O objetivo desta pesquisa foi o de analisar o processo de mudanças e integração vivenciados por alunos ingressantes no Ensino Superior, que cursaram a disciplina on-line Metodologia do Estudo no primeiro semestre de 2016. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram calouros do curso Ciência da Computação (CCO) de uma instituição particular do Estado de São Paulo. O estudo buscou refletir sobre alguns aspectos de como os ingressantes lidam com as exigências do ensino superior, que são diferentes das da educação básica, bem como conhecer suas opiniões sobre este novo momento de suas vidas acadêmica e de formação. A pesquisa orientou-se pelos princípios da abordagem qualitativa, com métodos múltiplos de coleta de dados, que envolveram: análise das atividades propostas e das ações dos alunos na disciplina no ambiente virtual; análise das respostas aos questionários on-line propostos nas duas primeiras semanas (Ambientação on-line) da disciplina; realização de entrevistas com alguns alunos da turma e com a coordenadora do curso, bem como a seleção e análise de relatórios gerados pelo ambiente virtual e de documentos institucionais. A estratégia metodológica utilizada na investigação foi o Estudo de Caso. A importância dessa investigação é ressaltada pelos posicionamentos de teóricos que consideram o momento de transição do ensino médio para o ensino superior pleno de mudanças e situações novas que o jovem precisa superar. Além disso, considerou-se o desafio de aprender no contexto digital. Ao final, foi ressaltada a importância de oferecimento de disciplinas on-line que se preocupem com a integração dos alunos na cultura universitária e que os auxiliem na aquisição de hábitos de autodisciplina para estudar e se organizar. Verificou-se também a relevância do uso de estratégias didáticas on-line interativas que viabilizem as trocas comunicativas entre os estudantes e as descobertas de seus estilos e desejos de aprendizagem que orientem os seus caminhos de formação. / The objective of this research was to analyze the process of changes and integration experienced by students who started College and attended the online course called Study Methodology in the first semester of 2016. The subjects of the research were freshmen of the course Computer Science of a private institution located in the State of São Paulo. The study sought to reflect about some aspects such as how freshmen deal with the demands of College, which are different from those of High School, as well as to learn their opinions about this new moment of their academic lives and formation. The research was guided by the principles of the qualitative approach, with multiple methods of data collection, which involved: analysis of the proposed activities and the actions of the students in the virtual environment; analysis of the answers to the on-line questionnaires proposed in the first two weeks of the course (online setting); conducting interviews with some students of the class and with the coordinator of the course and the selection and analysis of reports generated by the virtual environment and of institutional documents. The methodological strategy used in the research was the Case Study. The importance of this research is highlighted by the positions of theorists who consider that the moment of transition from high school to college is full of changes and new challenges that young people need to overcome. In addition, the challenge of learning in the digital context was considered. At the end, the work highlighted the importance of offering online courses that are focused on the integration of students in the university culture and that help them to acquire habits of self-discipline to study and organize themselves. The work was also verified the importance of the use of interactive online didactic strategies that enable the communicative exchanges between the students and the discoveries of their styles and learning desires which will guide their formation paths.

Traça portanto um panorama das relações pertinentes a cada um dos tópicos, fundamentando questões conceituais de relevância para o entendimento da complexidade do assunto apresentado. Para tal elenca tópicos que caracterizam as dimensões essenciais de mudanças paradigmáticas, como a sociedade na era das redes, a educação digital na era das redes, a evolução dos suportes tecnológicos com implicações paradigmáticas no campo educacional e megatendências evolutivas do conhecimento em rede. Acrescenta ainda um estudo de caso consubstanciando a validade dos tópicos apresentados do ponto de vista conceitual e prático. A Internet foi fonte fundamental para tratar certas questões de ponta no campo da educação digital. / This dissertation presents the digital education within the contemporary times. The basis of this work comprises of two essential viewpoints: the pedagogical cybernetics and the age of networks. It also points out a panorama of the relations belonging to each topic, by establishing several relevant conceptual issues for the understanding of complexity about the topics. The study selects several topics in order to distinguish the essential dimensions in the paradigmatic changes, such as the society in the age of networks, the digital education in the age of networks, the evolution of technological instruments by considering paradigmatic implications in the educational field, and developing megatendencies of knowledge network. It still adds a case study for validating the presented topics under a conceptual and practical perspective. The discussion was based mostly in the reading of specialists literature, and in the selecting of several complementary documentation sources, which testifies the informational multidimensionality in a world of intense communication and information networks. Every source in its peculiar way provided resources for the conceptual tissue of the study. Internet was also a very fundamental source for treating some very advanced issues according to the digital education field.