Darbe atlikta socialinio pedagogo bendradarbiavimo ypatumų gimnazijoje analizė: pedagogų ir tėvų požiūrio aspektu. Literatūros apžvalgoje nagrinėjama socialinio pedagogo bendradarbiavimo samprata, ypatumai, problemos bei socialinio pedagogo kompetencijos sprendžiant socioedukacines problemas. Tyrime dalyvavo 176 pedagogai ir 15 mokinių tėvų. Anketinės apklausos metodu ir pusiau struktūruoto interviu metodu buvo atliktas tyrimas, kurio tikslas - atskleisti socialinio pedagogo ir gimnazijos bendruomenės bendradarbiavimo ypatumus sprendžiant mokinių socioedukacines problemas. Uždaviniai: išanalizuoti tėvų, pedagogų bei socialinių pedagogų požiūrį į bendradarbiavimą bei jo galimybes gimnazijoje, nustatyti bendradarbiavimo plėtotę skatinančius bei trukdančius veiksnius, atskleisti tinkamiausias bendradarbiavimo formas sprendžiant mokinių socioedukacines problemas, sukurti bendradarbiavimo modelį socioedukacinių problemų sprendimui. Darbe keliama hipotezė: tikėtina, kad socialinio pedagogo bendradarbiavimas su ugdymo institucijos bendruomene yra viena iš svarbių jo veiklos krypčių, pasitvirtino. Atlikta kokybinė ir statistinė duomenų analizė. The research has been conducted using a questionaire and semi-structured interview method. The aim of this research is to reveal communication peculiarities between a social pedagogue and a school community solving pupils‘ socio-educational problems. Objectives: to make analysis of the attitude of parents, pedagogues and social pedagogues towards the communication and its possibilities at gymnasium, to define factors which stimulate or hinder the development of communication, to identify the most appropriate forms of communication in solving pupils‘ socio-educational problems, to establish a communication pattern for achieving a solution to socio-educational problems. Sparčiai kintanti visuomenė kelia vis naujus reikalavimus būsimiesiems pedagogams. Svarbu gebėti integruotis į aplinką, kurioje egzistuoja būsimi pedagogai. Šiuo požiūriu svarbus būsimo pedagogo sociokultūrinis mobilumas - gebėjimas prisitaikyti prie visuomenės kultūros ypatybių. Šis reiškinys verčia pažinti sociokultūrinės raiškos sistemą, kuri koreguoja individualios kultūros bei kompetencijos struktūrą. Todėl būsimo pedagogo mobilumas yra svarbus jo kompetencijos ir profesinės veiklos sėkmės komponentai. Tyrimo hipotezė - akademinėje aplinkoje įgyjamos sociokultūrinės raiškos patirtis yra pedagogų profesinės sėkmės ir vertybinių nuostatų formavimosi prielaida. Tyrimo tikslas - pagrįsti būsimųjų pedagogų sociokultūrinės raiškos akademinėje aplinkoje, kaip profesinio tobulėjimo prielaidą. Tyrimo metodologija ir metodai. It is important to be able to integrate into the environment, where there are future educators. In this regard, an important teacher of the future sociocultural mobility - the ability to adapt to society's cultural characteristics. This phenomenon leads to know the sociocultural expression system, which adjusts the individual and the cultural competence framework. Therefore, the forward teacher mobility is important for its excellence and professional success components. A Strategic Perspective on Plants in Manufacturing Networks

