Ding-Diskurs - die Darstellung der Dingwelt bei Wilhelm Genazino, beispielhaft an <i>Ein Regenschirm f??r diesen Tag</i> und <i>Eine Frau, eine Wohnung, ein Roman</i>Fischer, Melanie January 2004 (has links)
The following thesis examines the topos of "things" in literature. Herein we discuss concrete objects and how they are used and presented in contemporary prose. The primary works analyzed are both by Wilhelm Genazino, namely <i>Ein Regenschirm f??r diesen Tag</i> and <i>Eine Frau, eine Wohnung, ein Roman</i>, published in 2001 and 2003 respectively. The analysis of different "things" in the two novels by Genanzino affords one the opportunity of pursuing three different objectives. First, the topos is by its very nature an interdisciplinary one, and therefore the theoretical concepts from different disciplines are applied to the scholarly examination of "things" in literature. This theoretical framework is based on different aspects of the work of the philosopher Martin Heidegger, the media theorist Marshall McLuhan, the sociologist Norbert Elias, and the philosophical economist Karl Marx. Some specific characteristics of the presentation of "things" in literature such as "Tücke des Objektes" ("flaw of the object") and the fetishization of objects are also discussed. As a result, a new constellation of ideas is developed that has practical applications for the analysis of literature. The second goal of this thesis is to interpret the works of Wilhelm Genazino, a highly regarded author who has been largely ignored by literary scholars, by applying this new conglomeration of ideas. This interpretation concentrates on single concrete "things" that appear in the novels to establish their connotations for the narratives. "Things" become cultural or personal symbols, and the interpretation of them reveals another dimension to Genazino's prose. Last but not least it is shown that even small "things" (can) have a major impact in every form of media. This might well influence traditional interpretations of well known works in the literary canon. Four examples from world literature introduce the topic in order to give an overview of the different representations of the topos "thing". It becomes apparent that the symbolic meaning of things may change during epochs. Nevertheless these four examples introduce topoi, such as "transitorisches Objekt" ("transitional object"), which can also be found in the primary works of this thesis. The examples are taken from different epochs as well as from different cultural backgrounds to emphasize the intercultural premise of the theme. After introducing Genazino??s approach to the thing-discourse and defining his major ideas, a close reading that makes use of the analytical framework is employed to discuss and interpret the primary texts. It becomes apparent that "things", rather than plot or character, provide the major impetus to the narratives. The interdisciplinary approach of this thesis underscores the important contributions that an analysis of "thing discourse" can make to the study of literary texts and their importance to human existence. As the topic of discussion has been of intereset to scholars in several different scientific areas, it becomes clear that the interdisciplinary approach of analyzing texts may spread ideas concerning not only the works in question, but all disciplines involved as well.

Study on Bronze Inscription in Western Zhou for the Shan LineagesChen, Yuan-ling 21 August 2012 (has links)
In the year 2003, twenty seven pieces of Shan¡¦s bronzes pit with inscriptions were excavated in Yangjiachun village of Mexian County, Shannxi. Except for the work in mid Western Zhou The Tien Yu, all of them were cast in late Western Zhou. The most noteworthy items among these bronzes are The Lai Ding Tripod of the 42th Year, the 43th Year and The Lai Pan. The former two were cast for King¡¦s awards for Lai¡¦s military contributions, plus the honorary title Li-Ren that conferred to Lai in the following year. By contrast, the later was to record Lai¡¦s family history about his ancestors¡¦ loyalty to Kings of Western Zhou, which also explained his succession to fathers¡¦ position in the government.
Since the Lai¡¦s bronzes pit got excavated, many studies have addressed to them such as exegetics of inscriptions, history of Western Zhou, or sociopolitical system in that era. However, there are still some issues remained controversial including decipherment of particular texts, the history, and nature of specific government positions.
Therefore, we investigated issues over these bronzes with reference to previous findings, and the theses are presented here: Our introduction can be found in Chapter 1, and in Chapter 2 we selected some meaning-unsolved individual inscriptions on The Lai Ding Tripod of the 42th Year, the 43th Year as well as the Lai Pan for interpretation. Chapter 3 is an in-depth association for Shan¡¦s family, in which we connected the inscriptions of Lai¡¦s name and his ancestors in the Lai Pan with other possible associated bronzes for inductive reasoning. In Chapter 4, we discussed some questions related to the three bronzes mentioned above which included figures, geographical names, and nobility succession system of the Western Zhou. All our findings were summarized in Chapter 5, the conclusion. We hope that this article can provide some suggestions to the lost parts of history documents.

