Systém správy identit pro malé a střední firmy / Identity Management Solution for Small and Medium Businesses

The topic of this master's thesis is development of identity management solution for small and medium business. The thesis is divided into four major parts. The first part contains theoretical background as description of RBAC model or model with relationships between practically used objects (user identity, role, position, permission, account...). Analysis of functioning and needs of targeted organizations was carried out in the second part. The third part describes the design of the developed application. The fourth part discusses actual implementation of the application. The main outcome of the thesis is implemented application that can be deployed at thesis defined organizations. The application includes all the functionality required in the first phase of the project.

Democracy and representation in the French Directory, 1795-1799

Democracy was no more than a marginal force during the eighteenth century, unanimously denounced as a chimerical form of government unfit for passionate human beings living in commercial societies. Placed in this context this thesis studies the concept of ‘representative democracy' during the French Revolution, particularly under the Directory (1795–1799). At the time the term was an oxymoron. It was a neologism strategically coined by the democrats at a time when ‘representative government' and ‘democracy' were understood to be diametrically opposed to each other. In this thesis the democrats' political thought is simultaneously placed in several contexts. One is the rapidly changing political, economic and international circumstances of the French First Republic at war. Another is the anxiety about democratic decline emanating from the long-established intellectual traditions that regarded the history of Greece and Rome as proof that democracy and popular government inevitably led to anarchy, despotism and military government. Due to this anxiety the ruling republicans' answer during the Directory to the predicament—how to avoid the return of the Terror, win the war, and stabilize the Republic without inviting military government—was crystalized in the notion of ‘representative government', which defined a modern republic based on a firm rejection of ‘democratic' politics. Condorcet is important at this juncture because he directly challenged the given notions of his own period (such as that democracy inevitably fosters military government). Building on this context of debate, the arguments for democracy put forth by Antonelle, Chaussard, Français de Nantes and others are analysed. These democrats devised plans to steer France and Europe to what they regarded as the correct way of genuinely ending the Revolution: the democratic republic. The findings of this thesis elucidate the elements of continuity and those of rupture between the Enlightenment and the French Revolution.

Conclui destacando a relevância do DGP, dos grupos e pesquisas desenvolvidas pelos pesquisadores para o enriquecimento das temáticas por eles estudadas e a construção e disseminação de conhecimentos, incluindo reflexões a respeito da caracterização dos trabalhos publicados. / This paper reports a study performed in the Directory of Research Groups in Brazil (DGP) registered by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) which approach Act 10.639/03 and the scientific production about it. It identifies the research groups which developed studies about the Act 10.639/03 and its attributions, emphasizing the importance of its implementation. It performs an exploratory research through searches and data retrieving in the Directory. The study approaches a revision of the literature about the Act within the scientific production of the researchers from groups and research lines, besides performing an analysis about the role of intellectuals in society. It presents the lines of research retrieved, the group of researchers who perform the studies, the areas and institutions in which these lines are inserted and their respective scientific production. The research identifies the most discussed content about the Act 10.639/03, characterizing the subject of every analyzed work. It also defines subcategories which represent the published articles, which discuss mainly teachers’ practice/formation, school education/curriculum and the implementation of the Act. The research highlights the importance of the theme and the recurrent interest of researchers in conducting studies and discussions about the several challenges to be faced, noticing that the publications in journals are not the main focus of these studies. The paper conclusion focuses on the relevance of the DGP, groups and research developed by the researchers to enrich the themes studied and the construction and dissemination of knowledge, including reflections about the characterization of the published works.

