Les femmes entre assistanat et entrepreneuriat dans les projets de territoire et de valorisation touristique des espaces de marge du Sud du Maroc, une approche par les capabilités / The assistanantship and entrepreneuriatship in the touristique valorisation projects of the margin territory-Approche par les capabilités-

Benkhallouk, Mariam 22 February 2019 (has links)
In recent years, Morocco has paid particular attention to the development of its marginal territories through the implementation of a set of national and international programs. This has resulted in the mobilization of multiple different actors and resources around projects centered in some of Morocco’s most difficult regions. Many of the projects embody the principles of equality and solidarity, and have thus approached the problem by aiming to improve the socio-economic status of Morocco’s rural women. A large number of the projects that implement this approach do so by providing ‘assisted-aid’ to newly-developed social organisations, such as women’s associations and cooperatives. The policies of these public and private development bodies is to ‘help’, or even ‘rescue’ the rural women, by defining for them a course of personal development through income-generating activities (IGAs). This strategy aims to develop these difficult regions in concert with the development of ‘local products’. These policies lead us to question the real capacities of these programs to promote equality for women. Our approach is based on the concept of ‘capability’, as defined by Amartya Sen in 1985.Our study argues that bettering assisted-aid, is a policy that promotes female entrepreneurship. We have concluded this through investigating how female cooperatives have been able to exploit natural resources, such as argan nuts, in several marginal regions in southern Morocco.

Modular front lamp to a combat vehicle : With focus on modern design and manufacturability

Lundberg, Ludvig January 2018 (has links)
The purpose of the project is to, with the help of relevant course literature, knowledge obtained from previous courses and with the help of supervisor and colleagues, produce a concept suggestion of how the front lamp to a combat vehicle could be designed. The purpose is also, with the help of meticulous documentation and structured work, to do a project that it will possible to continue working on and eventually construct a prototype from. The methods that were used during this project were for example WBS, scrum board, Gantt-schedule and elimination matrix. The project started with a planning phase where the project plan and time schedules were set up. Then was the pilot study which is used to gather the knowledge needed to carry out the project. The information gathered in the pilot study were then summarized in a criterion matrix in the product specification. These criterions were then used in the concept selection phase as guidelines when generation ideas and develop concepts. After the concept selection three concept were chosen and presented for the employer and, in conjunction with the employer, it was decided to combine these concepts into one. 3D-models were then done with the help of CAD (Computer Aided Design) to illustrate this combined concept and associated material selection and manufacturing methods were done. The conclusion of this project was that the amount of innovative ideas and solutions were limited since the product is regulated by military standards and criterions from customers. Therefore, the outcome of the project is similar to previous versions, which is unfortunate, since the goal with the project were to come up with new and innovative concepts of how to design the front lamp. But even though this concepts design looks like the old design, it has few completely new things to it that haven’t existed in previous versions. It was also realized how much time you save during the project if you do a detailed planning at the start of the project and how valuable it is to be structured in the work process. Further work that is needed to be done on the project before the production of a prototype are calculations of the cost to manufacture and produce the product, strength calculations of the stress concentrations etc., and drawings of the product. The components of the front lamp, i.e. horn, lamps, sensors etc., also need to be selected in accordance with the criterion matrix.

Strömberg, Marianne January 2010 (has links)
The present study is the result of research collaboration where participating teachers and a researcher have jointly analyzed and reflected over experiences from professional training and professional work in order to develop an understanding of skills and knowledge that are relevant to the professional development and professional lives of teachers. The focus is on four female primary school teachers’ stories. Certain things run through these stories. They are (i) a quest for professional development, (ii) a strong commitment to teaching and (iii) an ongoing identity-building process. The overall purpose of the thesis is to identify and describe these processes and thus contribute meaningful knowledge to the debate on teacher professional development within the Swedish educational landscape. Two questions have been particularly important. These are: – What individual and structural conditions and processes appear to be important for professional development and career choice? – Which key events and turning points can be identified in teachers’ lives and work, focusing on the early years of the occupation and how can these be understood? The professional life stories have a chronological structure and they have been organized around three time periods. One of these is The Road to the profession, including teachers’ stories about their background, school experiences, past professional life and what has influenced them to take the step to become a teacher, and experience from their education. The second is the first years in the profession. This is the period covering the first three years of working life after teacher education. It depicted a diversity of experience and the experience of strenuous and stressful work situations in which new teachers, with high aspirations, confronted at times unanticipated work assignments and challenging conditions for which they did not always feel fully prepared. However, as well as these tensions of development there also appears to be a period of intense and stimulating knowledge development in which the teachers experienced opportunities to put their ideas about education, development, cooperation and educational projects to the test. Through this they say that they developed professionally in a way that strengthened their professional identity. The continuing work history period is the third period. It includes experience from the three year period following the first years in the profession. Here the teachers describe a process of establishment at each workplace, where the teachers’ continuing quest for educational development and change is in the fore, as is an aim toward further professional development and greater stability in the professional role.

Reading Aloud in Preschool : A study of how children’s language development is recognized in the interaction between teacher and child during reading aloud from a sociocultural perspective.

Buchholtz, Carolina January 2016 (has links)
The main purpose of this study is to examine the interaction between educators and children during reading aloud and how the educators recognize this. The study is qualitative and the empirical material was gathered through observation and interview methods. Interviews were done with three teachers, and they were observed on five occasions. The children’s age is 4-5 years. The results show that teachers have a good knowledge of reading alouds importance for young children's language development and reading aloud is seen as an educational activity, but may have different purposes depending on the situation. The result also shows that the teachers clearly recognize children's linguistic stimulation in reading aloud.

Rekrytera, utveckla &amp; behålla : Hur kan arbetet med kompetensförsörjning se ut i offentlig sektor? / Recruit, develop and maintain : – How can competence provision work look like into the public sector?

Persson, Paulina, Simon, Wirkensjö January 2019 (has links)

Understanding college student leadership development : a longitudinal examination of the impact of campus-based leadership trainings

Baccei, Mark Andrew 01 May 2015 (has links)
Colleges and universities continually seek to foster the leadership development of undergraduate students through curricular and co-curricular opportunities and experiences. This study examined the effects and potential contributions of participation in campus-based leadership trainings on college students' leadership development with special consideration for gender and racial background. To better understand the relationship between campus-based trainings and leadership development, data from the Wabash National Study of Liberal Arts Education (WNS) was utilized. The WNS was a multi-institutional, longitudinal dataset made up of 47 four-year colleges and universities from 21 states throughout the United States. This study mark's one of the first multi-year, multi-institution longitudinal studies to investigate the relationship between campus-based leadership trainings and leadership development. The results of the study pointed to several over-arching themes. The first theme was that a student's background and leadership experience prior to college matter. Next, a student's curricular success matters, and influences their leadership gains throughout all aspects of the SCM. The interactions students have with peers who are different from themselves matters. Leadership development opportunities need to be intentionally designed. Finally, campus-based leadership trainings offer a potential programmatic option for institutions to help develop their students as socially responsible leaders, regardless of backgrounds and other experiences.