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the role of the digital technologies in the homework preparation of the pupils, how do they use the digital technologies and whether they use it for the learning at all. This thesis evaluates also if the pupils can use the digital technologies for learning and in which way they use them, what is their vision of learning, what pluses and minuses in the digital technology usage see the pupils from the sixth to ninth grade. How do the parents encourage their children to use these technologies for the homework. The theoretical section focuses on the role and possibilities of using digital technologies in education, especially in homework preparation. It defines a pupil's digital competence and the characteristics of the network generation. The practical section includes the conclusion of 3 questionnaire surveys. The first of which the author did among 127 pupils of the 2nd grade of an unnamed elementary school in the Ústí region. Its aim was to find out whether and how pupils use digital technologies in their home preparation for school and whether these technologies simplify the learning process for them. In the end I would like to discuss some future views and goals that Zlín region has in this area of education. This study is based on an abductive approach and a case study where the purpose is to investigate how students experience online education. The questions to answer in the study are based on the students' experiences of expected digital prior knowledge, their need for digital literacy, what advantages and disadvantages they saw with the digital environments and tools they used and what improvements could be identified. The empirical process was done through semi-structured interviews with thematic analysis as an analysis method, where it emerged that the students felt that there is an expectation from universities that the students should have a digital knowledge prior to attending the university and that they had to be able to work independently. There were shortcomings in the knowledge about the digital tools with the teachers and that meant inadequate support for the students. Despite this, the students were satisfied with their choices to study online, but they had many suggestions for improvement measures, which leaves room for future research linked to the issues. / Denna studie bygger på en abduktiv ansats och är en fallstudie där syftet är att undersöka hur studenter upplever distansutbildning. Frågeställningarna i studien bygger på studenternas upplevelser kring förväntade digital kompetens, vilka för-och nackdelar de såg med de digitala miljöer och verktyg som de använde sig av samt vilka förbättringsförslag som går att identifiera. Empiriinsamlingen skedde genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med tematisk analys som analysmetod, där det framgick att studenterna upplevde att det finns en förväntan från universitet där studenterna ska ha digitala förkunskaper och kunna arbeta självständigt. Det fanns brister i kunskapen kring de digitala verktygen hos lärarna och bristfälligt med stöd till studenterna. Trots detta var studenterna nöjda med sina val att studera på distans men de hade många förslag på förbättringsåtgärder vilket lämnar utrymme för framtida forskning kopplat till frågeställningarna.

Lärarna och Studi.se : En studie av lärares uppfattningar om användande av det digitala läromedlet Studi.se / The Teachers and Studi.seBodemyr, Sanna, Nilsson, Ulrika January 2014 (has links)
This study is a thesis project for the program Civilingenjör och Lärare at KTH. The study was conducted in spring 2014 in collaboration with Komplementskolan AB which has developed the educational material Studi.se, the focal point of this study. The overall aim of the study is to increase the knowledge of the participant teachers’ conception and use of the educational material Studi.se. The second purpose is to increase knowledge about the forms of use some of these teachers apply or claim to apply when using Studi.se. Theoretical framework used is constructivism and the notions of Piaget: adaptation, assimilation and accommodation. Roger’s Innovation-Decision process and Puentedura’s SAMR-model have been the analysis tools used. The method used is that of triangulation where action research has been supplemented by questionnaire, interviews and observations, as well as the analysis of logged data over schools' test periods. The results show that one of the main reasons for using Studi.se is that the educational material has a good basic level which to a great extent fit the needs of students with special needs. Additional reasons for using Studi.se are that the educational material is simple, time saving and suitable for reviewing and repetition. Reasons for not using Studi.se is an initial lack of time, the cost, lack of transparency at first glance and the perceived challenge given through the material. Studi.se is primarily used as a supplement to the regular curriculum where the material is mainly used individually in the form of repetition, variation and to cover things that the students have missed. / Denna studie utgör ett examensarbete på programmet Civilingenjör och Lärare, inom teknik och lärande på KTH. Studien har utförts under våren 2014 i samarbete med Komplementskolan AB som tagit fram läromedlet Studi.se kring vilket arbetet kretsat. Studiens övergripande syfte är att öka kunskapen om de skäl lärarna i studien ger uttryck för, för att använda eller inte använda läromedlet Studi.se. Det andra syftet är att öka kunskapen om de användningsformer några av lärarna tillämpar eller säger sig tillämpa vid användande av Studi.se. Studien utgår från ett konstruktivistiskt perspektiv med stöd i Piagets begrepp adaptation, assimilation och ackommodation. Rogers Innovation-Decision process och Puenteduras SAMR-modell utgör arbetets analysverktyg. Insamlingen av data har skett genom en metodtriangulering där aktionsforskning har kompletterats av enkätundersökning, intervjuer och observationer samt av analys av loggad data över skolors testperioder. Studiens resultat visar att ett av de främsta skälen för att använda Studi.se är att ämnesmaterialet håller en bra grundläggande nivå som i stor utsträckning passar elever med särskilda behov. Ytterligare skäl för användande är att läromedlet är enkelt, tidsbesparande och lämpar sig för repetition. Skäl till att inte använda Studi.se är en initial tidsbrist, kostnaden, brist på tydlighet i första mötet och upplevd avsaknad av utmaning i materialet. Studi.se används i huvudsak som ett komplement till den ordinarie undervisningen där materialet framförallt används individuellt i form av repetition, variation och för att täcka upp sådant som eleverna missat.

