A investigação teve como objetivo apresentar uma metodologia de organização, representação, preservação e disseminação da informação técnico-científica em plataformas de acesso aberto: DSpace e Archivematica, tendo como base os princípios da Arquivística, Organização e Representação do Conhecimento e Arquitetura da Informação para subsidiar a concepção, modelagem e implementação de um protótipo de repositório digital aplicado no domínio da Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência - SBPC. Para alcançar os objetivos propostos, utilizou-se da abordagem hipotético-dedutivo e da pesquisa ação para compor o desenvolvimento do quadro teórico e empírico da pesquisa. O percurso metodológico foi realizado a partir de uma extensa revisão bibliográfica sobres as temáticas envolvidas. Num primeiro momento, buscou-se a identificação e seleção de aportes conceituais e metodológicos que pudessem orientar a criação do repositório. Em seguida, foi aplicado a metodologia da identificação de tipologia documental para o reconhecimento do domínio de aplicação, visando levantar e identificar as funções, atividades, espécies e tipologias documentais para nortear a sistematização do arcabouço conceitual e metodológico (criação de plano de classificação, definição da camada de metadados, e sistemas de organização, navegação, rotulação e busca. E por fim, a customização dos componentes técnicofuncionais da plataforma DSpace e a sua integração com o software Archivematica. Como resultado final, apresenta-se a definição de um conjunto de requisitos mínimos relativos às estruturas e elementos que compõem a arquitetura da informação, camada de metadados para organização, representação e recuperação da informação, sistemas de organização do conhecimento e aspectos fundamentais para subsidiar a gestão da preservação digital a longo prazo. Kauno kolegijoje yra patvirtinta ir vykdoma nauja e. mokymosi plėtros programa 2009-2013m. Pagal ją Kauno kolegija orientuojasi į atvirą e. mokymąsi, todėl atviras elektroninių išteklių kūrimas, panaudojimas bei talpinimas yra vienas iš pagrindinių šios programos tikslų. Taigi šiame darbe pateikiama: informacija apie atvirus elektroninius išteklius, jų nauda tiek studentui, tiek dėstytojui, tiek institucijai, atvirų elektroninių išteklių kūrimo ir panaudojimo proceso Kauno kolegijoje analizė, atvirų elektroninių išteklių talpinimo programinių įrankių integravimo projektas, sumodeliuotas UML kalba, vartotojo instrukcija. Parengus šį darbą paaiškėjo, kad minėtų programinių įrankių integravimas yra reikalingas ir kad tai tikrai skatintų vartotojus kurti, talpinti bei naudoti atvirus elektroninius išteklius, taip pat buvo surengti mokymai maždaug šimtui vartotojų, ir buvo parengta dalis dokumentų, reglamentuojančių atvirų elektroninių išteklių talpinimo veiklas bei institucinė licencinė sutartis, skirta autorių teisėms apsaugoti. / Kauno kolegija (Kaunas University of Applied Sciences) has adopted and implemented e-Learning Development Program for 2009-2013. One of the key components of the program is orientation to the open e-Learning, so the main tasks are the promotion of the development and use of open educational resources and storage of such resources. Thus, the aim of this work is to promote the development and use of open educational resources by preparing the integration project of Open Journal system, Open Conference System and DSpace systems, by organizing the training courses for users, also by preparing the documents regulating the activities of the hosting of open educational resources. In this document are presented: the information about open educational resources, their advantage for all – student, lecturer and institution, the analysis of the situation of the development and use of open educational resources in Kauno kolegija (Kaunas University of Applied Science), the project of integration of Open Journal System, Open Conference System and DSpace systems, modeled using UML language, and also a short user manual. After the completion of this work revealed that such integration project of the above-mentioned systems was necessary and it would really promote users to develop, load and use open educational resources, also there were organized training courses for about one hundred users, alike there were prepared a part of the documents regulating the activities of hosting open... Υποστήριξη εκπαιδευτικών μεταδεδομένων και διαλειτουργικότητα σε ψηφιακά αποθέματα