This dissertation addresses the topic of manufacturing network strategies, with a particular focus on the plant perspective. Research on manufacturing networks aims at contributing decision support on how to set up and how to coordinate factories that act in a global setting. Manufacturing networks are networks consisting of wholly owned plant, as opposed to supply chains management where also plants belonging to other organisations are considered. Research on the role of the plant in manufacturing networks can help to gain insights in how the network works and how to achieve network-related competitive advantages. Over the last two decades there has been a trend in increased globalisation and when companies expand beyond their home markets there is a leap in complexity that needs to be handled. A survey of Swedish plants shows that a large majority of medium and large sized plants are part in some kind of manufacturing network, making research on such networks highly relevant. The overall objective of this dissertation is to investigate how factories fit into the network in terms of roles, strategic autonomy and market configurations. Much research has either focused on networks as a whole, often assuming similar or identical plants, or the focus has been on plant internal decision. This research addresses the borderland between plant and network. This dissertation addresses two research objectives. The first is to investigate the relationship between networks and plants roles with particular focus on Swedish based networks and plants and the second is to test and further develop the theory on plant roles. The empirical data that was used in the dissertation was the product of a mail survey and a case study at a manufacturer of heat exchangers. The survey was sent to 563 Swedish factories and included information on competitive priorities, processes, plant roles, performance, suppliers, risk as well as general product and company information. Using focus groups, the case company was followed from the start of the project in January 2006. Following the case company during five years gave the opportunity to study networks in transformation. The research contributed to several insights to the area of plant roles and manufacturing networks as well as to practitioners in manufacturing. Internal and external suppliers are handled differently in terms of selection criteria, which indicates different roles in the network. Detailed exploration of individual site competences has lead to an improved model based on competence themes and links between the plant level and the network level have been established. Additionally we contribute to the manufacturing strategy process area by investigating and suggesting a model for strategic decision autonomy in manufacturing networks. The results are aimed at providing guidance for decision making in manufacturing networks as well as providing an improved foundation for further research in the area.

Matematiska kompetenser i läroböckernasuppgifter : En granskning av två Matematik A läroböcker

<p>Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka förekomsten av de matematiska kompetenserna i läroböcker för Matematik A. Centralt i studien är de sex matematiska kompetenser, som Palm <em>et al.</em> (2004) analyserat fram ur de nationella styrdokumenten. Dessa kompetenser är: kommunikationskompetens, modelleringskompetens, resonemangskompetens, begreppskompetens, problemlösningskompetens och algoritmkompetens. För att nå syftet genomfördes en analys av uppgifter i två läroböcker för Matematik A.</p><p>Undersökningens resultat visar att alla sex matematiska kompetenser finns representerade i läroböckernas uppgifter. Begrepps- och algoritmkompetenserna dominerar starkast i båda läroböckerna (85-95 %) medan de övriga kompetenserna är svagt representerade. Resultatet som också relaterats till strävansmålen för matematik i gymnasieskolan, visar att det blir svårt att utveckla samtliga kompetenser och nå alla strävansmål enbart genom arbete i läroboken.</p><p> </p> / <p>The purpose of this essay is to study how mathematical competences appear in text books for Mathematics A. The main objective is the six mathematical competences, which Palm <em>et al.</em> (2004) analysed from the national curriculum. These competences are: communication competence, modelling competence, reasoning competence, concept competence, problem solving competence and algorithm competence. To reach the purpose, an analysis of tasks in two Mathematics A text books was conducted.</p><p>The result of the analysis shows that all six mathematical competences are represented in the textbooks, but the concept and algorithm competences appear extensively more in both textbooks (85-95 %) while the other competences appear briefly. The result which also is connected to the curriculum, may result in difficulties not only in developing the competences but also in reaching all curriculum goals by working solely with the textbooks.</p>

Capital social e o desenvolvimento das competências coletivas : um estudo de caso em duas empresas metalúrgicas

