O objetivo principal desta pesquisa é explorar e descrever o cenário contemporâneo do Open Design especialmente no contexto brasileiro. Foi elaborada uma indagação sobre o conceito de abertura (Openness) em diferentes campos do conhecimento visando maior e melhor entendimento da abertura. O trabalho está dividido em três partes, a primeira é a construção do conceito de abertura desde diferentes campos do conhecimento, a segunda parte é um olhar sobre a contemporaneidade, as novas tecnologias e o design, e a terceira é uma análise do Open Design e sua prática no contexto brasileiro. Esta pesquisa visa contribuir para um melhor e mais abrangente entendimento do design contemporâneo por meio de uma de suas vertentes, o Open Design. Pretende, ainda, colaborar para a disseminação e o entendimento do desenvolvimento de produtos, sistemas e serviços materiais e imateriais gerados pelo trabalho livre e colaborativo / Abstract: The present work is a design look back about contemporary times and some changes caused by technologies and the new forms of collective actions in support of ideias that permit to acess, distribution of good, products and services for collectivity. The main aim of this research is explore and describe the contemporary context, especially in the Brazilian context. It was made an inquiry about Openness concept in different knowledge fields, aiming at a better and greather understanding of Openness. This work is dividing into three parts. The first part is the construction of Openness concept from different knowledge fields. The second part is a look about contemporary time, about new technologies and design. The third part is an analysis of Open Design and its practice in the Brazilian context. A partir da análise textual, temática e interpretativa de um material selecionado por meio de um levantamento bibliográfico e de leitura técnica, são identificados alguns aspectos do consumo e do design no Brasil daquele período, para, em seguida, discutir-se a relevância do consumo para a compreensão de manifestações da atividade projetual em território brasileiro. As análises realizadas baseiam-se numa revisão da literatura que aborda aspectos do consumo articulado ao design, como o fetichismo da mercadoria, a dinâmica do mercado de impressos na era industrial, o estabelecimento de lojas de departamentos em centros urbanos europeus e as manufaturas de artigos de luxo do século 18. Observa-se que alguns dos principais sentidos do design, em sua história no mundo moderno e no Brasil oitocentista, se premitem compreender por meio dos aspectos sociais e culturais revelados a partir do consumo de artefatos industrializados / Abstract: This study consists in a literature review on the history of design and focuses on understanding the connections between consumption and practice of design in Brazil in the 19th century. From the textual, thematic and interpretative analysis of a chosen material through a literature review and technical reading, some aspects of consumption and design are identified in Brazil during such period, to then discuss the relevance of consumption for understanding manifestations of design activity in Brazil. The analyzes are based on a literature review that approaches aspects of the articulation between design and consumption as commmodity fetishism, the dynamics of the print market in the industrial era, the establishment of department stores in European urban centers and the manufacturing of articles of luxury in the 18th century. It is observed that some of the main directions of design in its history in the modern world and in Brazil in the nineteenth-century, can be understood through social and cultural aspects revealed from the consumption of industrialized artifacts / Mestre

Partimos da hipótese de que as organizações mudam para se adaptar a esse novo contexto, buscando novas estratégias (estruturais e gerenciais) e novos referenciais. Diante desse cenário, temos como objetivos principais verificar o cenário do tempo atual, que chamaremos de modernidade radicalizada que circunda as organizações e compreender por que as organizações mudam e como elas se reformulam perante as transformações do mundo contemporâneo. Para isso alguns modelos organizacionais e mudanças ocorridas no mundo do trabalho serão analisados, procurando demonstrar as rupturas geradas nos modelos organizacionais tradicionais (burocrático, taylorista-fordista) ocasionadas pelas novas formas de estruturação do capitalismo e da globalização que exigem flexibilidade, velocidade e abertura a mudanças. A partir do referencial bibliográfico utilizado, testaremos a hipótese dessa pesquisa num estudo de caso que analisará a Embraer e o seu Programa de Excelência Empresarial Embraer, mais conhecido como P3E para verificar como os conceitos e noções de modernidade radicalizada, globalização, acirramento da concorrência e mercado são abordados no discurso da empresa / Abstract: This thesis aims to study the organizational world before the changes in the political, economic and cultural scene caused by globalization and radicalization of modernity. Our hypothesis is that organizations change to adapt themselves to this new context, seeking new strategies (structural and management) and new references. Given this scenario, we have as main objectives verify the current time, that we'll call radicalized modernity, that surrounds organizations and understand why organizations change and how they reshape before the transformations of the contemporary world. For that some organizational models and changes in the labor market will be analyzed, trying to demonstrate the disruptions generated by traditional organizational models (bureaucratic, Taylor-Ford) caused by new forms of development of capitalism and globalization that require flexibility, speed and openness to changes. Este trabalho tem o objetivo de compreender os aspectos sociais, culturais e políticos que envolvem a existência de um funcionário de alta hierarquia, a saber, Weni, bem como a produção social de sua autobiografia no Reino Antigo Tardio. Para isso, dividimos o percurso da pesquisa em três momentos. No primeiro fazemos uma apresentação do contexto históricos, com ênfase nos processos ligados à administração e às práticas religiosas e funerárias. Em seguida, partimos para a análise dos aspectos formais e simbólicos da autobiografia do sujeito estudado, além dos acontecimentos narrados no documento. Por fim, propomos uma interpretação da trajetória de Weni que supere os problemas da sua análise puramente textual a partir da visualidade e da materialidade da autobiografia. / This work aims to understand the social, cultural and political aspects that involve the existence of a senior official, namely Weni the Elder, as well as the social production of this autobiography in the Late Old Kingdom. For this, we divide this work in three moments. In the first one, we present a historical context, with emphasis on processes related to the administration and religious and funeral practices. We than proceed to analyze the formal and symbolical of the subject studied’s autobiography, as well as events narrated in the document. Finally, we propose an interpretation of the Weni’s trajectory that overcomes the problems of his purely textual analysis from the visuality and materiality of the autobiography.

