, de jugar cada una de sus piezas con la maestría del ajedrecista nato que era. También nos damos un tiempo para descubrir los vínculos que existen entre el cine de Charles Chaplin y la construcción de personajes y narrativas que han encumbrado a Pixar como una de las opciones más inteligentes en el terreno de los dibujos animados de los últimos años. Y como broche de oro, una pregunta válida: Francisco Lombardi, nuestro cineasta con la mayor cantidad de títulos estrenados en salas, ¿estará construyendo un cine de género en el Perú o apunta más bien hacia otro lado?.

O presente trabalho investiga a forma como as infâncias e as masculinidades são apresentadas no desenho animado Bob Esponja Calça Quadrada a partir da análise da interação de linguagens visuais e sonoras. A fim de realizar um estudo detalhado e atento foram selecionados seis episódios da série para, partindo deles, investigar e discutir os temas propostos. Como aporte teórico referente aos estudos de mídia e aos desenhos animados foram empregados os textos de FUSARI, FERRÉS, FISCHER, PILLAR. Relativos às questões das infâncias foram utilizados os textos de ARIÈS, CORAZZA, POSTMAN, KUHLMANN. Para aprofundar as discussões em relação às masculinidades e às relações de gênero foram importantes os textos de CONNELL, LOURO, FELIPE. E os textos dos estudiosos da semiótica discursiva e do sincretismo: BARROS, FLOCH, GREIMAS, LANDOWSKI, OLIVEIRA e FANTINATTI, MÉDOLA, TEIXEIRA, nortearam a análise semiótica. Essa pesquisa revelou a contemporaneidade de Bob Esponja tanto em relação ao apagamento das fronteiras entre a infância e a vida adulta, quanto em relação à representação não estereotipada dos gêneros masculino e feminino. / The present work investigates how childhood and masculinity are presented in the cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants from the analysis of the interaction of audio and visual languages. In order to conduct a detailed and careful study were selected six episodes for the series for, based on them, investigate and discuss the themes. As theoretical support referring to media and cartoons studies were used texts FUSARI, FERRÉS, FISCHER, PILLAR. On the issues of childhood were used texts of ARIÉS, CORAZZA, POSTMAN, KUHLMANN. To deepen the discussion about masculinity and gender relations were important the texts of CONNELL, LOURO, FELIPE. And to guide the semiotic analysis were used texts referring to semiotic and discursive syncretism: BARROS, FLOCH, GREIMAS, LANDOWSKI, OLIVEIRA and FANTINATTI, MÉDOLA, TEIXEIRA. This research revealed the contemporaneity of SpongeBob both on the erasure of boundaries between childhood and adulthood, as in relation to nonstereotypical representation of male and female.

Situated in the intercrossing of these two theoretical sources, this work turns to an analysis concerning the construction process of meanings of journalistic cartoons, with the purpose of verifying the contribution of intertextuality to this dynamic process, in the scope of Paraíba press. For this intent, the research turned to the analysis of the cartoons published in Correio da Paraíba and Jornal da Paraíba, from July to October of 2005, period registered as one of the most significant historical pages of Brazilian politics life during the last decades. Based on an interdisciplinary perspective, this work has as main theoretical support the dialogue theory of Mikhail Bakhtin, also using some theoretical principles from Linguistics, mainly from Textual Linguistics, Speech Analysis and Semiotics. In what concerns to the nature of this work, it is about a qualitative research, on a documentary character, which was developed from the collected material, through which both descriptive analyses and data interpretation had been carried through. Amongst the conclusions, it was evidenced that intertextuality is one of the main phenomena which are responsible for the construction of meaning of cartoons in Paraíba newspapers, ando also that this reality is processed through many different intertextual strategies involving both the cartoon and a series of intertexts with whom it is related within and without the newspaper. We also observed that the interaction process between enunciator and enunciated of the cartooned text is strongly tied to this intertextual and essentially dialogical chaining. / Considerado como um fenômeno de grande complexidade da vida humana, a significação continua sendo um dos maiores desafios perseguidos por estudiosos da área das ciências da linguagem e da comunicação. Situado no entrecruzar destas duas vertentes teóricas, este trabalho se volta para uma análise acerca do processo de construção da significação da charge jornalística, com o objetivo de verificar a contribuição da intertextualidade neste dinâmico processo, no âmbito da imprensa paraibana. Para isto, a pesquisa se propôs a analisar as charges publicadas nos jornais diários Correio da Paraíba e Jornal da Paraíba, de julho a outubro de 2005, período este registrado como uma das páginas históricas mais marcantes da vida política brasileira das últimas décadas. Baseado numa perspectiva interdisciplinar, o estudo tem como suporte teórico principal a teoria de dialogismo de Mikhail Bakhtin, utilizando-se ainda de alguns princípios teóricos da Lingüística, em especial da Lingüística Textual, da Análise do Discurso e também da Semiótica. No que diz respeito à natureza do trabalho, trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa de caráter documental desenvolvida a partir do material coletado, por meio do qual foram realizadas análises descritivas e a interpretação dos dados. Dentre as conclusões, ficou evidenciado que a intertextualidade é um dos principais fenômenos responsáveis pela construção da significação de charges na imprensa paraibana e que esta realidade se processa através de diversas estratégias intertextuais envolvendo a charge e vários tipos de intertextos com os quais esta se relaciona dentro e fora do jornal. Também foi constatado que o processo de interação entre enunciador e enunciatário do texto chárgico está fortemente vinculado a este encadeamento essencialmente dialógico e de caráter intertextual.