Η ραγδαία ανάπτυξη του Παγκόσμιου Ιστού τα τελευταία χρόνια έχει προκαλέσει την αύξηση του εκπαιδευτικού υλικού που είναι διαθέσιμο σε ηλεκτρονική μορφή, με αποτέλεσμα η αναζήτηση και η εύρεση των ψηφιακών εκπαιδευτικών υλικών να γίνεται όλο και πιο δύσκολη. Για αυτό το λόγο τα ψηφιακά εκπαιδευτικά αντικείμενα, ή αλλιώς Μαθησιακά Αντικείμενα (Learning Objects) πρέπει να περιγράφονται με τη χρήση εκπαιδευτικών μεταδεδομένων έτσι ώστε να διευκολύνονται οι λειτουργίες της εύρεσης, ανάκτησης, κατηγοριοποίησης και επαναχρησιμοποίησης των αντικειμένων. Τα τελευταία χρόνια έχουν δημιουργηθεί αρκετά αποθέματα για την αποθήκευση ψηφιακών εκπαιδευτικών αντικειμένων, όπως είναι το DSpace, το EPrints και το Fedora. Τα ψηφιακά αποθέματα κάνουν χρήση μεταδεδομένων για τα ψηφιακά αντικείμενα που αποθηκεύονται στο σύστημά τους. Συχνά όμως παρατηρείται ότι ενώ η κύρια χρήση των αποθεμάτων είναι για εκπαιδευτικούς σκοπούς, δεν δίνεται η δυνατότητα να εμπλουτίζονται τα εκπαιδευτικά αντικείμενα που αποθηκεύονται στα αποθέματα με μεταδεδομένα εκπαιδευτικού τύπου. Κατά συνέπεια, ο κύριος στόχος της διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι να μελετήσει τα διαθέσιμα πρότυπα εκπαιδευτικών μεταδεδομένων και να επεκτείνει τα υπάρχοντα σύνολα μεταδεδομένων των ψηφιακών αποθεμάτων ώστε να συμπεριλαμβάνουν και μεταδεδομένα εκπαιδευτικού σκοπού. Για να επιβεβαιωθούν τα αποτελέσματα της συγκεκριμένης μελέτη έγινε εφαρμογή της σε ένα πραγματικό εκπαιδευτικό απόθεμα που αναπτύχθηκε στα πλαίσια του ΕΠΕΑΕΚ ΙΙ για το Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών. Βασικό χαρακτηριστικό των εκπαιδευτικών αποθεμάτων είναι και η διαλειτουργικότητα με άλλα συστήματα. Η διαλειτουργικότητα εξασφαλίζει τη συνεργασία του συστήματος με άλλα αποθέματα επιτρέποντας τη συγκομιδή και αξιοποίηση των ψηφιακών αντικειμένων και από άλλα αποθέματα. Για το λόγο αυτό μελετάται το πώς μπορεί να επιτευχθεί η διαλειτουργικότητα ενός συστήματος ώστε να αξιοποιούνται και τα εκπαιδευτικά μεταδεδομένα του αποθέματος, μέσω της υπηρεσίας ΟΑΙ-PMH, που υποστηρίζεται από τα περισσότερα αποθέματα, αλλά και μέσω της καινούριας υπηρεσίας OAI-ORE. Η υλοποίηση της διαλειτουργικότητας στα πλαίσια της συγκεκριμένης εργασίας επικεντρώνεται στο σύστημα DSpace. Ο Σημαντικός Ιστός (Semantic Web) αποτελεί την εξέλιξη του Παγκόσμιου Ιστού. Στον Σημαντικό Ιστό οι πληροφορίες περιγράφονται από δεδομένα αποκτώντας συγκεκριμένη σημασία και δίνοντας έτσι τη δυνατότητα στις μηχανές να επεξεργαστούν δεδομένα που μέχρι σήμερα ήταν κατανοητά μόνο από τους ανθρώπους. Έτσι, γίνεται μελέτη ώστε να επιτευχθεί η δυνατότητα σημασιακής διαλειτουργικότητας στα αποθέματα και συγκεκριμένα στο DSpace. Με τον τρόπο αυτό γίνεται δυνατή η συνδιαλλαγή και διαπραγμάτευση πληροφοριών μεταξύ συστημάτων, οι οποίες, ενώ μπορεί να είναι κατά βάση ετερογενείς, προερχόμενες από πολλαπλές πηγές και αδόμητες σημασιακά, μπορούν να συσχετίζονται και, βάσει συμπερασμών, να συνδυάζονται κατάλληλα με στόχο την ανακάλυψη νέας γνώσης. / The rapid growth of World Wide Web in the last years has led to an increase of the educational material that is available in digital way. As a result of this, searching and discovering of digital educational material is becoming more and more difficult. For this reason, digital education objects, or Learning Objects, have to be described using education metadata in order to facilitate searching, retrieval, classification and reuse of these objects. In the recent years, a lot of repositories have been built to store digital educational objects, like DSpace, EPrints and Fedora. Digital repositories make use of metadata to describe digital objects that are stored in their system. But we can note that although the main use of these repository systems is for educational purposes, we do not have the ability to enrich learning objects that are stored in these systems with educational metadata. Therefore, the main purpose of this thesis is to study the available educational metadata standards and to extend the available metadata sets of digital repositories in order to include and support metadata for education purposes. A main feature of most educational repositories is interoperability with other systems. Interoperability assures the cooperation of one repository with others by allowing the harvesting and using of digital objects stored in one place by other systems and services. For this reason, it is studied how educational metadata can be incorporated in a repository’s interoperability services, and mainly in the OAI-PMH service, which is supported by most repositories, but also in a new service named OAI-ORE. The implementation of these interoperability services is focused on the DSpace system. Finally, Semantic Web is the evolution of World Wide Web. In Semantic Web information is described by data, so this information gains meaning which gives the ability to machines to process this information which till now was meaningful only to humans. So, it is also studied how semantic interoperability can be achieved between repositories and specifically between repositories based on DSpace. This will give the ability to exchange information between systems. Although this information may come from different and heterogeneous sources, and although this information may be semantically unstructured, it can be associated and combined in order to discover new knowledge.

