The newspaper El Peruano indicates that out of every ten Peruvians, seven are
overweight because of bad eating habits; It also indicates that because of the pandemic many
of these habits have increased, which makes us the third country in Latin America with a high
rate of overweight, (El Peruano, 2021). Faced with this situation, services and platforms can
help connect users with the possibility of support to reduce the percentage of poor nutrition.
The SanoYa application seeks to contribute to the improvement of these habits through the
connection of healthy food providers with users who want a healthy diet.
Our business is to develop an agile application that will create a virtual healthy food
market, where suppliers of healthy products and foods will interact with users who demand
said foods. The application responds to a pain identified in Metropolitan Lima, which is
existing due to finding few means that bring them closer to buying healthy products. The
application aims to be an innovative, fast,
and efficient alternative in care, which is presented to the user as an application that
provides healthy eating options for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the latter being one of the most
exposed meals. to the consumption of foods with a high level of fats and flours.
Finally, the results of the financial indicators of a projection in the first five years of
the project show its economic sustainability. The initial investment of S/ 320,000 and an
average cost of capital of 12.13% results in a net economic value (VAN) of S/1’211,922 and
an internal rate of return (IRR) of 75.89%.

Understanding the spatial distribution of prostate cancer and how it changes according
to prostate specific antigen (PSA) values, Gleason score, and other clinical parameters may
help comprehend the disease and increase the overall success rate of biopsies. This work
aims to build 3D spatial distributions of prostate cancer and examine the extent and location
of cancer as a function of independent clinical parameters. The border of the gland and
cancerous regions from whole-mount histopathological images are used to reconstruct 3D
models showing the localization of tumor. This process utilizes color segmentation and
interpolation based on mathematical morphological distance. 58 glands are deformed into
one prostate atlas using a combination of rigid, a ne, and b-spline deformable registration
techniques. Spatial distribution is developed by counting the number of occurrences in
a given position in 3D space from each registered prostate cancer. Finally a di erence
between proportions is used to compare di erent spatial distributions. Results show that
prostate cancer has a significant di erence (SD) in the right zone of the prostate between
populations with PSA greater and less than 5 ng=ml. Age does not have any impact in the
spatial distribution of the disease. Positive and negative capsule-penetrated cases show a SD
in the right posterior zone. There is SD in almost all the glands between cases with tumors
larger and smaller than 10% of the whole prostate. A larger database is needed to improve
the statistical validity of the test. Finally, information from whole-mount histopathological
images could provide better insight into prostate cancer. / Tesis

The context of COVID-19 has forced social confinement due to increasingly visible
effects in daily life: a) less physical contact; b) remote purchases; and c) growing need for
biosafety protocols. In this sense, the wineries that represent a point of sale of the
traditional channel of basic products in neighborhoods face the challenge of adapting to the
new purchasing behavior of the population. This change is evident in the purchasing
preferences that have migrated towards digitization; as well as, the need to receive orders at
home.
In addition, based on research and literature review, it was identified that business
problems of the wineries in Lima Metropolitan comprises three issues to be resolved: a)
there is a lack of negotiating power of the winemakers with their distributors affecting the
supply of these; b) inefficient warehouse management negatively impacts business
profitability; and c) the wineries are not prepared to meet the new demand generated by the
change in consumer purchasing habits.
Therefore, the development of an intelligent ecosystem is proposed to improve the
relationship between the distributor - winemaker and winemaker - customer. Achieving the
supply of essential products through the use of the online channel, promoting the integral
management of warehouses by means the digitization of their processes, integrating
communication in real time between users and allowing the orders of delivery.

In Peru, there are multiple cases of scams related to the purchase and sale of real
estate due to the lack of knowledge of the necessary documentation to verify if a property is
completely legal, generating distrust at the time of acquiring a property. Additionally, people
have little time to carry out procedures to obtain all the documentation of the property.
Therefore, InmuebleFact provides detailed information on registered real estate in the
city of Lima. The proposal is aimed at adults between 25 and 55 years of age of
socioeconomic level A, B and C who are looking for the documentation of a property to
know its legal status and avoid being surprised by real estate scammers.
Since this is a startup business proposal, the discount rate is 15% and a cost of debt of
8%. Considering the financial analysis presented in this document, a Weighted Average Cost
of Capital of 11.21% is obtained. After obtaining the Free Cash Flow for the next five years,
the net present value is $ 1,205,464 and an internal rate of return of 482%, concluding that
the project is viable. Additionally, to determine the social net present value of the project, the
Ministry of Economy and Finance mentions that the social discount rate is equivalent to 8%,
achieving a social net present value of $ 848,549.
This proposal will contribute to the fulfillment of two Sustainable Development Goals
mentioned in the Agenda 2023 approved by the United Nations: (a) Decent work and
economic growth, because it generates employment for professionals and (b) Industry,
innovation and infrastructure, since it provides buyers of real estate with geolocation
technology to detect fully formalized properties and the option of having the required
documentation in a short time.