Valendo-se de fontes, discográficas, documentos audiovisuais, documentos de arquivo e discursos produzidos pela imprensa, procurou documentar desde o momento contracultural em que ela participou do grupo Os Mutantes junto aos movimentos da Tropicália, até seu momento de reconhecimento de maturidade artística que ocorre concomitante ao término do Regime Militar autoritário no Brasil. A pesquisa refaz o caminho de suas primeiras experiências com o rock na juventude, investiga como ocorre sua participação nos discos dos Mutantes, e as tensões da separação. Acompanha a trajetória de reestabelecimento de sua carreira artística, e seus trabalhos com outros conjuntos ou de maneira solo. O trabalho também identifica elementos estéticos em suas canções que ajudam a compreender a difusão e ampliação de público do rock no Brasil. Bem como, vários aspectos de projeção de sua imagem na conquista do Mainstream fonográfico, ao qual Rita Lee Jones se viu alçada em meados dos anos 80. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The present study followed part of the trajectory of the artist Rita Lee Jones in the period between 1967 to 1985. Relying on record sources, audiovisual documents, archive documents and discourses produced by the media, sought to document from the countercultural moment when she participated in the group Os Mutantes at the Tropicalia movement, until her moment of recognition of artistic maturity that occurs concurrent with the end of the authoritarian military regime in Brazil. The study retraces the path of her first experiences with the rock in his youth, investigating how her participation in the disks of Os Mutantes occurs, and the tensions of separation. Follows the trajectory of the reinstatement of her artistic career, and her work with other music groups or as a solo artist. The work also identifies aesthetic elements in her songs that help to understand the spread and expansion of the rock audience in Brazil, as well as various aspects of projection of her image in the conquest of the phonographic mainstream, to which Rita Lee Jones was raised in the mid-80s.

A vasta região era apenas conhecida por mapas, por vezes imprecisos, e pelos relatos dos exploradores que a visitavam. As poucas iniciativas de incursão às terras austrais do continente americano eram limitadas pela presença de inúmeras sociedades indígenas, que resistiam à aculturação pretendida. Somente na segunda metade do século XIX, as ações contra os povos originários foram intensificados, convergindo para a inclusão da região ao mapa argentino. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The construction of the Argentinean Patagonia in the legal and political state, as well as its integration process in the country, was analyzes within this Master’s theses. The vast region was only known by maps, sometimes imprecise, and by the explorers’ reports that has visited Patagonian land. The few initiatives raid the land of Southern Hemisphere, were limited by the presence of many indigenous societies, which resisted in opposition to acculturation desires by the settler. Only in the second half of nineteenth century, the actions against the indigenous people have been intensified, converging in the achievement of this region to Argentina’s map.

