Esta dissertação trata exatamente da possibilidade de investigar, com os efeitos das mudanças tecnológicas, econômicas e culturais pelas quais o mundo vem passando, a possibilidade dos meios de comunicação, em particular a comunicação radiofônica, de viabilizar o uso de sua potencialidade para difusão dos movimentos de cultura popular, em especial o cururu, repente do interior paulista. Buscou-se também entender a influência dessas mudanças no cururu, pois nota-se que este vem modificando suas características para resistir diante desse desenvolvimento nos meios de comunicação de massa. O estudo em questão aborda a importância da preservação da cultura local nas emissoras de rádio da cidade de Piracicaba, localizada no interior do estado de São Paulo. Em suas considerações finais, o estudo apresenta dados indicadores do quanto as rádios e os cururueiros da cidade respondem a essas questões, e sugere ações para que as emissoras exerçam seu papel junto aos grupos sociais organizadores, de contribuir com a difusão desta manifestação cultural. / This dissertation signs the possibility of investigating - with the effect of the technological, economic and cultural changes in the world and in mass communication, in particular on radio broadcasting - how to use radios potentiality for the diffusion of popular culture movements, in special the tradition of cururu, a kind of country music free style battle from São Paulos countryside. It also search to understand how these changes influenced cururu itself, as it has been modifying its characteristics to resist in face of the development of the mass medias. This study shows the importance of the preservation of the local culture by the radio stations of Piracicaba city, located in the interior of São Paulo State. In its final consideration, the study presents data indicating where the local radio stations and cururueiros (a person who performs the cururu) stands about this matter. It also points out ways mutual cooperation and how the radios stations can play a leading role in the spread of this popular culture.

This diploma thesis deals with the current state of libraries in hospitals for patients and their potential future development. At the beginning deals the work with patient's libraries in historical context. The following part introduces to communication processes in hospitals and bibliotherapy. An integral part of the work are evaluated data collected during the survey among hospital patients. End of the paper offers some solutions and directions in which the library for patients in hospitals could go in the future.

The object of this research are the public reports written by the mayor Gracialiano Ramos, in the years 1929 and 1930, and sent to the governor of Alagoas State. These documents have achieved great impact at the time, due to the ironic and daring tone present in the texts, indicating a violation of the genre of report writing. For the analysis, it were defined the figures of rhetoric according to Quintiliano de Calahorra, and their incidence in these texts, paying attention to the transgressions committed by the manager-writer. To achieve our goals, the methodology used was the analysis of standardized text and textualization, proposed by Bhatia, with the analysis of expression, as proposed by Laurence Bardin. / Esta tese se propõe a investigar o gênero relatório, a fim de conhecer seus traços constitutivos, seu contexto situacional e a função sócio comunicativa que exerce em sua comunidade discursiva. Forma o objeto desta pesquisa os relatórios públicos escritos pelo prefeito Graciliano Ramos, nos anos de 1929 e 1930, e enviados ao governador do estado de Alagoas. Estes documentos alcançaram grande repercussão na época, devido ao tom irônico e ousado presente em seus textos que indicam uma transgressão da escritura do gênero relatório. Foram definidas para a unidade de análise as figuras de linguagem, na perspectiva de Quintiliano de Calahorra e sua incidência nestes textos prestando atenção nas transgressões praticadas pelo escritor gestor. Para alcançar os objetivos, a metodologia adotada foi o da análise da padronização de texto e textualização proposto por Bhatia, que compartilha com o da análise da expressão, de Lawrence Bardin.

Its aims are: to understand theoretically and empirically how those processes develop inside the radio stations and explore their particularities; to understand the structures, radio formats, teams, income sources and the development of their digital involvement; to understand the processes of stimuli, broadcasting, and interaction, in terms of citizenship; to understand what s behind the new ways of communicating, both territorial and on the Internet; to understand how the internet user participates; and to make a list of those community radio stations, including the self-labeled backlands radio stations, reviewing the particularities in their programming formats, as well as the differences between each other regarding both territorial and non-territorial (Internet) broadcasting. The methodology applied consists of a bibliographic and documental research, of a previously made listing of those broadcasting stations, as well as field research consisting of in loco visits and semi-structured interviews, in order to obtain a better understanding of the broadcasting stations in the eight northeastern backlands states (Alagoas, Bahia, Ceará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte and Sergipe). The broadcasting stations presence on the internet was also monitored both on their websites and on social networks. Based on theoretical parameters, we can classify the community radio stations in three types, regarding their Internet presence: off-line (those which have some Internet presence but do not broadcast online), institutionally online (those which simultaneously broadcast online the same content provided over the radio) and the dynamic online (those which broadcast a distinct content online and promote interactivity). By broadcasting online, the backlands community radio stations improve their capability of promoting listener participation, interaction and interactivity because a new type of community radio communication feedback is born, promoted by the resulting deterritorialization, which is the biggest challenge for these radio stations which operate in the poorest region of the country, where the most popular radio stations still serve the interests of influential people. / A tese aborda os processos comunicacionais nas rádios comunitárias do Sertão do Nordeste do Brasil que estão na Internet. Objetiva-se entender teórica e empiricamente como ocorrem esses processos nestas emissoras e explorar suas especificidades; compreender as estruturas, programações, equipes, financiamentos e históricos de inserção digital; entender os processos de estímulo, emissão e interação, em termos de cidadania; compreender como se dão as novas vozes, territoriais e na Internet; entender como se dá a participação do usuário (internauta); e listar as rádios comunitárias ou que se assumem comunitárias sertanejas, entendendo suas peculiaridades de programação, diferencial em termos de emissão territorial e não territorial (via Internet). A metodologia empregada consiste em pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, em mapeamento prévio das emissoras, bem como de pesquisa de campo por meio visitas in loco e de entrevistas semiestruturadas para entender-se as emissoras nos oito Estados sertanejos nordestinos (Alagoas, Bahia, Ceará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte e Sergipe). Acompanhou-se também o trabalho das emissoras na Internet, tanto em seus sites quanto a presença em redes sociais. Constata-se, com base em parâmetros teóricos, a existência de três tipos de emissoras de rádio comunitária na Internet: as off-line (que apenas têm espaço na Internet, mas não há transmissão simultânea), as online institucionais (que apenas transmitem simultaneamente a programação no dial) e as online dinâmicas (que têm conteúdo diferencial da emissora no dial e promovem interação e interatividade). O fato de estar na Internet faz com que as emissoras de rádio comunitária sertanejas aumentem sua capacidade de promover a participação, a interação e a interatividade, pois ocorre a retroalimentação da comunicação comunitária radiofônica com um novo tipo movido pela desterritorialização, que é o maior desafio dessas emissoras em lugares de baixo poder aquisitivo e comunicacional onde a presença do coronelismo eletrônico ainda persiste.