L'objectif de la thèse est de mettre au jour les différents modes de représentation du discours autre et de déterminer leur fonctionnement dans la construction du dessin de presse en tant que commentaire de l'événement médiatique. En tant que genre hybride et humoristique, le dessin de presse emprunte ses caractéristiques rhétoriques, thématiques, discursives et formelles à la caricature, au dessin d'humour, à la bande dessinée et au commentaire journalistique. Quant aux différentes formes d'humour dans le dessin, elles sont liées étroitement à la ligne éditoriale du périodique de publication et elles sont censées créer une connivence avec le lecteur. Le cadre théorique repose sur les recherches d'Authier-Revuz. Elle détermine le lien d'un acte d'énonciation avec les différents modes de représentation du discours autre en s'appuyant sur leurs caractéristiques sémiotiques, syntaxiques et sémantiques spécifiques. Également, la représentation du discours autre relève du dialogisme bakhtinien et le lecteur doit parfois faire appel à sa mémoire discursive, sémantique, historique et collective ainsi qu'à l'implicite pour reconnaître certains énoncés comme relevant de la représentation du discours autre. Le cadre théorique ainsi posé est appliqué à un corpus de 150 dessins de presse publiés dans le quotidien Le Monde, dans l'hebdomadaire Courrier international et exposés au Mémorial de Caen entre 2010 et 2014. Les conclusions des analyses sont les suivantes : premièrement, le discours direct, le discours indirect, la modalisation en assertion seconde et la modalisation autonymique d'emprunt sont les modes de représentation du discours autre présents dans le dessin de presse. Deuxièmement, il apparaît que, malgré le repérage systématique des caractéristiques spécifiques de chaque mode, il est parfois impossible de trancher définitivement sur une forme. Seules les connaissances du lecteur peuvent l'inciter à trancher en faveur d'un mode ou d'un autre. Troisièmement, les modes de représentation du discours autre ainsi déterminés participent de la construction d'un commentaire critique, parfois humoristique, de l'événement médiatique. / The aim of the dissertation is to identify different forms of reported speech and to highlight their importance in the construction of cartoons functioning as news comments in the press. The "cartoon" is a hybrid and humorous genre, which owes its rhetorical, thematic, discursive and formal characteristics to the caricature, the humorous drawing, the comic strip and the press comment. The different types of humor in the cartoon are closely connected to the editorial line of the periodical and are supposed to create a certain complicity between the cartoonist and his reader. The theoretical framework of the dissertation is based on Authier-Revuz's work. She identifies different types of reported speech by their specific semiotic, syntactic and semantic characteristics. Reported speech also falls within dialogism as Bakhtin defined it. Readers need their discursive, semantic, historic and collective memory as well as a certain proficiency in detecting implicit messages in order to understand some occurrences of reported speech. The theoretical framework is put into practice on a corpus of 150 cartoons published in the French daily newspaper Le Monde, in the French weekly review of international press Courrier international or exposed at the "Mémorial de Caen" from 2010 to 2014. One can conclude that firstly, indirect speech, direct speech, "modalisation en assertion seconde" and "modalisation autonymique d'emprunt" are found in the cartoons. Secondly, it can be difficult to attribute a type to an utterance of reported speech even when the analyst systematically checks all utterances for specific characteristics. Only the reader's former knowledge can help him choose one of the forms. Thirdly, the cartoonist uses reported speech to create a critical and sometimes humorous comment on events and their treatment in the media.

<p>Based on the cartoon show <em>The Simpsons, </em>the present investigation finds out that  there are differences in the communicative competence between male and female speakers, especially the selected characters from the cartoon show, in terms of their use of minimal responses. The focus will be on the frequency, type and function of male and female usage of minimal responses.</p>