A investigação fundamenta-se nas concepções de alguns teóricos, tais como Levy (1998); Libâneo, (2000); Libâneo, Oliveira e Toschi (2003); Barreto (2003); Masetto (2003); Kenski (2004); Pretto (2008); Pesce (2011), dentre outros. Com o propósito de constatar como essa cultura digital está sendo integrada às escolas municipais, foram utilizadas pesquisas bibliográfica, documental e de campo, com observações e entrevistas semiestruturadas com enfoque qualitativo. O texto está estruturado em cinco capítulos: Tecnologia e cibercultura: contextualização do problema; Mediação e cultura digital; Metodologia de pesquisa; A voz da escola: coleta e análise de dados e; Considerações finais. O resultado da investigação demonstra um indicativo que a integração da cultura digital na mediação pedagógica das escolas municipais de Goiânia está num estágio meio estacionário, porque, apesar de a rede escolar ter sido equipada com laboratórios de informática e uma escola com o Projeto UCA, alguns fatores interferem na efetivação da cibercultura, como infraestrutura insuficiente (número de computadores versus número de alunos, laboratórios fechados, déficit de funcionários) e formação específica para os professores. É importante ressaltar que os professores pesquisados demonstraram interesse em aprender mais sobre a mediação pedagógica via novas tecnologias de informação, comunicação e expressão. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This paper discusses the “Impacts of Cyberculture on pedagogical mediation in public schools of Goiânia (GO) Elementary School.” The research is based on the views of some theorists, such as Levy (1998); Libâneo, (2000); Libâneo, Oliveira and Toschi (2003); Barreto (2003); Masetto (2003); Kenski (2004); Pretto (2008); Pesce (2011), among others. In order to see how this digital culture is being integrated with municipal schools, have been used bibliographic, documental and field observations and semi structured interviews with qualitative approach. The text is divided into five chapters: Technology and cyberculture: contextualization of the problem; Mediation and digital culture; Research methodology, Data collection and analysis: the voice of the school, and; Final considerations. The result of research shows an indication that the integration of digital culture in the mediation of pedagogical schools in Goiânia is in a stationary medium stage, because, although the school system has been equipped with computer labs and a school with Project UCA, some factors interfere the effectiveness of cyberculture, as insufficient infrastructure (number of computers versus number of students, laboratories closed, officials deficit) and specific training for teachers. It is important to show that teachers expressed interest in learning more about the mediation via new technologies of information, communication and expression.

Com o auxílio de autores como Jean Baudrillard, Eduardo Subirats, Walter Benjamin, Paul Virílio, este trabalho acadêmico busca discutir o alcance e a pertinência da aplicabilidade dos conceitos do virtual e da virtualização como agentes de uma “inteligência coletiva” e do “universal sem totalidade” na condição de principais produtos da tecnociência que se desenvolve contemporaneamente, descritos e argumentados pelo filósofo do neo-iluminismo em questão, a fim de que se discuta seu entendimento da arte enquanto “virtualização da virtualização”. A segunda parte deste trabalho trata da Poesia Visual, desse gênero de poesia experimental, intersemiótica, nascida do vanguardismo poético concretista, do poema processo, semiótico, etc, dos efeitos e alterações em seu modo de produção e em seu potencial expressivo proporcionados pelas novas tecnologias digitais. De uma poesia que, acompanhando o ritmo frenético do surgimento de tecnologias midiáticas, desprende-se da bidimensionalidade da página e se “desterritorializa” pelas redes e dispositivos hipertextuaiss do ciberespaço (de supermercados,também). Recorre para tanto à teorização de autores como Philadelpho Menezes, Jorge Luiz Antônio e Antônio Miranda, dentre outros. _________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This work explores the emerging field of cyberculture in its relatioship with art and technology, computer-mediated telecomunication such as the internet and the World Wide Web (cyberspace, virtual communities, virtual reality, visual, digital poetry and so on). In order to achieve his purpose, diveded in two parts, its discusses some concepts, specifically virtual and virtuality as “part” of reality, cyberspace as a methaphorical space of computer systems and networks. It focuses on the work of Pierre Lévy (among others like Jean Baudrillard, Eduardo Subirats, Walter Benjamin and Paul Virilio) a world-leadind thinker on “colletive intelligence” and cyberculture; on the development on information and digital networks, hipertextual communication. This work develops the concept of “digital virtualization” as an alternative one to Pierre Lévy’ theorie that speculate the art in his technological context is a “vitualization of virtualization”. As an interdisciplinary work, the second part of it, focused on Philadelpho Menezes’ works and papers, discusses the visual poetry in order to study the phenomena of transition into the digital and “virtual” technological language. The new digital technologies has provided the contemporary experimental poetry with a new potential source of expressive instruments such us three-dimensional appearance and hipertextual links.