Este trabalho visa analisar a conexão de um sistema fotovoltaico (PV) e seus efeitos na rede elétrica utilizando simulação em tempo real. O sistema de simulação implementado consiste de sistemas fotovoltaicos, conversores de energia, carga variável e rede elétrica, implementados em um Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS), enquanto que o controle é executado a partir da plataforma dSPACE, caracterizando uma sistema de simulação do tipo Hardware In the Loop (HIL). Os modelos de carga foram desenvolvidos com base em perfis de demanda reais, a partir de três alimentadores de distribuição diferentes da cidade de Leopoldina, no estado de Minas Gerais. Os dados de medição dos alimentadores foram tomados com um intervalo de 15 minutos, totalizando um tempo de medição de 24 horas. Dados de radiação solar usadas nos modelos PV foi medido no Labsolar - Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, também por um período de 24 horas. O propósito deste estudo é executar uma simulação HIL, combinando RTDS e dSPACE, que é um controlador digital. Com o tempo real é possível investigar o comportamento do sistema com a potência injetada pelo sistema PV, incluindo o controle do inversor utilizado para acoplar os diferentes sistemas fotovoltaicos à rede, em uma modelagem que se aproxima da realidade, com menores custos de implementação e maior segurança. Os resultados mostram uma comparação entre a potência ativa e reativa injetada pelos sistemas fotovoltaicos e a rede, e a energia consumida pelas cargas, validando a estratégia de controle implementada. / An important issue for the integration of Distributed Generation (DG) is the reliability and quality of energy supplied to consumers. This work aims at analyzing the grid connection of a photovoltaic (PV) system and its effects on the electrical network using realtime simulation. The implemented simulation system consists of photovoltaic systems, power converters, variable load and electrical grid, implemented in Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) while the control is run from the dSPACE controller, creating a Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform. The load models were developed based on actual demand profile from three different distribution feeders of the city of Leopoldina, in the state of Minas Gerais. The feeders’ measurement data was taken with an interval of 15 minutes, with a total measurement time of 24 hours. Solar radiation data used in the PV models has been measured at the Solar Laboratory – Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, also for a 24-hour period. The purpose of this study is to perform a HIL simulation, combining RTDS and dSPACE, which is a digital controller. With real-time/ HIL simulation, it is possible to investigate the behavior of the system with the power injected by the PV system, including inverter control used to attach the different photovoltaic systems to the grid, in a model which approaches reality, with low implementation cost and higher safety. Results show a comparison between the active and reactive power injected by the photovoltaic system and network, and the power consumed by the loads, verifying the implemented control strategy.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to study how libraries handle metadata in institutional repositories. The methodology of the study is semi-structured interviews with librarians from all Swedish libraries that currently use the institutional repository system DSpace. Metadata schemes from the different libraries have also been studied. As analytical tools the study uses the user tasks presented in Functional Requirement for Bibliographic Records, as well as a study of metadata quality made by Jung-Ran Park. The study shows a rather big difference between the ways the libraries use institutional repositories. Some of the libraries use their repository as a full text database, while others use it for all publications within the organization with bibliometric functions. The study also shows that there is a difference in the use of metadata. Some of the libraries use the metadata elements created by Dublin Core Metadata Initiative, while others create their own elements. / Program: Bibliotekarie

The distance was kept, the driving was pleasant, and it also seems like it is possible to save fuel. When accepting some deviations in distance to the preceding car, a fuel reduction of 8 % compared to the car in front can be achieved.</p>