O Governo de Minas Gerais realizou uma reorganização da estrutura orgânica da Administração Pública do Poder Executivo, por meio do Decreto nº 45.536, de 28/01/2011, modificando a estrutura organizacional da Secretaria Estadual de Educação criando a Subsecretaria de Recursos Humanos, e nas Superintendências Regionais de Ensino, a Diretoria de Pessoal (DIPE). A partir desse novo cenário, chegamos à pergunta norteadora deste estudo: Quais são os desafios da Diretoria de Pessoal da SRE de Governador Valadares na Gestão de pessoas e atualização da vida funcional dos servidores? A metodologia para desenvolvimento desta pesquisa envolve um Estudo de Caso, a pesquisa de campo realizada é exploratória, descritiva e de cunho qualitativo, sendo utilizados questionários, entrevistas e análise documental, além desses instrumentos foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e consultados autores como Chiavenato (1999; 2004; 2010), Bergue (2010), Tachizawa, Ferreira e Fortuna (2006), Lück (2010), Mintzberg (2006; 2008; 2010). Os resultados da pesquisa demonstraram que o impacto da nova diretoria proporcionou maior eficiência na execução dos trabalhos, bem como melhoria no atendimento ao público. Foi visto que os gestores não utilizam adequadamente os instrumentos e ferramentas de gestão de pessoas colocadas à sua disposição, o que se aliou à falta de planejamento integrado. O desafio que influencia a atualização da vida funcional dos servidores é dar instrumentos às escolas para que tenham autonomia para gerenciar o processo funcional do servidor, para que seja atualizado corretamente, durante sua vida laboral até o momento da sua aposentadoria. Portanto, é necessário proporcionar qualificação continuada aos gestores e servidores para que possam estar sempre motivados, preparados e direcionados para o atendimento às pessoas, às demandas internas e externas. / The present study aims to analyze the process of implementation of the Pernonell Directory of the Regional Educational Secretariat of Governador Valadares. The Government of Minas Gerais has conducted a reorganization of the organizational structure of the Public Administration of the Executive Power, by means of the decree number 45536, of 28/01/2011, changing the organizational structure of the State Educational Secretariat and creating the Subsecretariat of Human Resources, and in the Regional Educational Coordinations, creating the Personell Sector (DIPE, in Portuguese). From this new setting, we arrive at the guiding question of this study: Which are the challenges of the Personell Sector of the SRE of Governador Valadares in Public management and updating the functional live of the employees? The methodology encompasses a case study, whose field research is exploratory, descriptive and qualitative, utilizing surveys, interviews and documental analysis, besides theoretical concepts by authors such as Chiavenato (1999; 2004; 2010), Bergue (2010), Hersey e Blanchard (1999), Tachizawa, Ferreira e Fortuna (2006), Lück (2010), Mintzberg (2006; 2008; 2010). The results found demonstrated the impact of the new directory in providing greater efficiency in executing tasks, as well improving public services. It was noticed that managers do not utilize adequately the management instruments and tools made available to them, and also failed to produce an integrated planning. The challenge that influences the updating of the functional life of employees is to allow the schools to have the autonomy to manage the functional processes of the employees, so that it may be adequately updated, throughout their work lives up to their retirement. Therefore, it is necessary to provide continuing qualification to managers and employees so that they may always be motivated, and prepared towards public services, and to internal and external demands.