Digital undervisning blev under covid-19 pandemin en viktig metod för att kunna upprätthålla lärande för utbildningsinstitutioner. Genom att använda sig av digitala plattformar och verktyg som exempelvis Learning Management Systems (LMS) och Videokonferens verktyg (VKV) kan studenter lära sig utan att fysiskt vara närvarande. Den tidigare forskningen har tagit upp de sociala och fysiska problemen som kan uppstå vid ett oönskat miljöombyte. Vidare har det lyfts fram att individer har olika förutsättningar vid distansutbildning vilket kan påverka lärandet under hela utbildningen. Det lyfts även fram styrkor och svagheter med distansundervisning men inget som specifikt berör hur de digitala plattformarna har påverkat studenters motivation, koncentration och studieteknik under covid-19. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur studenter vid Linneuniversitetet upplever att de har påverkats av den ofrivilliga distansundervisningen covid-19 medför och de digitala lärplattformar och verktyg som används. En kvalitativ ansats med semistrukturerade intervjuer har varit studiens metod vid datainsamling. Studien har förhållit sig till fem informanter som studerat på olika program inom Linneuniversitetet. För att analysera data följdes Creswells sex steg för dataanalys vilket resulterade i två huvudområden som inkluderade fyra teman och tre subteman. Studien kom fram till att studenter upplever att det finns möjligheter till sociala interaktioner med VKV. Flexibiliteten och möjligheten att vara platsoberoende är väldigt positivt för studenter. Studien har konstaterat att studenters koncentration, motivation och studieteknik har påverkats negativt sedan införandet av VKV föreläsningar. Vid användning av LMS så har upplevelsen varit att det finns en minimal påverkan på centrala faktorerna för lärande. / During the covid-19 pandemic, digital education became an important method for maintaining learning for educational institutions. By using digital platforms and tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Video Conferencing tools (VKV), students can learn without being physically present. Previous research has addressed the social and physical problems that can arise in the event of an unwanted environmental change. Furthermore, it has been emphasized that individuals have different conditions for distance education, which can affect learning throughout the education. It also highlights the strengths and weaknesses of distance education, but nothing that specifically affects how the digital platforms have affected students' motivation, concentration and study techniques during covid-19. The purpose of this study was to investigate how students at Linnaeus University feel that they have been affected by the involuntary distance education that covid-19 entails and the digital learning platforms and tools used. A qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews has been the study's method of data collection. The study involved five informants who studied in various programs within Linnaeus University. Creswell’s six steps for data analysis was chosen to analyze the data which resulted in two main areas that included four themes and three subthemes. The study concluded that students feel that there are opportunities for social interactions with VKV. The flexibility and the opportunity to be site-independent is very positive for students. The study has found that students' concentration, motivation and study techniques have been negatively affected since the introduction of VKV lectures. When using LMS, the experience has been that there is a minimal impact on the key factors for learning.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur socionomstudenter hanterar samt upplever stress i relation till utbildningen under övergången från digital till fysisk undervisning. Målgruppen var socionomstudenter på termin två, termin tre samt termin sju på ett universitet i mellansverige. En kvalitativ intervjustudie genomfördes där en semistrukturerad intervjuguide användes och fem respondenter deltog. Teorin om hantering av stress användes för att tematisera och analysera resultatet från intervjuerna. Resultatet i studien visar att socionomstudenter upplever stress under utbildningen i samband med övergången från digital till fysisk undervisning. Resultatet visar att den upplevda stressen kan vara kopplat till osäkerhet kring restriktioner i relation till fysisk undervisning samt ökade svårighetsgrader på kurserna. Resultatet visar även att socionomstudenterna använder sig utav socialt stöd samt problemfokuserade strategier vid hantering av stress i samband med utbildningen. Slutsatsen i denna studie är att det kan vara svårt att veta vilka faktorer som påverkar socionomstudenternas upplevda stress samt att socionomstudenters använder flera strategier för hantering av stress i samband med utbildningen. / The purpose of this study was to investigate how social work students handle and experience stress in connection to their education during the transition from digital to physical education. The target group was social work students in term two, term three and term seven at a university in central Sweden. A qualitative interview study was conducted where a semi-structured interviewguide was used and five respondents participated. The coping theory was used to thematize and analyze the results from the interviews. The results of the study show that social work students experience stress during their education in association to the transition from digital to physical education. The results show that the perceived stress may be linked to uncertainty about restrictions in connection with physical education and increased degree of difficulty in the courses of the program. The results also show that the social work students use social support and problem-focused strategies when managing stress in connection to their education. The conclusion of this study is that it can be difficult to know which factors that effect social work students' perceived stress and that social work students use several strategies for managing stress in connection to their education.