Partindo de uma lacuna existente nas abordagens relacionadas ao tema competências, as quais são tratadas sob o enfoque da organização e do indivíduo, esta pesquisa busca compreender e analisar a relação existente entre capital social e o desenvolvimento de competências coletivas, no intuito de entender de que forma as características contextuais do capital social podem favorecer a consolidação dessas competências. A proposta central deste trabalho é um estudo qualitativo através da análise comparativa de duas organizações segundo dois critérios: programa de gestão por competências; processos formais de trabalho em equipe. A fim de traçar um comparativo entre as mesmas, a primeira empresa atende aos dois critérios, enquanto que a segunda empresa não atende a nenhum dos critérios. Dentro das possibilidades de desenho metodológico, foi selecionada a pesquisa qualitativa exploratória com estratégia de estudo de caso e método de coleta de dados envolvendo entrevistas semiestruturadas, observação não-participante e análise de dados secundários. Paralelamente, procedeu-se a codificação das informações coletadas nas entrevistas com o auxílio do software QSR NVivo versão 7.0. Esperava-se que a organização que atende aos dois critérios conseguisse um desempenho mais expressivo em relação a criação de capital social e o desenvolvimento de competências coletivas. Entretanto, os resultados mostram que ambas as organizações apresentam características contextuais do capital social que favorecem a consolidação das competências coletivas. The central proposal of this dissertation is a qualitative research through comparative analysis of two metallurgical companies according two criteria: competence management program; formal processes of teamwork. In order to draw a comparison between the two companies, the first company meets the two criteria instead the second company does not meet any of the two criteria. Within the methodological procedures available, was selected the qualitative research with case study strategy and data method collection involving semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation and secondary data analysis. In parallel, proceeded the encoding of interviews collected information’s with the software QSR Nvivo version 7.0. It was hoped that the company who meets the two criteria could have better perform about the creation of social capital and collective competences development. However, the results show that both companies presents contextual characteristics of social capital that facilitate the consolidation of the collective competences. The reasons for these facts can be explained by the strong identity of the analyzed teamwork’s, especially in relation to the organizational environment, daily routines and shares norms and values.

Esta dissertação trata das interfaces da escola, do Ensino da Geografia e da proposta do Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM). Procura responder algumas das inquietações que temos vivido em nossa jornada profissional, como, por exemplo: como deve ser o Ensino da Geografia no Ensino Médio, a partir da proposta do ENEM? A abordagem dada à Geografia nas questões do ENEM abarca uma leitura complexa do espaço geográfico ou não? Como podemos aproximar nossos fazeres e saberes pedagógicos em Geografia às atuais necessidades do Ensino Médio, baseando-nos em tal proposta? A abordagem teórico-metodológica é baseada no Paradigma da Complexidade de Edgar Morin, estando ancorada em diversas lunetas, entre elas as de Milton Santos e Jean Piaget. A metodologia empregada é a pesquisa qualitativa, com base em Uwe Flick. Em congruência com a teoria, a parte empírica deste estudo é desenvolvida a partir de uma escola da rede pública estadual de ensino, localizada na Região Metropolitana de Porto Alegre/RS. A proposta desta pesquisa é pensar e avaliar caminhos para o Ensino de Geografia que possibilitem problematizar e reconstruir as diferentes significações da vida, dentro e fora da sala de aula. / This thesis deals with the school interfaces, the Teaching of Geography and the proposal of High School National Exam (ENEM). It intends to answer to some of the concerns that we have been experiencing in our professional journey, as, for example: how does the teaching of Geography should be during High School, from ENEM's proposal? Does the approach directed to Geography in ENEM's questions embrace a complex reading of the geographical space or not? How can we get our work and pedagogical knowledge closer to the current needs of High School, based on such proposal? The theoretical-methodological approach is based on the Paradigm of Complexity by Edgar Morin, being anchored in a diversity of ideas, among them, the ones from Milton Santos and Jean Piaget. The methodology used is a qualitative research, based on Uwe Flick. In line with theory, the empirical part of this study is developed in a public school located in the Metropolitan Region of the city of Porto Alegre/RS. The aim of this research is to think and evaluate ways to the Teaching of Geography which allow to discuss and reconstruct the different meanings of life, inside and outside the classroom.