Práticas culturais envolvem entrelaçamentos aprendidos socialmente, recorrentes dentre os membros de um grupo e cuja existência perpassa a existência de cada membro. As regras são um importante fator no estudo de práticas culturais, pois o comportamento verbal está sempre envolvido em processos culturais humanos e pode ter a função de manter o comportamento enquanto a consequência de um entrelaçamento ainda não exerceu controle. As regras envolvidas na cultura podem exercer controle tecnológico ou cerimonial. Regras de controle tecnológico descrevem a consequência a longo prazo que beneficia todos os indivíduos do grupo. Regras de controle cerimonial especificam apenas o comportamento a ser seguido e fazem referência ao status do falante da regra. Neste estudo, os participantes foram divididos em três grupos cada qual com 8 gerações e convidados a fazer doações das fichas ganhas após uma tarefa distrativa mediante a apresentação de regras de controle tecnológico ou cerimonial. O montante de fichas doadas era trocado por fichas de valor dobrado e devolvidos na geração seguinte. Foram observadas práticas culturais no padrão de doações e entrelaçamentos de contingências envolvendo comportamentos verbais. A presença de regras tecnológicas ou cerimoniais gerou um desempenho mais eficaz e permitiu a coordenação dos comportamentos dos membros do grupo. Demonstrou-se o controle por regras mesmo quando o seguimento da regra não era coerente à contingência individual, apenas com a metacontingência. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / At the cultural level of human behavior selection, one unit of analysis is the metacontingency. It involves interlocked behavior contingencies - IBCs, an aggregated product and an external cultural consequence. Cultural practices involve socially learned IBCs that are recurrent between the members of the group and whose existence goes beyond any member’s existence. Rules have an important function in the study of cultural practices, because the verbal behavior is always present in human cultural processes and because it may have the function of maintaining the behavior while the consequence for an IBC still isn’t exercising control. Rules involved in culture can exert technological or ceremonial control. Rules of technological control describe the long term consequence that benefits all the group members. Rules of ceremonial control specify only the behavior to be followed and make reference to the status of the rule speaker. Participants were divided into three groups with eight generations each. They were invited to donate the tokens they earned in a distractive activity after the presentation of technological or ceremonial rules. The tokens donated were exchanged for double value tokens and were given back to the next generation. Cultural practices were observed in the donation pattern of the group and IBCs involving verbal behavior. The presence of technological or ceremonial rules generated a more efficient performance and permitted the coordination of members' behavior. The control by rules was demonstrated even when following of the rule was not consistent with individual contingency, although it was consistent with the metacontingency was.

A fim de tentar resolver essa questão criamos três hipóteses de pesquisa, que tiveram em sua análise variáveis dependentes e independentes. Foram elas: H1) As redes virtuais são espaços potencializadores de sociabilidades entre jovens, independentemente do sexo, da idade e do curso de graduação; H2) Os jovens valorizam as práticas corporais off-line, em particular a importância dessas em relação à saúde, condição física e beleza do corpo; H3) O corpo representado on-line constitui um ícone identificador de um estilo de vida ativo, através de uma representação fragmentada como rascunho de um projeto identitário em construção. Assim, encontra-se uma relevância do corpo ativo na construção das identidades on-line em representação das práticas off-line, sendo que os jovens apropriam e recriam a cultura corporal tradicional no espaço virtual como elemento identificador do self. Para a amostra representativa de 21 jovens universitários que cursavam a disciplina de Prática Desportiva (PD) na Universidade de Brasília foi aplicado um questionário, realizada uma sessão de entrevista, como também a observação de seus perfis pessoais na rede de relacionamento Orkut. As informações recolhidas foram tratadas através do programa SPSS 17.0 para Windows e os gráficos criados por meio do programa Excel, o que nos permitiu testar a validade das hipóteses apresentadas para esse estudo. Após todo esse processo investigativo, pode-se concluir que de fato os jovens constroem uma identidade nas redes virtuais de relacionamentos e que o corpo é um elemento essencial em todo esse processo. Essas redes são também espaços de ampliação das sociabilidades. E os jovens se interessam pelas práticas off-lines, porém essas também estão presentes em sua representação on-line. ________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / In this dissertation, we propose that the cyberculture is an important space for representing (and identifying) the body in virtual social relationships, particularly between college students. In an attempt to settle this question we created three research hypotheses with dependent and independent variables for analysis. They were the following: H1) Virtual networks are spaces that encourage socializing among young people, irrespective of sex, age or major; H2) Young people value off-line body work, and in particular recognize its importance in regard to health, physical condition and bodily beauty; H3) The body as represented online constitutes an icon identifying an active lifestyle through a fragmented representation, the first draft of an identity construction project. Thus, the active body is relevant to the construction of online identities which represent offline practices. Young people appropriate and recreate traditional physical culture in the virtual space as an element identifying the self. The representative sample consisted of 21 university students taking the Sports Practice (SP) class at the University of Brasilia. They responded to a questionnaire in an interview session and their personal profiles on the Orkut social relationship network were studied. SPSS 17.0 for Windows was used to test the validity of the hypotheses presented in this study and Excel was use to created the graphics. It can be concluded that in fact young people construct an identity in virtual relationship networks and the body is an essential element in this process. These networks are also spaces for expanded socializing. And young people are interested in offline practices; however, these are also present in their online representations.