Desse modo, o objetivo geral é analisar se esta nova estrutura está promovendo trabalhos alinhados às demandas do público que procura a SRE/Ubá. Os específicos focam em investigar se tal mudança proporciona cooperação estratégica governamental, a partir de melhor organização das funções, ao orientar os setores na busca de soluções eficazes para o alcance das metas pactuadas. Justifica-se o tema, uma vez que a DIPE caminha para superar dificuldades, apoiar e qualificar os servidores que atuam nesta área, tendo como foco a melhoria da qualidade dos serviços ofertados. A metodologia envolveu um Estudo de Caso cuja pesquisa de campo foi exploratória, descritiva e de cunho qualitativo, tendo como técnicas os seguintes instrumentos utilizados: questionário, entrevista com roteiro semiestruturado e análise documental tais como: leis, decretos e notas técnicas, além dos conceitos de alguns teóricos, a saber: Chiavenato, Bergue, Tachizawa, Paradela e Mello. A partir de alguns resultados apresentados, a DIPE proporcionou maior eficiência na execução dos trabalhos, bem como na assistência ao público, promovendo maior diálogo entre SRE-Escola, com consequente descentralização das tarefas e facilidade de comunicação, tornando assim, o serviço mais qualificado e ágil. / The proposal that contemporary public institutions crave is that Brazilian states to transform and build within them, work environments more collaborative, integrated, and daring technicians. This dissertation aims to explain the implementation process of the Directorate of Personnel (DIPE) in the Regional Superintendent of Education of Uba (SRE / Uba) that according to the new organizational structure of the State Department of Education of Minas Gerais (SEE / MG) became effective from 27/01/2011, by Decree No. 45,536, in all SREs. The research aims to contribute to understanding the following question: The new organizational structure implemented in SRE / Uba provides quality in providing service to the general public? Thus, the general objective is to analyze whether this new structure is promoting work aligned to the demands of the public who seeks SRE / Uba. The specific focus on investigating whether such a change provides strategic government cooperation, from better organization of functions, to guide the sector in seeking effective solutions to achieve the agreed targets. Justified the theme, since the DIPE walks to overcome difficulties, support and qualify the servers who work in this area, focusing on improving the quality of services offered. The methodology involved a case study whose field research was exploratory, descriptive and qualitative nature, with the techniques used the following instruments: questionnaire, semistructured interview and document analysis such as laws, decrees and technical notes, beyond concepts some theorists, namely: Chiavenato, Bergue, Tachizawa, Paradela and Mello. From some results presented in DIPE provided greater efficiency in the execution of the works, as well as assistance to the public, promoting greater dialogue between SRE-School, with consequent decentralization of tasks and ease of communication, thus making the most qualified service and agile.