Previous issue date: 2015-05-15 / It refers to a theoretical research, based on freudian lacanian orientation, that intends to investigate which are the propositions and concepts used at the VII seminary to establish the ethics of psychoanalysis. First of all, we prepared a presentation about the ethics doubts made by Sigmund Freud, in a brief way of his work, based on the text which the author dedicates to discuss questions related to order, ethics and moral in psychoanalysis. As a part of Lacan s theory, we chose to make a deeply reading of his seminary, Book VII, The ethics of Psychoanalysis, showed in 1959 and 1960, in which he argued and discussed around the theme of ethics in psychoanalysis representing a fundamental tool that emphaticizes what Freud´s work and the analytic experience brought as new. For Lacan, the singularity of each individual is the most important item to think about; psychoanalytic ethics is exactly a singular ethics, because of neurotic´s myth being a construction based on a fictional order, tangled in its fundamental fantasy. As the main objective of this search, we want to answer the following questions: What does it mean to say that ethics in psychoanalysis are the unconscious desire s ethics? This question, because of its complexity size, imply in many theoretical unrolling. The specific main of this search refers to get deeper, in this way to visit Lacan s work in the VII seminary epoch, on how the analytic practice deals with the singular desire questions of the individual unconscious, relating to the following aspects: a) theoretical contexts & inquest of the clinical practice; b) the relationship between das Ding with the causation of desire; c) the confront between Kant and Sade and the access of the Thing d) the tragicomical dimention of the psychoanalytic experience / Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza teórica, de orientação freudo-lacaniana, que pretende investigar quais são as proposições e os conceitos lacanianos empregados no momento do Seminário VII para fundamentar a ética da psicanálise.

Previous issue date: 2012-09-17 / The aim of this dissertation is to study the constutive theory of space as developed in Edmund s Husserl work Ding und Raum, which include his most complete description of spatial experience. The theory is drawn from the analysis of material thinghood con-stitution, accounted as the most basic level of objectivity. In it, Husserl presents the the-sis that spatiality is co-given in the perception of bodies, specifically for its ability to move, whose multiplicity of possible positions coalesce into a field of possibilities ex-perienced as three-dimensional space. The present study aims to explore this theory as a stage in the context of transcendental phenomenology development that maintains con-nections with the earliest Husserl s incursions in problems concerning geometry and mathematical theory of multiplicities, and also explore some consequences and internal problems of the theory.

THE BODY IN HUSSERL S WORK IDEIAS II: OBLIVION, SENSATIONS, ZERO-POINT.Sousa, Leandro Righi de 26 August 2016 (has links)
Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The present study aims to present the general way in which Husserl understand the meaning of body as body-live from the bias of the sensations as well as the general sense of the body as zero-point (Nullpunkt), positioning this study from paragraphs §36-37 and §41 of the work Ideas II. In the first chapter we present the historical and philosophical reasons for the theme investigation, the etymological and philosophical origins of the term Leib and general aspects of the "body" in Ideas II work. In a second time, we drove a study on the constitution of the body as the body alive from the bias of sensations. In the third chapter of this work, we study the meaning of zero-point (Nullpunkt) body and the way the body from its zero (Null) position is originally the show look of things (Ding).

[en] FROM A LIMITED UNIVERSE TO THE INFINITE SPACES: THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LAW AND JOUISSANCE IN PSYCHOANALYSIS / [pt] DE UM UNIVERSO LIMITADO AOS ESPAÇOS INFINITOS: AS RELAÇÕES ENTRE LEI E GOZO NA PSICANÁLISEPAULA ISSBERNER LEGEY 24 September 2014 (has links)
[en] From a limited universe to the infinite spaces studies the relationship between law and jouissance from a Lacanian perspective. Lacan indicates that the desire is the other side of the law, while, the jouissance is a field that is not limited by the law. Lacan underlines the importance of the Name-of-the-father as a signifier that validates the law. It functions as a mediation, intervening in the imaginary dual relationship represented by the mother and the child. Through this Lacan associated law and desire, indicating that the desire does not exist prior to the law, but is created by it. The term jouissance allows Lacan to indicate a form of satisfaction that does not obey the logic of the desire, which means that it is not structured by the limitation drawn by the law. This dissertation studies the relationship between the desire and the several ways within which the jouissance appears in the Lacanian theory. The feminine jouissance is defined by Lacan as a jouissance that is Other in relation to the organization of the law and the desire. It is a infinite field, which means that it is not limited. This work also studies how the jouissance can be organized when not by the limitation of the law.
