Výuka orientovaná na rozvoj jazykových dovedností žáků s odlišným mateřským jazykem - přínosy a zápory použití v práci se třídou v hodinách Prvouky 2. ročníku ZŠ / Teaching focused on the development of foreigners' language skills - benefits and disadvantages at work with class in Science in 2nd gradeČanigová, Gabriela January 2021 (has links)
Gabriela Čanigová Teaching focused on the development of foreigners` language skills - benefits and disadvantages at work with class in Science in 2nd grade ABSTRACT The work will deal with the development of language skills of pupils with different mother tongue and evaluation of the possible benefits of including such focused activities in teaching the whole class. As many research surveys show, weakened language skills in the mother tongue are not only for pupils with a different mother tongue. Adjusting teaching to pupils with different foreigners language could enrich other pupils as well. On the other hand, it is possible that these activities will be too simple for most pupils, which could lead to a loss of interest. Another possible risk appears to be time consuming, which could lead to the need to reduce the scope and possibly the content of education. The research will be carried out in two research groups in the form of experimental teaching of selected topics of the subject Prvouka. In the experimental group the teaching (explanation, work with text, etc.) will be adapted to the language skills of pupils with different foreigners language. Such oriented education will emphasize an increased level of graphic visualization of the content of teaching and creation of space for communication and...

Utvecklingsinriktad förändring : En kvantitativ studie av ett pedagogiskt stöd i jämställdhetsintegrering på arbetsmarknaden / Development-oriented change : A quantitative study of a pedagogical support in equality integration in the labor marketWahlberg, Monica January 2023 (has links)
<p>PE207G. Supporting parents of children with learning impairmentsMotsepe, Gaseope Franscina Malefyane 31 March 2006 (has links)
The purpose of this study was to assess school-based psycho-educational support to parents of children with learning impairments and how the parents' needs differ according to the age of the child, the severity of the learning impairment and the educational status of the parent.
The study presents a literature review of the neuro-physiological origin of learning impairments, cognitive development, common problems experienced by children with learning impairments, the effects on the family of having a child with learning impairments and an overview of school support services in South Africa.
A survey study was used. Data was collected by means of a questionnaire. The results of the study showed that parents need to be equipped with knowledge and skills irrespective of the age of the child, the severity of the learning impairment, the number of years the child has been in special school and the educational status of the parents. / Educational Studies / M.Ed. "Here to stay ... so ... deal with it" : experiences and perceptions of Black British African Caribbean people about nursing careersWatson, Naomi Anna January 2014 (has links)
There is a noticeable absence of studies reflecting the personal views and experiences of black British African Caribbean (BBAC) people as students and clinical participants in UK nursing careers. Previous research about their nursing career choices has always been reported as part of other mixed BME cohorts and migrant groups. Indications in the literature suggest that they were being actively discouraged by their families from choosing nursing as a career, because of their parents’ and grandparents’ negative experiences as migrant workers in the NHS, leading to very low or non-participation in the profession. This study set out to address this gap by giving them a distinct voice, independent of other cohorts. It explored the factors which influence their decision and their experiences, throughout a variety of life stages, from school through to university and into clinical practice. This was to identify whether the findings from earlier research are still relevant from their perspectives rather than that of their parents. Participants and schools in the study were recruited by purposive sampling, and data was collected in three phases, a pilot study phase, a survey phase and an interview phase. A quantitative and qualitative interpretive approach were adopted underpinned by a mixed methods design. Descriptive statistical analysis of the survey and qualitative content analysis (QCA) of the interview transcripts were utilised to enable interrogation of the data. Findings are discussed within the context of available empirical evidence, related policy perspectives and theoretical underpinnings. Four main themes emerged from the study, as specific influencing factors on their experiences. These are: careers advice and choice for nursing, support, discrimination/racism and personal resilience. The findings reveal that BBAC people receive little or no careers advice about nursing at any of their life stages. Consequently, they make uninformed decisions about modern nursing careers, leaving a gap in their knowledge. However, they are not discouraged from choosing nursing as a career, by their families. When they choose a nursing career, they are fully supported and encouraged by their parents and families, in order to survive as students and clinical practitioners. However, institutional support as students and practitioners is weak and very poor. Despite this, they do not intend to actively discourage their own children from making nursing a career choice. Racism, discrimination and racialisation remain core factors influencing their social, educational and other lived experiences, despite numerous equality legislation and implementation. These have a continuous negative impact on them as visible minority students and practitioners in the NHS. They respond to these negative experiences by developing personal resilience aided by strong social and cultural support provided by their families and community. These findings make a unique contribution to the knowledge base by giving BBAC participants their own distinct voice. This was achieved through listening to them at varied points in their life stages, from school through to university and as eventual professionals in nursing. This is important new knowledge, which has ensured a clear recognition of their personal perspectives, in their own voices. These insightful new observations are necessary to build a specific knowledge base about them and are very positive for future participation of BBAC people in nursing careers and the NHS. An adapted model for inclusive participation is proposed, based on the findings of the research.

This study focuses on the role of parental attitudes and behaviours in the process of school dropout through addressing two objectives. The first objective consists in verifying the mediator role of educational aspirations of the adolescent on the relationship between parental educational aspirations for their child and school dropout. The second objective aims at validating the protective role of parental support against school dropout when parental educational aspirations for their adolescent are low. The results were derived from data gathered annually among 4630 Quebec high school students from 7th to 11th grade. The results demonstrate through the use of logistic regressions that educational aspirations of the adolescent mediate partially the relationship between the parental educational aspirations and school dropout. As observed, dropout were less frequent when the parents with low educational aspirations supported their child in its education. Nonetheless the results could not prove the protective role of parental educational support. Indeed, the number of dropouts appeared surprisingly also higher when parents expressed high educational aspirations and high support. Several explanations are proposed to explain those results. This study suggests that working with both parents and their child on their educational aspirations may help decrease the risk of school dropout. They also bring new perspectives on the moderating role of parenting style and academic difficulties of the adolescent on the influence of parental educational support in the school dropout process.

Sociální začlenění bezdomovců jako sociálně pedagogický problém / Social inclusion of homeless people as a social pedagogical problemHoráková, Petra January 2011 (has links)
The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part consists of three chapters, the first is devoted to familiarization with the problems of homelessness. I deal with the social aspects of this phenomenon, such as social exclusion and associated problems of social inclusion in the second chapter. The final chapter discusses the possibilities of assistance directed at homeless people. The practical part includes qualitative research where I try by means of ten case studies to bring the fate of homeless people who seek the services of institutions, where they can find qualified help in solving a wide range of problems that may be the cause of their present situation. By analyzing data, I try to figure out what is behind the possible success or failure of such persons in the pursuit of social inclusion.

Specialpedagoger, yrkesidentitet och arbetet med särskilt stöd i matematik / Special educators, professional identity and the work with special educational support in mathematicsEkman, Linda, Johansson, Niklas January 2020 (has links)