Efficient super-peer-based coordinated service provision

Abstract Peer-to-Peer (P2P) networks have been applied in many applications for sharing resources such as storage space, media files or network bandwidth. Their main benefits include decentralization, self-organization, and scalability. Moreover, P2P technologies are evolving towards hybrid systems, where P2P networks are used in those parts of a larger system to leverage the decentralization most efficiently. The examples include cloud computing, where P2P networks are used in sharing computing resources, and Machine-to-Machine communication, where P2P networks are used for resource discovery. In super-peer overlays, the nodes are either regular nodes or super nodes that are located higher in the node hierarchy. This type of overlay explores the heterogeneity of peers in the overlay network to enable applications to run more efficiently. Leveraging the advantage of a super-peer overlay for service provision is an important issue. This thesis contributes to the research and development of super-peer-based coordination service provision from three aspects. Firstly, a super-peer-based coordinated service provision framework is proposed to coordinate different service groups and service peers in resource sharing, aiming to enable service groups to adapt to dynamic service demands. The proposed framework is evaluated using the following performance metrics: service response time, scalability, robustness, and communication traffic, in comparison to related work. Secondly, an efficient algorithm for rapidly constructing a robust super-peer overlay is proposed. The algorithm introduces a super-peer candidate based method for super-peer selection and a two-hop search method for finding client peers. Performance evaluation takes into account the convergence time of building a super-peer overlay, communication overhead, scalability, robustness. A comparison to related work is also conducted. Thirdly, the architecture of distributed resource discovery based on P2P overlay for Machine-to-Machine service provision is proposed. The architecture supports heterogeneous devices using different communication protocols in resource registration and discovery for achieving interoperability. As a part of the thesis, a functional real-world prototype is implemented and verified with a simple demonstration. Preliminary evaluation on the prototype indicates that caching can improve the response time of resource lookup dramatically. / Tiivistelmä Vertaisverkkoja on hyödynnetty resurssien kuten tallennustilan, mediasisältöjen ja tietoliikennekapasiteetin jakamisessa. Niiden etuja perinteisiin keskitettyihin järjestelmiin verrattuna ovat hajautettu arkkitehtuuri, itseorganisoituvuus ja skaalautuvuus. Vertaisverkkoja käytetään yhä useammin järjestelmän osien toteuttamisessa, joissa hajautettujen resurssien hyödyntämisellä saavutetaan suurimmat edut. Esimerkkeinä ovat pilvilaskenta, jossa vertaisverkkoa käytetään laskentaresurssien jakamiseen, sekä laitteidenvälinen kommunikaatio, jossa vertaisverkkoja käytetään resurssien löytämiseen. Hierarkkisissa vertaisverkoissa niihin kytkeytyneet laitteet jaotellaan laitteiden kapasiteetin mukaan tavallisiin noodeihin ja näiden yläpuolella hierarkiassa toimiviin ylinoodeihin. Ylinoodeihin perustuva vertaisverkon kuoriverkko hyödyntää yksittäisten verkon noodien eli laitteiden erilaisuutta, jotta verkko voisi toimia tehokkaammin. Tämän ominaisuuden hyödyntäminen on erityisen tärkeää palvelun tarjonnassa. Tässä työssä on tutkittu ylinoodeihin perustuvan vertaisverkon palvelun tarjontaa kolmesta näkökulmasta. Ensimmäiseksi, työssä ehdotetaan ylinoodien koordinoimaa palveluntarjonnan toimintamallia resurssien jakamisessa. Toimintamallissa palveluryhmät ja palvelunoodit adaptoituvat dynaamisesti palvelupyyntöjen tarpeisiin. Tämän ratkaisun suorituskykyä arvioidaan palvelun vasteajan, skaalautuvuuden, robustisuuden ja tietoliikennemäärän suhteen verrattuna aiempiin ratkaisuihin. Toiseksi, työssä esitellään tehokas algoritmi robustin ylinoodikuoriverkon nopeaan muodostamiseen. Algoritmi käyttää ylinoodiehdokasmenetelmää ja kahden hypyn hakumetodia asiakasnoodien etsimisessä. Suorituskyvyn arvioinnissa otetaan huomioon ylinoodikuoriverkon konvergoitumisaika, tietoliikenneviestinnän aiheuttama ylimääräinen kuormitus, sekä järjestelmän skaalautuvuus ja robustisuus. Esitetyn algoritmin tehokkuutta arvioidaan vertaamalla näitä suorituskykymittareita aiempiin ratkaisuihin. Kolmanneksi, työssä esitellään hajautettu resurssihakemiston arkkitehtuuri, joka perustuu laitteiden välisen kuoriverkon palveluntarjontaan. Arkkitehtuuri tukee erilaisten laitteiden ja niiden käyttämien protokollien resurssien rekisteröintiä ja löytämistä yhteensopivuuden saavuttamiseksi. Väitöskirjatyön osana on toteutettu toimiva prototyyppi, jonka toimivuus on todennettu demonstraation avulla. Prototyypillä tehdyt mittaukset antavat perustellun syyn olettaa, että esitetyn ratkaisun mukainen välimuistin käyttö voi merkittävästi lyhentää resurssien etsimisen vasteaikaa.

In this paper, the author focuses on the study of the legal institution of the Open Stock Corporation, analyzing the way how it has been treated in our legislation over time. Furthermore, he analyzes its current regulation in the General Law of Corporations, the Securities Market Law and some isolated legal provisions. Finally, he provides some ideas for the necessary reform of this institution. / En el presente artículo, el autor se centra en el estudio de la institución jurídica de la Sociedad Anónima Abierta, analizando la forma como ha sido tratada en nuestra legislación a lo largo del tiempo. Asimismo, analiza su regulación actual en la Ley General de Sociedades, en la Ley del Mercado de Valores y en algunas disposiciones legales aisladas. Finalmente, brinda algunas ideas para la necesaria reforma de esta institución.

Master's thesis treats of implementation of big block file system for FreeBSD operating system. The introduction of this document is dedicated to theoretically analysis, which is oriented on history, sense and usage of file systems. Next chapter describes the architecture of UFS/FFS file system. Implementation part starts with introducing design of new file system, which was isnpired by MSDOSFS file system. Last part of this thesis presents implementation of file system with great emphasis on problems, which can happen during programming.