This paper proposes a solution to the insufficient parking spots based on technology
and participatory economics. The identification of the problem, the solution proposal, and its
validation have been achieved thanks to the application of the Design Thinking methodology
and with the support of other tools such as the value proposition canvas, the business model
canvas, and the flourishing business model canvas. The project has been called 3S Parking
and consists of developing a mobile application and a web platform that will allow drivers
looking for parking spots in high-demand areas to connect with people who own a property
with parking spots available in these areas to establish a short-term business relationship.
People who have participated in the experiments quickly identify the solution model as they
are already familiar with similar experiences of accommodation solutions.
With this solution proposal, we consider that, in addition to lightening the problems of
the same participants in the commercial relationship, generating economic income for some,
and saving time and fuel for others, it will be possible to improve public spaces often invaded
by vehicles that bother the people who live or work in these areas. In this way, we identified
that 3S Parking contributes to achieving sustainable development objectives 8, 9 and 11. In
addition, it can reach an estimated social NPV of S/397,600.54 by the fifth year of operation.
3S Parking is presented as an economically sustainable and viable project estimated
that in five years, it will reach an NPV of S/ 5,322,306.90 with an IRR of 67.85% in a
scenario of moderate growth.

Given the need to provide a specialized solution within the food industry, many
delivery companies have emerged in Peru, however, these multilateral platforms only offer
intermediation with their partners, local restaurants to their customers, which involves a
delivery cost and a long delivery time.
The objective of this solution proposal is to provide a disruptive model for the
working people of the city of Arequipa, who cannot prepare their own diet despite being at
home, due to working hours or because of the little time they have to go out to eat or order a
delivery in Arequipa.
On the other hand, there are people who have availability of time and operational
resources who prepare food at home and can offer plates of food for sale. The proposed
solution is an application that will serve as an intermediary between users and providers of
homemade food; which was validated with two hypotheses that allowed us to develop the
desirability part of the business model through prototype tests and surveys. For the validation
of the feasibility based on the marketing plan, the Montecarlo simulation was carried out,
obtaining an efficiency of 72%.
According to the financial evaluation that was carried out based on the projected cash
flows, using a discount rate of 15.19%, since it is the weighted average cost of capital
(WACC) rate, a NPV of S/. 932,437.36 in a period of 5 years and an IRR of 45.00%, it
should be noted, the discounted cash flows begin to be positive in the second year of
operation. In addition, a social benefit of 1.4 million soles is generated in the first year of
operation.

estarían dispuestos a usarla.
The present investigation began after identifying a problem related to public and social health
that was exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The issue lies in the difficulty of finding
assistance and medical support for mental health and overall well-being. The solution is
called FelizMente, which aims to impact the health of individuals with depression, anxiety,
and stress, improving their well-being through access to information from healthcare
professionals and activities to alleviate their ailments. It creates a community of users where
healthcare professionals and patients interact. To design the solution, hypotheses were
validated regarding the desirability of the business model through prototype testing with
users, demonstrating their willingness to use it. Hypotheses addressing the feasibility of sales
projections in relation to the marketing budget were also validated using Monte Carlo
simulation. Finally, the hypothesis of financial viability and cash requirements for the project
under different defined growth scenarios was also validated. It is concluded that FelizMente
is a business model that generates economic and social value through the use of customer
consumption information. It should be noted that the solution is aligned with SDG 3,
impacting four of its targets, promoting mental health and well-being. In the financial aspect,
FelizMente generates value due to the exponential growth of its sales at low costs. It projects
a NPV of S/1,295,814, an IRR of 35.06%, and a social NPV of S/4,746,487, indicating that
executing the business idea is recommended.

Currently, anxiety has become a disorder that affects thousands of people worldwide,
identifying it as a relevant social problem. Given this, we propose the creation of a friendly
and accessible mobile application to cover psychological care, using technology to enhance
accessibility and immediate care. The platform will be called “IHelpU!” and will allow our
user to connect with various profiles of mental health professionals in a safe, fast, and private
way, taking sessions and therapies completely online and accessing personalized content that
allows them to progress in treatment.
The solution of the problem has been validated through surveys that show the positive
result of our three hypotheses. In the first hypothesis, 60.8% of the respondents prefer virtual
attention to face-to-face care, in the second hypothesis, 75% of clients would be willing to
pay S/ 70 soles for an online psychological consultation, and in the third hypothesis, 77.76 %
of those surveyed consider that the information contained in the app is relevant.
The effectiveness of the marketing plan was demonstrated, obtaining a relationship
between the VTVC and CAC for the proposed scenarios of 4.60 which means that the
marketing plan will produce more income than losses during the 5 years of operation,
generating value for the project.
To conclude, “IHelpU!” is a sustainable and scalable business model aligned with
SDG 3, with a social relevance index of 8.61 times the value of VANF, generating a NPV of
S/1,038,495 and an IRR of 541.18%, an initial investment of S/ 30,000 to be recovered in the
first year of operation.