A abordagem metodológica adotada foi quantitativa de corte transversal. O instrumento usado para a coleta de dados foi um questionário eletrônico com 17 questões comparativas (antes e depois do decreto) sobre as ações de desenvolvimento de pessoas. A escala de resposta variava de 1 (nada) a 4 (totalmente). Foram 105 participantes, todos profissionais da área de Recursos Humanos das instituições públicas federais, a maioria de autarquias (47.6%) e localizada no Distrito Federal (38.1%). O resultado das análises para esta amostra permitiu identificar quatro níveis de estágio do desenvolvimento das competências, em órgãos federais do poder executivo, denominados: estagnado, conservador, engajado e pioneiro. Os resultados revelam ter havido mudanças na política de desenvolvimento de pessoas após a publicação do decreto. O plano anual de capacitação enfatiza as metas institucionais e as competências; as escolas de governo estão sendo mais procuradas como parceiras para capacitações; e os treinamentos estão sendo mais avaliados em termos de reação e de impacto (transferência de aprendizagem). Conclui-se que após o decreto aumentou a preocupação em executar políticas de capacitação congruentes com o perfil de competências do serviço público, o que sugere estar em processo uma mudança cultural do modelo de gestão de pessoas, embora o ritmo dessa mudança não seja o mesmo em todos os órgãos públicos investigados. The objective of this research is to analyze the changes in the processes of people development in the executive federal power, before the publication of enactment 5707/2006, that establishes the policies and the guidelines to people development in federal public administration, based in competences. The methodological approach adopted was quantitative cross-sectional. The survey used in data collection was an electronic questionnaire with 17 comparatives questions (before and after of enactment) about the actions in people development. The response scale ranged 1 (nothing) to 4 (totally). 105 professionals in the field of human resources of the federal public administration participated in the survey, most municipalities (47.6%) and located in the Distrito Federal (38.1%). The results of analyzes for this sample identified four levels of training competences development in the federal executive branch called: Stagnant, Conservative, Engaged and Pioneers. The results show that policies of people development have some changes after the publication of the enactment. The annual training plan underlines the institutional goals and the competences; the government schools are being more sought as partner for training; and the training are being more evaluated in terms of reaction and impact (transfer of learning). The conclusion is that after the enactment has raised concern in implementing training policies congruent with the competences profile of the public service, which suggests being in process a cultural change in people management model, although the pace of change is not the same in all public bodies investigated.

On the other hand, PUCP seeks to analyze and reflect on the current way of teaching to develop a new teaching method. The “Safe Water Industry in the City and Innovation Management” (La Industria del Agua Potable en una Ciudad y la Gestión de la Innovación) intends to develop an active and collaborative methodology jointly with students, teachers and professionals, while making use of ICT’s to produce training videos about water. Churches’ “Bloom’s Taxonomy for the Digital Era” is employed in understanding and interpreting the advanced learning methodology. / La Ley de Recursos Hídricos 29338 del Perú busca promover programas de educación sobre la importancia del agua; por su parte, la PUCP busca incentivar prácticas de enseñanza docente producto del análisis y de la reflexión sobre cómo se está enseñando. Exploring beginner teachers' perceptions of school support to enhance their capability sets in relation to teacher education policy

Philosophiae Doctor - PhD (Education) / The National Policy Framework for Teacher Education and Development in South Africa of 2006 (NPF) outlines seven principles which underpin this policy as expressed in the Norms and Standards for Educators (2000). These principles require a teacher to be: a specialist in a particular learning area, subject or phase; a specialist in teaching, learning and assessment; a curriculum developer; a leader, administrator and manager; a scholar and lifelong learner; and a professional who plays a role in community development, citizenship education, and pastoral care. Beginner teachers have difficulty adapting to these new roles as they have not had efficient exposure to the actual, often harsh realities of the classroom situation as it unfolds on a daily basis. A qualitative research approach is employed in the research study to explore beginner teachers' perceptions of school support to enhance their capability sets in relation to teacher education policy. Generally, a qualitative study lends itself to developing an understanding of a particular phenomenon of interest without formulating a hypothesis. In this explorative study, the investigation was underpinned by the elements of Amartya Sen's Capability Approach which include "Freedoms", "Unfreedoms", "Capabilities" and "Functionings" (Sen 1992). These elements were used to understand the nature of beginner teachers' competences and the impact of policy on their performance. In this regard, the achievement of quality learning outcomes concerning the basic competences of beginner teachers could be linked to Sen's vision for reaching achieved functionings (those valuable activities and situations that make up a person's well-being, which is also referred to as that which a person ultimately manages "to be and to do").