Aiming to: seek and draw those stations panoramas, identify the radios with most community relations and interactions, and also analyze its social roles and differences. Objective is still their its communication processes. Besides mapping, providing its working views, knowing how the community participates, understanding the views on doing broadcasting and comprehend the meaning of the stations that are considered emblematic on the community doing. Methodologically, the quantitative method has been applied, being developed based no bibliographical research, documental studies and field research, using the following techniques: bibliographical production and, virtual and hemerographic documents studies, and semi-structured personal interviews with members of the stations. Procura traçar o panorama dessas emissoras, identificar as rádios que têm mais vínculos e atuação comunitária e também analisar seus papéis sociais e diferenças. Objetiva-se ainda seus processos comunicativos, além de mapear e fornecer visão do funcionamento de cada emissora, entender como ocorre a participação das comunidades, a visão do fazer radialismo e o significado das emissoras consideradas emblemáticas no fazer comunitário. Metodologicamente adota-se o método qualitativo, o qual foi desenvolvido com base em pesquisa bibliográfica, estudo documental e pesquisa de campo, cujas técnicas usadas foram: estudos de produção bibliográfica e de documentos virtuais e hemerográficos e realização de entrevistas semi-estruturadas presenciais com membros das emissoras. That fact brings to light the new reception possibilities and the convergence of media. In this context, the objective of this study was to analyze the SBTVD-t s (Brazilian System of Digital Terrestrial Television) process of installation by using some online editions from the FNDC s (National Forum for Democratization of Communication) clipping. The analysis of that material concerned the investigation of tendentious characters in the FNDC s published material, which was geared to the technical aspects of the new technology rather than its social potential. Thus, a quantitative research technique basis was chosen to provide the information found in this thesis, leading to the finding that FNDC appears inefficiently when it comes to its critical posture facing the great media. It also showed that some of FNDC s goals weren t met since that forum only reproduces discourses and ideas from other communication vehicles. Similarly, it was found that the Brazilian Government didn t meet its SBTVD decrees either.(AU) / Implantada no Brasil na década de 50, a TV a mídia de maior abrangência e poder ideológico entre seus públicos encara sua segunda grande transformação: ela deixa de ser analógica e passa a ser digital. Com isso, traz à tona novas possibilidades de recepção e a possível convergência de meios. Nesse contexto, o objetivo deste estudo foi analisar o processo de instalação do Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão Digital Terrestre (SBTVD-t) a partir do clipping on-line do Fórum Nacional pela Democratização da Comunicação (FNDC). A análise desse material teve como foco averiguar se o FNDC foi tendencioso ou não na veiculação de matérias voltadas aos aspectos técnicos da nova tecnologia, em detrimento de seu potencial social. Para tanto, optou-se por uma pesquisa de base quantitativa em que as informações e os dados coletados levaram à constatação de que o FNDC se mostra pouco eficaz como aparato crítico-apreciativo da grande mídia, além de não cumprir alguns de seus objetivos ao reproduzir discursos e ideologias de outros veículos. Da mesma forma, verificou-se ainda que o Governo Federal também fugiu aos objetivos listados nos decretos presidenciais que instituem e dispõem sobre a implantação do SBTVD.(AU)

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Nesta dissertação temos como foco de investigação os processos comunicacionais que articulam as ações e lutas de movimentos sociais populares, atuantes no município de São Gonçalo, cidade de periferia urbana, localizada no leste metropolitano do Rio de Janeiro. Através dos meios de comunicação e mídias, produzidos e ou apropriados por alguns movimentos listados, especialmente em se tratando de associações de moradores e amigos de bairro, buscamos pistas sobre como o direito à educação vem sendo implementado no município. Para tanto, temos como fonte documental a Lei N056/2006 que implantou o Plano Municipal de Educação de São Gonçalo (PMESG), estabelecido para o decênio 20062016, os Planos Nacionais de Educação (2000 e 2011), entre outros documentos legislativos que direcionam a garantia desse direito. Do ponto de vista metodológico, fazemos um levantamento das associações de moradores e amigos de bairro do município, e dos meios de comunicação e mídias utilizados por esses movimentos em suas lutas relativas ao direito à educação de qualidade social, tais como: ofícios, cartazes, jornais comunitários, blogs, sites, etc. Compreendemos que abordar tais meios produzidos pelos movimentos sociais populares de São Gonçalo, tendoos, como mecanismo contrahegemônico de luta política, significa também, recuperar a vigência do popular nos estudos históricos, resituando o lugar do popular como parte da memória na constituição do processo histórico pelos movimentos sociais nas lutas pelo direito à educação.
